    From Wizard to Musketeer!

Post by King on 29th April 2016, 2:57 pm

    Job Sheet:
    Job Title: The Fourth Musketeer

    Rank: C

Player Requirements: C-Ranked Wizard(s) or Two D-Ranked Wizards. Light Guild / Alignment ONLY. No Wizard above C-Rank will receive the bonus XP reward.

Job Requirements: Thread must be 30 posts long. 250 Words per post. Must Defeat at Least Three Groups of Enemies and the Boss. After defeating three groups of enemies "STEALTH" becomes optional, and you may keep rolling; and avoiding the enemies that appear by hiding and using espionage within Townsend Mansion until the Boss appears.

Job Location: Earthland (Minstrel), LeBuque Town

Job Description: 'Musketeers' that's what wizards are called in Minstrel. Charged with keeping the peace in the entire nation, the Musketeers are an ancient organization that accept only wizards into their Ranks. Unlike Fiore; they do not have an organization charged with keeping their Musketeers in check; rather, the Musketeers, protect the civilians of Minstrel and are the official lawkeepers of the nation.

However, there is trouble afoot in the elegant town of Lebuque. It seems; some Dark Wizards from Fiore have managed to break into the house of one of the most famous nobles in all of Minstrel. Sir Townsend. They have taken him, and his entire family hostage; and have laid demands of 1 million jewels down or it will mean their death.

The Musketeers are all to familiar with Dark Wizards, but felt it was best to contact the Guilds of Fiore for help against their own natives.

Your mission is simple; infiltrate the Mansion and free the Townsend family from the grasp of the Dark Wizards from Fiore.

The Musketeers have assigned three of their very finest Musketeers to make sure it goes smoothly.

Their names are Atha, Atma, and Portha. Blonde, Red-Head, and Brunette; respectively. These girls are REAL lookers; but don't let that fool you. All of them are extremely skilled wizards, fem fatales; and use both Gun Magic and Sword Magic at levels that far exceed this Jobs requirements.

However, they are personal friends of Sir Townsend and his family; and will stop at nothing to help you free him.

Meet up with the Three Musketeers at the location that the Musketeers organization has told you they'll be waiting for you.

    Enemies:

Weak: Wind-Make Wizard x2 - Goes down in one hit of C-Ranked damage, or two hits of D-Ranked damage. Will target Lightning, Water, and Projectile Users first.

Normal: Earth-Make Wizard x2 - Goes down in two hits of C-Ranked damage, or four hits of D-Ranked damage. Will target Water and Wind type opponents first.

Strong: Summoner Wizard x2 - Goes down in four hits of C-Ranked damage. Or eight hits of D-Ranked damage. Will target Darkness or Light type opponents first.

Boss: Teleportation Wizard - Goes down in 10 hits of C-Ranked damage. Or twenty hits of D-Ranked damage. Will avoid anything less than a C-Ranked attack with an instant teleport without even trying. Will teleport behind you and attempt to use melee (hands and feet) strikes in combination with his teleportaton magics. Also may grab an item and warp it above your head to fall on you; or other tricky surprises.

Reward: A Green "Musketeer" outfit to wear when you're in Minstrel, showing that you are always welcome in Minstrel and are considered an official wizard there, just like you are in Fiore. 15k Jewels. Equivalent EXP of THREE Jobs of your Rank. May only complete this Job once.

    lets get this
    started! ...baka

The thought of stepping onto a boat for the first time ever, had been met with excitement and curiosity for the large blue sea. The odour of salty water, and the clear skies was almost to perfect for this moment until he discovered how boring it really was — trapped in a large body of water that was almost as similar as the desert. It was hot, and the smell was sickening enough that it seemed the majority of the passengers suffered with motion sickness. The job sheet that he held so carefully in his hands was raised upward, eyes as similar to the beautiful blue peering over the information with certain hesitation and dread.

Was traveling always like this? At often times he could recall going from place to place with Iskander, though, they had always ventured by foot instead. It was tiring and sometimes painful, yet, because they had done it so often, it eventually was nothing to him at all. In-fact, he had actually found it to be quite enjoyable. Atlas let a sigh depart from his lips, glancing over to look at someone whom had accompanied him on this mission. Someone he considered as an older-brother figure. And that someone was not where he had originally been sitting. More accurately — it was now an empty spot. Hopping off of the bench that rested along the side of the ship, he glanced over the settlement of people, some that were standing and the rest, sitting down. Though it wasn't that hard to find him.

Standing at the front of the ship, it appeared as though he was enjoying the more cool breeze rebounding off the ocean. He always seemed to be one whom took pleasure in the gentle touch of wind, so, Atlas approached him unnoticed. "Are we close?" with a question instead of a greeting, the smaller, blue-haired kid peered up at him with a certain interest gleaming across his eyes. "This is my first time, going so far for a mission. I wonder what will await us in Minstrel." youthful features lighted up into a smile, and he faced the endless expanse of water before them both.

Ah the Sea! Such a vast and wonderful place to be, out at sea. The smells of the ocean, the sounds of the marine life below them, and the best part... a breeze that can just swoop in and blow for days. There was nothing stopping anyone from enjoying themselves out at sea. From above, in a seagull-eyed view, a boat was racing around the waters. It was carrying passengers from Fiore to Minstrel. Some of them were just going to visit the country, going on vacation, or the crew, there to maintain the vessel. However, the most interesting boys on board were traveling around for a job. They were both technically mages of Fiore, despite ones neutrally and other guild-less.

The one of neutrality was sitting on a bench, looking up to the sky with his eyes closed. His name was Jaeger, a rather peaceful fellow with a thing for breezes and the sea. The mage was quite enjoying his voyage to Minstrel. The mage he was with, Atlas, was excited at first. However, it seemed as if that wore off quickly as he got hit by the air and smells. Not only that, The man thought his kid brother was bored of just being out at sea. His restlessness was fairly humorous, the man could see his kid brother bottling up all that energy as he awaited for them to land.

Jaeger looked around the rest of the boat. The group of people near him were getting rather loud and rowdy, it was pretty off putting. So, the brunette mage move himself over to the front of the boat, where the breeze could easily reach him and flow through his amazing locks of hair. Shortly after, Atlas came up behind him, startling the adult with an abrupt end to the silence.

”Jeez... Du...n sneak up, man... yeah we're almost there. Minstrel should be coming up on the horizon any moment now. It'll be nice to visit another country, even if it is only for a job. Being this far away from home, it's just want your soul needs to continue on and refresh itself.

    . . . .

And you better get used to this, Atlas. Sleeping Forest is on top of a Giant Lion Turtle that roams the seas. You'll be living on these waters for some time.”

Jaeger mentioned and moved a hand out from under himself and placed it on atlas's head, squishing his hat. Soon after, Minstrel began to come into view.

"G-Giant lion turtle?" lashes fluttered in a display of astonishment, wondering, yet also trying to picture how such a creature could exist. He had seen many out-of-this-world beings, though he had not been gifted the witness of knowing this one. A joking-like frown scrunched across his features at the action of Jaeger disarranging the silver locks that settled across his crown. As much as living over the sea drew hesitation to the one whom was so familiar with living on land - it seemed as long as he was with this man, he'd find himself to be just alright.

In the memories that he peered back upon, Atlas could remember distinctly the first time he met this man. At first, he couldn't help but admit that he thought Jaeger was a bit of a misfit compared to the others that raised him. Though later on, truth was found in the fact that first impressions were not always the key to judging people. "Ah!" posture straightened, arching over the ledge of the boat slightly as he gripped eagerly at the worn wooden surface. "I see it! Over there!" the mer sight of land seemed to put him at ease with the alien-like atmosphere of being at sea for such a long period of time. He couldn't wait to touch ground again, especially in a country he had never been in before. "Minstrel, here we come!" they were close enough now to clearly see the docks and every bumpy form of buildings that layered over the land.

Ah… right, the child didn’t know of the Lion turtle. A magical breed of sea dwelling creatures. A natural oddity between turtles and lions, or so their name and appearance would suggest. The were the size of large islands, cities, and possibly even as big as a small country. Though there were cultural and terrain based differences, the general appearance was that they had the body of a turtle or tortoise, the head of a pudgy lion, and furry hand like paws. Genbu, in particular, was more of a Dragon Turtle, to be honest. With skin/scales and shell of gold, he had the head of a Dragon and paws were that of a scaly, webbed hand with claws. On top of the shell was a small forest the wrapped around a small mountain. A pathway led up  towards their guild building, built in an Oriental style.

”Oh, yeah. A Giant Lion Turtle! I’m sure he’ll like you too. He eats little, white haired squirts like you. But he just doesn’t eat you, it’ll toy with you first.”

Jaeger stated, trying to scare his younger brother. The man kind of hoped it would work too. Though, it would seem like he was much more excited about getting to Minstral. Who wouldn't though? It was a new and foreign land for the two. They can have many adventures here! Even after the job at hand, they can go roam around the country.

The vessel weighed anchor at the port, everyone slowly grabbing their belongings and getting off. Jaeger shoved himself up from his spot and stumbled over to the exit ramp. Nava, the Pet Red Panda, came waltzing out of the back room, groggy from his own long nap. They were finally in Minstrel and their job can finally start. The man and his pet got off the ramp, waiting at the bottom for his brother, Atlas. Once ready, he would walk with them down the pier and through the town.

”The Turtle.. Well, its more of a Giant Dragon Turtle, is named Genbu. Our Guild hall resides upon his stoney shell, sailing the sea’s on top of the Golden Dragon turtle. Im sure you’ll like it there.”
