While purusing Oak Town for a shop that sells whetstones, a man spproached Seikatsu saying that he needed help, and he looked like the person who can be of use. he tried to turn around and leave the man, but he grabbed Seikatsu's cloak and be gan crying. Seikatsu heard him out, if only to shut him up, from what he could gather... Every time he went to the markets his money would vanish, and when he turned around the same mysterious person would always be standing there. He told the man he didn't want the job, but then he began whining, and moaning. Seikatsu agreed to do the job, but only so he don't have to hear his insesant whining all day long.
He spent a day scoping out the market, following his employer into the market making sure to look around. Fancy-pants pointed Seikatsu to the guy who he suspected was stealing his money. The person didn't make a move, he just sat at the water fountain. After seeing this person, Seikatsu had a sneaking suspision that all is not what it seems. From wearing a cloak for years, Seikatsu knew one thing... Cloaks mask the contours of a person, they add a bit of size, and make it harder to identify them. If this person is wearing a cloak then he's pretty scrawney.

Seikatsu kept an eye on the cloaked man, carefully following him. The man spent the morning practicing hand to hand combat, then went into a restaurant for breakfast. He had some eggs, bacon, four pancakes, orange juice, milk, and then ordered a some pastry. Seikatsu wondered how a man so small could possibly eat that much... 'I would have been done by the second pancake...' he thought to himself. Watching the cloaked man eating reminded Seikatsu that he never had breakfast... He was going to get some, but spotted the guy beforehand. He ignored the rumbling in his stomach, and soldiered on.
The cloaked man left the diner and roamed around the markets for a few hours, before walking down a dark alley. Seikatsu lost track of the cloaked fellow for a couple hours. The cloaked man went into a building with three exits, and Seikatsu, who was on the roof, couldn't find an inconspicuous entrance. Luckily, the cloaked man exited through a rather empty doorway, and stuck out like a sore thumb on the white marble steps. The next place he headed was a local playground where the children seemed to be pretty alright with his presance. In fact, it looked as though they knew him!

One of the kids ran up to the cloaked man, and handed him a small sack that had a draw string keeping it shut. Seikatsu wanted to assume it was currency, but he could think of dozens more items that it could have been. 'Could be jewel... or gems... mini-bombs? Possibly drugs...' Seikatsu pondered for a second, but saw the cloaked man put his hand out and a small bright blue item appeared in it. Seikatsu was too far away to make out the figure, but he could tell the item was made of ice. "Ice-Maker..." he said under his breath. Seikatsu made a not that the man used Static Ice-Make magic, and seemed to be pretty good at it. The man had a congregation around him now, and he knelt down to get at their level. Seikatsu examined the fella a bit more, and noticed he had really slender fingers. Seikatsu figured either he doesn't do much fighting, or he is a reverse trap, which one it was he couldn't figure. The children seemed to be gettin more riled up, something was causing a lot of hype. Seikatsu was sitting on the roof of a house that was sort of close, but not nearly close enough to hear that cloaked man or woman.

Around the cloaked person, a set of mist was forming. The children all backed away, forming a large circle around him... or her... and sat on the ground. Seikatsu's stomach was rumbling, but he ignored it. This would be a good time to see his or her level of skill, and Seikatsu watched carefully. A set of 12 ice crystals came out of the ground, and broke off into small splinters leaving behind 12 cylindrical poles. The poles rose into the air, and the splinters spun around the cloaked figure, and bagan reflecting the light from the sunset; changing the color of the mist. Seikatsu had a strong feeling in his gut that this person was from his village... but that's impossible. They're all dead, Seikatsu knew it for a fact. He burned all the bodies, and buildings and the count was exactly the amount of people in the village. Seikatsu shook the feeling, and kept watching as the cylindrical rods came down, and were each cut into equal length pieces. The ice pucks were placed on the floor in a circle, and they stood up and began to spin. Each puck reflected light, creating a beam of light that differed in color, depending on which ray of light originally entered it.

Seikatsu needed a closer seat, it was risky but there was a perfectly good tree, right behind the cloaked figure. If he could get down from the roof, go through the back yards of the couple houses over, slip through the bushes, and get up the tree without being noticed he would be able to examine this light show properly. Seikatsu decided he'll go for it. He slipped down the side of the house, and quickly crept over to the fence. He checked over the first and made sure there wasn't anyone watching. There was none, and he vaulted over it and did the same for the second. He went to the side of the house, and looked at the bushes waiting for that cloaked person to turn away. The light show was continuing, with the children all in awe, as soon as the cloaked figure looked the other way Seikatsu jumped and rolled into the bush and crouch-walked to the tree. He lined himself up so the large trunk hid his body entirely, and he looked up. "I did not think this through..." he said nervously as this side of the tree had nothing to grab onto except a thick branch that was well over his jumping capability. He began thinking, and thought of Knives of The Fallen 'I could use my throwing knives, but they disappear after being stuck in something...'

Seikatsu put his hands at his shoulders and a two knives appeared in each hand. 'If they last for two seconds, I can jump from them to that branch' he thought while focusing on the branch that was directly above him. Seikatsu quickly stabbed the first knife into the tree, and vaulted himself a good foot higher. The knife disappeared, and he stabbed the next one into the tree and pulled himself ontop it and jumped. The knife disappeared just as his foot left it, ad Seikatsu grabbed the branch, clinging to it with the tips of his fingers. He inched his fingers forward until he had a full grip on the branch, and pulled himself up. He was able to maneuver himself so as to have the best view of this person, and his or her little light show. From his seat in the tree, he saw the spinning pucks rise from the ground, and begin prancing about the children, and finally exploding into a shower of sparkles. The cloaked man received a hug from the children before their parents walked them home. Seikatsu paid careful attention to the hugs, because cloaks have one easy way to show a persons contours... compress it. This cloaked person had a figure, a rather nice one at that, and when the children gave it a very firm hug, it revealed that the cloak was hiding the persons bust. Seikatsu waited for the street to clear before following the woman, who walked all the way to an empty field before stopping.

The woman paused in the middle of the wheat field, and the tip of a bright blue Ice Katana could be seen poking out the front of her cloak. Seikatsu saw the sword, and approached her. "Alright slenderman, I want some answers..." he said in a calm, level tone. The woman turned around and didn't speak. Seikatsu looked at the tip of the sword, which she had moved so he could see its' full form. It was an exact copy of Seikatsu's Katana, just without the dagger. 'Thorn of Glory...' he thought to himself, remembering the sacred sword his father guarded. Seikatsu drew his sword, and prepared to fight. "Who the hell are you! Answer me!" he demanded, but the woman charged at him. The force of the hit was enough to knock him back, and on his back. The woman tried to run him through while he was on the floor, but he quickly rolled sideways, and pushed himself up. "If you won't talk... I'll cut you open and remove that damned hood!" he threatened, and pressed his palm against the side of his sword. White lines engulfed the entire sword as he casted Reinforce on it, and Seikatsu went after the Ice wizard without hesitance. The she-wizard was able to match Seikatsu's moves, and she seemed to know his exact fighting style as it was the one she was using. They went at each other, but this time the Ice-Sword shattered, and Seikatsu took the opportunity to try and make a grievous strike, but the woman blocked it with a pair of hastily made Ice-Daggers. She gave Seikatsu a kick, and knocked Seikatsu down again.

Seikatsu had a flashback to when he was a child, playing in the woods, practicing with this one black haired girl whose name he couldn't remember after so long. He snapped to when the girl was coming at him with a soul sword being charged. Seikatsu ditched any idea of the attacker being from his village, as there was never once a woman who could use soul magic, and he stopped holding back. Seikatsu pressed his hands together and shot the sideways creating a Spirit Barrier that forced the attacker back. Seikatsu scrambled to his feet, and the attacker fired an Ice Spike at the barrier, destroying it. "I don't know who you are, or where you came from, or even how you fight like me... What I do know is, you seriously piss me off..." he said angrily as he gripped his sword tightly. He charged at her, and made contact with her cloak but was quickly met in the back of the head with her heel, making Seikatsu roll forward. He recovered quickly, fast enough to be met with an Ice spear that had enough force to knock his Thorn of Betrayal right out his hands. There was a symbol on the spear, but the woman retracted it before Seikatsu could finish examining it.

Seikatsu pulled a pair of knives out of the sleeves on his shoulders, and threw them at the woman. It made contact with the cloak, but she had a plate of ice under the cloak which stopped the knives. 'Damn, she's smart' Seikatsu thought, but his train of thought was interrupted by the spear tip hitting him in rapid succession. Seikatsu stumbled backwards, with sever wounds. 'Her ferocity, and speed...' he began. Seikatsu forced himself up, and charged again with both hands at his scabbards. The woman didn't expect him to keep at it, and went blank long enough for Seikatsu to get within striking distance. He pulled the two Soul Swords and tried for an X shaped attack, but the woman blocked it, and rammed the end of her spear into Seikatsu's stomach, then threw him aside. She walked up to Seikatsu, and said:
"I don't know you either, I don't care who you are, and I don't want you following me."
Seikatsu tried to get up, but the put the tip of the Ice Spear at Seikatsu's throat.
"Several people have followed me, thinking that I stole that rich fools money. There is no item I require that's worth stealing from whiney fools."
Seikatsu was in awe, the woman over powered him, and knew his purpose. The Ice wizard, or warrior goddess slammed Seikatsu over the head with the broad side of her Ice spear, and knocked him out.

Seikatsu awoke on top a roof, overlooking the market where he saw his employer making a purchase. At the same time, a small child, the one who passed the sack to that warrior godess. Seikatsu understood now... the child steals the money to pay her to do a lightshow. She doesn't know the money is stolen... Seikatsu waited till night before he tracked down the woman. Thankfully, her routine doesn't change much, she was back at the play ground. Seikatsu saw the same little boy, passing a sack to the woman and he threw all 6 of his remainging knives at the sack. The woman turned around, and the child fell back on his rear end. Seikatsu approached them, and picked up the sack. The cloaked woman prepared her Ice sword, and Seikatsu grabbed the blade firmly. "It's a crime to steal you know..." he said while looking at the little boy. The woman dispelled her Ice Sword and turned to the child, waiting for an explaination.
"I awoke at the market, thanks to you I believe..." he said looking at the woman. "When I saw that whiney-fool going into a store. Through the crowd, I saw this kid running by, and snatching one of the sacks of money from his waist."
The woman gasped "So you mean..."
Seikatsu interrupted "You've been being paid with stolen jewel."
The woman gave the sack to Seikatsu, and prepared to leave the playground. Seikatsu grabbed her shoulder with the hand that wasn't bleeding and gave her the sack of jewel. "You have a remarkable ability, and your power is without question. I'll get fancy-pants off your back, but next time I see you... I'll kick your ass."
The woman took the sack, and froze over the blood on Seikatsu's hand. As Seikatsu walked away he heard her faintly whisper "Thank you..." there was something at the end, that sounded like Niyol, but he ignored it.

Seikatsu went to his employer's house and told him "First off, that man dressed in black is a woman. Second, she didn't steal a dime from you. Third, it was some kid. I advise you not to keep your jewel in a sack tied to the back of your belt." The man thanked him for doing the investigation, and asked about the last sack that was stolen. Seikatsu simply lied and said the kid had already hid the currency, and he wasn't paid to retrieve his jewel. The man wanted to get angry with Seikatsu, but then he saw the Thorn of Betrayal at Seikatsu's hip and laid off. Seikatsu left the man's home, and continued in his travel.
