    Description:
The ancient Kitsune race is a race which has an abundance of magic talent. Due to both their desire and tendency to be unique, each and every one of them, that magic talent also branches out in a wide variety of ways. Most of those magic types, however, eventually return to what Kitsune are known and infamous for: trickery and deception. While approached from countless different angles, most Kitsune are not too enthusiastic about actual combat. Instead they prefer to get what they want without having to exert themselves, and so they develop magic that would allow them to manipulate others into doing their bidding, that would allow them to kill others without ever having to worry about being caught, that would allow them to escape any danger safely, that would allow them to live luxurious, easy lives.

The magic used by Kurobara Itori, one of the last of the Kitsune, is one of the most basic types of deception magics that the Kitsune race developed. She never was the most talented, having made up for lack of talent by focusing on something that she could grasp, and refining it so that she could at least use it efficiently. This magic is based on the basic tricks all Kitsune can grasp with barely any effort, but most eventually pass by because they want to learn something more suited for them personally. Smoothly crafted illusions, influencing the hearts of others, manipulating spirits, and the special spirit flame of the foxes, Kitsunebi. As somebody who is not too fond of direct conflict Itori mostly focuses on trying to either staying unknown as an enemy, or making the enemy unwilling to attack her. That is not to say, however, that she doesn't also know some tricks for if actual combat is necessary.

    Strengths:

    • Non-elemental: all of Itori's magic is based upon spirit, and thus falls outside of the elemental spectrum. Even her Kitsunebi, which give the appearance of being flames, are actually an ability of spirit, and can not be devoured by Fire Slayers, be they Dragon, God, or Demon. If a Soul Slayer were to ever appear she would be in trouble, but until that time, Itori's spirit based magic is unaffected by effects which only focus on elemental magic.
    • Simple: Itori's magic is both simple and complex. It is complex because it requires one to be able to think up and form elaborate illusions. It is simple because creating complex illusions mostly requires creativity: the magic itself isn't that difficult. That means that even if she's in a situation where she doesn't have much time to prepare or focus she can still cast her spells (note: this is easy for Itori, who is a Kitsune. For a human trying to learn Spirit Fox magic would be extremely difficult, because they lack the innate ability).
    • Non-combat: Spirit Fox magic is not focused on combat. In fact, it mostly is useful to avoid direct conflict, using tricks and deception to work ways around it. That said, Spirit Fox is also useful in situations outside of direct conflict: one does not have to be in a fight to have a use out of deceiving others, or manipulating them to get what you want. Itori personally isn't that big on that last part, but she is capable of it, should the need arise.
    • Subtle: as a type of magic focused on spirit and illusions, Spirit Fox magic lacks the flashiness that most other types of magic possess. At least, as long as the user of the magic doesn't want it to be flashy. This makes it harder to detect that the magic is even being used if Itori is trying to keep it hidden, making it both useful in situations where stealth is necessary and non-conflict situations where it would be bad if others found out you were using it.
    • Empowerment: one of the more direct ways of using Spirit Fox magic is to enhance one's own body, allowing Itori to temporarily perform impressive feats.

    Weaknesses:

    • Weak: Spirit Fox magic, while having a lot of utility and subtle uses, lacks raw power. Itori doesn't like using it in direct conflict with other mages partially because she knows it's unlikely that she can match their spells in strength. She prefers the more tricky approach, but Spirit Fox magic also partially forces that approach to be used.
    • Environment: a type of magic which focuses on illusions and spirit is a type of magic aimed at targets which can be influenced by such matters. Humans and animals, and other entities which are self-aware or semi-aware, are good targets for Itori. However her magic doesn't do much against an obstacle like, say, a magic barrier which can't be tricked or deceived.
    • Elemental: Spirit Fox magic is spirit based magic, and thus non-elemental. This means it's good against effects which only affect elemental magic. However there are plenty of ways in which elemental magic also has an advantage over non-elemental magic: one element counters another, sometimes a certain element is needed to accomplish a goal. Non-elemental is both an advantage and a disadvantage.
    • Complex: while the magic itself is not complicated at all (for a Kitsune), the requirements for being able to use the magic are a lot more complex than average. For one thing, one has to be a Kitsune. For the other, illusions require an abundance of creativity to use properly. If one can't imagine the illusion that they want to use in detail, they can't cast the illusion correctly either. Thus users of Spirit Fox magic are vulnerable to effects that befuddle their mind so they can't use their creativity correctly.
    • Recognizable: Spirit fox magic is a type of magic which can be quite subtle and hard to detect. On the other hand it is distinctly different from most other types of magic. Somebody who has been able to catch it once will have an easy time recognizing it the next time they notice it, and since Itori is currently the only one who uses Spirit Fox magic that means that they can recognize Itori's handiwork.
    • Manipulation: not everybody is too happy knowing that they've been manipulated, and magic only makes it worse. Itori normally only manipulates those who she needs to manipulate, but if they somehow resist the manipulation or realize it afterwards they'll very quickly become distrustful of the Kitsune.

    Lineage:

    Kitsune Descendancy, the Vulpine Siren:
    Wielder: Itori
Description: Born over seven thousand of years ago the Triplets belonged to a race of people known as the Kitsune. A race that had physical traits of a fox. The triplets are the only remain survivors of said race. But because of the one of the sister being genetically perfect the Kitsune race is not considered dead. This comes from the fact that the perfect genes the one sister possesses can override all genetic traits of another race. Meaning anyone she chooses to mate with will only produce pure Kitsune. The remaining two sister’s jobs are to protect this one individual at all cost, which is something that is harder to do considering their personalities.

Itori is in some ways both the most fortune and the most unlucky of the three sisters. Whether through luck or skill, she avoided all disasters in her millennia long travels. However all her attempts at reuniting with her sisters have been fruitless up until now, and where both her sisters developed fearsome abilities she only showed promise with the more basic techniques all Kitsune learn before they begin to find their own talent. However lack of talent does not halt her, as she shows a frightening determination to once again be with her sisters and help them. Neither heaven nor hell could make this silent Kitsune falter.

Three as One: Each sister is naturally stronger and healthier than normal humans, this comes in the form of a 10% increase in hp and a 1% HP regen per post. If other sisters are present in the thread then they gain an additional 10% increase in HP and 1% increase in HP regen per post. This ability may stack with others of its kind.

Alter Forms: Like all Kitsune Itori has two forms that she can use, switching from one to another without effort and nearly instantly.

Fox Form: Itori's offensive spells return magic power if they hit a target which also possesses magic power, depending on the Rank of the spell. D-Rank spells return 1% magic power, each Rank above that adding another 1% (so D=1%, C=2%, etc). If the target is a living being, but either have lost all their magic or had no magic power to begin with, their life force is instead taken. The target loses the same amount of magic/life as Itori receives, although for each Rank that they are below Itori the amount is doubled and for each Rank that they are above Itori the amount is halved.
Human Form: Itori's spells become 50% more effective/powerful. Illusions and manipulation based spells act as if they are from the next rank, capped at S-Rank.

Unbreakable Bonds: When Itori is standing within one yard of her sisters she can enhance their powers, in the process receiving some bonuses in return.

Iniki: Every post Itori can drain 5% strain from Iniki, allowing her sister to cast more spells before her body can no longer handle the feedback. Itori herself gains 5% magic power whenever she does this.
Izayoi: Itori can reduce the amount of Vital Force required for Izayoi to summon her Legions, reducing the cost by 1 Vital Force for each soul used. When Izayoi summons a Legion while making use of this effect Itori also receives the passive bonuses granted by that Legion.

    Unique Abilities:

    • Trickster Spirit: as somebody whose magic focuses on manipulating and using spirit, Itori can sense souls in the same range as she can sense magic. Itori's own magic can be sensed at half the normal range. Sensing souls is heavily dependant on Itori's state of mind: if she is stressed or distracted she can't focus enough.
    • Fox Sense: when in Fox Form Itori's hearing and sense of smell are sharpened (40% boost). In Human Form this bonus is decreased to 20%. This also grants Itori the ability to see clearly at low light intensity in both forms.
    • Healthy Soul: Itori passively shares her vitality with those whose soul she has managed to connect to (read: friends/allies), granting them an Endurance buff of 4%. This buff increases by 2% for each Rank, and an additional 2% for each Rank above A-Rank. This buff comes into effect once an ally has been within 10 (+5 per Rank) yards from Itori for longer than one post, and the buff is immediately lost once they get outside that range.

    Spells:

    D-Rank:

    Spirit Dash:

    Name:
    Spirit Dash
    Rank:
    D-Rank
    Type:
    Spirit (non-elemental)/Utility
    Duration:
    Instant
    Cooldown:
    2 posts
    Description:
    “Yakushinki”

Itori suffuses herself with energy, allowing her to execute a single burst of fast movement, solely used to quickly move from one location to the other. During this dash Itori's physical form fades, making it harder for purely physical attacks to harm her. Has a maximum range of 30 yards. Movement speed during dash is 60 yards/second.
    Strengths:

    • During the dash physical damage is reduced by 25%.
    • Allows for Itori to quickly cover a reasonable large distance.
    • Itori can immediately act after the dash is finished.

    Weaknesses:

    • During the dash magical damage is increased by 25%.
    • Itori's speed makes it hard for her to react to enemy activities which begin to happen after she has already begun dashing and which she didn't anticipate.
    • While her physical form is somewhat faded out Itori still is fully blocked by physical obstacles and has to follow the terrain.
    • Requires a couple of seconds of preparation time, and Itori has to be able to move freely (she can't just suddenly surge forwards if she's bound).

    Kitsunebi:

    Name:
    Kitsunebi
    Rank:
    D-Rank
    Type:
    Spirit (non-elemental)/Utility
    Duration:
    2 posts
    Cooldown:
    3 posts
    Description:
    “Kitsunebi”

Itori creates nine foxfires, small blue flames which circle around her. She can control these flames freely, and they can be used for a multitude of purposes. Their luminosity can be increased or decreased, so they can either be hidden or used to light the way. If Itori wills it she can also send these flames into an ally to grant them 1% magic power for each flame (all flames together grant 10%). The last purpose is offensive, as while the flames are actually spirit based manifestations they can still to some extent imitate the effects of actual flames.
    Strengths:

    • If all the flames hit the same target they deal D-Rank spirit (non-elemental) damage.
    • The flames are actually formed from spirit, and as a result no Slayer of any kind can eat them.
    • Can be used for a wide variety of purposes.
    • If Itori aims the flames at somebody (either to grant them magic or to attack them) the flames have a slight homing effect.
    • If Itori sends her Kitsunebi into her sister Iniki instead of granting magic it reduces her strain by the same amount.

    Weaknesses:

    • Itori can only control the flames if they stay within 10 yards of her. Any further than that and she would have to launch them, and if they fly farther than 20 yards away from her they dissipate.
    • Controlling all the flames at the same time takes some real effort. Most of the time Itori will have them orbiting herself while she uses one to three of them.
    • The attack power of these flames is rather low: all nine of them are necessary to deal D-Ranked damage.
    • Even when at their dimmest, the Kitsunebi are still flames, and will still retain some measure of luminosity. Hidden in this case is more of a subjective term.
    • Kitsunebi is rather strongly distinctive. Anybody who notices them knows that Itori is nearby.
    • While the flames gain a slight homing effect when Itori targets somebody with them, they won't move around obstacles and the homing effect is, as noted, slight. If the target abruptly moves sideways the flames will miss.
    • If used to restore energy to the target, amount of magic power restored is halved for each Rank above D-Rank.

    Minor Illusion:

    Name:
    Minor Illusion
    Rank:
    D-Rank
    Type:
    Spirit (non-elemental)/Utility
    Duration:
    2 posts
    Cooldown:
    3 posts
    Description:
    “Kogeneiki”

One of the most basic (and useful) spells, Itori uses her magic to create a fake image, which she can see through but nobody else unless they possess the required abilities to realize that it is an illusion. This fake image can be anything Itori can think of, although there is a limit to the size, and there's a limit to how detailed Itori can make it because of the focus required.
    Strengths:

    • There is no set image: whatever is created is what Itori thought up. The possibilities are theoretically endless.
    • The word image has been used, but if Itori remembers to do so she can also add sound and smell.
    • Without any ability to detect or see through illusions it is very difficult for somebody to not treat it as real.
    • Itori can change the shape of the image while it's active, although of course if she does somebody might notice.

    Weaknesses:

    • The image can't be bigger than a large animal. Say, eye-I mean size of a tiger.
    • Any illusion created with this ability is non-corporeal: anybody who actually touches it will notice that it goes right through them.
    • If Itori can't think of it, she can't create it. This mostly means that she can't just take vague descriptions from others and make them realistic.
    • People at D-Rank can't see through the illusion without a special ability. People at C-Rank have a roughly 50% chance to notice that something is off. People at B-Rank have 75% chance. Anything above that automatically knows it's an illusion (exception maybe if they're surprised by it so for a brief moment they don't realize it).
    • Itori has to maintain the illusion consciously, and the maximum distance from her is 20 yards. She is also the one who controls the illusion, so the illusion can't react to something that Itori can't notice.

    Spirit Mend:

    Name:
    Spirit Mend
    Rank:
    D-Rank
    Type:
    Spirit (non-elemental)/Supportive
    Duration:
    Instant
    Cooldown:
    5 posts
    Description:
    “Tamamonoki”

An ability which actually is not that common for Spirit Fox magic, Itori can upon touch have a flow of spirit enter the target, invigorating them and causing their body to begin regenerating itself at a fast pace. This spell also counteracts the negative effects that increased regeneration sometimes causes, most notably that somebody who is healed by this does not die of old age earlier (basically, the cycles that the cells go through to regenerate the body are refunded)
    Strengths:

    • The regenerative effect itself is not magical in nature, and thus can not be dispelled after the spell has been cast.
    • Spirit Mend grants the target an additional 3% health regen for three posts, resulting in a total of 9% health restored.
    • The cooldown of this ability starts at the moment of casting, not at the end of the regeneration (reason being, the spell actually starts and ends in the same post. The effects of the spell just last for three posts after that).
    • Due to the magic used acting more as a way to transmit a command instead of acting as fuel for the healing the effects are the same for mages of every Rank.
    • Because it makes the body restore itself rather than try to fix it from the outside, Spirit Mend can't make a mistake that wouldn't happen if the body was allowed to restore itself (no, really, it can't. Anybody try to work their way around this to make their wounds appear more special gets overruled by common sense).

    Weaknesses:

    • Itori has to touch the target to be able to use this ability.
    • If the body can't heal itself, Spirit Mend can't do it either. It only encourages and empowers the regenerative abilities already inside a body. This includes lack of ability to return limbs.
    • Target must have a soul. Spirit Mend affects the body, but it uses the soul as a medium to get to the body.
    • While the regenerative effect itself is not magical, just enhanced natural regeneration, casting Spirit Mend can't be done if magic is being blocked.
    • Seeing how it's an effect that takes a while to show its full power, it isn't as good in situations where somebody really just needs to get some of their health back instantly.
    • Because the effect counts as additional health regen instead of actually healing the target, it can’t be used to surpass the 15% health regen limit.

Itori creates nine foxfires, small blue flames which circle around her. She can control these flames freely, and they can be used for a multitude of purposes. Their luminosity can be increased or decreased, so they can either be hidden or used to light the way. If Itori wills it she can also send these flames into an ally to grant them 1% magic power for each flame (all flames together grant 10%) [color=teal]However, i feel 10% MP to 10%MP is a bit much so please reduce this to 8%.

    • Spirit Mend grants the target an additional 5% health regen for three posts, resulting in a total of 15% health restored. I think...this is a bit too much. Please reduce to 3%
    • The cooldown of this ability starts at the moment of casting, not at the end of the regeneration (reason being, the spell actually starts and ends in the same post. The effects of the spell just last for three posts after that). Hmmm...I will allow it to start cooling down in the second post of the effect (rather than straight away) or have a five post cooldown

Firstly in spirit dash weaknesses you are missing the end list tag hence why an extra one has been added at the bottom Smile

    Description:
The ancient Kumiho race was a race which had an abundance of magic talent. Due to both their desire and tendency to be unique, each and every one of them, that magic talent also branched out in a wide variety of ways. Most of those magic types, however, eventually returned to what Kumiho are known and infamous for: trickery and deception. While approached from countless different angles, most Kumiho were not too enthusiastic about actual combat. Instead they preferred to get what they want without having to exert themselves, and so they developed magic that would allow them to manipulate others into doing their bidding, that would allow them to kill others without ever having to worry about being caught, that would allow them to escape any danger safely, that would allow them to live luxurious, easy lives.

The magic used by Itori Burakkurõzu, one of the last of the Kumiho, is one of the most basic types of deception magics that the Kumiho race developed. She never was the most talented, having made up for lack of talent by focusing on something that she could grasp, and refining it so that she could at least use it efficiently. This magic is based on the basic tricks all Kumiho can grasp with barely any effort, but most eventually pass by because they want to learn something more suited for them personally. Simple to elaborate illusions, influencing the hearts of others, manipulating spirits, and the special spirit flame of the foxes, Kitsunebi.

That means that even if she's in a situation where she doesn't have much time to prepare or focus she can still cast her spells (note: this is easy for Itori, who is a Kumiho.

    • Complex: while the magic itself is not complicated at all (for a Kumiho), the requirements for being able to use the magic are a lot more complex than average. For one thing, one has to be a Kumiho.
Itori normally only manipulates those who she needs to manipulate, but if they somehow resist the manipulation or realize it afterwards they'll very quickly become distrustful of the Kumiho.

    Lineage:

    Kumiho Descendancy, the Vulpine Siren:
    Wielder: Itori
Description: Born over seven thousand of years ago the Triplets belonged to a race of people known as the Kumiho. A race that had physical traits of a fox. The triplets are the only remain survivors of said race. But because of the one of the sister being genetically perfect the Kumiho race is not considered dead. This comes from the fact that the perfect genes the one sister possesses can override all genetic traits of another race. Meaning anyone she chooses to mate with will only produce pure Kumiho. The remaining two sister’s jobs are to protect this one individual at all cost, which is something that is harder to do considering their personalities.

Itori is in some ways both the most fortune and the most unlucky of the three sisters. Whether through luck or skill, she avoided all disasters in her millennia long travels. However all her attempts at reuniting with her sisters have been fruitless up until now, and where both her sisters developed fearsome abilities she only showed promise with the more basic techniques all Kumiho learn before they begin to find their own talent. However lack of talent does not halt her, as she shows a frightening determination to once again be with her sisters and help them. Neither heaven nor hell could make this silent Kumiho falter.

Alter Forms: Like all Kumiho Itori has two forms that she can use, switching from one to another without effort and nearly instantly.

This buff comes into effect once an ally has been within 10 (+5 per Rank) feet from Itori for longer than one post, and the buff is immediately lost once they get outside that range.
