Player Requirements: D-rank and above.
Job Requirements: Minimum of 5 posts of 150 words per character. Talk the stressed worker that he should not kill his boss and fellow employees. Failure results in an explosion.
Job Location: Capital Crocus
Job Description: Rune Knights have a current crisis in their hands and require a skilled negotiator to go talk a stressed worker that recently got fired. He has strapped enough Lacrima explosives to himself that he is able to level an entire office building. Attacking this man is too risky and thus they hope a 3rd party negotiator can end this confrontation. This is officially a free job and the jewels come from the people inside the office that thank you with their salary.
Reward: 200 Jewels

Allison leaped across the street, barely dodging the cars, who were also swerving to avoid hitting the young female. She had just accepted another job request, but it was urgent-- a group of people had been trapped within a building by a recently fired employee, and their lives were distinctly being threatened. Biting her lip, the red haired mage increased her speed, using magic to teleport instantly from one patch of grass to another, inadvertently killing each in the process. Nonetheless, it increased the rate at which the girl was moving-- because Allison had to get to that building, and she had to do so fast. The employee-- or rather, ex-employee, was currently threatening to blow up the building, which contained several people including himself. The girl didn’t have a problem with death in general, since after all she was an experienced mage and had to have seen some and caused others, but she held a grudge against people who instilled fear into others. What did the man want, anyways?

Could he possibly want his job back? Well, the Rune Knights would most likely arrest him after this incident, but that was why the worker had begun the entire spectacle. He had been fired and needed the job, and the man had been stressed at the thought of not being able to pay rent, as well as other bills. Unfortunately, Allison couldn’t really relate since she did have a lot of money... but perhaps that money could be used to assist the man in paying his fees, and therefore the problem could be solved! Nodding to herself, Allison finally arrived at the office building, her chest not heaving at all, and her breath still even and steady. After doing several jobs over a her years as a mage, Allison had not only become more efficient with using magic, but her body had also adapted to fit the situations where more physical strength was required. Glancing around, the redhead spotted a group of Rune Knights nearby and bounded towards them.

She was introduced to the head of this operation, whose name was... well, Allison forgot it immediately afterwards. But in any case, the situation was explained to her, and the girl immediately nodded, understanding what had to be done. The mage walked at as slow of a pace as she could manage towards the entrance, her boots clicking against the asphalt. Although Allison typically would have skipped or bounced inside, she figured that taking a very slow and methodical approach was best in this case, to have the most likely chance of being accepted by the worker. Calling out cheerfully and accompanied by a bright smile, the red haired mage asked, "What's your name? Mine is Allison, it's nice to meet you!" She then held out her hands to show that they were empty-- Allison's magic didn't require weapons anyways-- and then carefully attempted to open the door of the building. When nothing blew up in her face, the mage shrugged and skipped inside, pausing to wave to the Rune Knights before continuing on.

Allison soon bumped smack dab into a young man, whose chest was heaving. Red faced, he glared up at her, spitting out the words, "What are you doing in here? Why did you want to come in, anyways?? I'll kill everyone in this building if I don't get what I want! And that includes you!" Blinking at the ex-employee, the mage tilted her head slightly and slowly to her right, cheerfully replying after a few moments of silence, "I don't know what you want, so how can I give it to you?" Her tone was reasonable-- more so than usual, but Allison realized just how tense the overall situation was right now and also knew that her normal, slightly abrasive positivity could be overwhelming for the stressed young man. He eyed her warily before replying, his voice only a notch louder than a whisper, "... Money. I was fired a little while ago by this-- ?" The red haired girl had begun to move right after his first word had been said, unbuttoning her jacket despite his cries for her to hold still. A few seconds later, she stood holding out a pink coin purse. "Here you go!" said Allison, cheerfully.

About an hour later Allison emerged from the building, playfully dragging the young man behind her. He still seemed a bit reluctant to leave the structure, but didn't put up any real resistance and instead held an ashamed expression on his face, muttering an apology to the Rune Knights as soon as they were within earshot. Allison turned to the group of law enforcement officers and announced brightly that the building was completely safe to enter now, to which the group immediately headed towards the entrance, most likely going to free the rest of the workers. The red haired girl turned back to the young man, who still wore a sorrowful, apologetic look, and gave him a warm hug. Although in the beginning he had acted simply on his anger and out of both fear and annoyance, Allison was relieved and proud that he had made the correct decision in the end, despite the fact that he knew it would land him in jail.

After the ex-employee had been taken away by the Rune Knights, the rescued workers thanked Allison. Although the job had originally been one requested by the government since she was a legal guild mage, Allison ended up receiving a reward-- part of each of their salary. Her protests were distinctly ignored, and the girl went home, feeling much better about the state of the world-- even some of the villains weren't truly evil at heart.
