With a solemn look upon his face Damien Marx entered the Rose Garden in search of the passport center. He detested people and venturing to highly populated areas put him on edge. As his appearance was rather plain those who saw him wouldn't give him a second glance. This man wore merely a black tank tucked into simple gray trousers, his dark hair covered by a black hooded cape pulled over the top of assembly. To the everyday passerby he would appear just another simple peasant hoping to get their passport so that they might go on a vacation or travel the world. The only aspect that would cause him to stick out of the crow were his violet eyes. But they carefully remained lowered to the ground, avoiding contact with anyone.

The man glanced up momentarily to search for the passport center. He located the building with ease, not for the fact that it stuck out but, by the tremendous line that was formed at the entrance. With an internal groan Damien tilted his head up to the sky as if to ask the heavens why he was tormented so. There was easily over fifty people in the line leading up the center, if not more. "This is going to take forever..." With a heavy sigh he filed in behind the last person in line. He kept his eyes to the ground merely staring at the heels of those in front of him to guide his way.

The time went by slowly with the people bantering on and swapping gossip. Damien focused intently on shutting out all of his senses in an attempt to ignore those around him. He emptied his mind and mechanically followed the person in front of him as the minutes ticked away. It had been over two and a half hours when a feminine voice broke the fog that had filled his mind. "Sir? Sir? Hello?" With a sharp jerk of his head Damien's eyes flew up to the owner of the voice. Before him stood a curvacious woman in a very flattering uniform for being considered professional. Her body took on the stereotypical hour glass figure that seemed to be so common in Fiore genetics. Her blouse barely fit her breast and she obviously enjoyed flaunting her assets. Why she was working such a low-rate position was anyone’s guess.

"Name?  Date of birth?" The woman looked at him with an expectant look, a hint of agitation creasing her brow. "Uh.. w-what?" The woman’s face twisted to one of sheer annoyance. When she spoke it was as if she was spelling a word to an infant. "Na-me an-d da-te of bir-th." Damien jumped as he finally realized that he was at the beginning of the line. "O-oh..! I.. Damien Marx, April 19th.. The woman deftly began to write in a small leather bound book that Damien could only assume to be a blank passport. "Are you a wizard affiliated with any of the guilds recognized by the magic council?" An obvious question to ask as anyone who was working for a guild would more than likely be using their passport more often than the average person. "Y-yes.. Eclipse Soul." The woman quickly glanced at him, her eyes traveling up and down his body. "I'll need to see your insignia please." Damien's face flushed a light pink color. He had intentionally had his guild insignia placed where it wouldn't be openly visible so that if he need to do any incognito work he wouldn't stick out, but he hadn't considered the possibility that he might need to actually show it to someone. "S-sure.." Damien un-tucked his black tank to reveal a purple Eclipse Soul insignia branded on his right sight just above his hip. The woman simply glanced over indifferently and muttered a polite thank you and told him to step in front of the vision lacrima. Afterward a picture was applied to his passport and he was cleared to go. With a sigh of relief Damien took his passport and fled the Rose Garden as quick as he could and headed for welcome solitude.
