Well... Crap.

Lisa slowly released the dead body from her constriction and allowed it to fall to the ground. She moved around and faced her master letting off a set of low pitched clicking sounds mixed with a growling sound. Seikatsu stepped forward and smile as Lisa lowered her head and pressed her snout into his abdomen. Seikatsu rubbed the massive armoured skull of Lisa's saying "You did wonderfully my dear." with a soft, caring, almost fatherly voice. Lisa let off a series of sounds while nuzzling Seikatsu's stomach, in all reality her entire head was bigger than Seikatsu. "Thank you Mr. Raijin, but I'd like to suggest you rid your mind of that memory. Traitors do no deserve to be remembered for anything shy of that which they are, and always will be." Seikatsu said with a solemn expression.

"Oh my! Such spectacular warriors you all are, to defeat my champion." the disembodied voice called from nowhere. "You said you'd show yourself spineless coward, do so or I shall send my wyvern upon you!" Seikatsu called, demanding the face to face. "How touchy we are... Very well I suppose we did strike a deal. However..." the voice called as the sound of every remaining gate in the arena opening was heard. "Opps, finger slipped and I opened the cages!" the voice said, obviously being a coward and releasing the last enemies on the two wizards. Seikatsu got prepared to fight alongside Lisa and Wolfe. "No rest for the weary..." Seikatsu said with an exasperated tone. "Are you prepared for another round Mr. Raijin?" Seikatsu said to his partner with a smile on his face. Seikatsu had no more tricks up his sleeve as he'd exhausted most of his power fighting the tyrant. Lisa would revert to normal size soon, and his Heart of War was shattered. There left only one option for the soul wizard, and that is to fight with his skill once again.

Seikatsu had dashed towards a pair of dogs when his partner had went to go play with the hunter. He knew the dogs were trained to go for vital spots, so Seikatsu charged straight for the mangy beasts and waited for his opening. One of the dogs circled around him, and the other charged straight at him to create a modified pincer formation. Seikatsu waited for both dogs to get closer before jumping out of the way, letting their heads smash into each other. The dogs separated and shook off the pain from headbutting themselves and turned to Seikatsu. They charged forwards with very little room between their shoulder, but the space was plenty. Seikatsu placed both hands on the grip of his Thorn of Betrayal and prepared to strike when the dogs were closer. Seikatsu spun when the dogs were close to him, evidently they planned to shoulder bash him. The sword slashed through the dog on the left's face, continuing to remove the top of its skull and a piece of its brain. The other got hit in the back of its spine, the cut was deep enough to sever the spine, but it didn't go much farther than that. Seikatsu wanted to question where the extra dog came from, as he recalled only two left from the door when it opened this time. His time for questions was gone as fast as it came as Seikatsu saw a small group of people walking strangely towards him. They were moving slowly, limping a little, but none spoke a word or seemed to want to try and find an exit. Seikatsu charged at them and got in the middle of their little quartet.

Seikatsu rammed his Thorn of Betrayal into the chest of one of them, confirming his suspicion that they were no longer alive when the heart shot didn't kill him. He with drew the sword and slashed one that was creeping up behind him with it. Grabbing the wrist of one of the ones getting too close, Seikatsu threw it at the person across from it, and then spun his blade and slashed upward on the first infected person. The man behind him had grabbed Seikatsu's shoulders while Seikatsu was dealing with the other one. Seikatsu grabbed the two wrists and pulled hard before the zombified man could get an attack in, and slammed him on the first guy. Seikatsu thrusted his sword into the face of the one who'd taken the most damage and beheaded the thing that he'd flipped. The other two had finally gotten up, and Seikatsu dashed between them spinning and cutting both their stomachs open. They made a grabbing motion towards him but were far too slow to be successful at the endevour. He finished them up by beheading one and in a smooth motion, using the angle from the beheading, he cut the other in half at the hip. He heard Wolfe roar in his direction, not quite sure why he ignored it.

Lisa cam down from above and grabbed the hunter in her massive mouth, taking it up for a bit of flight time. Lisa exited through the hole in the ceiling, going all the way to the clouds with the hunter struggling in her mouth. Lisa let the monster go, and slammed it with the broad edge of her tail, sending it back through the hole and crashing into the ground of the arena leaving a large crater.

Seikatsu left Wolfe to finish off the hunter, not truly caring for who has a higher kill count, and turned to the last to human, or human seeming, figures in the arena. The grotesque beings were not too dissimilar from ones he'd seen before in the Cursed Lands, but the truest difference is their level of strength. Seikatsu noted that they were remarkable stronger than the ones he'd aced before, taking four times the damage without showing any signs of slowing. To be quite honest, had they been fast or sentient, they might actually be stronger than the tyrant Wolfe was fighting, a concept that disturbed Seikatsu to no end. Seikatsu sped towards one of the last two remaining and spun around it while inflicting a pretty fair gash on the ex-human's torso, quickly transitioning to an upward slash on the grotesque thing standing behind it. He felt the embrace as a strong grip landed on his free arm, and began getting even stronger still. Seikatsu panicked slightly, not wanting to imagine what'd happen if the fiend got a full grasp, and quickly turned his sword to the dagger and and stabbed it in the infected man's arm. The blade landed between a pair of ligaments that controlled the movement of the wrists meaning that when Seikatsu pulled away, the monster couldn't adjust its hand to keep grabbing. Seikatsu jerked himself out of the position and dropped to the ground while slashing at the infected human's legs. Both legs removed, Seikatsu rammed the Thorn of Betrayal in the back of its head, and twisted it to make the hole bigger. He rolled forward in time to be barely missed by the other infected guy's own attempt at grabbing him, and turned around to face his final opponent. Checking his surroundings, all the arena doors were open and the hunter had been disposed of. Seikatsu went at the team's final opponent and cut the undead man all the way through his torso, splitting it in half. The thing began using its hands to crawl to Seikatsu, and Seikatsu quickly disarmed him, and then finished the job with a quick beheading.

Seikatsu collected the eight badges from Wolfe and looked at them. Normally, a person would take pleasure in accomplishing something that overwhelmed eight men, but Seikatsu felt no sense of accomplishment here. His strength wasn't tested anymore than the last time he was in the Ancient Ruins, and even then his strength wasn't being tested much if at all. Seikatsu walked to where his cloak was, picking up the tattered thing Seikatsu turned to a small pouch on the inside of it and gently placed the eight badges inside. He turned to Wolfe, his crimson eyes sizzling back down to his standard dark purple eyes as he nodded to his former partner. He flicked his wrist and the gate leading out of the arena reopened for Wolfe to leave through, and Lisa landed inside the arena next to Seikatsu. "Before I turn this job in, I'm going to return these badges to the Rune Knights. I'm probably still not welcome there, but I'm sure they'd be grateful enough to get these that they'll let me leave in one piece." Seikatsu said as he put his cloak on. Seikatsu got on Lisa by walking up her wing and sitting behind her skull plate. "Then again, not many of their people can put up a decent enough fight, either way it'l be interesting. Farewell Mr. Raijin, may the mother watch over you in this life and the next." Seikatsu said as Lisa began taking off, leaving Wolfe to do as he pleased. Be it find some way to climb through the hole in the ceiling, or leave through the portal leading to the beginning of the job. Either way, Seikatsu now had to get to the Rune Knight's head quarters and give them the badges, and even let them know that their men died a horrifying death twice.
