His feet were rapidly stepping the floors beneath them, pushing his body further and further into the town of Hargeon. Wind upon wind slammed onto his head as sweat dropped down his face. I… I got to hurry..!, Imai thought for himself, while rushing across street to street. He resembled an Olympic runner; keeping his speed up and charging like never before. Why was he hurrying so much? And what was he hurrying for? You see, he was on another job; straight after the last one. This one was about some thieves, who had stolen some jewels, and were running somewhere. He had no idea of where they were, and what they had stolen, but he was determined to find them and bring their what-ever plan down. Also, he was advised to hurry, as they appeared to have been gone for quite a while now. Rumors said that they already fled…

He stopped up in front of one of the decks at Hargeon, apparently having ran through the entire town. His breath was heavy and uncontrolled, as well as the dozens of sweat dropping down of him. “… I’ll… never find them like… this,” he slowly said to himself, reminding him of the importance of this mission. He couldn’t let them get away with so many jewels; that much value was rightfully owned by Shipping Co. For him, it was a nasty feeling to steal so much from someone, who’d used so much time and effort into earning it. He moved his gaze up to the sky, slowly considering looking around the town once more, when a sudden light began to approach his eyes. He rubbed them a little, as it appeared to grow bigger and closing up on him. “What… what’s that light? A meteor?” he asked himself, while watching the phenomenon take him by surprise…

When he opened his eyes again, he was quite surprised by a sudden being in front of him; with adorable eyes and a small body, it spread out innocence and sweetness. Imai was overwhelmed by its cuteness, his cheeks began to blush by the presence of the creature and a soft smile appeared on his face. “Oh…” he sighed, totally losing all focus on the mission, “Who are you, you cute, little buddy..?” Moving up its kawaii head, the creature focused its eyes on Imai for a long moment, not saying a single word. Question marks began to spread around his skull, questioning him about the reason for it not to speak with him. Was it scared? Or perhaps not used to speak with strangers? “Oh, hey, don’t be shy,” he continued, while nuzzling its adorably little head, “I’m friendly, come on. You can speak to me, right?” Its skin was shockingly smooth and hairless, erupting a bright, pink color. Once contacting, the bright skin began to glow as foreground of the night sky. “Woah… what’s going on with your skin?” Imai asked it, although in vain. The creature never said a word to him. “… Oh, damn, that’s right!” he spoke up as he remembered about the job; perfect timing, because from the corner of his eye, he could skim ten guys with large bags, seemingly filled with something shiny. As their luggage began to pour down from their bags, they appeared to reveal themselves as the thieves from the job; Imai’s instincts let him jump up and rush towards the newbie thieves, hoping to catch them by surprise. Unluckily, they spotted him from afar and began fleeing from the upcoming mage that charged against them. “Hey, come back, you bastards!!!” he roared, while charging through the streets once more, totally losing focus again. What he didn’t notice, though, was the presence of the being beside him, flying around and spectating the actions of this red-haired guy…

Chase! Speed! Run! [Job | Solo] Empty Re: Chase! Speed! Run! [Job | Solo]

    Post by Imai-chi 9th June 2016, 2:09 am

Finding his way through citizens and workers in the streets very difficult, Imai decided to leap onto the buildings in order to have a wider view over the town. He could skim the figures of those thieves with their giant sacks, but when speeding up again, he spotted the pink animal from earlier. Apparently, it’d followed him from the deck, with its big eyes filled with curiosity and wonder. “Huh? Hey, what are you doing?” Imai spoke to it, confused of its intentions. Without answering, the shiny animal grabbed Imai’s bag, as a sparkling light engulfed the astronomic mage. It took him by surprise, as his feet were suddenly moving faster on the ground, launching him forward in an immense speed. “WOOAAAAAHHH!” he roared in shock, suddenly jumping over the roofs like it was nothing, “What’s going on?! Hey, is this your work?!” He tried to look behind him, but couldn’t spot the cute, little alien that was holding his back tightly. When he moved his view forward again, he discovered the same tracks of jewels as earlier; those guys were really amateurs at robbing.

The jewels lead him to a dead end street, where the 10 robbers were looking around in anxiousness. To increase their jitteriness, Imai heavily landed on the ground in the middle of the group, causing the surprised thieves to scatter in all directions. “You can’t run away from me, fools..!” Imai spoke up to them, while two guys were about to grab his arms. Thinking that they’d captured him, Imai was preparing to ruin their hopes; bluish light balls erupted from his body and launched in every direction, swiftly hitting every single thief around him. The alien on his back slowly watched the action with its big, blue eyes, unharmed by the bluish balls. Laying on the marble kerb, most of the robbers were heavily damaged; although, a few of them had disappeared from his view. There were only seven here; where were the other three?

    Spell Used:

    Name: Star Blast
    Rank: D
    Type: Offensive, Light
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: The user can launch a bluish beam of pure, nebulous light towards any direction out of his body; from his fingertips, elbows, knees, head, butt and etc. The user can cover a giant area with destructive light, or keep it to one, single beam. The blasts move at a speed of 15 m/s and covers an area of 15 meters in radius around the user (if decided to do Area of Effect, which the user can wish).

    Strengths:
    1. The user can switch between AoE and a single blast, which falls to his advantage in different situations.
    2. The beams of light can blur one's vision for a temporary time.
    Weaknesses:
    1. It's less effective against defensive spells than his other spells.
    2. Wearing a kind of head cloth that covers some of your eyes can keep the opponent from getting temporarily blinded.
    3. Offensive spells can easily find their way through this spell if of a rank higher than the user.
    Pet Ability Used:

    Name: Heavenly Body Activation: Swift
    Rank: C (User-ranked)
Description: The alien puts its hands on the wished user, then proceeds to send a strange aura through the person's body. This increases the person's speed by a certain amount, as long as there is contact between the pet and the affected.

    D-Rank: 25% | C-Rank: 50%

    Strengths:
    1. You can boost your speed to even further heights.
    Weaknesses:
    1. It breaks by simply separating the affected and the pet.
    2. The pet can only activate one Heavenly Body Activation at a time, so if boosting one's endurance, the other effects/abilities will be cancelled.

Chase! Speed! Run! [Job | Solo] Empty Re: Chase! Speed! Run! [Job | Solo]

    Post by Imai-chi 9th June 2016, 5:11 am

His eyes moved around the area, desperately trying to discover the fled enemies, when Sei flew around him. “Where are they, where are they..?” he continuously asked himself. How’d they disappear like that? Maybe they took the chance when the nebulous spell was unleashed by Imai, fleeing under the cover of the bright light. He suddenly stamped the ground in a comic rage, letting himself down for losing track of them. “Seriously!? How could I lose sight of them?!” he scolded himself, being watched by the floating alien. Although, the fleeing thieves couldn’t have gone too far away; the entire city was after them, so what was their best way of escape… it would most likely be the decks at Hargeon Port. Determining his destination, Imai charged up to the air, quickly turning into a blue beam of light that resembled a falling star’s track of flames. He soared above the roofs of Hargeon Town easily, while searching for these cowards.

However, he couldn’t ignore the adorable creature that followed him right now; still holding onto his back, it expressed such innocence that distracted him so much. “Ahh… hey, buddy, it’s too dangerous to fly among thieves, you know,” Imai calmly spoke to it, but the mere mute answered him. Why didn’t it talk to him at all? It must’ve been mute, otherwise it would just be disrespectful to stay mute towards someone. “… I guess that you won’t say anything to me, eh?” Imai continued, his curiosity growing for this alien.

Before he even kenw it, he flew above the port; specifically watching a strange ship that was smaller and more discreetly looking than the others. He concluded that it must’ve been the thieves’ escape, therefore making it a no to let them get away. As the robbers had put their sacks on the ship’s deck, Imai landed on the wooden boards with the alien; slowly focusing their eyes on the last pieces of targets for this day’s job…
    Ability Used:

Falling Star – Imai engulfs himself in light and moves at a speed of 15 m/s for 3 posts. It increases by 15 meters per rank and has a cooldown of 2 posts longer than the usage. When used, his speed is also decreased by 50% the first half of the posts of the cooldown.

Chase! Speed! Run! [Job | Solo] Empty Re: Chase! Speed! Run! [Job | Solo]

    Post by Imai-chi 9th June 2016, 5:34 am

“Hey, that’s the guy from earlier!” one of the robbers spoke up, warning the others, “Hurry! Someone, distract him!” One of them approached Imai, feeling quite confident to just distract him; despite that they all saw Imai’s talent a few moments ago, they still hoped to flee form this town with all the jewels. “Now, boy, how is it? Playing around with magic, I see?” the robber provoked him, whilst a grin grew on his face, “Now, you should just go back to your kindergarten or whatever, and let us adults earn something today…” A few moments of silence came from Imai, followed by a sudden tackle on the robber’s torso. Steam came out of the impact between the bluish, meteor-like Imai and the target, who was then launched several meters away. “Ha..! Guess who’s playing, now?” he spoke, quickly switching direction to another robber, “’Cause I’m kicking ass!” A massive hit was landed on the second robber, who fell off the deck and into the cold, dark water, which reflected the stars above them.

One guy was still standing, and Imai wasn’t going to waste any time on chasing him anymore. With a smooth movement, Imai charged up on the third robber, who shockingly threw the sack of jewels at the light bolt. The explosion caused several jewels to be scattered around the deck, whilst Imai still managed to land a hit on the scared robber. The impact caused the ship’s deck to crack open, causing great destruction to its structure. “Phew, that was quick..! The job is done!” he stated, while guardians from the gates to Hargeon arrived, taking in all the knocked out opponents.

On his way back to the guild, he got used to the weird alien following him around. Even after walking several miles, it still didn’t let go off Imai’s back and held it tight to itself like a little child. Even Imai found it too strange to be normal; what was this creature, and why was it so wondered by Imai? Maybe it just liked him a lot and wanted to stay around with him, which he didn’t really bother as he could find his answers somewhere in the time that those two will spend together…

    END

    Spell Used:

    Name: Comet Smash
    Rank: D
    Type: Offensive, Light
    Duration: 2 posts
    Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: The user charges into the target at a speed of 15 m/s, engulfed in a bluish, soft nebula, then dashing onto the target with the light. This nebula-like light that surrounds the user covers an area of 5 meters in radius around him, but is clearest around the person’s contour. He can reach a range of 15 meters away from his earlier position with this spell.

    Strengths:
    1. It's a very bright/intimidating spell, easily showing wildness towards the target.
    2. It's very fast and the user can quickly catch up on people.
    Weaknesses:
    1. It's very easy to spot, due to its brightness and wildness.
    2. The user's track can be stopped by a defensive wall or other defensive spells of the same rank or higher.
    3. The user can't stand still when using this spell, which gives him no opportunity at braking mid-way.
