Although it wasn't readily apparent, Kistiñe was something of a tree hugger. Was it her natural affiliation with the winds, her upbringing, or the fact that she had been stuck as a bird for six months or so that most influenced her affinity to nature? Although many would guess the first or second options, in truth being stuck as a bird most opened her eyes to the difficulties of animal life in more ways than one...being stuck as a toucan had also made it hard to pick up a date, but that was a completely different story. The Latina actually wasn't in Hargeon to participate in any charity events or help raise money for a particular cause--she was actually there to shop for Corliss--but she couldn't help but notice a couple of people sitting at a table trying to get donations for a well known environmental charity as she walked through the park. After a brief inquiry, she discovered that they were having trouble raising funds to keep the charity open. Kistiñe was by no means a saint--she was a slut and a heartbreaker--but that did not mean she did not have any compassion; while the plight of the charity was saddening, it was the thought of what might happen if the charity wasn't there that caused her to try and think of an idea. She borrowed a radio from someone and changed the station to the jazz channel, which happened to be playing one of her favorite songs.

After a few moments, she started to dance along with the tune. Every once a while, she would conjure halos and use them as mock fans or merely as props to highlight certain motions. As the song went, a crowd formed around the dancing Latina to watch her moves. Soon, the whole crowd was in the groove and tapping their feet, clapping their hands, or outright dancing along with the music. Ever the showwoman, Kistiñe danced with fire in her feet and added spice to every movement; however, she would also step aside and allow others to take the center stage, and frankly some of them were quite a show as well. As song after song came on, solo dancers and couples came out of the group every now and again to show their moves; some danced cha chas, other performed lively tangos, and many simply improvised their way through the Latin jazz grooves that came out of the boombox. Kistiñe could only smile the entire time as everyone enjoyed themselves; throughout the course of the spontaneous event, she'd ask people to donate their spare change to the charity table when she wasn't dancing.

The whole dance event lasted at that same energy level about an hour and a half. Eventually, people had to go about their business and slowly the crowd diminished until, by the time the radio was reclaimed by its owner, it was barely one or two people besides Kistiñe and the charity workers. Hugs and compliments were shared between the Latina and the last stragglers of the crowd before they, too, had to leave for more important things that day. Exhausted, Kistiñe took a seat on a nearby bench and took a breather. It had been a fun event, and for the next ten minutes or so all she could think about was how she needed to get her chops back in shape; it had been quite a while since she had danced that much, let alone with such an energetic crowd...on top of that, there were several instances where she had probably made herself look like quite a fool, although the day had gone by so quickly that she really couldn't be bothered at the moment to recall every misstep and error she had made in the routines she had tried; perhaps adding the halos into the mix had been a bad idea....

After several minutes, she got up from the bench and started to walk off to go about what she had initially set out for that day--shopping for her adoptive sister--but was stopped by the sound of one of the charity workers.

"Thank you so much," she said, "The money you managed to raise for us will go a long way to helping raise awareness about environmental issues throughout Fiore."

"Eh, de nada," Kistiñe replied tiredly, before continuing to walk down the pathway in the park to get back into the shopping district. She'd have a story to tell Corliss when she got back to the guild, that was for sure.
