when i wake up i'm afraid...

Defiance was what clamoured at the back of Melody's mind - wondering if all the energy that her friend bestowed was just one big fat lie. Slightly wishing she could have that simply flustered and muted partner back, yet thankful for the one who harboured so much courage and open-minded friendliness to everybody. Although.. as of now, friendliness was not useful within the depths of shadowy forest - skin-crawling and overwhelmingly haunting, the fox was the only one that appeared a victim in this horrible situation. The one of being lost. "W-Why didn't you just take a carriage?! And why do you have no weapons with you!?" jaws clattered together against her ear - puny canine clasped securely against her shoulder and masked by locks of flawless white, so pure in the darkness that it gleamed with collided moonlight. "I spent the money I had with me on all those donuts! Plus, why would I have needed a weapon? I was just spending some time with Venir! Aha.. She's such a cute kid, don't you think?" oblivious. She was oblivious to the fear that leaked from her friend, pursuing confidently through open woods that no longer showed any visible path. Footfalls were loud through consuming silence, curious of the darkness that was bestowed before her and then.. the distant cries of a creature.

Or a human? Footfalls ceased into muted silence, this time sending a shudder along pale flesh as the howling came again, this time slightly louder. "W-What was that?!" loudly whispering, the girl did not respond, but instead stood still. Barely breathing, the falling steps of something much larger neared them. Closer and closer. Until, it emerged from the mass clutter of bush and trees - giant like and intimidating. "Wooow, a lycan!" pinkish lips stretched back, unvieling pearly whites as her neck craned uncomfortable to meet two larger pools of what was recognized as anger. One that was not hesitant in hefty lashings of large clawed hands, barely missing the feeble girl whome leapt out of the way. "Aw, seems I've picked the wrong place to make friends with something so aggressive~.. Better get going then~!" and with that, she took off with the strength her own legs could muster. Lycan hot on her tail.

The moonlight was bright in the dark forest,as the ray of light shined down upon the darkness piercing through it like a ray of hope. The forest was known to harbor many rare breeds of different animals some you really don’t run into in the world beyond these trees. The wind slightly picking up as the sound of a whistle echoed through the dark forest. The sound was almost angelic as the sound flowed with the wind in complete sync. In one of the trees far above the ground. There sat a woman on one of the branches that spread from the trunk of the tree itself,her legs crossed as her right leg will be over the left as she sat there. The woman that sat so peacefully in the tree was none other than Mikomi ariel. She was a Member of Savage Skull but not many people knew that about this woman due to her ability to remain incognito.

Mikomi Appearence at the time,She has long, wavy black hair, and her eyes are amber, complemented by light-purple eye shadow flaring backwards. Her eyes are slightly tilted upwards at the ends, giving her a somewhat catlike appearance. She wears black low-heeled boots and stockings that start off black at her hips, but gradually fade to purple as they near her shoes. On the outside of her stockings, there are white symbols that are most likely belladonna flowers. She wears black ribbons on both of her arms, with a black detached sleeve and a silver band on her left arm.

Mikomi wears a black buttoned vest with coattails, and a white, sleeveless undershirt that exposes part of her midriff with white shorts that may be connected to her shirt, although it is partly obscured by the vest. Her shorts have a zipper on the front of each leg, but it is unknown if these zippers serve a purpose or are simply decorative. She also wears a detached scarf-like collar around her neck.

The sound of her whistling continued,her eyes closed as her back leaned comfortably against the trunk of the tree. Her eyes slightly opening to take in the view of the moon that night,her head would rest comfortably against the wood. Her eyes closing slowly drifting off,it really had been awhile since she actually had time to herself at all. She been on so many jobs back to back she never had a chance to just sit back and relax. So this was rare for her,well to actually have the time to close her eyes at the very least. Mikomi had all her weapons strapped on her from the twin pistols in their holsters on each side of her torso,to the sword that was strapped to her back,it was the only memento she really had from her past.

Her eyes continued remaining closed as her head rested against the surface of the tree. She could hear it someone was talking in a far distance. This was only due to her heighten senses from her own personal magic,her eyes slightly opening slowly revealing those yellow eyes of her’s that seem to break through the darkness with such a glow. She would would tilt her head to the side as she watched a woman getting chased by a Lycan. Mikomi eyes narrowed a bit as she was a tad annoyed at all the noise being made from this scene happening on the ground.

A long annoyed sigh would leave the woman lips,her body shifting a bit as she would force herself to rise to her feet.”Why can’t I ever get a break,,,,,”she thought to herself. standing up now as her position didn’t change much as the soles of her feet would tap against the branch slightly as she tapped more. This was a way for people like her to make precise moves count. The sound of the Tapping could be heard from anyone paying attention or even close to the woman. Those yellow eyes looked down towards the woman running from the beast. She normally never had the energy to save people. But as long as this scene is happening she doubt she would be able to get any sleep at all from this point on.

Her right hand would grip the handle of Makengi her demon blade,though she was a Demigoddess herself she had such demonic weapons in her arsenal.With a final tap of her foot her body would vanish as if it wasn’t even there to begin with. She didn’t teleport it was just her moving very fast in a very quick manner. Using win as the soles of her feet for such a boost. Her body would blow past the woman leaving a strong gust behind as she ran pass her. Her foot would slam to the ground as the grip of her sword only got tighter.

Her knees will bend as she unsheathes the blade bringing it down vertically as it would slash deeply against the lycan. The body of the monster would stop,as having it’s body slashed wasn’t the best way to stop. She would turn around flicking her blade as blood splatters on the ground before she sheaths it. As soon as she sheathe Makengi the body of the lycan would fall backwards as a strong sigh leave her lips. Her eyes would look forward towards the woman who was running from the beast,if she did turn around all she will see first was those yellow glowing eyes of Mikomi staring at her.

“If I may ask…...but why are you in a place like this? and making so much noise? do you want to attract trouble?”she asked a series of questions. It was obvious Mikomi was more concerned why would a woman like this travel alone in a place like this. It wasn’t that she cared or anything,she was curious of course. I mean she was part of the number one Dark guild...and they don’t save people,so it had to be for her own benefit.”Anyway you should probably return to wherever you came from”she said bluntly.

A blink, two edged ears jerked at the presence of a voice, eyes of amethyst gem steering around to expose hidden wonders within this sudden stranger. The running did not last, but the overflowing excitment still lashed against walls of transparent stone - smile never departing. "Well, actually, I have no idea where I am!" a chuckle, frail hand extended to the nape of neck awkwardly, "If I had known somebody was trying to sleep I would've been more quiet." it was a gesture regarding the beast she had just murdered, attention never curious of what it expressed in death. The stinging sense of blood on the tip of a twitching nose was more than enough knowledge.

"Return?" purple pools stretched briefly, feet shuffling forward as her smaller frame arosed closer to the intimidating woman. "Aw, come'on! I can't just leave you off like that! You saved me after all." one hand settled on hip, crown tilting left, "Unforunately, I don't have any money with me, but is there something you would like?" the dragon was strongly fastened to sticking next to this stranger, lips stretched widely as toothy features became exposed. Even within the grasp of shadows, the gleaming of moon reached them faintly, causing pale features to glow gently like stardust, and unvieled pools to shine ravishingly.
