Post by Cirven 14th January 2015, 4:33 pm

    Job Info:

Cirven and his sister had flown to the Royal Castle as fast as they could upon accepting the job the defend the Royal Castle. The situation seemed dire for the the people of the castle seeing as they had resorted to call on outside mages to help them defend against the imminent attack. The giant serpent landed in front of the front gate and in front of the guards. The guards quickly raised their polearm weapons to Zinnath and charged her to attack.

Cirven thought quickly, jumping off Zinnath and using his sword to crash into the polearms that moved towards the snake to parry them. "Hey! I understand you are on alert but calm down! We are on your side!" He placed his sword back into the scabbard on his side and sighed. "Sorry about that. Zin has that effect on most people it looks like."

The guards gave off huffs and puffs of anger as they lowered their weapons. "Next time try to warn us better!" A female guard yelled out at him. "How was I to warn you better with how fast you attacked us, dumbass?!" Cirven barked back at the woman.

He grunted as the woman did not respond back to him at all but instead stayed silent as she boiled with anger at him. "Aly, lets go so that we can start helping them. Lets just hope they are grateful that we are here." He looked back and spoke to his sister but finished his comment by looking towards the woman again who grew in anger again.

He moved by the guards and into the castle with his sister while Zinnath waited outside. The castle seemed to have a guard of some kind around every corner which was ideal for the situation but somewhat annoying for Cirven's curiosity. "All these guards are messing with my nerves. Its like they don't want us seeing anything we shouldn't or something."

    Spoiler:
    "Wait wait wait wait!"
Aayla exclaimed as the guards came towards Zinnath. She motionned for the Serpent to take to the sky again just as Cirven jumped off and parried their enemies attacks. She sighed lightly as she pet the side of Zinnath's neck to help her calm down too as she glared at the guards that had approached her.

"Thanks Cirven... Zinny.... stay up high ok, keep an eye out but stay safe."
She instructed the Serpent, hugging her face before ushering her towards the sky and watching as she left their sight, flying high up above the castle and circling it a few times. Aayla then turned to the female guard who seemed to be far more upset than the others and bowed politely.

"I'm very sorry that we scared you. You're right we should have sent word about Zinnath before arriving... her Cirven hold on..."
She cut off suddenly as Cirven had headed into the castle before her. She bowed another time to the lady before running after her brother. They went straight into the Royal castle with little resistance, the rose knights eyeing them carefully, but having been briefed that wizards from the legal guilds would be on their way to help.

"They all kind of look scary..."
She whispered to her brother, drawing closer to him and wrapping her hands around his arm as they walked through the halls and towards the Clerk that had hired them.

"It is the royal castle Cirven... of course there are things they don't want people to see... or things they need to protect..."
She stated towards his inquiry as to why there were so many guards watching every door and every corridor. She did find it extremely intimidating, and wondered why hey needed their help at all... frankly the castle seemed to be fine with just the Rose guards on duty...

    OOC Note: :

Kihia was standing outside a doorway, a place the Guards had specifically instructed him to wait at the spot until the two other Legal Mages arrived. They weren’t particularly happy with him at the moment, considering how he had arrived in the castle courtyard. He had come in again at Mach 5 on the Ikarones when he departed from the ship through his own PDS pod, and he managed to land perfectly in the castle courtyard. However… aside from scaring everyone in the castle he had left a decent sized crater at his landing spot. They Immediately had surrounded the crater preparing to attack until he came out and apologized, and introduced himself.

The next minute they escorted him to this spot and ordered him to wait until called upon. Kihia sighed, Why don’t I ever try and land that ship more often… Kihia looked at the guard across the hall who had been glaring at him since he was posted there, “So… Anywor-“ “Just keep quiet until you are called apon, you ruined my life’s work when you landed” She had spat out interrupting Kihia. Kihia simply shook his head and fell silent, If I were to guess… She is talking about a plant that I had obliterated upon landing.

Kihia then turned to look down the hallway and saw a group of people headed his way, he studied them for a moment before he recognized who they were, It was Aayla and Cirven, two mages he had fought alongside with once before at clover, fighting of a horde of dragons. Kihia started to try and say something when the guard across from him raised her hand pointing at him, “What did I say, no talking no talking at all until you are called upon, I will not hear the voice of the man who destroyed my precious flowers!”

"I know it's a castle but still it really should be more welcoming to us, you know?" He replied back to his sister as they traveled through the halls. Every time they attempted to go another way down the halls one of the guards would stop them and prevent them from doing so while directing them the right way which caused Cirven to get more curious about what they had inside their castle to hide. The idea of snooping around was something that probably would get him in trouble if he embraced it but that didn't mean he was giving up so soon. He thought about not snooping to avoid any issues but the urge was still there.

He was a one track minded sort of person for the most part though so when they saw the mage named Kihia that he had fought with alongside his sister against dragons at Clover Town, he quickly forgot about the idea of snooping around. "Yo Frosty!" Cirven called out with a wave as they approached the man but didn't get any sort of response back. He shot the man a glare not knowing there was a guard making sure that he didn't speak. Cirven grew angry with the man from what seemed like a lack of respect he was giving him by not waving or replying. He knew that Kihia had seen him but still did not respond.

"Hey Frosty!!" Cirven yelled out in a more angered and louder tone as they got closer but still didn't get a response. He increased his pace until he was almost face to face with the ice mage. "Frosty! Why didn't you say hey or something while I was back there? You are making me look like some loud idiot, you know?!" He grunted out practically through his teeth at the Lamia Scale mage.

"They don't usually let visitor's in here..."
Aayla began to tell her brother when he suddenly changed his focus and waved towards a familiar figure. There stood a man with two guards, the man that stood there was the same one they had fought next too in Clover against the hoard of dragons. She smiled awkwardly towards the man, remembering just how much of an idiot she had acted like when they had first met... she had been so focused on finding Hydrianna, that she didn't pay any attention to the fact that these creatures wee actually hurting people.

    "Hello Mr. Kihia."
Aayla stated politely as they got closer, swatting Cirven lightly for acting like the victim. As she did so, the woman guarding Kihia glared at the two new comers before stepping between the two blue haired mages and Kihia.

"I would appreciate you do not talk to him. You two are the Sabertooth mages... hm... at least you two took the front door. Well! What are you all waiting for Hebert is waiting for you inside! Go on!"
The woman ushered them, turning back once more to look at Kihia and bringing two fingers to her own eyes, then moving her hand to point those fingers at Kihia in a "I'm watching you" type of hand gesture.

Fire, Water and Ice to Defend the Royal Castle BmsHK4b

With that done, the guard ushered the trio into the Clerk, Heberts office. Instead of coming into your regular clerk like scenario, Hebert was actually running like a mad man throughout his office, carying a multitude of scrolls in both arms as he packed bags and drew crude magic circles on the wall so he could more easily transport his belongings.

"Uhm... Hebert what is this? What are you doing?"
The female guard demanded of the man as they walked in, walking over and slamming her hand on one of the large tomes that Hebert was going to attempt sticking through a magic circle.

Hebert cleared his throat as he looked at everyone.

"Well what do you think! We have to ask guild mages for help! I need to save everything of value before they take the whole castle down!"

    "... point taken..."

Fire, Water and Ice to Defend the Royal Castle Empty Re: Fire, Water and Ice to Defend the Royal Castle

Post by Kihia 17th January 2015, 10:22 am

Kihia walked into the office as he watched the clerk rushed around his office trying to grab numerous important documents. He heard the discussion between the Guard and the clerk, he then turned to Cirven and said, “Sorry about that, I wasn’t allowed to speak… due to a particular Guard…” At this her face grew red and started to try and speak when Herbert cut in, “Captain Amanda please if you are going to cause a disturbance please leave! Its bad I have to deal with this Riffraff as it is.” The Guard huffed and then exited the room, how Kihia’s gaze returned to the clerk, that was an incredibly cold Glare. “We have been called to help you all here… and you disrespect us?...” The Clerk finally stopped for a moment and stared at the ice mage, “I am afraid I have little confidence in some legal mages sent to us seemingly at random, I severely doubt that three mere legal mages, who seemingly hold no meaningful positions can help in this situation.” The clerk then pressed his glasses back against his nose to make sure they were in their proper position and nodded and then resumed carrying on what he was doing.

Kihia on the other hand tightened his hands into fists but held his temper… “Situations like this… When a group of vile men and women even creatures are at the doorstep of peoples homes… this is something I have trained my entire life to be able to handle, to defend the home that needs it!” Kihia then turned around seeing that there was nothing further the clerk would want to speak to them about, he walked back out into the hallway and walked to window. The floor they were on was high enough to see over the castle walls and onto the fields that seemingly was going to be the field of battle. He normally could keep his calm… but the attitude of the clerk… was something that completely urked him, I will defend this castle… alongside both Cirven and Aayla…

Fire, Water and Ice to Defend the Royal Castle Empty Re: Fire, Water and Ice to Defend the Royal Castle

Post by Cirven 17th January 2015, 4:13 pm

Cirven let out a yelp of pain after his sister hit him for his playing the victim in the situation with Kihia. He didn't get time to respond to the hit from his sister though as the female guard with the ice mage spoke to them. The female guard had struck Cirven in the wrong way quickly with how she told him not to speak but even then he still decided against barking back at her somehow.

He followed the guard while looking around the area they were in. It seemed to look almost exactly he thought a castle would. Everything around them looked expensive and gave the blue-haired mage the feeling of wanting to touch them. He had to think twice on that thought though because he had a feeling that he didn't have enough jewel to pay for breaking anything.

The group was brought to a room with a man running around in a panic and throwing things into a magic symbol he had made. Possibly a pocket dimension of some sort. The guard and the Clerk spoke shortly with the guard leaving them after. Kihia managed to tell Cirven of the situation with the guard as the clerk spoke of them as being riffraff.

Kihia beat Cirven to speaking out against the clerk's beliefs in them which somewhat threw Cirven off. He was used to Kihia being the strong silent type but that looked to change when his beliefs or talent was spoken against. Kihia then left the room after telling the clerk off some.

"Honestly, does anyone have faith in us here?" Cirven sighed and shook his head. "We will just have to show you all just who we are and gain our our positions in your eyes." With that Cirven then walked away and found Kihia not too far away in front of a window. "Don't stress that guy too much. He is just an idiot who hasn't seen what we can do, right?"

A few minutes after Cirven spoke to Kihia an alarm echoed through the castle alerting them of the enemy closing in on them.

Fire, Water and Ice to Defend the Royal Castle Empty Re: Fire, Water and Ice to Defend the Royal Castle

Post by Aayla 22nd January 2015, 7:19 pm

Aayla sighed at the scenario playing out before her, staying quiet until everything was said and done and the trio was walking back outside of the office. She gave a light smile towards Kihia before glancing at her brother.

"From what I understand the royals don't rely on the legal guilds much anymore. They have their own Knights to deal with them so it must feel like an insult to have to ask for outside he-"
Aayla paused in her explanation as her eyes seemed to narrow and she looked off away from Cirven. Something smelled off... Something just wasn't the same as it had been a minute ago. She ran towards one of the windows, pushing them open and peering outside just as the alarms began to go off.

    "Ahh!"
She cried out as she brought her hands up to her ears with a whimper as the sound assaulted her heightened senses. She bit her lower lip before glancing back to her brother and to Kihia.

"What the heck is going on?"
She asked, wondering why now there would be such a loud alarm when the castle thought it was already under attack?? That's when she felt the castle itself shake as if an earthquake had just passed by. She clung onto the windowsill before catching a glympse of what was coming...

    Spoiler:

A whole battalion of nearly see through Knights were charging the castle, each wearingthe same sort of invisible body armor and matching helmets. Their faces were almost pitch black, gaunt looking as if there were no bodies under the armor. They would charge the Rose Knights and would them severley with their astral weapons, then moving on to pass through the walls of the castle, entering it's halls with little no resistance.

"What exactly were we supposed to be fighting... They kind of... look like g...ghosts..."
Aayla said worriedly, glancing from the Knights to her companions.

Fire, Water and Ice to Defend the Royal Castle Empty Re: Fire, Water and Ice to Defend the Royal Castle

Post by Kihia 24th January 2015, 2:53 pm

Kihia looked grimly out the window as both Cirven and Aayla joined by his side, he heard what Cirven said and sighed, he grabbed his right gauntlet and paused for a moment, he then said in an abnormally quiet voice even for him, “..you won’t understand… this situation for me… is upholding my vow… and keeping my promises…” He then pulled the Gauntlet off revealing the true state of his right arm. The ice it was made out of Glistened as it reflected the light coming through the window gently, “I will protect these people… even if they don’t believe that I… or all of us can do so…” Kihia then slipped the Guantlet back on flexing his fingers to make sure it fitted properly.

He then heard what Aayla began to say just before the Alarm sounded, as he saw ghostly soldiers run at the walls and blazing through the soldiers into the main hall. “It seems it has begun…” Kihia reached into his trench coat and pulled out Geruko and Geruka, “ice Make… Skaroks…” the Skarok system formed on himself, “Let us defend them…” Kihia then used the Skaroks system to push back and turn around, then with a strong gust of wind he took off down the hallway, turning the corner to get to the stairs and glided down to the first floor where the fighting was taking place.

He stopped as he saw the numerous ghostly soldiers fighting off against the soldiers, “Ice Make Twin Sword Breakers!” Two sword blades of ice formed on the Geruks he then got ready to charge as the Skarok system started to pull in a large amount of air, he then charged forward with another gust of wind as he charge straight for two Ghostly soldiers facing off against three of the castles own soldiers.

Fire, Water and Ice to Defend the Royal Castle Empty Re: Fire, Water and Ice to Defend the Royal Castle

Post by Cirven 31st January 2015, 10:22 am

Cirven's eyes widened as he witnessed the Ice mage's limb made of pure ice. It was something that he figured was possible but he never thought someone would run around with a arm like that. He thought they would make their arm through ice before fighting or something but figured it was a sort of way for Kihia to fit in with others and not stand out so much. He did seem to have a knack for blending in with surroundings with how quiet he was which was the complete opposite for the Flame Demon Slayer.

His attention was taken off the arm once his sister pointed out the enemies coming towards the castle from the window. "Looks like we will be helping you protect things... As well as keeping your promises.." He spoke out with a grin and then started making his way down to the first floor where the fighting was before the others. Kihia had passed him on the way using some spell though which made Cirven snicker from the sight. "Don't get so cocky, Forsty!" He yelled out as he was passed.

Cirven waited until the enemy was in sight and then used his Flames of Propulsion spells to shoot off like a jet at some of the ghostly enemies before they could attack some of the soldiers. Using the propulsion he would use his sword to slash two of the enemies. He turned around to see them still standing from the attack though.

"So that happened... I think these guys are made of a bit better stuff than I thought.." Cirven lifted up his blade in front of him and charged the two enemies again but this time was slashed at by both of their swords. The ghost men were sluggish in their attacks so Cirven was able to jump out of the way but as the sword hit the ground they dug in easily. They were pulled out just as easy by the ghost men too. Cirven stood up with some of the Royal Knights near him after dodging. "OK. Slow strikes but a lot of power. Whatever they are eating on a daily basis I want some of."
