Capture The Dark Principle. { Nightken and Zoe }

Nodding at the man before her, the light blonde followed him inside the school building, her eyes continuously scanning her surroundings for any sign of enemies. When Nightken stopped the lights from flickering, Zoe breathed a slight sigh of relief that was unfortunately, broken for as soon as she did that, her team-mate indicated the presence of enemies; three teenage students and one teacher. The students were rendered incapable of moving by Nightken and their weapons had been taken away making it far easier for Zoe to, now, take care of them whilst Nighken handled the teacher. 'Alrighty, leave them to me!' She said as she mock saluted Nightken on him telling her to handle the students.

The uneasiness present before had lowered down, considerably as she looked at her opponents who were standing still while cracking her knuckles. Raising herself in the air so that she hovered above the direction of the students, the girl spread her arms on either side of her before calling out, 'Dancing Wind Strike!' Around the three students, about ten tendrils comprised of wind formed, their shape being very narrow and their movement and direction being controlled by Zoe's hands. With a slight roar, she brought her hand forward in the direction of the students whilst simultaneously, the tendrils moved swiftly towards the students, its sharpness and lethality being showcased as all the ten tendrils struck the students making a scream echo from each one of them. Following that, the students all fell to the ground, laying there motionless.

Grinning, Zoe made her way to the ground and towards Nightken who had taken care of the teacher as well which Zoe had witnessed as she had fought her opponents and was quite impressed as he nullified the fireball, electrocuted the teacher and even helped her a little bit. If Nightken hadn't stopped the students movement and thrown the knives out of the window, the wind mage would have a far more tougher time. Perhaps, these were the perks of taking your guild master on a job, she mused to herself.

'That was easier than I expected. I thought we would have a whole mob of angry students, teachers and whatnot at us. But it was only one teacher and three students. We must be lucky.' However, it seemed as though Zoe's words had an opposite effect for as soon as those words escaped her mouth, the door of the auditorium opened which was at the end of the hallway and from it came hoards of people.

'Okay, I take back what I said. We are not lucky. At all.'

Standing there dumbfounded, the girl looked on as her team-mate and guild master swiftly moved, with lighting fast speed; literally. As soon as the hoard of students and teachers had appeared, Nightken had taken the initiative to move forward to take them out. Quite surprisingly, the man behind this entire thing had showed himself as well; the principal. It made Zoe wonder why he decided to come out so quickly but it seemed as though her stoic team-mate would not be giving their enemy a chance to do anything for he struck the principal first, sending him flying backwards before proceeding to attack the students. Zoe was glad she was not in their place.

As she watched Nightken handle the students and faculty, the light blonde had failed to notice the three child students creep up on her. All of a sudden, one of them leaped forward and bit Zoe on the shoulder blade. Grasping her shoulder as she turned around to face the child who was now behind her, she swiftly raised her leg forward and kicked him in the gut but the kick wasn't strong enough to severely injure the child. The other two leaped forward to attack her as well but another kick and a punch were enough to knock them out.

'Ouch.' She muttered as Zoe glanced at the shoulder that was slightly bleeding but thankfully, it wasn't too deep. It was at that moment that Zoe suddenly felt herself being picked up and be taken away from their enemies at a really fast speed. It was only when they stopped and she was put down did she realize that it was Nightken who had taken her and brought her to the roof. 'Well, we don't want to injure them that seriously so what you did was a good thing, Master. But what do we do now? Do we wait or go in the hallways and try to avoid trouble?' The light blonde asked him on their next course of action as he lit his cigarette and she moved her arms slightly for hand gestures but winced as she did that as her shoulder blade still stung a bit.

Ignoring that, she continued, 'Those students and teachers clearly appeared to be possessed and by now, I'm sure both of us guessed that this principal is behind all of this. So, if we want to rescue the students and teachers and make sure that they're safe, we need to defeat the principal. He must be somewhat, injured by now with the way you struck him so now, we need to find him and take him out.'

'Wait, you want me to go all by myself and check the teacher's and principal's room? In this dark and creepy school? Alone? No. Not happening. At all.' The light blonde haired protested to her Guild Master's plan. Did he honestly think she would roam this school all by herself? Well, that was a big no. However, it seemed as though Nightken wanted to go through with this plan for it appeared as though he hadn't heard anything as he dashed to the first floor from where a scream echoed towards the roof. 'HEY YOU POSSESSED FREAKS COME AND GET ME!'

Sighing, Zoe gulped before making her way to the stairs and dashing downwards towards the top floor from where she started scanning each door to know which one was the teacher's lounge. However, all classrooms; no teacher's room. Sighing, she decided to make her way to the bottom floor. Shouldn't that be the place where the teacher's lounge should be? As she was walking on the bottom floor, Zoe felt like a dark presence coming from the first floor; and this presence was familiar though the darkness was something new. It was Nightken's presence. Zoe shivered a bit as she suddenly felt a feeling of sheer coldness. 'Why am I feeling this demonic aura coming from Master? I hope everything's okay.' The light blonde haired girl muttered as she sauntered forward, desperately hoping that everything was okay with Nightken.

Scanning the bottom floor once again, Zoe finally found what she was looking for; the teacher's lounge. 'Finally!' The girl made her way there but came to a halt as a voice erupted from within the room; the voice was laced with desperation and it was a cry of pain. She didn't know what lay beyond the door however, somebody needed help so she had to throw aside her fear and become what she was; a Fairy Tail mage. Opening the door suddenly, the girl's eyes widened as she witnessed a bloody, mangled up body; the man's eyes and mouth were open in terror however, his movements were still as the blood was painted upon him. Gasping, Zoe kept a hand on her mouth and tried to calm herself down. She stepped into the room and looked around to see who had done this. However, there was no one there.

'I wonder, who killed this man? I could hear the screams outside the door which meant that whoever did this was here that time. They must have magic if they disappeared so fast. I wish I had come earlier; maybe I could've done something.' As she spoke to herself, it was then Zoe noticed an intricate design painted on the wall of the lounge. And unfortunately, she knew what it was as her eyes widened. A summoning circle; however, this one was specially designed for the summoning's of demon. It was then everything clicked in her head; the seemingly possessed students and teachers, the powers that they had, the principal. Now it all made sense.

'The principal wants to summon demons into this world from Hell.' The girl spoke, a voice merely a whisper,'And not a few of them, but an army of millions. This is bad. This is so bad. I have to inform Master of this; immediately.' Running out of the teacher's lounge, Zoe was about to make her way to Nightken's location however, it seemed as though her enemies wouldn't let her, for as soon as she stepped out of the teacher's lounge, she was faced by foes.

As she looked on ahead, with one hand grasping the door that she had just opened, her eyes focused on the figures of the adults and children that were scattered outside of the room, each of them having a crazed look on their face. ‘Damn it.’ The Fairy Tail mage, Zoe cursed as she fully stepped out of the room. Glancing around, it came to her attention that there was absolutely no way to escape; if she wanted to leave and inform her Guild Master of her recent discoveries then she would have no choice but to fight these possessed people; something that she was trying to avoid till now in fear of hurting them, especially the children. However, if she didn't then who knows what catastrophe could happen.

‘You’re not going anywhere.’ One of the male teacher hissed in her direction as his hand lit up in fire and he aimed the conjured fireball in the direction of the wind mage. As soon as the fireball was shot in her direction, Zoe jumped to the side, from where her hands touched the ground and a backflip followed to bring her to a halt, on her feet. Though missing its original target; the fireball – which had apparently hit the door that Zoe was standing next to – left quite a searing burn upon it. The children all rushed in her direction as the light blonde haired girl scrambled to her feet; she had to be careful, not to hurt the children. They all aimed at her from all sides, their mouths wide open, seemingly want to bite the girl. As they neared, Zoe took off into the air which made the children hit each other and fall to the floor, groaning as their heads had collided. Holding her hands out as she floated in the air, Zoe managed to make the children levitate; it appeared as though despite being possessed, they were still entranced by the fact that they were flying. However, this was not for their amusement. Using her levitation abilities, the Fairy Tail mage swung her hands, resulting in the children slamming against the wall. However, she had made sure that the force that she had applied was not to a large extent and just enough to render them unconscious. Which it successfully had.

As soon as that was over with, the female’s attention was directed back to the group of teachers, standing there as their visage masked a feeling of absolute fury. Zoe may have went easy on the children but these teachers annoyed her; hence, she wouldn’t be going easy with them. The teachers simultaneously charged at her, their hands lighting up on fire as they rushed towards her from all directions. In perfect sync, they all aimed the fireballs at her from various direction as she still floated above in mid-air. ‘Notus’ Barrier!’ A barrier encompassed of wind formed around her as the fireballs hit her. However, there was a slight drawback to this as well; fire was fuelled by wind hence, Zoe had to be certain that she did not encompass herself in too much wind that would fuel the fire instead of nullifying it.

And thankfully, she did not; the fireballs had disappeared or were evaded by the girl as she landed back down on the ground, being surrounded by the teachers. These teachers would be perhaps, a little more difficult to handle. ‘Damn you.’
