    Job Sheet:
Job: Why Did the Sky Stop Crying?
    Rank: A
    Job Location: Forgotten Desert
Player Requirements: Two B-Ranks allowed, higher levels allowed. 4 mages max for a team, must be at least a minimum of 30 posts long, 550 word min per post. The monster dice must be rolled a total of 15 times in this thread.
Job Requirements: Help the researchers or guard them as they fix the Water Lacrima on the sky platform that produces artificial rains for the desert. Doing both will earn more .
    Job Description:
Welcome to Project Oasis. I'm Knalla, head of the Magic Science division of the Magic Council. If your reading this, then you want to know just what Project Oasis is. Well, I'll tell you. Were bringing rain to the desert. With regular science, it would be impossible. However, were talking about magic here. Well, a massive magical object, to be precise. We have placed a gigantic water lacrima inside the clouds above the desert sands. It seemed to going pretty well, until there was a freak lightning storm that struck the lacrima and damaged it. I need you to go out there, via airship, and either help fix the damn thing or guard the researchers while they work. The sudden aspect of water seems to be bringing in some strange animals around the work site.

    Enemies:
    Weak: Wyning Gulls
These stark white creatures are very easy to see coming. They don't really do much except screech pretty loudly. This wouldn't be so bad if one or two showed up.. but when a flock of thirty do, they have the power to shake the rivets right out of metal. That's not very good on a sky-barge. So, key point. DON'T LET THEM GATHER ALL AT ONCE!

    Normal: Sky Sliders
These birds are pretty freakin' weird. We've never seen anything like them, to be honest. They are birds, that's for sure, but they have the body of a fish. However they fly and breath air. It's quite..confusing to say the least. Anyway, you need to keep these things away from the sky-barge. We use ballasts of air to keep the barg level in the sky, and the fins..wings..whatevers on these baby's are about as sharp as a razor wire. One wrong burst of air and the lacrima, and everyone on board will plummet to the desert floor below. That's bad, by the way.

    Strong: Some..thing.
Okay, I REALLY don't know how to describe these things, other then ugly. Imagine a lizard with wings, that's not a dragon, but tries to act like one. It's massive, about the size of the barge, and can take a direct hit from B-Ranked lightning bolt and smirk. Good thing it doesn't come around often, or the researchers would have quit a long time ago.. We suspect this thing's weakness is it's wings. If you see it, aim for the wings.

    Reward:
Once the lacrima is fixed, your free to leave. If you only helped or guarded, you will only receive 25k jewels each. If you do both jobs, you will receive 20k jewels each.

    Tap, tap, tap, tap...

A knight in black armor walked towards the door that led to the room to the Pillar of Dancing Blades, a paper in his hand. With a sigh, the man knocked on the door slightly, wondering if the woman was in a good mood. Once a friend of his had a small problem for annyoing the woman while she was in a bad mood. She almost killed him. Nobody even bothered to open the door. Sighing, he knocked again, this time much louder than before. In a matter of seconds, the door opened to reveal a quite short girl, with long, fair raven black hair, tied to the side in a ponytail. She was wearing a white boat neckline shirt, and slim jeans. One of her ears was covered in headphones, which were attached to a lacrima music player, which, for some reason was red and had devil horn and wings, yet resulted adorable. Can I help you? The girl asked, her hand holding her headphones. The knight felt relieved, for the girl wasn't in a bad mood. She didn't even look like a deadly assassin,  like most of the other guildmembers did. At all, she looked like a normal 16 years old girl with an odd, yet cute lacrima player. Handing her a letter he bowed and walked away, leaving the girl there. I should ask Kendrick what scary did he find in this girl...

Janneline Ariel took off her headphones, stopping the song that was playing on her lacrima music player, her gray eyes staring at the paper in curiosity. It was a letter, adressed to her, and it was from the guildmaster. It was not every day that he sent her something, much less a leter. Sighing, she turned it around, opening the package and taking out the paper. Her eyes running through the letters, eyebrow rising. So, she was supposed to go on a request, alongside a Pillar member of her chosing? Intriguing. Leaving her room, all while staring at the request paper, not looking in front of her, a small cat jumped off her bed, looking at her worriedly. Janna, dear, watch out with the... The raven haired girl hit her nose against a door. The yellow exceed sighed, shaking his head. door. He took his han up and facepalmed, closing his eyes and all. Idiot.

Janna separated from the door, glaring, until she noticed that it was Indar Blackshield's door, the Pillar of Annihilation. How opportune. She was too lazy to go find another pillar, and besides, she yet had to go on a request with him. Fixing her headphones and disconnecting her lacrima music player, she placed her headphones around her neck, knocking on the door. Yo, Indar, are you in there? She asked, just as Isao was climbing her leg in order to reach her head and sit on it. Yawning, she placed her lacrima music player in her pocket, petting Isao while taking out a pocky from her pocket and nomming on it. She had gotten addicted to those little snacks awhile ago, and now she would always carry a few of them around. She patiently awaited for the pillar to open the door, and see if he wanted to go with her or not. If yes, then good, perfect, she would be able to withness the power of this man.

If not, Sinali's room was just around the corner.

Private Re: Why Did the Sky Stop Crying? | Private | Indar and Janneline

Post by Indiana Jones on 19th January 2015, 5:56 am

The day had started normally, like any other would have and Indar hadn't seen anything different. Though of course, the Savage Skull hall was something different to literally most people in Fiore or all of Earthland, Indar had really adjusted with the place. Even though he had trouble with it's layout and Indar was slightly embarrassed to mention how many times he had gotten lost in the catacombs. It was kinda just way too many times.

But after waking up and making himself coffee, he had sat down, with a letter in his hand. The letter had been addressed to him, by an unknown person, though the contents of the letter would reveal absolutely everything. So Indar cut the letter open, with a little help from a fancy knife, probably belonging to one of his underlings. Being a head of a pillar, had it's benefits. Though sometimes, he did want to kill off his subordinates, as everyone had gotten on Indar's nerves at a point.

When Indar skimmed through the letter, he lost his complexion. The letter, was from a man he had blocked from his mind, asking to come to meet him and two other people Indar knew well. The two people, Elijah and Shairako, Indar's brothers, were to meet the man at the same time and talk about certain things, that the letter didn't specify. This was incredibly strange for Indar, the mister sending the letter, hadn't contacted him or his brothers for years. He had been out of the life of the three for at least ten years, maybe longer for Shairako than the other two, but still.

Indar fell into thought, he didn't want to meet the man, not one bit, this person had destroyed his life as a child, taken him to extreme lengths, this was no one safe. But at this point, Indar lacked choice, as if his brothers go, he goes. There is almost no family for him left and if there is one thing the Pillar of Annihilation cares about, it's his siblings. Even though he doesn't seem eye to eye with them, there is no need for them to suffer or die. Especially if Indar could save them.

But just as Indar stood up, ready to get going, a knock was heard on the door to his room. This was strange, no one usually knocked, not recently at least, everyone just stormed in. It must have been someone he hadn't talked to for some time. Though he would have never guessed who it actually was.

Indar pulled his trademark jacket on and pulled the door open, only to come face to face with the Pillar of Dancing Blades. This was a total surprise, Janneline was the one person, Indar hadn't expected. He was basically speechless for a second, not able to come up with a single word, but in a moment he answered.

''Janna, nice to see you again.'' He wasn't really in his usual mood, which probably shined through his attempt to hide it. The Pillar of Annihilation, was for a very long time, kinda confused. ''Sooo.., what brings you knocking on my door Ariel?'' He paused for a second, looking at the girl questionably. ''Is there maybe something you need of me?'' Indar realized he may have come off as rude, but this was still Savage Skull, expecting politeness from these mages, was like expecting a lawyer to give you a discount on his service.

Private Re: Why Did the Sky Stop Crying? | Private | Indar and Janneline

Post by Janneline Ariel on 11th February 2015, 9:52 am

Janna stared at Indar as he remained speechless for a few moments when he saw her at his door, casually eating a pocky and holding a letter in her right hand. At a sight such as this one, who wouldn't remain speechless? It wasn't common for Savage Skull members, what's more, Pillars, to appear like that out of nowhere, in front of someone else's room. The communication in the guild was poor, and a very small amount of people actually interacted with one another, and Janneline Ariel, known for always having her trademark aloof, unnaproachable, military-like attitude, was definetly not one of these people that held conversations with others for fun. Yet, there she was, casually in front of the door of a fellow Pillar head of hers, a yellow cat approaching her while facepalming, still. As he finally spoke, Janna was not even surprised by the fact that Indar Blackshield looked quite surprised for quite some time. If he, or Sinali, had appeared so suddenly in front of her own door, she'd be quite surprised, to say at least. Or perhaps not, who knew. For some casuality, it was always her who went to people's doors.

She was surprised, however, when he adressed her by her surname. It was unusual for people to adress her by it, it harly ever happened. Rising her eyebrow slightly, Janna took up the letter for Indar to see while Isao climbed on her back, sitting on her shoulder and pushing some of her raven hair away. Our Guildmaster just sent me this. I am required to go on some random Job, and take a Pillar Head with myself. Prove to everyone that the Savage Skull Pillars are a threat to be taken into consideration, and that merely two of us can cause a chaos. Taking out the Job Request, which even she herself had yet to read, Janna opened it, quickly skimming through the lines in order to get a general idea what they were supposed to do, quickly remembering the letter sent from the Guildmaster. Since I am not willing to bother Sinali, as she may be doing one of her usual experiments, and Kyle... Kyle is a complete pervert, so going on a Request with him would mean that I'd have to spend half of the time fighting whatever I have to fight, and the rest attempting to decapitate Kyle, I considered that inviting you to come alongside me on this job would be the most convenient... for both of us. Janna finished, showing him the letter that Harrigan had sent her, just so to prove to him that it was no joke, and she was indeed being serious with her invite.

Patiently waiting for him to respond, allowing him to take his time with doing it, Janna then proceeded to open the Request sheet once again, her finger traveling from the job description until the client's name. A member of the Magic Council. How intriguing. Knowing Harrigan, Janna supposed that, by ''causing chaos, destruction, and proving the strength of the Guild'', Harrigan had meant killing the Magic Council members upon the job is complete, gaining their trust and the money reward, and then, just getting rid of the pesky clients, members of the Magic Council. Regardless how one looked at it, it was a win-win situation for both Savage Skull pillars, for, given the situation that Janna and Indar completed the Request, and then killed the Clients, not only would they recieve their monetary reward, but also they'd gain more fame around Fiore, and would rise in the eyes of their Guildmaster. Something which would possibly lead to them becoming the most important Pillars in the Guild upon that, which was an Idea that appealed Janna. If you are willing to come, prepare whatever you are willing to take and come down to the Guild Entrance. I'll get a Carriage for myself, and you, of course, if you decide to come, in the meanwhile.

That said, Janna turned on her heels, closing the door to her own room, locking it with key, and quickly, yet elegantly and gracefully, she descended the stairs leading to the Guildhall, making her way towards the Guild Entrance upon that. It was a rather chilly day, a cold, strong wind blowing, making eerie, yet completely natural sounds to be heard around the Spooky Forest, which surrounded the Savage Skull complex, yet which made the building look even more menacing and terrifying than it already was. Clapping her hands, a trick Janna had learned from Aedre Crawford, niece of the Guildmaster and a woman with whom she had went on a Request once, Janna waited patiently until, an elegant, dark carriage appeared, the driver opening the door for the Pillar of Dancing Blades. Good day, Miss Ariel. Are you waiting for anyone else, or are you alone?

Janna leaned against the entrance, waiting for Indar to come. If he didn't appear after five minutes, she was out, she'd go poke Sinali to attend the mission alongside her. I'm waiting for someone, actually, James. So please, wait a few, and then we'll be able to go.

Private Re: Why Did the Sky Stop Crying? | Private | Indar and Janneline

Post by Indiana Jones on 15th February 2015, 3:43 am

Leaning against the door frame, Indar listened to the other pillar with interest. It wasn't every day one would get an invitation to a job from Janneline or to be fair, Indar didn't even really know the girl. They had met once or twice, but that was it. Never had a long conversation or anything, though that was like how Indar was to every member of Savage Skull. Distant, very distant. But this hadn't stopped Janneline, as she kept talking about the issue at hand.

A letter from master Harrigan, Indar took it into his hands, gave it a quick read and handed it back. This truly was an official thing now, but his mind was laughing over the descriptions of the other pillars. They were so dead accurate, that it was hilarious. Those two were a bunch of oddballs, but then again, knowing himself, Indar could be considered under there as well, as his mind wasn't fully at home either. But turning back to Janna and hearing her say to get ready or to basically just stay, Indar's first reaction, was to turn around, wave his hand in a gesture, that basically meant give me a little bit.

With that, Janneline had left, leaving Indar with a closed door behind his back and a quest to find something to wear. He stood there, in the middle of his room, eyes looking around frantically. The place was a slight mess, at least the clothes and dishes situation. The guy was just too lazy to do any chores around the place. He really should make one of his pillar members into a maid. That would really help clear up this area, but at the same time, no one would really be obedient enough to work as a maid here, maybe for a joke, Indar should ask Aedre to do it, but that would probably get him beaten up.

After a few minutes of searching frantically, Indar had elected his regular attire. A dark green jacket, with a hood covering his head and some jeans, with a pair of boots. But before heading out, the guy grabbed Ilvren off the weapons rack, the weapon latching onto his back, with seemingly no straps or anything. It was quite useful having a levitating weapon, the comfort factor was off the charts really.

Making his way down the stairs to the entrance of Savage Skull, Indar had locked the door behind him and summoned his pet to come along with them. Though Ilythiran would just follow deep underground, he would hopefully prove some help in their job. Or the beast would just eat the first human without a Savage Skull mark on sight, like he seemed to do a lot. A very troublesome house pet the beast was, even trying to sit on Indar's lap, which mostly always ended up with a broken rib for Indar.

As the Pillar of Annihilation made it down to where the carriage was, he stopped right in front of it. Looking at it with a questionable face, he hadn't expected a carriage, as he used to travel on foot mostly, but this would be much more comfortable. He looked over to Janneline with a sly grin on his face, his hair poking out from underneath the hood, as per usual. ''So shall we go or are we waiting for someone else?''
