Chelvaric was sitting in a bar leaning back on a chair. He was looking at some guys walking in front of them. They were looking mean had big red lips and were blacker then the night. Chelvaric had arrived in this medieval tavern not long ago. It was pretty simple decorated. Normal wooden chairs and tables were set out and some paintings were hang on the brick walls. The   bar counter was more a rude log then a real hand worked structure. For the rest it was finished with candles everywhere and the smoke of the pipe smokers was hanging thick in the bar. It was normally not a place where chelvaric would hang out but they had a service here they didn’t had anywhere else. A fat old waitress came in front of him and threw  a wooden plate in front of him. he didn’t kept his eyes of the guys as they looked like the ones he was searching for. They were lackys from the demon dogs. Humans bought out for magical powers and a place in there new empire of democracy. What a joke like giving voting power would change anything to the barren place Jah’at was.

He threw a hand in the bowl and grabbed a couple of the dead mice that were laying In it. he threw them in his mouth and munched on the little bones that were in them. His teeth were cat like so he culd crunch them easy. They were tasting very good and sweet as they were honey coated. He peacefully ate them up and stoot up walking to the door. They still hadn’t come out and he wasn’t in a mood to keep waiting here for something to happen. If they would stay in there all night then he was going to drag them out and make them talk in stead. He tried to open the old door but it was locked. The patron looked at him but Chelvaric threw a powerful look at him showing he wouldn’t back down even if the guy tried anything. The barman hided after his counter and Chelvaric kicked the door in. walking trough the hallway now as he was searching for them. But there was nothing there just another door leading to the garden. It could be that they used this to throw suspicion of them.

Well he didn’t find them here maybe he could find them where they were heading too. But first he had to pick up a old girl again. Well actualy she was a little girl with pink hair. But he helped her when the mad scientists broke free in the zoo in clover town. So he knew her well and he could use her help in this little job. If he took these out he could maybe find the guy who was selling weapons to the demon resistance in fiore. If they could find him a lot of trouble could be conveyed away from the nekotamia war. He arrived at a street corner near the wedding party and waited for her there.

The small pink letter in her hands glistened from all the excessive amount of glitter used in its decoration. The golden border combined with the elegant style of the text was more than enough to know it was a wedding invitation. However, this was quite surprising for the pink haired girl who had woken up only moments ago to the familiar hullabaloo of her guild, Sabertooth. Now, the strangeness began here. Valerie was not of their world, or well, the world she currently lived in. She belonged to the great, ancient Arcadia that housed angels and Gods along with normal humans. She was forced to come down to this world because she decided to put an end to everything back there. Besides, it had only been a couple of months since she moved in and had no particular friends that she was close to. So where exactly did this invitation come from?

She grasped the piece of paper tighter, scanning over the bold letters of their names. No, she couldn’t remember them and Eclipse had a perfect memory that never failed her. If she had heard these names before, she would definitely know. But, along with the invitation, there was also another piece of letter. Carefully hidden to the back of the envelop, Eclipse didn’t notice it at all and would have completely missed it if she had not accidently dropped the cover. It was a request to protect their wedding from getting crashed. The handwriting seemed to be that of a woman’s. So the bride must have personally written the letter herself out of fear. She seems to be scared of her ex-boyfriend whom she broke up with to marry this person. It was also included in small red ink that this person was very dangerous. So in the end, this invitation to a wedding was nothing but an invitation to trouble.

After carefully regarding her choices as whether to show up or not, she lazily flunked the letter back on her bed before walking to the small closet she and her roommate shared. As the wooden door opened, she immediately turned to the left where a very small portion of her clothes and other necessities were placed as compared to the large area that her roommate took to keep her clothes and stuff in. It was stuffed with pricy designer clothes and shoes and the sight of it every day got Eclipse sighing. She should find a better roommate.

After a long time debating with herself, Valerie picked up a small pink and black dress which was at the far left end and a pair of black shoes before closing the door behind her. It took her no more than thirty minutes to get ready. Leaving her face with not a single bit of makeup, she walked out with a rather bored expression. She wanted nothing so much as to stay inside and maybe sleep or read a book. She also had to practice singing since it was one thing she could never go without even for a day.

But after picking up the invitation, Valerie used the teleportation lacrima to transport herself to Rose Garden. That day, for some reason, Rose Garden seemed quieter than usual. Could it be that everyone had gone to the wedding? She wondered and turned the last corner towards the small church she was instructed to go to. And surprisingly enough, what she thought of actually turned out to be true as well. The whole of Rose Garden was attending their wedding and in the middle of all those people gathered around, Eclipse stuck out like a sore thumb because of her simple little dress.

The pink and black dress she wore had little to no decorations on them. Except for a pink ribbon tied around the chest part, the dress was pretty simple. But the suppressed giggles and chuckles from around her made her wonder whether the sleeveless dress had made her look a lot more like a child than usual. Well, it shouldn’t bother her so much in the first place. She noticed a few girls staring at her hair from the far corner and immediately ducked behind the crowd and started walking towards where the bride would be at that moment.

When she noticed Eclipse, the bride immediately rose from her seat and came to her with a large bouquet of flowers. After almost crushing her with a hug, she spoke of how happy she was to see her. “Oh thank God! I was worried that you wouldn’t attend. Where is your partner? I thought I sent the invitation to two of Sabertooth wizards,” she gave Eclipse a puzzled look to which she shrugged. She didn’t see anyone in the guild with the same invitation she received. “Who was it addressed to?” her voice broke the silence. “Ah! It was to someone named Chelvaric. I think she is your guild master’s boyfriend,” the woman chimed, her eyes glowing with some sort of admiration. She knew she was getting married that day, didn’t she?

Shaking her head disapprovingly at the woman, Eclipse turned away after promising her that she would protect the church and make sure things went smoothly. The woman gave her a photo of the young man she was talking about and hastily pushed her out the door after muttering something like, ‘be careful, he is not a simple person’. Valerie had to wonder why the woman repeated that again. She remembered the warning in the invitation letter and now she is hearing it from herself?

Eclipse kept the thoughts away and slowly walked out of the church, keeping her head low so no one would notice her. If her partner for the mission was Chelvaric, he was probably on his way and might have found their target already too. She crumpled the photo she was given tightly in her hands before throwing it away. After all, she needed not see him more than once to remember him for the rest of her life. And this man along with his friends are somewhere around that church. She had to find them before they could do anything to crash it.

Chelvaric was standing in half naked on the corner of the street waiting for his partner that didn’t seem to show up. he was standing at a church but it was rather quiet in this part of the town. He wondered why no one was here yet. Or was he at the wrong location. He looked at the invitation and noticed that there was a big church on the map and a small one more down the map. He face palmed and cursed as he had to go to the other side of the town now. He sighed and pushed his hand through his blond hair. Nothing worse than making a mistake he guessed it was all worse enough that people were staring at him for his special wedding customs. He was wearing normal long black trousers with two metal plates on the top of his legs. He wasn’t wearing any clothes on his chest but his body was painted with all kind of tattoos of tribal cats and religious rituals.
He sighed as another couple pasted walking toward the other side. He thought about hikari and their wedding together. He wanted it to be grand. It would be held in the biggest church of nekotamia. All of the city would be in festivities as the two heroes of the city state were gone get married. Well they weren’t completely heroes yet but they did stop a huge part of the army going trough. He just had to stop the weapon providing to them before they could prepare their defenses for the city as the dog army was walking trough the marshes of slime. There portal put them to far from the city to make a direct attack. Plus they don’t know yet if the portal will open again or not wich makes it easier for them to make them wait before they attack. If they could gather the remaining troops that were fighting the demons in this world and went to nekotamia in time they could beat the whole dog army in one decisive battle.
He sighed as he walked around the corner all in thought but that changed quickly as he saw the guys from before and he jumped against the wall. They didn’t see him luckily. He trailed behind the bushes of the road. He ducked down on his two feet and followed them while they walked to somewhere. He wondered where they going to. Where they going to there contact partner the one he needed to find so bad. As the minutes passed they walked past countless closed shops that weren’t open anymore for that night. As everyone was to the wedding. But surprisingly enough they were headed to the church where everyone was. So they weren’t planning on a secret meeting but why were they hear then. Although they suddenly went to a small alley in the side of the road. He followed and pressed against the wall hearing them stop and greeting someone.

“do you have the shipment ready. The bos wont keep waiting”, a more inhuman demon voice asked to the newcomer that chelvaric couldn’t see yet. One of them made sounds like he was getting ready to fight one but he heard a smack and then a normal boys voice. Didn’t sound like he was that old yet wich was not that good. Because he would fight irattionatly now and more into his emotions then his spells. He didn’t even know what magic the guy was gona use. Evryhting was a question but he had to fight them before it was to late.
“the shipment is ready so help me take down this wedding before its finished. There all gathered around the church so it shouldn’t be hard to take them down and end it. just leave the girl alone. Say to your boss that I added a little token of appreciation for his patience. Now lets get started you guys go ahead I will go around and open the front doors while you all go in the back. Ill see you there.”, the presumably ex boy friend of the groom. The other ones were walking the other way as he heard the guy coming closer to him. Chelvaric pushed him against the wall trying to stay out of range as much as he could. The guy all dressed up as a thug and covering his face was passing him by. He was stinking harder then he ever had smelled. He prepared to fight him.
He started to sneak up in his back and jumped on him when he was close enough. The man didn’t know what happened as he threw his arms around his throat and started strangeling him. The struggle between two men was long and exhausting. As Chelvaric closed his robot arms tighter around the man the more he closed around the air pipe of the man the more of a crushing sound was heard. But the guy was elbow punching chelvaric as much as he could trying to get out of his grip. He could feel the hard punches in his side and he cursed as it was punching the air out of his longues. But he wouldn’t loose his grip. Till he suddenly felt a force pushing them up. the guy had used his magic on the ground. Chelvaric got thrown against the wall and pushed himself off. he started to cast a spell but the enemy threw a sort of wind blade against his body and the spell stopped. Damid he lost his big engine to push him forward now. This was bed. How could he just dispel his magic. He cursed and jumped towards him. He dodged a upper cut and the hit the guy in the stomach inserting nano bots. He then kicked his leg in the guys stomach and grabbed his head punching it against the wall next to him. But he pushed him off from the wall and jumped in chelvarics stomach lifting him up and throwing him on the ground. The air was hit out of his stomach and he was then hit in his face by the guys fist. But then he started to shout out. Chelvaric laughed and kicked the persons leg under him away. “can you feel my nano bots eat you away. Tell me where the weapons are and youll live.”, chelvaric said to him to show some mercy to the human. “never will I let my girl marry someone else get out of my way.”, the man shouted and jumped to chelvaric. He jumped to the side and grabbed the mans arm he broke it by pushing his elbow against the mans arm. he then grabbed both his legs and made a whirling movement. After going around a couple of time he let the guy loose and he crashed into a wall. Pein went to look at him and saw his head twisted in a way he never saw before. Well to bad he was dead. Now he just had to kill the other ones before they reached the party.
He was running trough the crowed to the next small ally as they were sneaking around the party to attack in the back. Instead of following he summond his black armor suit. He had a black cape while he transformed in a robot. In his hands was a machine gun. He vanished from his spot and appeared on the roofs. He ran over them before jumping down in the middle of the enemy. He activate his charged gloves and filled the corridors between the buildings with nano bots. He snapped his fingers and evryting blew up in a inferno of fire. Most of them were knocked down on the floor but three of them burning and wounded ran to the party. Well his partner had to deal with them. “all of you up your knees and against the wall. Don’t try anything funny or ill shoot you”, he said to them. He waited for the to crawl up to the wall before he continued speaking. “now the first one that says where the weapons are will be kept alive. Now talk or die.”, chelvaric said. The guys where grunting and shouting they wouldn’t say anything. Chelvaric sighed as they hadn’t lisend at all. He aimed at the first mans head and shot him dead splatting the blood against the wall. Again nobody talked he shot the next one. And then the next one. One of the men jumped up and ran away but pein disappeared stabbed the man in the back and went back where he was standing a second later a ecplosion accured and he died. “okay okay I tell you. We hid the wepons in a hole out side of the city go to the bridge and wollk til two rocks next to each other there we hid them don’t shoot me okay I didn’t do anything wrong.”, the man cried out. Chelvaric sighed well ofcourse he didn’t do wrong they never do anyhitng wrong. He aimed and shot him trough the head. They will never learn that traitors don’t desrve any mercy. He sighed deep and walked away from the scene to where the weapon stack was. Well he never saw his guild friend but atleast he killed all of them. He wondered if she killed the three ones. Well she would be fine she was a capable girl.

No one was here. The bride had clearly told her that she had also invited another Sabertooth mage for this request. She had also told her it was Chelvaric. Then, just where exactly was he? She walked around the church, keeping her head down and looking up only when she heard questionable sounds. But, she had completed this same round three times already and nothing out of the ordinary had happened yet. The people scattered around was socializing, artificial laughter filled the air as they complimented one another for the sake of formality. Valerie didn’t understand the rich people in this world. Arcadia had this difference too but instead of money, the divide came with the ones that had angel’s blood in them and the normal ones that didn’t. The ones with special powers abused the ordinary while a very few used it for the best. But most unfortunately, the ones responsible for it all simply watched as the situation boiled over with no damage taken. The angels abandoned them after a while and the Gods just amused themselves. That was till her own power awakened and she decided to put an end to their tyranny. Sure, it backfired on her a little but so far, it seemed Arcadia returned to its peaceful state.

The sound of something breaking alerted Eclipse as she was passing through the church’s garden. When she rushed over to there, she saw pieces of shattered glasses on the floor and sighed. False alarm, she thought and walked away, still waiting for something to happen. “Where is that cat like man?” she asked herself again, plopping down on a chair she just saw in a corner. The wedding was just about to commence. She could already hear the music and rush of people into the church. The bride herself was arriving while the groom had already taken his place in front of the priest. The priest had a bible in his hands and kept looking at it every now and then, no questions asked or answers given. The groom’s family stood to a side, worried look cast over them like a shadow but they still smiled to hide their nervousness. She guessed that they were aware of this ex boyfriend predicament as well. Even the groom’s face was pale. They should trust Sabertooth mages a bit more, she thought and turned away from the wedding, walking out of the church and taking a path away from it. She was going to go around the church once for.

After walking for about fifteen minutes, Eclipse heard the sound of something breaking again. Thinking it was a false alarm again, she did not turn around this time but when the sound followed another one, she turned around and followed it only to see three men running towards her. They looked slightly panicked and slightly aggravated. In the end, they started using their fire magic to set things on fire, causing some of the guests to start screaming in terror. One of them was laughing hard. Another was starting to curse someone, saying if it wasn’t for that cat, they could have got everything going their way or something along those lines? The word cat caught her attention the most. Did Chelvaric already deal with some of them? She wondered as she walked over to them and tapped one of them on the shoulder.

“What?” was the immediate reply as the red haired man turned to look at Eclipse. “Do you want to be fried as well?” his scornful voice rang out as a ball of fire appeared on his right hand. The others smirked in response and immediately activated their own spells.

“I have a very simple question for you,” she told them as she circled the man, irritating him further with her indifferent attitude. “Did you see a blonde guy with cat like features?” when she finished the questions, a string of curses were the first to follow and then one of them tried to punch her, their eyes wide and face red with anger.

“That cat destroyed all of our plans!” they screamed, launching an attack on her again. But Valerie dodged them with ease, twirling out of their reach.

“So you guys did see him,” she concluded, activating her own magic. Music blared in the background as she felt power rise within her. The rhythm of her movement increased as she tapped her feet to the ground and used it to dance out of the men’s reach. “Storm of Roses,” she started, raising her hands elegantly as if praying to the invisible Gods above. “Create the Ultimate Whirlpool,” as she created a tornado of sharp rose petals around the men, cutting through their defences and magic. The rose petals danced cruelly around them, drawing blood wherever it pierced. It rose to the sky, came down, and like blades, whirled around them again and again. Whenever they tried to get away, the petals created a slashing wall that threw them back. Soon, they were screaming in agony, and as the rose petals dispersed after some time, leaving the other two unconscious. Sound of awe and gasps filled the air from behind her followed by the sound of clapping and cheering. It seemed that she had done the impossible for a midget like herself because everyone was staring at her with amazement. The groom too looked happy and relieved now that his wedding had no more hindrance. Even the bride soon rushed over, engulfing her in a quick hug and kisses while the families too expressed their gratitude for the help. Soon, the wedding began.

When all was said and done, the wedding was in full swing, and Chelvaric was nowhere to be seen in the church. Where was he? Now, the bride, the groom and even their families were genuinely happy, enjoying the wedding to the maximum. Soon, the priest started saying a few things about commitment and happiness that Valerie paid very little attention to. None of them was realistic anyway. Life was a mix of happiness and sadness and not everyone would get over them without any damage. Just love and trust will sometimes prove to be insufficient too. It was more important to have strength and belief in yourself and the ability to solve problems, she thought and walked away. As the music blared behind her and the people started rising up in their festive mood, Valerie was already walking out of the church. Some people met with her as she walked away and thanked her for keeping the wedding safe while some still stared at her in amazement. But through the whispers and other words of praise, Valerie simply tried to find someone close to the bride. She told one of the people present there to have the bride send the rewards for herself as well as Chelvaric later. More importantly, she had to find that cat and get more details from him if possible. Why did those guys seem so scared of him and just exactly what plan of theirs did he spoil? Well, it was a long walk towards the guild. Surely, she will have enough time to ponder about it.
