    Job Title: The Fourth Musketeer

    Rank: C

Player Requirements: C-Ranked Wizard(s) or Two D-Ranked Wizards. Light Guild / Alignment ONLY. No Wizard above C-Rank will receive the bonus XP reward.

Job Requirements: Thread must be 30 posts long. 250 Words per post. Must Defeat at Least Three Groups of Enemies and the Boss. After defeating three groups of enemies "STEALTH" becomes optional, and you may keep rolling; and avoiding the enemies that appear by hiding and using espionage within Townsend Mansion until the Boss appears.

Job Location: Earthland (Minstrel), LeBuque Town

Job Description: 'Musketeers' that's what wizards are called in Minstrel. Charged with keeping the peace in the entire nation, the Musketeers are an ancient organization that accept only wizards into their Ranks. Unlike Fiore; they do not have an organization charged with keeping their Musketeers in check; rather, the Musketeers, protect the civilians of Minstrel and are the official lawkeepers of the nation.

However, there is trouble afoot in the elegant town of Lebuque. It seems; some Dark Wizards from Fiore have managed to break into the house of one of the most famous nobles in all of Minstrel. Sir Townsend. They have taken him, and his entire family hostage; and have laid demands of 1 million jewels down or it will mean their death.

The Musketeers are all to familiar with Dark Wizards, but felt it was best to contact the Guilds of Fiore for help against their own natives.

Your mission is simple; infiltrate the Mansion and free the Townsend family from the grasp of the Dark Wizards from Fiore.

The Musketeers have assigned three of their very finest Musketeers to make sure it goes smoothly.

Their names are Atha, Atma, and Portha. Blonde, Red-Head, and Brunette; respectively. These girls are REAL lookers; but don't let that fool you. All of them are extremely skilled wizards, fem fatales; and use both Gun Magic and Sword Magic at levels that far exceed this Jobs requirements.

However, they are personal friends of Sir Townsend and his family; and will stop at nothing to help you free him.

Meet up with the Three Musketeers at the location that the Musketeers organization has told you they'll be waiting for you.

    Enemies:

Weak: Wind-Make Wizard x2 - Goes down in one hit of C-Ranked damage, or two hits of D-Ranked damage. Will target Lightning, Water, and Projectile Users first.

Normal: Earth-Make Wizard x2 - Goes down in two hits of C-Ranked damage, or four hits of D-Ranked damage. Will target Water and Wind type opponents first.

Strong: Summoner Wizard x2 - Goes down in four hits of C-Ranked damage. Or eight hits of D-Ranked damage. Will target Darkness or Light type opponents first.

Boss: Teleportation Wizard - Goes down in 10 hits of C-Ranked damage. Or twenty hits of D-Ranked damage. Will avoid anything less than a C-Ranked attack with an instant teleport without even trying. Will teleport behind you and attempt to use melee (hands and feet) strikes in combination with his teleportaton magics. Also may grab an item and warp it above your head to fall on you; or other tricky surprises.

Reward: A Green "Musketeer" outfit to wear when you're in Minstrel, showing that you are always welcome in Minstrel and are considered an official wizard there, just like you are in Fiore. 15k Jewels. Equivalent EXP of THREE Jobs of your Rank. May only complete this Job once.

A tunnel of darkness lay before her, monstrously hungry and gaping as it gave no indication of what awaited the mage, inside.  Muddled water in varying shades of murky green and yellow sat in miniature pools, which were scattered all around the opening of the long cave.  She peered inside, but the shadows were impenetrable past four feet in, partially due to the overhanging edge of the mouth of the cavern.  With a nervous lick of her lips, the mage dashed lightly forwards in a burst of swiftness until she was approximately twenty feet inside the tunnel; so far, so good.  Continuing with more hesitant steps, the pink haired girl managed to attain an even further distance than last time.

This was a common pattern for her, despite the fear which surrounded every venture into the cave.  Her method of exploration concerning this area was to go in about thirty feet further than last time, then return safely to the outside world.  Today's expedition complete, the young woman turned around and started off on what was supposed to be a brief walk back to the forest.  However, an obstacle immediately rose in her way, for the girl hit a solid barrier only four or so feet away from the spot where she had turned around.  After a moment's consideration, the mage decided that she had hit a side wall of the tunnel, so she rotated her body slightly to the side so that her path would no longer be obstructed.  It seemed that this was not actually the solution to her dilemma, as she promptly ran headfirst into what could only be described as a slab of rock and dirt.

Shaking her head in confusion, the girl furiously backed away from the wall, only to have her spine and shoulder bones slam against another, just twelve or so feet behind her.  It was quite clear that they were the sides, the structure of the long cavern... so what on earth had possibly blocked her path?  She raised her hands up to feel in the darkness, for the distance she had gone within the cave was enough so that no light from the surface was able to reach her location.  After hopelessly shifting around for several minutes, her terror only rising as she stumbled around in unknown directions, the mage finally paused, panting.  Extending her arm to the side, she pushed a single palm flat against the sturdy, flat surface, taking a moment to stabilize her breathing.  Once her pulse had mostly stopped racing, the girl lifted up her other hand to brush her bangs to one side of her face, as they were clinging to her skin due to the nervous sweat her pores were excreting.  The back of her hand connected solidly with what was obviously a cave wall; the rough, crumbly texture of it only solidified that theory.

So, what was she supporting her weight with, on the other side?  It wasn't possible for it to be the other curved tunnel surface, as that should be behind her... with a small gasp of alarm, the youth drew her hand back once again.  She squinted at the spot where her hand had been a few moments ago, and then finally after about five minutes of staring, the girl hesitantly waved her arm around in the space.  Whatever had been there was already gone, vanished without a trace or even a muffled sound.  An even greater sense of unease rose in the young mage's body, and she bit her lip to keep from crying out.  Just then, a suffocating presence filled the air without warning, nearly sending tremors through the atmosphere.  Whirling around, since the most pulsing force seemed to be originating from behind her, the girl barely caught sight of a horrendously disfigured face, lit up by a scorching fire just inches from her own head, before--

    "AHH!"

Evelyn let out a yelp before squeezing her eyes shut and tossing around, further entangling herself into her sheets and bedcovers.  After a moment of panicking, the girl cracked open her right eye to stare suspiciously at her surroundings.  Cheap bedframe, check.  Whitewashed walls, check.  Clothing scattered all of the floor?... check.  Breathing in a sigh of relief, the fiery haired mage sat up and was just opening her mouth for an enormous yawn when a sudden prod on the shoulder immediately startled her back under the pile of blankets.  "Jeez, you're like a li'l mouse.  Hurry up and get dressed," berated Trisana, who had apparently summoned herself at some point during the night.  Most likely quite recently; in fact, the change in Evvy's magic power due to Tris's summoning had likely been the reason the mage woke up.

"C'mon, get moving already!  You've been sleeping for ages, and I just got here!  Let's have some fun before I gotta leave again," the spirit grumbled as she harassed the summoner with a pillow.  Upon hearing the cranky voice for a second time, Evvy promptly leaped into action.

"Wait, Tris!  Why did you summon yourself here in my house?  You're going to wreck the place... I'm just renting it, you know.  The landlord is going to be unhappy if your miniature lightning strikes and rain damage the apartment," she protested, eyeing the crackling storm magic that was currently giving off sparks here and there as it swirled around Trisana.  The spirit didn't seem to be discouraged by Evvy's feeble attempts to dissuade her from using storm magic indoors.  Tris only rolled her eyes and snappishly turned away, the amount of lightning surrounding her only increasing in power and size with her anger.

"Just hurry up and get dressed!  I want to go on a mission, today.  You haven't summoned me in forever... life is getting boring in the spirit world, what with Sandry being all condescending," she grumbled.  The young mage could understand where Tris was coming from; after all, the mermaid spirit had a tendency to be quite uppity, but she did come from a royal family.

"Alright, Tris!  I'll be out in just a minute!" called the girl as she rushed into the bathroom.  All the spirit did was shake her head and murmur under her breath, "Baka... it takes you at least ten minutes for a shower."

1056/7500 Words.  Doing this by word count cx.
