Sol sighed as he entered Magnolia town not enjoying the fact that he had to return here so soon but he needed money and this was the closest job, it still burned the slayer up that he had been beaten so easily by Fairy Tails guild master and it made him want to tear the guild hall down brick by brick. Since he had to go into town to find the client Sol had his pet Panzer lurking in the forest outside of the town, he had his sword Lohengrin attached to his back by a strap and he gained a slight grin on his face as he prepaired to get some quick cash hopefully.

Hmm the client said the house was near the center of Magnolia but I really don’t want to get busted what to do?” the green haired mage mumbled  before he slipped into a back alley to avoid other FT mages on the streets and hopefully get to the clients house quicker, it wasn’t easy for him to get out like this with the guild leaderless but he found the rare chance from time to time. Staying in the shadows Sol looked around to try and make sure he wouldn’t get caught by a light mage he may have a different appearance from when he was beaten but he was still well known thru the land. Peeking his head out from the alley the slayer saw the coast was clear and he slipped out and continued on in the direction of the clients house as he quickly approached the center of Magnolia.

To Famine her Dragon Slayer was being careful, a trait she came to respect... The streets of Magnolia were a thing to be feared by her guild.... especially after how the last trip here ended... Famine had no desire to be thrown into Prison again but she had work to be done herself and that involved approaching Sol. Through the blackness Famine spied him taking route through one of the cities alleyways, it was then that she made herself known, delicately lunging out of the shadows against the wall behind him. It wasn't her voice that was going to make her known but how she moved to coil her hands around his middle from behind, practically hugging herself against his back with a type of malevolent amusement. What Sol did not know that his mistress did was that she had too come here for the same job. As of late not many requests had been brushing by...this would have to do, it ended in pay and would provide some time for the mage to get to know her subordinate a little better.

"Sol?~ What are you doing here, pet?"
she murmured dulcetly and sinisterly all at once. Her marked arms grip firmed around his narrow torso. Famine had a habit of sneaking up on her prey through the darkness, striking them when they didn't think to look over their shoulder. This, was why she had become known as The Black Mamba. Taken by her actions this moment it was of little mystery that she'd changed since solitary confinement... for worse or... better in her guilds case. A mage who was so often reserved seemed to now handle tasks with bliss and a touch of charisma.

As Sol felt a set of arms snake around his middle the slayer froze for a fraction of a second before he glanced behind him and saw his guild master almost hugging him from behind, he sighed a bit in relief before hearing Famine ask what he was doing here which made the slayer shrug his shoulder a bit. " I took a job here despite my better judgement but I need money and maybe I could get some new recruits for the guild while I was here,” he said before grinning.”I had no idea you were a stalking me master I gotta say I’m a bit flattered” he teased before he became serious.

so what brings you out here master Famine I don’t want to see you get captured again” he stated while he waited for her to answer and let him go, while he waited Sol glanced up at one of the street signs close to them and saw that they were very close to the clients street. He was still on guard though for any sign of Fairy Tail mages. Seeing no other mages present the demon looked at Famine.”would you like to join me on this job master?, from what I read its in the east forest and I’m betting there is a good chance to fight something” he offered. After waiting for her answer the slayer headed towards the house of the client, he hoped that the job would be something entertaining after all doing simple chores was not something the slayer wanted to deal with.

Famine's grip didn't falter even as his shoulders rose and slouched again in a shrug. She caught the poison dragons smirk and a ghost of a smile too touched the corners of her own mouth. "Shush. I was......watching you for mistakes. Besides your choice of location I  don't think I have reason to punish you...yet." She murmured, nails clawing slightly into is waist through his clothes. "You wont see me caught again... Expect better of me. Regardless, I think I need some practice after all I was restrained in anti magic cuffs in some cage for a month--- So Mommy needs practice." She explained, actively taking him up on the proposal. She'd help him with this job for the sake of satisfying her adrenaline cravings.

Without so much as an inquiry or warning she slipped her hands back and up to clutch the him by the backs of his shoulders, shifting her weight up in one single motion to climb onto his back; she folded her legs at his sides to hold on. Famine was tired and had never had a piggy back ride. Everyone who was in that guild was there to serve her and she saw it as good as a time as any to take this childish opportunity. She didn't wait for a reply before she pointed her marked arm out to the path ahead. "According to the request you walked out with the client is that way." She mumbled, pulling up her hood after having balanced herself. "Though when we get there I recommend you be the one to go In and talk. I'm the recently escaped inmate and you said it yourself you don't want to see me in prison again."

Sol didn’t even wince as her fingers clawed into his waist considering his last encounter here had left him on the brink of death so the smaller mages fingers hardly felt like anything.”don’t worry Master Famine I have a hunch that we will have plenty of practice today and perhaps if we are lucky an informat here as well” he said with a wide grin on his face, he suddenly felt her let go of him but then just as quickly she shifted upwards and gripped his shoulders while folding her legs at his sides. Sol got the idea of what she wanted and he grabbed her legs so she wouldn’t fall off his back. He had to force himself rather hard not to blush as the contact with his guild master.

alright I  understand Master just stay beside me when we get there and follow my lead” he said as he carried her in the direction she pointed in, after a few moments they managed to reach the address, Sol set Famine down and he knocked on the door three times. Shuffling could be heard before the door slowly opened and a 16 year old girl stuck her head out.”are you here about Mommy?” she asked timidly before the slayer put on a polite smile and nodded.”yes we are my name is Hazama and this is my assistant for the day Makoto now what can you tell us about your mom’s disapperance?” he asked while also Smoothly lying about their names so they didn‘t raise any suspicion , his politeness was also an act one that Famine would most likely see that but the teen wouldn’t. "my name is Elaine I came home from school yesterday and when I got thru the door one of the windows was broken thru and Mommy was no where in sight I hope those nasty things in the east forest didn’t get her all of my friends as school told me scary stories about them” said before Sol sighed.”we will find her just make sure the payment is ready when we return and head over to a friends house to stay out of danger” he instructed before he motioned for Famine to follow him. Once they were out of earshot the demon spoke”So the mom was taken by something in the east forest it sounds like some breed of Vulcan  but what do you think Master?”

“I think It could be anything, The other dark guilds respectively but our only trail seems to be this vulcan deal…  I say we check out the forest for our selves.” She folded her fingers together and began cracking her knuckles. Fun enough…beating up some dumb primates…but Isn’t it a tad odd that they've resorted too taking people from their homes." Famine mumbled, a pace behind his stride as they crept in the direction of the eastern forest just outside the city. “From what I have heard they are fond of gathering women-- lost women who end up in their territory, but to go into the town is a bit of a step up.” She talked with a genuine curiosity. Famine had yet to actually have an encounter with the beasts even in her years of living in this city.  The vulcans were too said to reside in the heights of Mt. Hakobe and still she hadn't encountered one of the beasts.

She couldn’t help but whirl and look over her shoulder to check the heights of the roof tops as a feeling that the fairies were after them poisoned her brain. Just being here so shortly after the incident gave her internal anxiety. The shadows in the corners of the buildings were supposed to be her assets but now she feared one of the legals, one more powerful than she could handle, would jump out from the dark spots. Her hands clenched into tight fists at her sides and her knuckles jutted out hard and white like the spine of a fish. No… If anyone showed up to attack them she knew who she could call on for aid. They had a deal— the White Wizard would be at her side in second… right?

Sol nodded as Famine mentioned that she heard that Vulcans normally took women who wandered into their territory but something still bothered him.”that is true that they don’t wander far from their area master but that makes me wonder if this is something not from the area, while your right that it could be a dark mage a broken window makes me thing otherwise it could be a Vulcan that is not from this area.” the slayer said as the forest started to come into view. Just like his master the man’s eyes were darting around the area keeping watch for any light mages lurking around he couldn’t help but be wary.

Feeling the ground shake very lightly Sol glanced to his side to see his metal monster Panzer approaching them and walked along side them as they entered the forest, Sol had caught a conversation between two people near the entrance of town that some troublesome demons had shown up in for forest but he wasn’t worried about that worse case scenario is that he or Famine would scare them off. After a few moments the slayer stopped for a moment and he took a deep breath and tried to pick out a scent or two.”hmm its stale but I can smell a female around and the vulcan scent as well it reeks” he said as he didn’t like the smell of the beast it was rather nasty but it would make it easier to find hopefully

Unafraid of the metallic beast as it caught up to their side, Famine patted a lithe hand against the animatronics metal, much the same way one would pet a normal hounds hide. Famine scanned the scenery again carefully as they turned a block… If no one saw her they’d see Sol’s pet-- But the moment never came and they were soon in a location where they could be out of harm's way: the city limits.

“Right, I almost had forgotten how good of a nose you've got, Sol.” Famine murmured, a soft smirk passing her lips with the words. It was so nice to have a slayer on her side. Eventually, the duo made it to the mouth of the forest. Whether Sol wanted to stop and make a plan of action she did not, trailing barefoot straight into the brush of the wilderness, nudging past him slightly.

The light faded as she stepped under the ceiling of branches, creating new shadows and dark patches around both of them. Eyes glimmered from tree hollows. The wind whistled between distorted trunks, carrying the sickly stank of mulch and wood-rot. It was then the guild master shuffled forward a little faster, ignoring the briars that caught at her clothes, the damp leaves that grimed her pale skin

She lifted her face, letting the light and shadow dance across my form. Bees hummed in and out of the pennyroyal. Famine inhaled its minty perfume and continued on, delighting in the sound of my her unshielded heels sliding through the leaves. “You've got good senses, how far do you think this woman is?” Famine hummed.

Panzer tilted its head towards the smaller mage and made a small rumble of acknowledgement as they had entered the forest, as Famine muttered that he had a good nose Sol sprouted a small smile at the praise his guild master had given him and he sniffed the air again to get a good idea of what was around them, he smelled the woman and the vulcan but he also picked up on a few other scents that were oddly soothing despite their location. The smell of damp leaves and the vegetation was slightly pleasant and while mulch and rotting wood would turn off most people it also combined with the other smells to create a very earthy scent that calmed Sols nerves and he focused on trying to narrow down how old the targets scent was.

The slayer motioned for them to stop again and he breathed in a few times thru his nose slowly, he slowly picked thru the scents in his mind as he focused on the woman and vulcans scent, they were both old but not cold which ment that the two were still in the forest.”I want to say that they are most likely 3 miles away but I’m not one hundred percent sure however” he said before he caught scent of something else approaching and he cut himself off as he faced the direction of the smell and he got ready for a battle, “somethings found us and I don’t think its human “ he stated as he mentally ran thru his list of spells in his head.

The smaller of the two rose a brow in confusion at the sudden stop, following the motion of his arm which urged her to stop. She waited, allowing him to sniff around like a tracking hound, folding her arms in front of her chest as she waited. Then, Sol turned in the direction of a smell, one he felt was that of an enemy closing in.

    “Found us?...don’t b--”

There was  sound like the snapping of wood and Famine quickly whirled around against the trail with her bare heels just as the shattered trunk of the tree collapsed on its side with a rustling of branches and  brush.

There was silence for a moment before a pair of glowing white eyes blinked through the darkness

A great vulcan emerged from beneath the shadows of the dense forest, clambering over the stump left of the tree. Powerful and rock like muscles tensed in the things things thick arms beneath the things grass colored fur. Whooping out from behind the large monster jumped and howled two more, puny compared to the centered ape; she would not have been surprised if his hand were as large as her own body.

Her back sank against Sol’s to assure the both of them weren’t left unwatched from behind. A glimmer of a smile snapped across her visage with a glint like the unsheathing of a blade. She examined the primates again that had come barreling their way, tattooed arms positioned in  a stance which was a mix between that of a snake charmer and spell  caster. “I want to take the Alpha-- think you can handle those grunts, Sol?” The guild master hummed dulcetly, glancing over her shoulder at her beloved slave.

The Maiden Snatcher (Sol/Famine Mission) Empty Re: The Maiden Snatcher (Sol/Famine Mission)

Post by Sol 5th March 2016, 12:00 am

Hearing the tree snap Sol instantly felt tense as he had never fought one of these creatures before and he had heard some nasty things about them as well. Looking at the white glowing eyes Sol steeled himself as he remembered that he was a feared dark mage and a proud member of Basilisk fang if he allowed himself to be frightened by these creatures Famine would never let him live it down. The alpha looked light a challenge but then with two loud whoops two more vulcans appeared beside it though much smaller. "I could handle these two in my sleep ” he said as he drew in a breath to use his roar attack.

After a moment Sol put to fingers to his lips and breathed out a powerful jet of dark green poison gas at the three Vulcans, the results were almost instant as all three let out roars of pain and the two little ones rushed forward at the two mages though the poison started to make them slightly sluggish. While they moved Sol lunged forward as well forming claws around his hands as he got close enough to the vulcans to strike. The two struck at Sols head as the slayer ducked under the two large fists fluidly and he brought both of his claws across their stomachs leaving large bleeding gashes.”Don’t tell me this is all you have I want a challenge before I cut you down to size” the slayer taunted as a vicous grin formed on his face and his eyes held a thirst for blood that he normally kept hidden

As soon as Sol began the assault Famine too fell into combat. She shifted her weight to her side, gesturing her right arm out in front of her. As her fingers folded into a hard fist an aura of magic lit beneath her like and the magic circle which had taken shape rotated beneath her heels. Moment passed and a black sphere erupted just at the base of her opened palm. Sapphire pools narrowed and her smile flickered with greater amusement.“Shadow Make:” The shadow ball soon devoured her arm like a sleeve, sculpting into it’s true form as her magic always seemed to upon casting. The dark encasing on her right arm had molded into that of a cyber canon around her arm. “Ḇ̳̦̤̱͚̮l͔̀a̭̞͚̙c̬̥̯̣̻͢ͅk͢ ͍̝C̱̖͖̳a҉̭̼͉ͅn̡ò̯n̰!” The words licked off her tongue with the hostility fire and just as she braced her other arm atop the shadow gun a large shadow spit out the end of the canon. The recoil caused both the ground beneath her to quake and her arm swing up at the force, canon disbursing.

Though the Vulcan thought they were quick the cannonball was quicker and soon smashed into the larger of the three mercilessly The projectile erupted into a eerie explosion on impact, surely dealing twice as much damage as any of the slayers attacks. The vulcan had been knocked down and without a doubt harmed by the assault but it did not stop the giant apes crumpling form from clambering back up. As if out of triumph the animal banged his wide chest with heavy fists and locked onto Famine as he studied his fists into the terrain again. With a howl The beast was charging at the witch. His massive arm swung but not in an attempt to bash her across the field, but in a chance to snatch her. His palm had been open. Famine only managed to evade by spinning atop his knuckle and  flipping back down to the ground. Her brow rose and the corner of her mouth pulled up unevenly. This… was truly a stupid Idea she was having.

Post by Sol 6th March 2016, 7:26 pm

Sol felt the ground shake as his guild master unleashed a powerful cannon ball of darkness at the head vulcan. He grinned as he looked at the two apes in front of him and he readied his claws again. The two vulcans howled and lunged at him as the slayer rushed at them again. Sol managed to dodge the first body slam attempt but the second ape had appeared right afterwards and managed to knocked the slayer back into a tree. The demon felt pain as he managed to avoid shattering his claws on the wood but his body was aching slightly now.

One of the Vulcans go ready to attack again before Panzer rushed forward and knocked the beast off of his feet before delivering a powerful bite to its arm and ripping a large chunk of its flesh away. The metal monster felt the beast throw a punch and it took the hit before backing away and circling it to keep in on edge. Sol was dealing with the other one as the Vulcan tried to follow up with its body slam with a straight punch however the slayer was ready for it and he managed to slip under the blow before he brought his claws upwards and caught the beast right in the eye with his fingers and gouged it out along with embedding poison into it so it would ooze sluggishly. The slayer was hoping to knock these two out quicky so he could find the woman in the forest. He rushed forward again and took another slash at the half blind Vucan and managed to leave another nasty set of gashes on its chest but it still seemed to be able to move around and just got more angry.

The guildmaster looked over her shoulder at the slayer. It seemed he was managing just fine on his own and with that she purposefully ‘stumbled and fell’ backwards off the beasts knuckle resulting in her being snared hood then tossed into the clutch of the beasts large hand. Famine, surfacing a classic damsel act, hoisted her arm just above her head- A national guestue one  would use when distressed. “Oh no.” She would pule, forcing herself to sound all the more feminine in that moment. The mage continued, remaining confident behind the weak ruse even as the apes hand clenched her torso, squeezing bones. “Whatever will this ape do with me, certainly I’ll end up wherever he took the other poor girl. Famine exaggerated this aloud, practically jamming Sol in the ribs with what she was trying to get at… She could only confide in him and hope that he really was smart enough to know where she was going with this.

If the missing mother hadn’t come home after being seized by the dumb animal she must of been kept somewhere… Whether that meant she were dead or better than ever Famine didn’t know...All she knew for certain was that needed to let the maiden snatcher drag her off too.. But Sol could follow after he dealt with the other two and even if he did fall too far behind… Famine trusted his nose. With a stupid primal sneer the vulcan yowled of victory loud enough to deafan her. She visibly vexed, forced to let herself stay within the muscle of his grip for the sake of the mission. The world jumped from beneath her  as the king-kong leapt to latch one of the high oak branches, swinging himself  further into the depths of the forest with her in tow.

Post by Sol 10th March 2016, 12:00 am

Sols ears perked when he heard his guild master exclaimed that she had no idea what the beast would do with her now that it caught her and the Slayer rounded towards her before he caught what she was getting at,  even if she was captured Sol could easily track her down as he knew her scent by heart he had made sure to ever since she became guild master in the event something like this ever happened..”I’ll be right there Mistress just let me finish tidying up” he siad with a rather sinister edge to it as he kept his grin on his face. While the one wood vulcan was still recovering from having its eye gouged out Sol decided to capitalize on the other one that was showing the signs of being heavily poisoned and heavily wounded by Panzer.

The slayer lungned at the beast as he body slammed into it and knocked it onto its back before he raised his arms with claws poised to strike before the slayers eyes suddenly sharpened and he went into a frenzy.”DIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIE DIE!” he cackled with  manical glee as he  started to slash wildely at the vulcans face. With one hit he destroyed the beasts left eye and with another he removed its other eye leaving it blind, the vulcan roared in pain and swung wildely but with Sol so close the hits completely bypassed him as the slayer suddenly delivered two more strikes to the apes face leaving it even more mutilated before he decided to fully finish it off.

Preparing his clwas one more time Sol  slashed twice with both sets of claws one diagonal from the left and then another from the right before with both hands the slayer rips his claws down the beats chest ripping it open and spraying him with blood. the slayer grinned even more as he got off the dead vulcan and turned along with Panzer to finish the other vulcan off as the wounded ape let out a very fearful howling to warn any others not to approach.

Post by Sybil 14th March 2016, 7:55 pm

The trip through the trees and forest depths couldn’t have ended a moment sooner. The Vulcan which ‘damsled’ The Guild Master lunged back down to the grass of the woodlands floor, hustling towards a burrow protruding from the ground. Before Famine could bail she was taken down through the cave along with the Vulcan, it’s hive. Once inside, the ape’s grim loosened on her and she leapt out from between its fingers with a cat like agility.

The caves rugged and weary walls stood surrounding her. They seemed so strong yet so beaten from the elements. Cold air filled every corner and warmth seemed to of have never tried to crawl its way in here. Darkness swallowed everything. A normal being may have been infected with worry of the unseen but her Shadow maker talents had their perks; one of which being nocturnal sight allowing her to take in the scene to a lit detail.

She turned around only to stumble not-so-gracefully on the jagged shapes beneath her. As Famine hit the ground she felt the moist dirt waft into her face and sharp rocks and pebbles gouge into her pale skin. She rolled back around, glowering down to see what had tripped her. Some kind of dislocated bone, seemingly snapped into pieces. The way it had been covered in dirt and dust by the cave floor almost made it look to be that of a long rock.

Azure eyes smiled and a devilish smirk unsheathed on her features as she rolled back too look up at the monstrous vulcan looming over her. Now that she was finally at the base... She could make a punching bag out of this ape.

Sol looked at Panzer for a moment before he lunged at the remaining vulcan with his claws outstretched, the vulcan dove to the left but before it could rise again the metal monster that the slayer called a pet was already upon it and delivered two powerful bites to its legs leaving it crippled and unable to walk, the slayer slowly started to walk up to the beast while twirling his sword in his hand a bit and the vulcan seemed to shiver and whimper in fear as it could sense the intent to kill coming from the slayer and it realized that it had chosen the wrong opponent to go against

Sol was only a few feet from the beast before he quickly moved forward and delivered a swift kick to the beasts side to knock it onto its back and he then proceeded to drive Lohengrin into the beasts chest before pulling the blade out and stabbing it twice more in the chest before he finally stuck the sword between the apes eyes and snuffed its life out.”Fucking Boring now to find Mistress Famine” he mumbled before he hopped on Panzer and sheathed his sword after flicking the blood off of it. He sniffed a few times to catch the scent and after a moment he grinned.”Got it Come on Panzer lets go see how bloody that Vulcan is after Mistress finished with it” he said as he patted the beast and it took off towards the Forest Vulcans cave

Despite supposedly being out strengthened by the Vulcan The Guild Master was holding up just fine

--There was a sound like someone snapping into an apple and crimson dribbled down her arm, blade firmly planted into the beast's gut… Her grin seemed sharp enough to slice bones open on their own. She rolled out of the way, sword dissipating as she evaded the fist that hit the ground where she’d lain moments prior. Famine malevolently slunk back onto her feet, a silhouette within the darkness of the cave.

In the Vulcans confusion the shadow magician shifted her torso and twisted a tattooed arm around her back. A Blackish, eerie, glow began to emit itself from her palm and dark shadowy winds spiraled out from her hand. She whirled back around, sweeping her hand in the direction of the Vulcan generating a massive whirlwind. The dumb vulcan didn’t know what hit him, he’d been made air born by her assault, hitting the Cave ceiling before he crashed cranium-first into rocky floor.

Famine couldn’t even stifle back her laughter through the fading dust. A confused joy at the forest vulcan’s pain caused an azure eye to twinge almost maniacally. Foolish.” Famine’s voice hissed to the prey.”What were you thinking bringing me home? Taking me somewhere where I have the advantage?....” Famine laughed, knowing the unintelligent animal had no real way of understanding her words or understand her strength came from darkness, from unlit settings like this  vast cave.

She didn’t even blink, watching the disoriented , injured, and confused Vulcan clamber back onto It’s feet. Azure eyes narrowed in challenge, daring him to come at her.  Her provocation worked and the Vulcan was left in a stubborn, bestial sprint in her direction.

As Sol and Panzer approached the cave the slayer could hear the sounds of blades sinking into flesh and then a crash which made the slayer grin at the sound and vibration of it." Looks like the partys still going on Panzer lets go see if we can find the target while our Mistress is having fun” he said as he hopped off the metal monster and they both entered the cave, Sol took a few breaths and caught the scent of the woman they were looking for or so he guessed as he saw that the cave had more then one room in it and they duo headed towards the direction of the scent.

After a few more moments they saw the woman in question lieing on the ground roughed up but alive and as she saw Panzer she tried to scream but Sol was one step ahead of her.”your not gonna get hurt just stay quiet and get on my pet” Sol said as he touched his sword lightly and used its influence to make her more suggestable and obedient to his commands. With the target not found the demon led the way back towards Famines location thru her scent and Sol grinned when he saw the Guild leader easily taking down the dumb ape.”Mistress Famine I found the woman. Would you care for a hand?” he asked with a small bow to her. He offered her help not because he thought she was weak but he was hoping they would finish this soon and then they could get back to the guild hall and away from town.

She only grinned, not looking away from her target upon Sol's arrival. The ape had already gotten weaker, and Famine knew she could bring him down with one fell swoop. Sapphire hues fell shut as she pressed two fingers together, leveling her hand in front of her while she casted the spell.

     “H̷̞̱̺ͅo̡̘͔͇̬̱̦ṛ͇͞s̮̤e̫̤͘ma̩̬̠̺̯n̷̼̝̤͇̯̞̖'͏͈͚͔̘͕̮̰s̥̖͇̣̺͙͍ ̲̩̝͝B̡̤o̶̲ḑ̱̬̳̙y̳̗̩̟̟̭...”

Her eyes flashed open again as she casted. A white aura suddenly erupted off her, fading into a black glow. She felt stronger, lighter, faster… Gaining all attributes of a peak human.

Famine slid out of the way just as the dumb vulcan charged, leaving the ape to smack right into the cave wall behind her. While the beast regained it’s composure the shadow magi’ lifted her arm in a fourty-five degree angle. Her signature arcane circle was left spinning on the surface of her palm. Prior to giving off a vibrant yet dark glow, anywhere from thirty to forty  rectangular blocks ripped through the surface of the circle, each enveloped in a black shadowy aura. The blocks hurled themselves through the air, coming to strike the Vulcan in rapid succession. Each strike left another bruise, bleeding welt, or scratch on the vulcan and by the time the barrage was over… the beast collapsed.

The guild master eventually dusted off her hands, turning an azure gaze back to Sol.  “Thanks for the offer~ But I’m capable of handling myself.” Famine hummed once she turned back to him. “Now that you’ve found her let’s wrap this up and head home.”
