    Job Title: Liberation of Slaves
    Rank:C-rank
    Player Requirements: 1 C-Rank mage or 2 D-Rank mages minimum. Must kill/capture/arrest the 2 heads of the Slaver operation. Minimum 30 posts with 250 word minimum requirement. Must also roll 5 monster dice minimum to summon the boss.

    Job Location: Hargeon Town
    Job Description: Lately there have been slaver's running an operation to kidnap women to be sold to other countries for a tidy profit. This operation must be stopped and the Rune Knights are offering a tidy sum of jewels to anybody that will stop the latest shipment of slaves to leave Fiore. Not only must not a single slave be harmed, but the leaders must be made never to be allowed to escape or this will happen again. The Bounty is for them Dead or Alive, but the Council prefers them alive and will double the bounty if done so.

    We also know the individuals are extremely tough and stealth may be required...

    Enemies:
    Weak:Slaver Initiates x5- These are the fresh new recruits of the slaver operation and each deal individually D-rank worth of damage with their non-magical cutlasses. The will attempt to surround and use their numbers to overwhelm the enemy. The Slavers will run or surrender at displays of B-rank spells knowing they are out of their leagues.

    Normal:
    Slavers x2- These are experienced sword and gun users with a weapon in each hand. The sword and gun deals C-rank damage each. They will fire the gun 3 times a post and ignore D-rank armors and barriers of whoever they are shooting. They will fire at whoever is dealing the most damage and the bullets do travel at 900 MPH making them hard to dodge. They require 1 C-rank of damage to beat, making them a bit of glass cannons.

    Strong:
    Veteran Slaver- They have been doing their job for so long that thThey have earned the jewels to buy themselves Lacrima to use water magic. They also use cutlasses imbued with the same magic, but this magic is not eatable by Water Dragon Slayers due to having salt mixed in all their spells and Abilities, thus making them instead LOSE the magic they were supposed to gain. The water magic itself deals C rank damages and is very malleable to users will. The Blade however deals C-rank damage and continuous D-rank bleeding per post. Requires 3-Crank of damage to beat them.

    Boss:
    Captain Scarlet and First Mate Carver- Captain of the slaver ship the 2 are notorious individuals that have no value of human life. They fight mercilessly and will fight to the death since they know that a hangman's noose awaits them if captured.

    First mate carver is a speed based mage with a pair of cutlasses that look worn after many use and stained with blood of those that opposed him. He will immediately charge at the strongest looking mage at 100 miles per hour and lock the person in melee combat with his blades. Using his magic it allows him to strike multiple times for B-rank damage due to speed and momentum of his blades. It is very tricky to hit him, but he is ultimate Glass cannon as well due to his speed and a Solid C-rank blow at his high speeds will cause major damage.

    Captain Scarlet uses a pair of guns that deal C-rank damage each and is fired 6 times per post and ignores C-rank Barriers and armor. Her shots also explode on contact causing people hit to be blown away from her and causing AoE damage. Living the life at sea made her tough and requires 4 C-ranks to beat her. When knocked down to 3 C-ranks of damage she will attempt to shoot herself in head rather than humiliation of the hangmans noose.

    Reward: 15k jewels and double exp. If both bosses are captured alive then the jewel increases by 30k.


    Kiersa rolled her shoulders a little, her waist still feeling the aches from the tight corset she'd been wearing the last couple of days... although in the end of it all she had come to like the clothing. She just wondered if that was due to her Celestial Spirits influence, along with Aayla's or her own decision. The nun sighed before she set her way down to the docks, checking her next job. Apparently some slavers had been reported working in the area, and the Rune Knights were offering a reward to stop them.

    The blonde nun idly wondered if Mary was working this job as well, or if her duties with the Knights were keeping her busy. She stopped as she got to wondering how exactly she was going to handle this job. Slavery was a horrendous crime, and utterly abohorent... and it seemed like any that would undertake such a life... must be either truly desperate, or downright despicable. "Maybe they'd be open to negotiation and repentance?" she mused briefly before she continued on her way down to the docks. What the nun was not aware of however, was that she was being followed...

    When Kiersa got to the harbour, she looked out across the sea and ships, finding herself with a new puzzling dilemma. "...Which one's the ship I'm looking for..." she said to herself with a sigh as she truly got to grips with the task she was undertaking. "Ye lookin' for a ship sistah? Happens I knows one ye can get aboard... free o' charge." came a voice from behind her. Before she could turn around and look at the person in confusion, a strong grip suddenly held her and stuffed a strange smelling rag to her face. Kiersa's world soon turned into darkness and silence, with only a sickening laugh in her ears.

    The nun's first sensation was of something cold and harsh being pressed against her. More specifically as she slowly came around, the sensations seemed to be focused around her neck and wrists. When she tried to move she heard the clinking of metal, and felt the sheer cold of the air before she truly woke up and realised her situation. She couldn't see what was going on around her despite feeling things on her, nothing but brown fabric in front of her face. It wasn't tied to her eyes though, and she could see there was a small portal of light in the fabric, just over where her mouth would be.

    Kiersa tried to peer through the hole, twisting her head this way and that, making an awful racket as the chains holding her rattled around as she did so. "So," came a voice that made her stop moving instantly, "the little blonde's awake eh? You'll fetch a nice price down in Desierto. Little blonde virgin girls usually do down in them deserts." The nun's face turned a bright red from beneath her hood. "You sure she's even a real blonde?" asked another voice. "Them sultans and bandit lords don't like to be fooled if it ain't the real deal." they said. "Yeah I'm sure... what, you want to check or something?"

    Without a further word she felt her hood being yanked off her head, the sudden light forcing her eyes shut even as she felt hands running through her hair. "Oh wow... that is damned soft! This slave's gonna get us a boatload of jewels. Blonde, smooth hair, soft skin, and still young enough to train right..." said one of the slavers, as Kiersa slowly opened her eyes to get a good look at her captors.

    Standing in front of her was a well-muscled man, armed with a very wicked looking cutlass. The man caught her eyeing his sword and smirked. "You'd like to get your hands on this wouldn't you little girl eh? Cut me and the lads a little?" he asked as he knelt down and took her by the jaw. "Wouldn't do you much good mind... see, we're already out to sea. You were the last catch of the day. Course, we're gonna have to hurt you a little later when we get closer to Desierto... that little blemish on your thigh might make some customers a bit anxious you see." he said, tracing a course and callused finger over her Guild Mark.

    The nun shuddered from his touch, earning a laugh. Just as they were about to hood her again she cried out. "Wait! Don't you want to test me first?" The suggestion came as a surprise to the slaver who peered down at the girl. "Test you?" he asked slowly, trying to figure out if this was a trick. Kiersa bit her lip. "Y-You said you were t-taking me to D-Desierto... w-won't your buyers w-want to know w-what their slaves c-can do?" she asked quickly, trying to keep the make-shift plan going as best she could till she could figure out what she was really going to do.

    The slaver stood there for a moment, considering his options before he made her stand up. "Alright girl... what can you do hmm?" he asked her. The nun gave a quick cough before she spoke. "I... I can dance a little... Aquila's been teaching me..." she said. The slaver raised an eyebrow. "Aquila? Who's that?" he asked, before pulling out a set of keys. Her Keys! "Which ones that then eh?" he asked her. Kiersa slowly came over, being watched by the slaver all the while. She raised a finger and poked one of the Keys. "That's the gate of the Eagle. Aquila!" she called out, the slaver realising what had happened. "You little-" he began to say before a loud chime came forth, followed by a fist into his face. "Mistress, shall I teach this man a Lesson?" asked the Spirit as she stood beside the nun, her hands arcing with lightning magic.

    Description:

    “Open the Gate of the Eagle! Aquila!”



    Aquila tends to be blunt and doesn’t sugar-coat a situation, no matter how old the person is. If she believes you are doing something wrong, she will say so and exactly what it is you are doing wrong. If she praises you, then it is a genuine praise.

    She is usually summoned by those who wish to learn how to dance, and thus usually refers to the times she is summoned as Lessons, even if the situation she has been summoned for is a combat role.

    Casting speed is instant, cooldown is one post longer than the duration of the summon. See strengths and weaknesses for details.

    Passive Ability: Expert dancer, which allows her to dodge any single target/melee ranged attack (once per post).

    Strengths:
    • Can fly up to speeds of 40mph.
    • Is able to empower her fists and feet with Lightning magic which deal C rank damage.
    • If summoned for anything outside of combat, will stick around for a random amount of posts, determined by three dice rolls, minimum 3 posts, maximum 18 posts.

    Weaknesses:
    • Is restricted to close quarters combat
    • Is afraid of fire magic to the point that if confronted with it, be it friend or foe, she will refuse to fight or aid the one using it. Will only aid a fire wielder if ordered directly by her summoner to do so.
    • Will not fight another Celestial Spirit, Dark or regular directly.
    • Will only stay out, if summoned for combat, for a random amount of posts, determined by a Dice Roll post. Minimum 1 post, maximum 6 posts.
    • Can only fly if open to the sky. If inside a building, Aquila cannot fly.
    • If originally summoned for reasons non-combat, but is then drawn into a combat situation, Aquila will remain for one post of combat.

    The slaver snarled as he righted himself. "Alright little brat, no more mister nice guy." he growled as he drew his cutlass. Aquila put herself between him and her summoner, taking up a stance that looked like a cross between the preparation step for a dance, and the ready stance for a martial artist. With his free hand he fired a blast of water magic towards Aquila and charged towards her with his cutlass. Kiersa ducked down even as Aquila gracefully flowed in evading the watery blast, her legs striking out like a scorpion's tail towards the man's gut. He pulled back, dodging the kick but found his face once more being slammed by an electrical fist.

    He growled as he brought his cutlass towards her at near point blank range, its edges shimmering with water magic. "This is your Lesson little mortal." said the Eagle Spirit as she latched a hand onto the weapon. A hand that was covered in her own lightning magic. The slaver let out a guttaral cry of pain as the electricity coursed through his own weapon and into him before he was silenced by a flat-palmed strike to his face, downing him. "Lightning and Water do not mix." she said before collecting the key from his side and heading over to the chained nun. "Are you hurt Mistress?" she asked, Kiersa shaking her head even as she rubbed her wrists and neck. "No... but now we're on the clock..." she said, the Spirit nodding.

    They quickly got Kiersa dressed and re-equipped with the rest of her keys and items before they began to run through the ship. "We need to find the captain." said Kiersa, Aquila nodding. "Your plan Mistress? I hope this Lesson doesn't include you trying to talk to this captain of slavers in their own den."

    As the pair ran through the bowels of the ship they soon came across a group of slavers who were guarding few dozen slaves. There were five in total, but they didn't carry the same air of power as the one that Aquila had downed had. They looked over in their direction and blinked before pulling out their own cutlasses. "Oi! What are you doing out of your chains blondie? And who's the other one? Don't remember grabbing her..." said the middle one. Kiersa looked at the five slavers for a moment before she replied in her own way. "Mind the company Aquila?" she asked, the Eagle Spirit shaking her head and smirking. "Do as you see fit Mistress, assuming you can handle it." she said, the nun nodding. "Open the Gate of the Goat! Capricorn!" she invoked, the Goat Spirit of the Twelve Zodiacs appearing beside her on the opposite side from Aquila.

    The slavers and in particular the slave girls looked at the nun, then at the exoticly dressed woman beside her, who's hands and feet were crackling with lightning magic, then at the Goat-man she had just called forth. The slavers looked amongst themselves for a moment before dropping their weapons. "Screw this... we ain't taking on one of the Zodiacs. Don't pay us enough to deal with that." they said before they moved to the sides. "R-Release the g-girls... now..." ordered the nun, the strain of summoning and maintaining both Aquila and Capricorn starting to take its toll on her. She'd never summoned two spirits at once before, and the experience was not exactly a pleasant one right now. The slavers made their moves to comply and began to release the slaves.

    Capricorn:


    Name: Capricorn

    Description:

    "Open the Gate of the Goat! Capricorn!"



    Capricorn is a tall humanoid, who possesses many goat-like traits: his body is covered in short, brownish white fur, with longer tufts covering his lower face, resembling a goatee, and the back of his legs, which greatly resemble those of a goat, being slightly bent backwards and ending in dark hooves.

    He has short, thin ears sitting on top of his head, with a distinctive, elongated oval form, and horns which curve downwards and jut frontwards framing his face. From his lower back sprouts a mildly long tail ending in a dark tuft of fur, and his fingers sport long and dark nails, highly reminiscent of claws.

    His elongated face possesses marked cheekbones and a prominent, large nose; his eyes are always hidden away by a pair of black, mirror polished shades, with the lenses fusing into a single one, possessing a hollowed part in order for them to rest on Capricorn’s nose.

    The shades, predictably, come with dark arms, which, however, aren’t shown resting anywhere, due to the Mage’s ears being elsewhere. Capricorn possesses prominent, toned abdominal, and, while initially portrayed as lean-built, was later given a more massive, muscular appearance.

    Casting speed is instant, duration is 4 posts, 5 post cooldown

    Abilities: Passive: Magical Mentor; Capricorn has been known to instruct his summoners on ways to improve their magical power. His mere presence gives the Summoner a 30% boost in magical power, and the Summoner's allies a 10% boost. Range is twenty metres.

    Active Ability: Saturn's Strike; A powerful blow with the strength to crack open solid rock. This is an AOE strike that shakes the ground around him, forcing enemies to their knees and backsides, and renders them dazed and disorientated for one post. Area of Effect is radius of ten metres with Capricorn at the centre. Can be used once per summon.

    Strengths:

    Expert in hand to hand combat: Will deal physical damage at summoner's rank + 10%. I.e. if Kiersa is C-Rank, Capricorn will deal C-Rank + 10% damage. If B-Rank, will deal B-Rank +10% damage. etc etc etc. This is a natural boost in power.

    Enhanced Strength: Is able to easily lift people or items no matter the weight.

    Enhanced Speed: Is capable of moving at speeds up to 60mph.


    Weaknesses:

    No ranged abilities.

    Protective. Whenever Kiersa's HP reaches 50% or lower, he will pull back from whatever he is doing and remain by her side. The furthest he will ever move from her is 2 meters.

    Darkness magic deals 20% extra damage to him

    As he is a Zodiac Spirit, he costs more than he normally would and takes up the strongest spell slot.

    With the girls freed, Kiersa nodded to Aquila and Capricorn who both quickly put down the slavers for the count. The Goat Spirit looked over to his Summoner in concern as she leaned against the wall of the ship, the former slaves busy with grabbing the weapons from the out cold slavers. "H-Head for... for the b-back..." said the nun to the girls who looked at her in equal parts concern, fear and awe. "G-Go!" she yelled, the former slaves hurrying to do as their rescuer had told me to. Aquila came over to Kiersa and looked at the girl, a mix of pity and resignation on her features. "We're going to have to work on this little one. Can't have you exhausted and vulnerable each time you summon two at once. A Lesson for another time. Capricorn, I leave her in your hands." said Aquila before she returned to the Spirit World.

    With the Eagles return home, the strain on Kiersa lightened and she slowly recuperated. "Feeling better milady?" asked Capricorn as he helped steady the nun. She nodded to the Zodiac Goat Spirit. "Y-Yes... let's get this job done... Sooner it's done, the better..." she said, the Goat Spirit nodding in agreement before they set off once more through the ship's bowels, trying to find the way up. Eventually they found the steps up. As Kiersa was about to climb up, Capricorn held out a hand to stop her. "Allow me milady. Should there be anyone guarding the other side, I'd be far more able to swiftly deal with them." he said, the nun nodding at his logic. Capricorn ascended the steps, the nun following behind him, and they stepped out to the surface of the ship.

    Since boss roll appeared before five monster rolls were done, gonna have them appear in the place of the fifth monster roll. This one will be a Strong monster.

    Sure enough, there was someone guarding the door to the bowels of the ship. The slaver turned around when the door opened, and saw a large fist hurtling into their face. Before they could question what was going on, their gut was slammed into by a furry suited knee, and then their back cracked by another blow. The Goat Spirit of the Twelve Zodiacs quickly slipped the downed slaver past the door so as to not create a scene on the ship's deck. Once he gave the all clear, both he and Kiersa took themselves outside and found a location to hide themselves in behind some crates.

    "This... is going to be tricky." said the nun quietly, Capricorn only nodding. The ship was covered in slavers, as well as slaves who were working the sails and carrying crates here and there. She looked around the place, trying to figure out where the Captain could possibly be on this ship. "Where's the cabin..." she mused. Right now what she would give to have a sense of smell like Aayla's... Which made her wonder what the Water Dragon Slayer would do if she were in this situation. "She wouldn't have gotten into the situation in the first place..." the nun said to herself dejectedly before mildly slapping herself. "Focus... what would she do..." she muttered.

    The nun had to concede that Aayla would probably start throwing water attacks all over the place... or try to beach the boat somehow. "We need to figure out where we are..." decided Kiersa as she and Capricorn began to scan around to see if they could determine which room was the cabin or the navigational room.
