Entering the cafe, the brunette's eyes roamed the place as she took in her surroundings. Glancing at the job sheet in her hand, she decided to call out to see if anyone was present within the cafe; someone would have to be there for the door of the cafe to be opened, it was probably the owner since it was still 5:30 AM so the cafe was not yet open to customers. "Um, hello? Anyone here? I've come for the job request that you've sent out." As soon as the brunette said that, a female popped her head inside from the back door that led to the kitchen and after seeing the girl, she completely stepped outside with a smile gracing her features. She was a middle-aged woman with blonde hair and quite delicate facial features; no doubt she was beautiful.

"Thank you so much for coming. My name is Grace and this is my cafe. I sent out the job request. As you know, I needed staff for my cafe since my whole staff fell sick all of a sudden or took holidays and I can't bear to miss one day otherwise, I'll get a hefty loss." It seemed as though the woman was talking more to herself rather than to Zoe but the girl listened nonetheless. "Um, what's your name again?"

"It's Zoe, I'm a Fairy Tail wizard." Opening her mouth in an 'o' motion, the lady continued to speak,"Oh, I see. Well, the cafe will open in half an hour so get dressed quickly, I've already prepared the dresses. Come, I'll show you." Leading Zoe to the dressing room, Grace pulled out a pink maid costume from a closet and handed it to Zoe. The brunette looked at the costume and her eyes widened. The costume was absolutely adorable and Zoe's face plastered a smile on itself.

"Like it, now do we." Grace giggled slightly while Zoe nodded a bit, her face a little red from the fact that Grace watched her ogle the dress. "Anyway, you get dressed while I wait outside for the other three to come."

"Other three?" Nodding, Grace said, "Yup, there are three more people coming to help. I think there are two wizards; one from Sabertooth and one from Cor Draco and one Ruin Knight. I'll be waiting at the entrance for them. You get changed." Nodding as the woman stepped outside, Zoe looked back at the maid outfit and shrugged before deciding to change into it.

'Well, this is going to be interesting.'

Amara wandered down the streets of Capital Crocus, clutching a job leaflet in her hands as she made her way towards the place where the job was held. The Cosplay Cafe. She had heard quite a bit about this cafe, it seemed to be very popular with both the locals and tourists in Crocus.

She had to admit as she neared the cafe, a feeling of excitement bubbled up in her chest and put a smile on her face. It had been a long time since she had last done a job, and even then it was some standard job that all mages did. However this job was going to be so much fun, she was going to be able to serve many people and meet new mages as she worked! "Right," Amara said out loud to herself, "I am going to try my best!"

"Good morning! You must be one of the mages that have come to my aid! My cafe is in need of your assistance miss! Thank you so much for offering to help!" The blond women standing outside of the cafe Amara had arrived at spoke in a kind tone as Amara approached her.

Barely able to get a word in as the cafe owner babbled on about her cafe and how all of her staff were currently ill, Amara just stood there smiling until 'Grace' (as she had just introduced herself) stopped speaking."Okay! Got it," Amara nodded and then recounted the instructions she had just been given, "Go into the cafe, put on my maids outfit which I will wear for the rest of the day, wait for the other mages then serve customers!"

"Perfect! Now off you go~ Inside is another mage who you'll be working along side today. Her name is Zoe, get along well!" Grace smiled sweetly before shooing her towards the door then turning back around to wait for the other two mages who were going to be coming.

"Hello?" Called out Amara she the door of the cafe slammed shut behind her. Hearing no immediate response she walked over to where three piles of clothes sat, each with a lable on top with a name scrawled in curly writing. "Riley Nightwalker... Dederik Vonkaiserblitz ...Ah! Amara Adrestia!" Without observing the outfit assigned to herself, Amara began to take her clothes off.

It appeared that Amara had been mistaken, there was infact another person in the room getting changed. However seeing as Amara was taking her clothes off she hardly saw this the time to chat with others and create any awkward moments.

Moments later Amara was fully clothed in her maids outfit, she looked down at herself and blushed slightly. She wasn't used to wearing frilly, girly things for she only ever wore her hunting outfit. However she liked for some unknown reason. Patting down the dress she sat down and looked at the other mage there, properly for the first time, "Nice to meet you, I am Amara." Her words were quite rushed, she became quite awkward when starting conversations with strangers.

"Lets do our best today~" It was unclear whether Amara was speaking to herself or the mage who was next to her, as she waited for her temporary colleagues to arrive.

"Well this is it, Theo" Riley stood in front of The Cosplay Cafe, one of the best known cafes in Crocus. Looking down at her partner, the young arctic wolf, the girl spoke up. "Let's hope that the pay would be enough buy a new apartment." On her last job, Riley had been thrown out of her apartment for not paying the rent on time. This job was the highest paying one she could find and she desperately needed that money.

Clutching the flyer in her hand, she walked through the doors of the cafe only to find it empty. Of course it will be empty as Riley had walked in twenty minutes before the shop opens. But she expected to at least meet the owner. "Hello! Anyone here? I'm here regarding the job request sent." Suddenly a blonde lady comes into view.

"Oh, You're here. My name is Grace and I'm the owner of this cafe.Thank you so much for accepting my job request. As you must know already, all my staff have either called in sick or are having a holiday. I really needed some wizards to help me out. Thank you so so much." She finished with a smile.

Riley politely smiled back. "My name is Riley and I'm a wizard from Sabertooth." Grace looked at Riley "Oh dear, I know who you are." Her gaze shifts to Riley's feet "But who is this?" Following her line of sight, Riley's eyes landed on Theo. "Oh, this is my pet, Theo." Grace's eyes lit up "He is so cute. Anyways why don't you go inside. I've kept out some outfits for you." Riley muttered a quick thank you before heading inside. "She seems like a nice lady. Don't you think?" She asked Theo, who happily wagged his tail in response.

When Riley reached inside, she saw two maid outfits kept neatly on a table. Each had names written on it. "Dederik Vonkaisarblitz.Hm...this name sounds awfully familiar." Riley got lost in thought as she knew she's heard that name before. "Ugh..I should be focusing on the job right now." Her eyes landed onto the other dress. "Riley Nightwalker." She smiled as she picked up her costume. It was a simple knee length black dress, with a white apron on top. She rushed into the bathroom. She quickly stripped down the clothes she was wearing and changed into the outfit. It was really hard to get into it as she wasn't used to wearing dresses.To finish up the dress, she wore the headband kept next to her outfit. She looked into the mirror. She didn't look that bad. It looked pretty cute now that she was wearing it.

She exited the bathroom and turned to the young wolf. "So how do I look?" Theo wagged hit tail before poncing on Riley. She fell down but simply laughed at his action. "Okay boy, I get it." She lifted him up and put him to the side before getting up and adjusting her dress.

Theo Suddenly ran toward the sofa where two girls were seated. Riley hadn't noticed them until Theo ran towards them. 'I wonder if they were there before too.' She thought to herself. She took a closer look at them as realization hit her. "Amara......Zoe......Is that you?."

"I just hope this mission goes well."

“It’s a trap…” The youthful foreign thought to himself as he walked down this country’s capital streets, towards his destination. ““How vould you like to stare at beautiful women all day, dressed up in cute outfits und smiling?”She said. “To be so close to zem at times zat you can smell zeir intoxicating scent, to feel zeir body heat teasingly warming you up as your flesh just barely come within reach of eachother?” She said, right up until she transferred the mission and ended the lacrima call.” He continued to think to himself, mentally mimic the feminine voice that had forced him into accepting the job. When she was involved, it was best to expect some sort of trap.

Entering the café he was greeted with the sight of the owner looking back at him, blinking in surprise as she pointed at the door. “We aren’t open yet, we open in half an hour.” She says in a polite tone. Causing Dederik to blink, so this is what that woman did. With a sigh Dederik pulled out his Rune Knight Identification to show the woman.

“Dederik Vonkaiserblitz, Yes I do realize you spoke vith a voman and nien she von’t be attending.” He said while starting to make his way towards the back room where he expected to get changed.

“Wait wait, there are girls changing in there, and I don’t have any costumes for men yet; the closest one I have is a pira-“
“Zen I vill change here.” He replied casually as his hands reached up to begin unbuttoning his Prussian blue, military uniform. Slowly revealing the black tie and dark grey shirt beneath, causing the owner’s face to flush a faint red as her hands reached out to grip his own to cause him to stop.

“Change in the bathroom, there are windows here!” She said in a slightly panicked tone, causing the foreigner to tilt his head before nodding.
“True… Zen to zee bathroom vee go.” He replied with a smile as his hands turned to grip one of her own and began to lead her off.
“Wait we? No no no, just you I’ll go get the pir-“ She began to say before getting cut off yet again.
“Maid.”Dederik interrupted firmly as he continued heading off to the bathroom, releasing her hand in the process as she looked at him with a bewildered look on her face. Only to take the chance to retreat from it and get a maid outfit. When she brought it to the bathroom Dederik’s hand shot out to grip her arm and pull both her and the outfit in before closing the door. “I vill need your help dressing, zis is my first time… Be gentle~”

Just over a quarter of an hour later the two of them exited the bathroom, having taken far longer than what would normally be required just for a simple outfit change. The owner was carrying a small stack of clothes neatly folded in one hand and a pair of polished black boots in the other. On top of the military clothes was a hat. Her eyes were staring up Dederik’s head with a faint flush as a pair of soft, white cat ears twitched on top of his head. “Still can’t believe they are real.” She mumbled to herself as they began to walk towards the staff only area of the café so everyone could get introduced Dederik was clad in a French maid style outfit, a headband ontop of his short hair as the tip of a white cat tail peeked just out under the skirt. In the front was a white, frilly apron and black stocking coating his legs.

Whilst putting her maid outfit on, Zoe had failed to notice the new presence in the room. It was only when the girl approached her and greeted the brunette did she notice her. And the blonde even recongnized who she was. "Amara-chan!" She exclaimed as Zoe went up to hug the girl. It seemed as though her temporary colleagues were now arriving one by one for after the blonde greeted Amara, another female appeared. And she was another one that Zoe recognized, "Riley-chan!" The girl exclaimed in excitement. What a coincidence it was that she managed to land a job with two of her recently made friends. "What a coincidence that you both are here.~"

The blonde was informed that there were supposed to be four mages on this job; she wondered who the last one would be. These two seemed to be mages from a guild and as far as she recalled, there was supposed to be a Rune Knight as well. Now why a Rune Knight would want to take this job was beyond her but she hoped that this job would turn out to be fun as her present company seemed to be quite enjoyable. Peering over towards the door, Zoe noticed that Grace had entered along with someone behind her who was also dressed in a maid outfit. However, something was off. Zoe scrunched her eyebrows to get a closer look at the individual who had entered and slowly, her eyes widened as realization slapped her in the face. "You're kidding me, right....?" Grace, seemingly having heard that, shook her head and said, "Well, no." Pausing a while after that to glance at the male that stood next to her, she turned to the three females. "Alright, girls, I see that the three of you have already acquainted yourselves with one another and you all seem to get along as well. That's amazing! As for this fellow with me, yes, he is a male and his name is Dederik. He's a Rune Knight, just saying." Turning back towards the door, Grace stopped and said, "Now get along, all of you! I'm going to go open the cafe in a while and I hope you all do a good job.~"

And with that, she left whilst Zoe stared at Dederik and said, "Wow, honestly, I didn't expect to see you again. And you're wearing a maid outfit like us." Scanning his outfit, the mage crossed her arms over her chest and then glanced at his face, an idea popping into her mind. Grinning at Dederik, she would walk over to him and would grab his arm, making him sit on a nearby bench while looking at Riley and Amara though what she was saying was conveyed to all three of them, "Okay, ladies and Dederik, I have an idea. Obviously, if we want to make this cafe a success, we need to have a good appearance. And well, it is without doubt that the three of us are remarkably cute so getting customer attention is no problem for us." Peering at Dederik again, she continued, "However, Dederik needs a little more work to look cute. And therefore, I have this." Walking back to the table, she tapped her fingers on the huge make-up kit that was on the table and grabbed it, bringing it to the three. "So what do you say, Dederik? Ready for some make-up because as a fellow maid, it is our duty to make you look good and your duty to look good."

Amara smiled brightly at the girl who spoke to her and introduced herself, she seemed to be very friendly. Maybe one day her and Amara could be friends, well at least this is what Amara hoped for. Maybe she was being too expecting, however she couldnt deny it was nice to have something to look forward to. A new friend. Maybe she would make more on this job!

However as Amara observed the other mage more closely she saw that she was actually already a friend of Amaras... They had once had a sleepover together! Amara grinned at the memories, suddenly feeling much more comfortable with the mages presence and the thought of working along side her, as she recalled all that had happened at the sleepover.

Before long, the other two mages they were to be working with began to enter the cafe and get changed. The next mage to come in was a girl around Amaras age. As mara had just been thinking about the sleepover she instantly recognized this mage to be Riley, someone who had also shared the fun which was created that night a few weeks ago. However she was accompanied by a small wolf like animal, which she had not had last time. Amaras immediate reaction was to jump back from where she sat and adopt a defensive stance. Her bright, yellow eyes bore into those of the artic pup as she took another step backwards mumbling quietly to herself.

Amara did not even notice the arrival of the other mage, who was supposed to be a Rune Knight but by the looks of things he was a cross dresser who didn't take much seriously, for she was too focused on the animal to move.

She could not even express her fear towards any animal that reminded her of a wolf. He eyes were opened wide and her face was paler than normal whilst her hands shook slightly by her sides. "M-monster... M-murderer..." She must have looked like a psychopath as she mumbled to herself, however the others impression of her was not her main concern.

This sort of thing happened every time she saw a wolf like animal; her body and mind froze whilst she internally had a break down. It was something she couldnt control. Amara alays saw herself as a strong individual however in situations like this, she hated herself for being so weak.

"I-I am sorry..."

Riley was slightly shocked when she saw the white haired man walk in. But what surprised her more was Amara's reaction. Riley's eyes followed her gaze and landed on top of Theo. "She must be scared." Riley thought to herself before she and Theo shared eye contact. He understood what she wanted to say, so without objection, he ran out and back to the hotel. Riley wasn't worried about her young friend. He knew his way around town.

Riley walked over to Amara and comforted her. "I'm sorry. If i knew you'd be scared, i wouldn't have brought him." Riley had a guilty look because she thought of Amara as a good friend. She waited for Amara to calm down but the tension was still in the air. A mischievous smile curved onto her lips as she looked at Dederik. "So Zoe......you were saying something about a makeover?" This was payback. Payback for calling her a fourteen year old.

Riley wasn't good at applying make-up, which happened to be the main reason she wanted to smother that powdery substance onto his face. The memory of him commenting on her diet ran across her mind. She couldn't wait to see how he would look after being decked up as a girl. Riley was too engrossed in her thoughts to take a good look at Dederik. She scanned him from head to toe as she hadn't previously noticed the dress he had on. She tried so hard to control her laughter but failed miserably as she fell onto the floor just looking at him wearing a dress. She did not know what would happen after he was completely dressed.

Dederik’s ruby eyes casually glanced over towards the owner at her pause, their eyes meeting in the mutual glance. “Vat? Zere vas no dress code und everyone else is a maid, now vee all match. It shows both strength und unity for zis café.” He responded idly before the owner continued talking. Causing his gaze to return to the women in the room. “So, it’s the sugar goddess and little girl… The question is, did she know ven she signed me up...” He finished thinking to himself just as Grace left the room, leaving him all alone with the three maids.

His head tilted slightly with his gaze resting on Zoe, a small smirk tugging on his lips as he responds to her. “But zere is one difference goddess of all zat is sugar und sweet, I look better in it~” He replied playfully, watching as a grin spread across her face. When he felt her hand wrapping around his arm, his other hand rose up to casually place itself over her own, as if she was escorting him to a ball before taking his seat that he was lead to. His red gaze briefly glancing over to the woman in fear staring at the animal, before dismissing it as the girl started to speak with her.

At the mentions of make-up and duty all it did was cause his eyebrow to raise up towards her. “… I am in a maid outfit my dear, do you sink I vould squirm at zee prospect of some make-up?” He replies while a hand raises up to pluck a bright shade of violet lipstick from the kit, his lips turning into a smirk up at her. “For instance, zis is my favorite shade~” He says in his ever playful tone before the sound of laughter caused his eyes to shift over to gaze down at the girl on the floor. “… Vay are you here by zee vay, are there not child labor laws in zis country? You should be in middle school. ”

The light blonde haired girl couldn’t help but chuckle at all that was taking place around her. As she had seated Dederik in a chair, a loud movement of someone jumping echoed behind her. The female, Zoe, turned to look backwards at one of her companions who was seemingly, in a defensive stance. Now, why she had opted to take one was what confounded the girl. However, when her sapphire blue eyes landed on the wolf like creature who was in front of the girl, everything made sense. ‘So, Amara-chan’s scared of dogs, eh?’ Whether it made the situation more humorous or worrisome that Amara had started calling the wolf a murderer and a monster, was beyond Zoe.

Her gaze then went on to the owner of said wolf, another companion of Zoe’s; Riley. Well, this would be troublesome. It appeared as though Riley had not known about Amara’s condition as well. They ought to do something about the wolf, otherwise, who knew if their black haired friend would be able to work properly. But it appeared her unspoken plea had been answered as Riley had inwardly told Theo to leave and thus, the wolf made its exit. After all this was over, Zoe’s attention was directed back to the owner of the foreign accent; Dederik. It was indeed, an amusing sight that he had no qualms in applying makeup; in fact, he appeared quite eager too as well. Whether this was a show or truth was something Zoe could still not figure out as he started applying his favourite shade of lipstick followed by a comment in Riley’s direction. ‘Huh, Riley-chan and Dederik-kun know each other? This is quite surprising.’

However, her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door, followed by the head of the manager, Grace peeking in. ‘Oh, great! You all are ready and you all look absolutely marvelous. Now come on, the café has been opened! It’s time to get to work. Oh my, this is so exciting~’ Glancing around at her fellow colleagues, the blonde grinned at all of them. ‘Well, it’s time for us to head out now! Let’s get this show on the road!’

With that, Zoe headed outside of the changing room and into the main hall of the café where at that moment, no one seemed to be present. However, about ten minutes later, it appeared as though the café was finally starting to get some customers. ‘Alrighty, let’s to this!’ With that sheer confidence, the blonde walked elegantly to the door; the way a proper maid should walk. ‘Welcome Master. We’re happy to be at your service~’ However, how was anyone supposed to have guessed that this day would turn out to be anything but pleasant.

Oh, how difficult it was to be maids.

Amara watched Dederik with her bright yellow eyes... Was he gay? ... No.... Camp? ....No... A Pervert? .... Maybe... Such an odd being, thought Amara, her eyes widening as she did so. Why was she even on a job with such an oddball? Not that she had anything against dressing as girls... But he seemed so... Into it... Maybe, thought Amara, her eyes widening even more as she had a horrific thought, this Rune Knight was more feminine than her! That would most likely be true, she was hardly the most feminine girl around- almost always hunting and messing about with Haku. Her activities would not be considered 'girly' in the slightest... Not to mention she ate like a pig.
"Right..." Muttered Amara to herself, "I need to beat this loser... He is stealing my femininity! It is now a competition," she glared at the accent, lathered man and growled under her breath, "And I shall win!"

Only seconds later, as Zoe left the room, Amara sprinted past her, carrying a notepad, pen and cloth which she had picked up just in case, and towards the first person she saw coming through the door. Jumping in front of Zoe, who was already addressing the customer, she bowed lightning fast and grinned up at Zoe's customer, "Good day sir! Welcome to the cosplay cafe ~ <3 Let me lead you to your table!" Her words were incredibly rushed and probably not eligible at all, her smile the clearest think she was offering at the moment.

Riley would've still been laughing if it wasn't for Dederik's comment on her being in middle school, to which she simply glared at him. She had heard enough of his snarly comments to have expected him to say such a thing. She was about to reply back with a lot of wit but was interrupted by Grace, if she had rightly remembered the name of the woman. Seemed like it was time to get to work. The first one to step out was Zoe, followed by Amara who greeted the costumer in quite a chirpy way.

Next way Riley's turn. She glared at the white haired man one last time before leaving the changing room. Seemed like the first customers were being taken care of. Riley adjusted her dress and stood in front of the door waiting for the next customer. A few minutes later, three young teenagers entered the cafe. All of them happened to be boys. The black haired girl quickly put on a fake smile although she had a feeling that this would be hard to keep.

"Good morning masters. Welcome to our cafe. Let me escort you to your table." Her voice was rather polite. The three of them seemed to be looking her over from head to toe. She had to admit that it felt very awkward but she kept her smile intact as she walked in front of them and guided them to the table standing in the middle of the room. The entire time she could feel eyes staring at her. "So what you you like to order?"

“Vee vent on a date togezer, but alas, I had to cancel zee arrangement for fear zat her heart vould fall victim to my humility und loveability. Now she puts on an act of contempt for me to bury her aching heart zat yearns for my gentle caress once again.” Dederik replied in a regretful tone of voice as he described his relationship with Riley to Zoey. His eyes catching the looks that Amara was giving him from the mirror as he resumed his womanly disguise.

With it finished and the time fast approaching for them to get to work he rose up to glance over towards his fellow neko, noticing the glare in her eyes along with catching a few words that she had been muttering. Approaching her his hand reached out to gently caress her cheek, his red eyes gazing down into her own as he speaks in a voice so feminine that it could easily be taken as a female’s. “Glaring vis envy does not become a lady such as you und me. If you vis, I could teach you zee proper way to be a lady.” Dederik says in an tone that borderlined teasing.

With the others leaving the room to do their jobs he followed suit, walking past riley to escort four ten year olds to their table and get their orders.

It appeared as though Dederik had taken the responsibility of escorting and serving the four children that entered the café in a buzz of excitement which made a slight grin encompass Zoe’s lips. Turning her attention back to the customers which she had greeted before by referring to them as ‘master’, it camee to her attention that there were three teenage boys; perhaps not older than or maybe one or two years older; but regardless, it was not a very large age difference. Placing upon her lips a sweet and charming smile, she spoke, “Why don’t I escort you to your seats?” With that, the light-blonde haired mage did as she offered; escorted the three teenage boys over to a table which consisted of four chairs as she watched all of them be seated with a notepad clutched in one of her hand and a pen in the other to take down their orders.

It was then something came to her attention; ever since, these three boys had entered, they were continuously grinning as though they were possessed by the Cheshire Cat and it made the temporary maid wonder what was the matter. However, when they spoke, her attention snapped to the three boys as the smile returned back to her face from her wondering look. They had specifically ordered for a chocolate milkshake for one; a lemon cake with cherry for the second; a vanilla scoop accompanied with chocolate sauce sundae for the third one.

Noting the order down as she clutched the smooth pen in her soft hands, Zoe said, “Aye, I will get these to you masters~” At that moment, one of the boys decided to speak up, finally revealing the reason behind their extremely wide grins. “I have another thing I want to order and that is that your lips look lovely, would they like to meet mine?”

If the blonde had water in her mouth at that moment, she would have splattered it out at the ridiculousness of what had occurred; did he just use a pick up line on her? Apparently, he did. And Zoe had absolutely no idea how to respond to this as her face heated up, making the red quite apparent. “I-I’ll get your orders and be back.” She stammered a bit, rushing out of that particular zone and into the kitchen where she breathed a sigh of relief and internally, smacked herself. Oh well, nothing she could do now; hence, Zoe proceeded with preparing the customer’s orders – except for the one that consisted of her lips – and seemingly, wondered how her other companions were doing about this job.

The black haired female watched as the cafe attracted more and more customers. She turned her gaze back at the teenagers whose order she was penning down. She took a pen from the counter and placed it close to the paper so she could scribble down their order. Riley stood there awaiting the requests of the customers who seemed too busy staring at her. She cleared her throat before repeating, "Sir, what would you like to order?" The three snapped their eye and looked at her before each of them cracked a smile. All three of them ordered a simple burger with different drinks each. "Alright, I'll get your order right away." Riley smiled before walking towards the kitchen to prepare their order. When she was about to enter, she felt a presence behind her. Turing around, she saw one of the boys who's order she had just taken. She looked at him, "Is there anything you need?" The boy just grinned. "Yes, actually i do. I need a kiss, will you give it to me? or do i have to lie to my friends?" Riley just stared at the guy in front of her, not sure how to react to that. "Well....How about I go and get your order first?" Without waiting for a reply, the female rushed inside and sighed.

She saw Grace over there, looking rather upset. Riley walked over, "What's wrong grace?" She looked at the girl and smiled, "Oh nothing, it's just that you'll have to do a little more work. Amara had to suddenly leave." The black haired girl's lips curved into an 'o' shape. The ice mage did not notice Amara's absence outside. She grinned at grace and gave her a thumbs up, "We can handle it." She then paused and remembered the scene which just took place outside the kitchen, "hopefully." She murmured the last word to herself.
