Deflecting the bolts of lightning that came his way, Ardere stared down his sparring partner. It was not often he got company from Midi, let alone the kind that could train with him. Things had been interesting as of late, with the constant traveling and gaining new members. It was quite hectic in the guild, but there was always time for training. Ducking under a bolt of electricity, he dashed in. Spinning by pivoting his right foot, the fire mage slashed his blade right across the blade of the other man. Knocking his opponent backwards, flames overtook his sword. Knocking the lightning blade aside, his flames emanated across the crimson steel. Seems I've wo- Twirling Clarent between his fingers, the guild master sheathed his sword. Placing his hands on his hips, his nostrils flared for a moment. A very familiar scent crossed his nose, a quite pleasant one. Looking off into the town, he could sense a magical presence growing closer to the guild hall. It would appear my love is back in town, we'll catch up later old friend. Leaping off of the roof of Infinity Hydra, he slid down several of the towers before landing in a rather bulky tree. The magical presence, and scent he was so familiar with was coming from the town surrounding his guild hall. Terra Ignis was a fairly large town, but he knew it well. The villagers regarded him as almost like some sort of Mayor, but he let Enola run the inner workings of the town. 

Landing in the streets, any people who were walking to crowd around his love moved out of the way. Most of them went back to their business, but several watched from their stands and their shops. Taking no time to say any words, Ardere appeared in front of the venom mage, embracing her. Hugging his lady tightly, he laid the side of his head against hers, closing his eyes for a few moments. After giving her a good hug, he ran his fingers through her hair. You changed your hair again, haven't seen it this color before. It's nice. Her hair was not the only thing different, her skin returned to a color he had not remembered it as since they first started dating. Normally her skin had been a pale white like his, but now it had that interesting tint he remembered from a while back. There was nothing wrong with it, it was just a bit different. It's very nice to see you. You and your interesting fashion choices. Cracking a smile, he always liked to note her clothing style. He couldn't say much with his red and black apparel, but it was good to keep his spirits up.  

Keeping her close, Ardere stroked her orange strands of hair a few times. I always know it's you. A lot had changed as of late, but something remained the same. Their relationship had always been an interesting one, but they were happy when they were together and that was all that mattered. Fortunately this was his town, and they could have their moment here in somewhat of a moment of peace. Scoffing at her playfully, he made a scrunched up face at her. Making fun of his armor was not a wise decision, but she always meant it in good fun. You know why I wear it, ya goof. Returning the soft kiss, he had not noticed how much he truly missed her touch until just then. She was very rough around the edges, but his venom lover was quite affectionate when it came down to it. He fought for many reasons, and one of the two biggest ones was standing right in front of him, so of course he would love to be affectionate with her. Narrowing his eyes a bit as she cut herself, he had to restrain himself from preemptively acting upon the situation. His eyes then widened a bit, her blood was not acidic. This was certainly good news for her. It made no difference to him, as he would love her either way, but he was happy for her. She had wanted it for a long time, but he was curious how Malva would react to it. Fortunately, he was too joyful to care. 

That's great! But damn woman, don't cut yourself like that. Giving her a slightly stern look, it turned back into a smile as she healed her own wound. It was a very fortunate day today, but she had much to see in Terra Ignis. You did good. Returning the kiss, he pecked her soft lips several times before twirling her for a moment. Placing his forehead on hers, he let out a deep breath. It's alright, we've both been busy lately. But we should get you back to the hall, I'm sure there's lots of people waiting to bug you, including our little bundle of joy and ashes. Their daughter was one to constantly train, but she did care about her mother, Ardere knew that much. She was an ambitious little girl, but he knew she had a soft spot in there. It would be a good idea to do some visiting, plus he was sure the townspeople were not likely to stop peeping.

Placing a hand on his waist, his eyes narrowed at his love. Ardere let out an agreeable sigh. Alright alright, I'll go with you. He was not wearing any more armor other than his bracers, but that was all he would need on an expedition with Sayrn. Clarent was always by his side, there was no questioning that. But he imagined she was going to get him into some serious trouble, fortunately he loved her anyways. But you need to visit our daughter when you get back. He knew that his wife had plans and aspirations, but their little cinder needed her parents. Fortunately she was mature enough for her age, and could handle her own while they were gone. Most people in the guild caused a ruckus and made a mess, but there were a good few who kept everything in line. If he didn't have them, he wouldn't be able to hold the guild together. Running pale fingers through his thick brown hair, the guild master had no choice other than to follow her lead. Dashing forward, he followed behind the orange haired woman. He had no idea where she was going, but the townspeople watched them as they left. 

Fully zipping up his red jacket, the fire mage matched paces with his love. If you don't mind me asking, where would we happen to be going exactly? This situation certainly matched something the venom mage would do. Come back into town, hug her love, then immediately want to run off on some sort of mission. It made him wonder if things would ever calm down around the guild, and if he ever wanted them to. With her new form, things were certainly different, yet somehow still exactly the same. She may look somewhat different, but she was still the same person. What a day. He couldn't say that he wasn't happy to see her though, he always loved to see his venom queen. It would take some restraint not to constantly hug and kiss her all the way there, but he believed he could do it. Not that she minded, but if they were running into some trouble, it would be in his best interest to keep his senses keen and not focused on her. He was now beginning to regret starting the day off with training, as it seemed more likely he was going to be sore by the end of this.
