    寂しい .    .   .
This was annoying. Just like half the things around him would fall under that particular subject, today was not any different. He would've much preferred something that would have cause him to break a sweat; typically anything that involved the use of a sword, yet, much to his disappointed, all the better jobs had been taken. And because the date of paying rent was nearly a week away, it would've been a ridiculously stupid idea just to wait till something better came into his grasp.

Even if it meant suffering at this cheap job, he'd disregard his pride as long as money was handed to him in the end. That's right. Cus' that was all that truly mattered; money. Nothing else. In these horribly dull and normal days, there had always been something missing. It was like the colour from the world had been drained away, grey and boring. He'd head from place to place, just to afford his tiny apartment, eat the same pickups and sleep in that room which smelt faintly of smoke. Ryuu may of had the freedom he always wanted, though, there was a strange and unknowing longing to find that one true colour again.

Finally after some time of travel, the destination settled just before him, tucked away within the busy streets of Crocus. Just as its advertisement suggested, the place was horribly run down. Not to mention its location appeared to be in a rather dangerous area. No wonder they need help; he thought with a following sigh escaping past his lips, casually pushing through the doors. The ringing bell sounded into the shop at his entrance, a few people seated here and there throughout the place, but hardly enough to call it busy. A young woman from behind the counter, lit up at actually seeing someone unfamiliar to her walk through the door.

"Hello! Just you today, sir?" at her question, Ryuu handed the young lady the job description in counter to her words, confusion clearly drawn into her features as she recognized it almost immediately. "You're here for this?" irritation was found quickly within his fierce gaze, the woman tensing, "N-No I meant no offence! Its just I was excepting well.. people that were.. female.." knowing the moment that came out of her mouth, that she should've chosen a different way to explain, she lowered her head in defeat.

"Where do I change?" with the gesture to the back, he pursued through a brief hallway of an evident kitchen and then into a change room. There were multiple outfits hung on a clothing rack to the side, all made for woman. When the lady followed behind him, there was still a hint of anxiety left across her features, especially over the fact she had nothing for young men to wear.

"I'm sorry, but those are all the costumes I have..." she muttered out, watching as Ryuu would examine each and every one with a slight frown. "Get out." at his harsh words, the young lady would comply without so much as a single comment, quickly evacuating from the change room as he'd take one of the outfits into his hands, peering down on it with an expression of utter disgust. For the money; he convinced himself, slowly making way to removing the layers of his clothing and pull on the maid dress that was, much too tight.

Fun fact, this white haired and yellow eyed man was not a morning person. Whenever he woke up early, he'd become very aggravated and easily irritated, like most non-morning people. But today was different.

For the last few months, Haruhi had been staying in a cheaper motel. It wasn't a remarkable place. When Haruhi would wake up every morning, he rise from his rather stiff bed and feather-filled pillow. When he would turn to his left or right, two nightstands would station on either side of the bed, one holding a mahoghany lamp and the other holding an alarm clock and his room key, if not a bunch of other things that should not be sitting out, like food or tissues. He wasn't exactly the tidiest person, either...

But on that note, the white haired boy had just woken up, eyes fluttering open as he body sprawled against the mattress twitched. A sliver of drool running down the corner of his mouth, and had obviously enjoyed his slumber, or enjoyed it too well. But still a bit dozed, he instantly lifted his back from the mattress and stretched in his white tank top. "Ahhhh! That was so nice... what time is it?" He yawned, turning over to grab and inspect the alarm clock, which did not go off.

With a comical shadow casting over his eyes, he stared at the alarm clock. Then looked at himself, then at the alarm clock, then back at himself, then at the job request information he had snatched on his way back here a few nights ago that soundly laid on the edge of the bed.

    "......"

And just then, in an instant, all two blankets and bed sheets ripped off of him, he threw the alarm clock back onto the nightstand, and flailed out of his bed with the most ghostly expression. "GYAAAAH! I'm gonna be late! Oh man, oh man, I'm gonna be late! O- Wyaaah!!" In a panic, and zoomed across the room from drawer to drawer, tripping over his own clothes, and landing face first. He just laid there, comically twitching before jerking his head back up and grumbling, eye twitching and all.

"Ow, ow, ow... mean floorboards..." He pouted, standing back up while rubbing his red nose and continuing to get dressed. Afterwards, fixing up an rushed breakfast.

And just like that, after a few minutes of and obviously disorganized clothing proceedure, he bolted out of the motel room with a soft piece of jellied toast hanging from his teeth while wearing his white and gold long-sleeved jacket, black undershirt, white and gold pants and hat, with his shiny black shoes.

As 'classy' as he looked, it was truly one of his everyday wears. He always did have a good taste in fashion, but that was besides the point! He dashed down the stairs, holding onto his hat as he zoomed down, almost tripping. "Gotta run, gotta run!" He shouted, finally making it to the bottom floor, running towards the sign-in counter, where the always-working lady with brown hair and blue eyes would always greet him. Her name was Chloe, and happened to be in her early thirties and quite fond of Haruhi. They would always chat when they got the chance.

Haruhi made the largest stop he had ever made as he tried not to crash into the counter, hands tightly gripping on the edge of the counter while proceeding to sign out on the papers with the given pen, obviously in a hurry. "Morning, Chlo-chan! I gotta go!" He spoke with a mouthful, trying not to drop his toast while signing out.

"Not gonna stay for some orange juic- O-Oh, where are you going, Haruhi?!" She would cut off mid sentence as Haru dashed out the doors, waving back at the woman.

"Sorry, Chlo-chan! I'm in a hurry, bye bye!" And just like that, he went zooming down the side roads in an unbelievable haste, making sharp turns and occasionally bumping into people, while unintentionally nibbling his toast. Eventually making it over to Cafe in the nick of time.

He huffed and panted, not a running person, but still managing to make it over. To him, it was an accomplishment. - The doors to the cafe swung open with a little ring of the bell that was above it, announcing his entrance.

Panting he spoke in segments, "I'm... here... hehe!" Snickering, he examined himself carefully, smirking, "And not a speck on me! HA!" He clenched his fist, completely enthusiastic about this accomplishment! But... there was something missing.

"Huh? Wait a second..." He spoke suspiciously, fingers gently grazing across the crumbs around his mouth... but no toast. Trembling, he fell to his knees as a comical river of tears rained from both golden eyes.

"My toast! I worked really hard to make that! I didn't even get a chance to enjoy it..." He sobbed, but like a child. But it was at that moment that a woman, who stood behind the counter, tilted her head and beckoned him. "Hello sir, are you here for the...?" She spoke sympathetically, trying to speak in a comforting tone to the little Haruhi. He simply sniffled and turned to face her with teary eyes, nodding slowly, clearly heartbroken. "Uh huh...

"Well, listen sweetheart, you can get ready in one of our changing rooms, one of them is already occupied. I just got back from the guy." She sighed with a smile, "Follow me."

Haruhi only nodded slowly with sad puppy eyes, lifting himself up from the ground, sulking, and following behind with a pouting face. It was quite the quiet place, to be honest. Not a peep from anywhere. But soon, they arrived at the changing room on the opposite side of the first one. "Just go pick a costume in there, and we'll go from there." She smiled, pointing at the door before leaving.

"This is so exciting!" His eyes sparkled, seeming to recover from the grim loss of his toast in an instant. And just like that, he walked into the room with the most giddy of expressions, locking the door behind and and inspecting the room. It had a simple and basic interior design, and he couldn't help but critique it. But, shunning the idea once realizing he was getting distracted.

He walked over to the mirror, and under it was a counter with a series of costumes, and in an assortment of different color schemes. Red, white, blue, yellow... but of course, he had to go with the white. It was his favorite color!

Excitedly, he snatched the costume away, it had black and white leggings and a cute red mini skirt, black tank top and white robe, much like the one he had at home. Along with a long, white hair extension perfectly in contrast with his. He blushed, eyes sparkly with awe. "Cute, cute, cute!!" He flailed, squirming left and right in pure affection before he proceeded to put in on, he didn't much time to stand here and praise!

    Just a Warrior

IN A WORLD THAT WAS BUILT FOR A MAGE

He fricken hated getting up in the morning, actually he pretty much hated everything. The noir haired man strolled through the streets, he had just come down from the guild in the mountains. What was it again? Oh.. Right, Basalisk Fang. He really didn't care he merely followed a shorty up to the guild and the guild in itself seemed about right. No one was trying to kill him which was good and there wasn't any one who seemed to be out for his head.

With his hands stuffed into his pockets and a piece of paper stuck in one of them the tall male strode through the streets. He was looking into the shops seeing if there was anything in there of importance. Usually wasn't but every now and then there was something that could be of value later. His hair raveled around his ears, brushing past it with every one of his steps. The eye patch that he was wearing over his eye allowing for him to focus more on the are in front of him.

However the voices of the people around him also echoed in his ears. He could always hear them. A part of the eye patch that he wore's fault. Because of the loss of his eye sight his hearing had gotten more sensitive and he could hear more than most other people could. The voices of the women and their wretchingly high pitched voices as they squealed over something or they talked about something that they wanted. The talk about who was the hottest boy that they had seen or maybe the flavour of the ice-cream that they had just had was amazing. But none of this mattered to the man with the black hair as he continued to walk. It was all in fact boring as their own lives and as worthless too.

Pulling the sheet of paper that he held in his pocket out the warrior looked it over with a grim face. 'It's better to start off easy' they said. A low growl ripped from his throat and the with his tall frame he walked through the streets of the town to his destination.

Upon arriving he looked around for the woman's name who had been printed on the sheet of paper. But, not attaching a picture to the name the male groaned and marched his way over to the counter and slammed it down pointing to the name on the sheet. "This person now." His golden orbs were narrowed at the woman who stood before him and with only a nod she scurried off.

It took only seconds before the man had been pushed into a room with mumbles of how rude the takes of the jobs were today. Kion merely shrugged his shoulders and looked at the costumes that were presented to him.... "You've got to be f***ing kidding me."

    寂しい .    .   .
Golden irises sheathed towards the reflection within the tiny space for changing, examining the difference in this outfit, prior to the one that he was more mundane with wearing. Thankfully, the dress that was invented for the purpose of a woman, was not as tight as he had predicted it to be. It actually looked quite alright— wait that wasn't right. This was still horribly shameful to the pride that he attained; free elastic on the wrist stretched upward to fasten the few lengthed strands into place.

This would only last one day, he repeated within his mind, reassuring the fact that this task would long be forgotten once the brunette was home again. Slender hands still veiled by fingerless gloves, though oddly enough flattering the outfit, tugged on the ridiculously awkward shoes that elevated his height by a few inches. There was a bit of turmoil that formed onto his features in the furrow of brows, marvelling how woman could walk so normally in these things. The first motion nearly had the youth staggering over before gradually retaining his balance again. "Shit," breathing out the cuss word, the curtain was shoved out of the way as he carefully stepped out of the change room, "This is hurting my feet already." voices were heard within the other cubicles, though no concern was directed towards what he assumed to be just the regular workers of this worn out café.

"Okay... I'm ready." lastly back at the counter-front of the shop, the lady gaped at him in a seemingly dreamy-state; as if her greatest fantasies had just come to life before her eyes. One singular brow switched, evidently provoked by the longest pause— or more like silence, he had ever received. "Hello?" he barked, tone of impatience notable enough to jolt the lady back into reality.

"Y-Yes! Sorry!" with a head that rattled more than humanly possible, she shook away the majority of bashfulness, lips tugging into an anxious smile, "Just wait a moment till the others are changed." at the word— others, curiosity shifted his gaze back towards where the change-rooms were. At least he wouldn't have to do this alone, that was a relief. Then again that was dependable on the people that were also participating in this. In all honesty he didn't enjoy receiving aid from others; it was the fact he wouldn't be the only one loosing a bit of his dignity today that made him feel— a little bit better.
