The river was filled with firefly’s that were flying over the water surface. It was slightly dark already and the first starlight was in the sky. Another long boat trip in there row boats was behind them. Pein touched over his metal arms as they felt rusty from the long rowing. It was kinda weird. It was one of those phantom feelings he has. It felt like his arms were strained from the work while that was impossible as he didn’t had arms anymore. He sighed and walked to the meeting place he should be. This job he was doing was a very delicate job. They didn’t had to beat any mythical beasts or find rich treasures. They had to save a talking raccoon out of the dungeons of a very secure prison in pergrande. It was a very dangerous empire. It was very big and it didn’t allow magic. Anybody found guilty of using or having magic is murdered by them instantly. This make pergrande a rather hard place for a mage to go to.
That’s why pein wasn’t going alone. He was going to need help and there was ofcourse help coming. He heard it was possibility of kiersa heading in this direction before he left the sabretooth guild hall but he was not sure. There was a small hut just a couple of yards away from his landing location. Pein walked to the simple wooden hut with some windows in. it was fairly simple and it looked not that old out for a hut. Somebody probably used this as fishers hut or a hunting shack to stay. But for now it looked empty. Pein pushed the door open and was greeted with three simple wooden chairs around a wooden table. Pein swiped his hand to the left and a blue light lit up the room as his magic worked. A elecktric hand lamp was sitting in the middle of the room. Its elecktric shine breaking the normal candle lit room. Cursing It like it was not supposed to be in this world. Wich maybe be true. Pein sat down on a chair and lit a sigaret as he waited for the rest to arrive.
