Meilin is often regarded as a piece of Xiao Jing's psyche that was given a concrete form and intelligence, since her personality is just as mischievously chaotic as her master. Though it hasn't been long since their first meeting, Meilin easily adapts to Jing's mannerisms and lifestyle, even going as far as to devise her own 'gags' when her master is too lazy to plan for himself. She also shares Jing's passion for explosives, a quirk that has manifested in both her magic and her taste for thrills. Unlike her master, however, Meilin seems rather fond of exposing herself to luxury whenever she can, opting for gourmet cat-food and imported bath bombs - much to the dismay of Xiao Jing's pockets.
Needless to say, one could argue that the exceed is far too spoiled for her own good, but she's only ever affectionate in the presence of her master. Any outsider is likely to be treated coldly or aggressively, especially towards grown women.
Abilities:

✖SPEECH: Like all other exceeds, Meilin is fluent in the common language shared through out Fiore, but is also capable at understanding some foreign languages to a certain degree.
✖FLIGHT: Her wings are perfectly functional, as she'd say so herself.
✖SQUEEZE: A small space for Meilin is a wonderful location for a long nap, and thankfully, her body is flexible enough to breeze through the tight squeeze, which is a common trait in most domesticated cats.
✖STITCH: Should the situation call for it, Meilin may induce a portion of her stored magic to flawlessly seam a costume or disguise to her master's liking for anyone within a 5 meter vicinity (max 10 people), though the clothes aren't permanent and will eventually disappear once they are manually removed from their bodies, or should Jing will Meilin to dispose of them himself. If the disguise extends towards physical appearance such as hair color of facial structure, this ability may only last 10 posts once per thread, and can only be used on a single target.
✖ILLUMINATE: Meilin may handcraft several glowing jack-o-lanterns, which may range from any size up to 5 meters. These jack-o-lanterns give off a warm, comforting glow for up to 10 meters around them, and may last up to 12 hours unless squashed. They will always float up to 5 meters above the ground unless smacked downwards, violently.
✖MANIFEST: As a self-proclaimed practitioner of witchcraft, Meilin is able to conjure illusions cut from liquid shadow. These can range from changing the scenery of a landscape or the physical appearance of an object. Using Manifest, however, is physically strenuous to maintain for the exceed, and should it be used for more than 5 posts, the illusion will begin to fade and waver until it disappears. The range and extent of the ability is similar to the maximum range of Xiao Jing's current rank.

Description: Meilin has a strong affinity with autumn colors, especially the orange-based tones. Whether or not her fondness for Jing stems from his hair color eludes no one in particular, but her love for autumn is nicely weaved into her abilities in the form of glowing, magical pumpkins that burst into flames on impact. Once activated, a certain crowd of targets in a circular area (30 meters in diameter) are immediately showered in explosive pumpkins, raining from a very faint magic circle above them (15 meters above the ground). These pumpkins travel at a speed of 15 m/s and deal 50% C-rank damage to each target respectively.
Pumpkin Patch may also induce a temporary 1 post Scorched Status to all enemies below or equal to Xiao Jing's rank should Meilin roll a successful Hit Die, where the amount of targets affected is equivalent to a normal die roll times two. The status makes them 10% more sensitive to flames (making all flame-based spells gain a 10% damage boost to these targets). Should the targets already have a resistance against flames, the status is instead nulled.
Strengths:
✖Best works against large groups and when Jing is in need of a quick CC.
Weaknesses:
✖Without a distraction, the targets may easily evade the circle if they have enough speed to aid their escape.
✖The spell may be avoided with shields, barriers, and water spells aimed directly at the magic circle.

Description: Meilin relishes in the nights where she may freely boast of her days training at a prestigious witchcraft academy. Though the full extent of her power has dwindled because of some unknown circumstances, she is still able to cast some spells were which once partials of better, more powerful spells - curses, as the witches would call it.
A Cat's Luck is a type of minor 'curse' who's effects are entirely random, but is always in favor of the caster and can only affect a single target. The curse may induce 1 of the available 6 negative status effects, which is determined by the result of a normal die:
Strengths:1 The target is unable to see anything for 1 post. 2 The target is unable to move their lower body for 1 post. 3 The target is unable to move their upper body for 1 post. 4 The target forgets what they were doing for 1 post (with OOC permission). 5 The target is distracted by a random object in the vicinity for 1 post (with OOC permission). 6 The target becomes extremely allergic to cats for 1 post.
✖The statuses are all against the target, so nothing ill should befall unto the caster.
Weaknesses:
✖Because of the spell's nature of being random, it might not actually go out as intended.
✖The duration leaves no room for error, and whatever follow-up must be executed quickly and spontaneously.
