    FAIRY FESTIVAL PARADE

(spectating this thread (which is FT members only): https://www.fairytail-rp.com/t35491-event-fairy-festival-parade-thread-performers-only)

This was a day of celebration…

    To celebrate the Fairy Festival…

    To have a good time…

To unwind and strengthen the connection between citizen and wizard…

Today meant to celebrate between Magnolian citizens and their Fairy Protectors, to bring joy and entertainment to those who had been with them in heart and spirit, whether if they were inhabitants here or came from elsewhere, and likely for the veterans around - to close the wound of an event so long ago… when thinking about it, Mura felt so passionate and relieved inside. He was obviously present at Sorano’s intro as a huge platform was placed in front of the exposed guild hall. Their ‘infamous slash famous’ bar was open for the public, and everything seemed to joyous and eager. More eager than the former, though, for the day had just begun.

People from Magnolia - of course - as well as Hargeon, Crocus, Galuna Island, Enca, Hosenka were within his recognition field. The main street was especially crowded, which just meant that Nessa and the others would have a lot of eyes on them when they performed the parade. He hoped that none of them would suddenly develop a fear of spotlight and faint in the middle of the performance…

Floats were being prepared to cross the street where he found himself at. Sorano had taken extra good care of her ties to the companies who provided the floats for today, so they were likely going to be specially made for the occasion. He knew that several wizards from his guild, not only Nessa, would perform with sparkly, eye-catching wonders alike those at the circuses that he once went to. It was a great day for the wizards here, too, because they could stretch out and show what they got - and he had his duty as well alike the parade girls.

Not only Magnolia’s population would be here, he knew so much. When he thought about it, though, a glimpse of hope struck his heart about a certain someone’s presence… but nah, maybe he was hoping too much. And as such, he stood among the crowds of people who were applausing Sorano’s speech as her face was shown on all the screens around the town. Her speech summarized the plans for today’s event as such:

First - a parade through the main street with the best quality floats from entertainment companies with special performances by yours truly, Fairy Tail!
Second - either enjoy the booths set up along Dragonborn Lane and Main Street with friends and family, or watch select Fairy Tail Wizards duel with wizards from all around Fiore!
Third - glowing cherry blossom trees will emerge and cover the sky with glamorous color! Fioreworks, nighttime activities and lots and lots of drinking at Fairy Tail’s bar will be present to signal a good finish to the event!

Now, he simply stood and awed at the sight that was coming to him, among his dear neighbors and allies… the festival had now begun!

    Arcadia as Ice Dragon Wyrmling:

Approaching invisibly, Arcadia temporarily suppressed the natural cloudless snowfall that occurred around her while in dragon form. The wyrmling of living ice dives down toward the gathered crowd, producing the same illusion of a powerful burst of ice and snow they would have sen on the large viewing lacrimas spread around. Simultanesously, she allowed the cloudless snowfall to start again. The wyrmling came within height of a small child above the heads of the crowd before she pulled up, trailing her contrail of illusionary sparkly silver glitter. The glitter left nothing behind upon landing down below.

Circling around once as she reclaimed altitude, Arcadia let out a roaring geyeser of ice and mist skyward. With another illusionary burst of ice and snow, she rendered herself invisible again, and flew back toward the parade floats.

Artemis strolled through the streets of Magnolia, having recently noticed the posters the Fairy Tail guild had put up, he was intrigued. It was a little corny but it was still a party right. Everything was oddly quite at the moment, he hadn't heard from the family in a while and even Morte was sitting quietly recently. Most likely cause there's wasn't anything exciting going on lately, he would probably need to go on a job soon to please the demon's need for excitement but that could wait. He wanted to have a bit of fun first, he arrived at the hall, blending in amongst the crowd. He had his hood up, headphones dangling around his neck, and a tank top consisting over purposely tears that reveal white fabric beneath. Some dark jeans and trainers to match. He hadn't been sure how to dress for a festival, so he had gone with casual. His hands pushed into his pockets, he watched as the Guild master announced the events, raising a brow, Isn't she a little young to be a guild master…? He thought casually. Still he didn't know nor care enough to learn about the Fairy Tail guild.

However,it would be interesting to see if they could host a good party. The majority of the events didn't strike his fancy, but booze and food was always good. Plus there was going to be a fight, that could be an interesting watch, maybe he could find a local bookie and make a few bets. Depending on who was fighting, when the girl mentioned the half price booze, Artemis cheered along with the crowd. Now that was what he was talking about.

As the doors opened he followed the crowd outside, beginning his inspection of the booths. He immediately found a stand selling draft beers, ordering himself one. Walking along, he glanced over at the parade. Admiring the girls performing, they we're pretty hot, although he wasn't sure how old they all were, some of them definitely had to be too young. His hand shot out, catching one of the pieces of candy that the dark haired hottie was throwing out. He brought it down in front of him, raising a brow before pocketing it. He turned away, continuing along to look for a food stand.

    What happened

    just now
    ?

    I closed my eyes
    &
    the world

    shifted
    EVENT!
Sorano made her way down from the podium, curious as to see what exactly her guildmates had decided to do for their floats. Edging along the side of the guild building, the letter mage watched from one of the cleared-off areas in front of the hall, sitting down on an outside park bench. It was a good thing she was the guild master of this thing, wasn’t it? She managed to get herself a premium viewing of the whole thing, with barely any distractions around her. Looking down the street from the invisible barrier that walled off several areas around the guild hall, the letter mage could see crowds of people cheering as the first float came gliding out of the hall, magical holographic wheels turning and carting out Arcadia’s float.

For a moment, the guild master was taken off-guard by the girl’s unusual appearance. Naturally, Sorano had known that her ace was a dragon slayer and could thus assume this sort of a shape, but seeing it was quite different from knowing. While the girl had come out normally enough, dressed adorably in a sequined blue dress atop a tower of blue and white paper flowers. It was a gorgeously crafted float, and immediately oohs and ahhs could be heard from the audience. Complicated structures had been meticulously crafted out of the artificial iceberg, likely for tricks later on. From what she remembered, wasn’t Arcadia an excellent indoor sledder? Yet a moment later, even that would be trumped by the girl’s sudden transformation into an ice dragon wyrmling, wowing the crowd and drawing up a huge round of applause, including Sorano’s herself. It was truly a magnificent entrance to the proceedings – she’d been right to trust her mages on this.

A couple of art gallery and organization floats came out afterwards, sheafs of paper, flashing lights, powerful singing and dancing would accompany these, getting everyone excited and up on their feet, clapping and dancing along to the music as the parade proceeded on. But soon enough, Fairy Tail’s next float would appear, Mia’s float making its way out of the guild hall adorned in sweets of all different types. The colorful containers of the candies would instantly draw the crowds’ attention, and as Mia began distributing the desserts in tosses over the side, there was a wild scramble and roar of cheering as people dove for the delicious candies. An excellent idea for involving audience participation. Sorano reached her hand up to pluck a cherry hard candy out of the air herself, tossing it into her mouth as she watched the parade continue.

Next in the sequence of floats came their resident Water slayer, Althea’s display. Despite the girl seeming rather, well, absent at times, the result of her creation was truly a sight to behold – though an unexpected one. One would think a water mage would make a float about that, wouldn’t they? But obviously this kid’s float operated in a different way, with a giant literal candle floating down the street. Thinking back to what she’d heard about the planning meetings with Althea for this, Sorano blinked hard, thankful that she wasn’t really throwing roasted squirrels down at the crowd. The reaction would have been rather disastrous, and frankly, she was not in the mood to deal with that sort of stuff on a day like this. The amount of spells it must have taken to ensure safety of this float would have been massive as well…the guild master groaned inwardly, imagining the cost of this whole affair, but clapped along weakly with everyone else.

Finally came Nessa’s float, the starlight mage looking radiant in an outfit reminiscent of that of an idol’s. Music would seep out from the magically enhanced speakers, bursting out clearly into the air as the ace began to dance gracefully, waving her hands and spinning easily. It was obvious she’d put a lot of effort into her performance, as starlight began to stream from her fingers, surrounding her in glittering ribbons. Her intricate dance was absolutely crowd-captivating, and people reached out in awe as streams of light spread out to reach them as well. The first part ended in a beautiful burst of fireworks, and roaring applause burst forth. Nessa had done an excellent job as always. The guild master nodded, satisfied, and stood, looking to find someone to talk with, or explore the booths. After all, she did want to get in some sort of fun today.
    HAVE FUN, EVERYONE!

    Okami ~ Kamiki festival:

How long had it been? 3 months? 6 months? An year? Julius couldn't remember and couldn't care less, but today would be the day he'd be returning to Magnolia town! And not just for an normal occasion in Julius' travels he had seen flyers and posters for something called "The fairy festival" Julius had never heard of that festival, but apparently it's an annual festival being organized by the Fairy Tail guild. Ah Fairy Tail... The first place I could call home when I arrived in Fiore... It sure had been a wild ride... Julius reminisced of the past when he arrived in Magnolia town, he was very nervous back then and had that nasty habit of referring to himself in the third person. I was 17 back then... Yet I still acted like some child... What a fool... In the time Julius was gone he grew to be more harsh to himself, a new habit that slowly is bringing him down, which is why he decided to go back to Magnolia! To see if he could re connect with some old friends.

Julius could hear the festivities in the distance. One hill was in the way of reaching his old home. Julius couldn't contain himself anymore and took a sprint up the hill. Oi Julius! Wait for me! Just what is going through that kid now? Squable said as he tried to keep up with Julius. Oh quit your yapping, Squable... I'm back guys! Julius said as he looked over the town. The town looked gorgeous with the lights, decorations and the floats going through the streets. Let's go into town and see if we can find some old pals. Julius said as he flamboyantly walked down the hill.

Arriving at the street where a parade was being held, Squable was admiring the floats the guild members of Fairy Tail had created. Oi Julius... You have to look at how pretty all the floats look! Julius? Julius? Squable tried to get the blond pirate's attention, but Julius was occupied with something else. Yeah, yeah... Sparkly floats, whatever... Julius scanned through the crowd to see if he saw someone familiar but to no avail. Julius do you have any idea how much work these people must have put into making these floats? Hey are you even listening to me? Squable kept yapping at Julius but he didn't really paid any attention to Squable. Julius was about to walk away and go deper into the town, he noticed a familiar girl. Walking closer Julius could see his former teammate and current guildmaster, Sorano. Time really flies by, doesn't it Sorano? I must say this guildmaster aura you're having really suits you! Now how about you give an old friend a hug?

Post by Masha 16th November 2018, 5:27 pm

Masha was beginning to doubt the wisdom of coming to the parade. At least coming to the parade with all of her freaking contractees. She couldn't hear half of what the guild master said. They were like little children, preventing her from really enjoying the parade. At least they all appeared human. Apparently, Lord Frost had demanded they all learn it to blend in when Masha needed to be stealthy. She refused to tell them how much the gesture touched her heart. That would only inflate their egos and some of them had quite large egos to begin with.

Mercedes, Masha's young red dragon, looked like a cute little redheaded girl. A spattering of freckles dusted her nose and she looked at the world with wide blue eyes. A green sundress clothed the dragon's human form. She almost looked like Masha's daughter and more than a few people had commented as such. Mercedes always glowed when someone said something, bouncing in Masha's arms. Luckily, despite being the youngest, Masha hadn't had too many issues with her.

Dewi, Masha's adult black dragon, appeared to be a black haired beauty. She was clothed in a a wife beater, black skinny jeans and a leather jacket. A few piercings decorated her face. Masha had noticed she spent most of the time sneering down at any male or female that approached her. The unfortunate part was Dewi kept gathering her shadow breath whenever someone got too annoying. Just like now as some smooth talker attempted to pick the dragon up. "Dewi!" Masha hissed. The dragon shot her a look. Masha made a vicious cutting gesture. The dragon rolled her eyes and disappeared into the crowd. "Damn it, Dewi. I'm supposed to be having fun too." Masha pouted.

A hand brushed her shoulder. It was Aodhfin. Masha's breath vanished. The phoenix looked like a beautiful male, with all the right muscles. White hair swept back from his brow before falling to frame burning orange eyes. If Masha hadn't known it was Aodhfin, she would have tried to pick him up a while ago. All that tan skin showing from the phoenix refusing to wear a shirt. Aodhfin was glad only in a pair of faded jeans. It was drawing a lot of attention to him. "I'll watch her, Masha. Don't worry." He slipped off into the crowd. Masha scowled at the flock of girls that followed. She had a feeling Aodhfin would have some trouble of his own before long.

Masha reached out and snagged the collar of a nice blue suit as someone tried to slip by her. "Lord Caius Frost." She said icily. "Not thinking about latching onto yet another girl, are we?" The vampire somehow managed to pale despite his nearly white pallor. His shocking blue hair was cut short, combed back. Perhaps that was why Masha had had to drag him off of three girls already. The vampire could not keep his fangs to himself. "You forbid it, mistress but uh... there's candy in that direction!"

    "You sly little-"
"Candy!" Mercedes shot out of her arms. Masha didn't bother calling out to the little dragon girl. Caius had known exactly what he was doing. She shot him a murderous glare before running off. "Mercedes! Mercedes, come back! We can get the candy together!" The succubus skidded to a halt when she finally found the little dragon disguised as a girl. She was tugging on the pants leg of someone Masha recognized. She could still feel the imprint of their dancing, the taste of his tongue. Artemis Dagger. The succubus could barely focus in on what Mercedes was saying to the hunk. "-use me, sir. May I gets that candy you getted? Pwease?" The redheaded child held out her hands to Artemis, the picture of innocence. Little troll. The dragon could speak perfect English but she was finding talking like a human baby was getting better results for her. Masha was torn. Did she retrieve her dragon child and bump into the man she'd been fantasizing about for a while? Or did she leave Mercedes in Artemis' hands? The succubus bit her lip, unsure of what to do.

Post by Leona Jarnefeldt 17th November 2018, 1:06 pm

After the adventure in the cultist temple in Spooky Forest, Leona took a day off. She heard that there was a festival in Magnolia Town that was being hosted by an old ally, Fairy Tail. She took a shower and dressed in a new green-and-gold outfit that was sent to her by her mother Sophia. The only downside was the skirt. It had been years since she had last worn a skirt.

Leona carried her backpack and Nightshade Machete. She also wore her Argent Gloves in case trouble came up. It felt good to have all her equipment again. Leona walked into the foyer of the guild hall and notified a staff member that she was going to Magnolia Town. The member nodded and jotted a note for everyone.

Stepping outside and summoning her harpies, Leona then flew to the outskirts of Magnolia Town.

    -In Magnolia Town-

Leona landed on the outskirts in order to reduce the number of people who might be accidentally flashed by the Silver Wolf Guild Master. The harpies waved as they vanished. Leona then joined the crowd and walked into town in order to see the festival.

Leona made her way into the festival area, which was thronged with people. She had just missed the floats but was in time to see two familiar faces in the crowd. They belonged to Artemis Dagger and Masha Dymonrel. Artemis used to be part of Silver Wolf until his departure several months ago. Masha was her partner on the job where she fought with angels in a "trial" to determine if the pair were demons or not.

The blonde decided to hang back and let those two have fun on their own. She had heard something of interest that had gotten her attention. There were going to be duels where outside mages could challenge particular Fairy Tail mages. Leona was excited about the possibility of dueling a Fairy Tail mage. She had always wanted to see what they could do in a fight.

Leona had gotten a glimpse of their power when she worked alongside Nessa Cordelia Lux and Arcadia Fairchilde. Alongside Haraka Omaras and Johann von Weiss of Onyx Moon, they fought against and successfully defeated the pumpkin tower and a host of its minions on Celestial Sanctum in a harrowing nighttime battle. Both Nessa and Arcadia were formidable mages; she hoped that if she entered the duel, one of them mages would be her opponent. If not, she would gladly duel any Fairy Tail mage.

    Starting Appearance:

Aranea had been delighted to find her personal lair in the East Forest had not been discovered as she had feared. She hadn't really gotten to hunt since joinng the West Fiore Trading Company. She had stuck around her new home in Tolgalen as long as she could, but with her vow to not treat any mortal who calls Tolgalen home or works for the WFTC, she had to go without consuming any new dreams of mortals the whole time.

She wasn't in danger of fading into obliviion yet, but if the exiled celestial spirit waited too much longer to fill herself with fresh energy from mortal dreams, she would be. Fortunately she happened upon a pair of wold-be bandits camping out in the East Forest on her way to her cavern lair there. She was sure not many in the mortal world would miss them.

Renewed by their dreams coursing through her, she felt more real and connected to the mortal world already. Being more grounded, she also thought a little more clearly. An important realization made all the easier for it. She really did need ot find a new cavern for her personal lair now. It was too dangerous to go hunting around the town under the protection of another mortal wizard guild her own new home called allies. For her own sake, she decided it as safest to consider mortals under the protection of Fairy Tail and Silver Wolf to be off limits the same as she already considered mortals under the protection of WFTC. Those bandits's dreams would have to be her last meal around Magnolia.

For now, she srolled in into Magnolia proper from the edges of the East Forest. While flying from Tolgalen, she had seen posters in a couple places she stopped to rest, and figured she may as well check it out. She arrived in time to hear the Fairy Tail guildmaster's opening speech. The young blonde blended in with the throng of people along the parade route, rather admiring each of the floats. She jumped and dove after her share of the sweets being tossed out, following that float a little way down the side of the street for a small collection of candies."Now we're talking."

Artemis sipped on her cool draft beer, admiring the food stands, he was tempting to get a hotdog on a stick. A little crass but when you had grown up on fancy gourmet, and strict eating regimes, a little junk food was always a nice treat. As an adult, he enjoyed the indulgement of it, although there was a lot of other nice stalls he to choose from. He had to admit, the Fairy Tail had created a pretty decent set-up. It was just a shame he didn't have anyone to party with right now, but that was likely his own doing. He tended to head out on his own often, and he didn't have a close knit-group of friends. The people he didn't consider pals at the least usually hung out in the same boring establishments as they always did. There wasn't a great deal of adventure with those guys, Artemis was much more of a get out and explore kind of guy.

Normally he would sense people approaching whether it was from hearing them or smelling them. However there was so many body milling around the festival, it was hard to get a read on anything. The music, and the cheering grounds made for a lot of background noise, and everyone's scent combined with the smells from the food stands were hard to sift through. This was why he didn't notice that someone had approached him, he had no idea she was there until he felt a tug on his clothes. He looked down to see a little red-headed girl was looking up at him. He stared down at her for a moment, before realising that she just wanted the candy he had caught. That was fine wasn't it, although there was someone uncomfortable about giving a random child a piece of candy. He didn't look like a creep but he still didn't want to give anyone the wrong message.

Artemis reached back into his pocket and handed her the candy. Leaning down slightly to talk to her. "Sure here ya go, but er... maybe be a little more careful about strangers... where are your parents?" He asked awkwardly, not really sure what else to do in this situation. As there was a little breeze, a scent hit him. Something familiar, he paused for a moment, his expression going blank. He glanced up, past the girl in front of him. The sight of red hair in the distance, he spotted her. The redhead from the dance competition. A smirk grew on his face at the sight of her, Well hot damn...

    A festival... really?

Amalie's black boots clicked against the tarmac, as she stalked along the parade. This was all so jovial, why had she even come to such a place? Was it boredom? Was it a momentary lapse of sanity. It was little reckless, being out at such a public event. But still, she doubted Charles would ever attend such an event or even fathom the possibility of her being there. He knew her well enough to know she hated this sort of trivial affairs. Maybe it was a sense of guild pride, she was an official member of the West Fiore Trading Company now, behind going out a representing her guild would be a good thing, plus Fairy Tail was one of the guilds they were allied with was it not? Perhaps it would be beneficial to see what they were capable of, although she doubted she would ever reach out to such a set of individuals. She struggled to mingle with her own guild, let alone another. But still, connections would be beneficial.

She shifted her woolly coat up onto her shoulders, she wrinkled her nose at the smell of the booth food. She didn't like eating in public, it was a weird quirk, but her relationship with food was unique. Her lack of it growing up meant she wasn't the best eater, she often ate too little and didn't have much of an appetite. She never could understand the need to overindulge and couldn't even stand the thought of food waste. Which there would undoubtedly be a lot of tonight. The idiots around her would likely stuff themselves silly, gorge on too much and end up throwing away what was left. It was a shameful thought but a realistic one.

She spotted a woman in the crowd, a young blonde woman in a green outfit. Amalie's ice-blue eyes narrowed for a moment, she recognised the woman. It was the relatively newly appointed Guild Master of Silver Wolf. Another guild in alliance with the West Fiore Trading Company. Hmmm She was intrigued, what did renowned as far as Amalie was aware, it was more about gathering information. They had something to do with studying Artefact perhaps, she wasn't entirely sure. Deciding this would be the only potentially beneficial action she could make at this moment, aside from heading home. She began to walk across the crowds, towards the girl. Paying no attention to the Parade, she wasn't interested in theatrics. Albeit the Ice Dragon was admittedly a curious sight.

"Excuse me, My name is Amalie West, I'm a member of the West Fiore Trading Company, you wouldn't happen to be Leona Jarnefeldt would you?" She said in a civil manner.

Post by Masha 21st November 2018, 4:07 pm

Masha knew the moment she had been spotted. Heat flushed through her body. That little smirk on his face was a sure sign the hot hunk remembered her. Of course, Mercedes made things a little more awkward. Maybe. Sort of. Oh who was she kidding. She didn't care if it was awkward or not. She wanted to know if the guy she'd been fantasizing about liked her in return. Even a little bit. Masha adjusted the bandeau bra that kept her chest in place. Not that she needed to. The succubus merely wanted his eyes on her chest. The vest, worn for a little bit of modesty, was pushed back to give him the full effect. The short shorts could be pulled into it later. Maybe the stockings too. Masha was already fantasizing and she hadn't even approached Artemis yet. Gotta get her head in the game.

The succubus strut across the distance, dodging people and ignoring the wolf whistles. She stood before Mercedes and Artemis. The breath seemed to escape her lungs. The words escaped her. She couldn't think. Mercedes however, was in full control of herself. The little dragon girl hugged her legs. "Mama! Dah Nice man gaved me candy! See?" She held out a tiny hand with the candy in it. Masha scowled down at her. Mercedes knew full well who Artemis was. The little dragon was apparently quite the eavesdropper. "Don't you even start, Mercedes. You ran away from me. Without warning. You also manipulated Artemis into giving you candy and you know full well I'm not your mother." Mercedes stuck her lip out. The succubus sighed, stooping to pick the little girl up. She swept her hair behind her ear with her free hand.

"Uh Artemis. Hi. Uh. Um. This is Mercedes. My little dragon. I'm not her mom. I'm not a mom at all." This wasn't going at all how she'd imagined their reunion. In her head, it had been hot, steamy. Instead, she was a rambling mess. Masha took a deep breath. Time to "I'm glad to see you. I can't stop thinking about that night..." "Ooooo is that the night that... the baby was made?" Mercedes asked in a loud whisper. She'd dropped all pretense of baby talk. A fierce blush covered Masha's cheeks and her jaw dropped open as she finally looked at the little dragon. There was an impish grin on Mercedes' face. "Mercedes! Tell him that was a joke! Tell him it was a joke right now!" Mercedes looked innocently at Artemis. "It was a joke, Mr. Dagger." The little dragon leaned close to Artemis, gesturing for him to lean down. "But not really! It's yours! Congrats Daddy!" The blush spread quickly across the rest of Masha's face and she covered it with her free hand. What had she done to deserve this?

----- Fairy Festival [SPECTATOR THREAD] ----- Empty Re: ----- Fairy Festival [SPECTATOR THREAD] -----

Post by Hania 21st November 2018, 4:32 pm

The young red head couldn't remember the last time he was allowed to go out on his own without some tutor breathing down his neck, it was almost like he was being groomed to be the next heir in line of his family but that unfortunate honour had fallen to his elder brother Artemis. Then again it had never stopped their parents comparing them to each other and pointing out failings that one had that they other didn't. He knew it annoyed himself this happened so guessed his older brother had felt the same on the matter, it was never nice to have every little thing pointed out especially when it was against your own siblings. He understood that their family held a lot of influence and that appearance was everything in their social standing, in honesty it was so very tiresome to always seem perfect, making good impressions with the right people while going against what you actually wanted. He envied his elder brother who was out on his own but he was to young to be out from his parents grip completely; soon he knew that marriage would eventually be brought up and that was a conversation that he really wasn't looking forward to, this was due to wanting to marry out of love not convenience for his families standing.

He had been travelling for hours it seemed to finally get to Magnolia, he had managed to convince his family to believe that this would be a perfect time for him to rub elbows with well known mages and perhaps even make acquaintance with some within the West Fiore Trading Company and broker a meeting for a potential business proposition. In honesty he didn't care about any of those things he just wanted to feel normal for a day and if this was the only way to get a bit of space to breath he would lie his ass off. He had hoped that he would even see his elder brother but given how busy this place seemed to be at the moment he knew they could walk right past each other and not even notice one another. "Last time I seen a festival this busy was at the announcement of who jay mah wotsit's wedding." he said to himself in a thought filled tone "That reminds me I really need to buy a wedding gift for them at some point but it won't be today." he said continuing to walk down the street taking in the smells, music and dancing a smile on his face as he enjoyed the energy in atmosphere.

At the moment he wore a black pair of trousers, white shirt, white overcoat with some red and a black blazer on the collar of his shirt sat a pin with his families symbol and around his neck hung a cross. He was a spiritulist and for some reason just having it around his neck made him feel at ease though he had no idea why. He moved to a near by stall and bought some rock candy placing it into his pocket so he would have something sweet for the way home. "Never know I might actually find a guild I want to join while I'm here too." he said moving his hand through his red hair. He stopped as he seen his elder brother and chuckled walking towards him once more but seeing another going to him caused him a moments pause as he didn't really want to interrupt him and the one he was talking to even if it had been several months since they last saw one another. 'I could catch up with him later I suppose.' he thought to himself as he turned to walk away, he was glad his brother was happy and understood that it could be months until he even got time to see him again but he knew that between family obligations and being a mage this was just the way of things.

Leona was busy being excited over the duel portion of the event. She knew that she should not be excited over a duel, but part of the blonde always liked a good fight. With the duels being regulated and medical mages almost certainly on standby, it would be a low-stakes affair compared to the life-or-death fights she had been getting into. That would be a welcome break. She could fight someone just for bragging rights, not for the fate of Earthland or for her life.

Then another thought hit her. As Silver Wolf's Guild Master, she would make the guild look bad if she lost. She had spent the better part of her mage career undertaking increasingly dangerous jobs to build up Silver Wolf's reputation. One loss might jeopardize all of that work. Now the blonde was uncertain as to whether she should partake in a duel.

After a few moments of panic Leona settled down and made a decision. She would participate anyway. She wanted to see if she could help Silver Wolf stand as equals to Fairy Tail and West Fiore Trading Company. To reach that goal she would have to take risks. She could not play it safe forever and risk Silver Wolf being seen as nothing but a pawn of stronger guilds.

Leona's thoughts were interrupted as a tall young woman with long blue hair approached her and mentioned her name. The bluenette's name was Amalie West. Leona had seen Amalie at the Autumn Jamboree but never got a chance to talk to her. Once she identified herself as part of West Fiore Trading Company, the blonde knew that she was among friends.

"Yes, I'm Leona Jarnefeldt, the Guild Master of Silver Wolf." Leona confirmed.

"What can I do for you?" Leona asked Amalie. It was important to keep up good relationships with Fairy Tail and WFTC. Silver Wolf had benefited from the alliance and Leona was always willing to return the favor. She had to get around to sharing the locations of Written Antiquities and Jobaasa's Rare Tomes with the two allied guilds some day. Her thoughts were disrupted when a red-haired guy bumped into her while walking.

"Sorry about that, mister." She apologized to him. Leona paused in place as she looked at him. Except for a few minor differences, he looked almost exactly like Artemis Dagger.

"If you'll forgive me saying so, you look kind of familiar." Leona said to the red-haired man.

Artemis had to admit, he was thoroughly enjoying the view right now, and why wouldn't he. The red-head, Masha, was just as attractive as he remembered, maybe even a little more so. Those delicate features, those come hither eyes, and that body. It was all such a tasteful little package, he most certainly hadn't forgotten her in the slightest. With most of his women, sharing a kiss might've been enough for him, it was a win of sorts. But not this girl, she was the kind that left you wanting more, no appetisers for this meal, he wanted the whole juicy fucking steak. It was clear from her response, she hadn't forgotten him either. For one she was looking straight at him, and those eyes weren't hiding anything. The way she strutting over to him, made him temporarily forget the child he was talking to. His red eyes locked on her as she approached, he straightened back a little.

"Well fancy bumping into you," He began, she didn't say anything, because before she could the little girl piped up. It took Artemis a moment before he realised what was sad, his eyes widened and he darted down at the girl. Before looking back at Marsha, before glancing back at the girl. She's a mum? He thought, that he hadn't expected. It wasn't that he had an issue with mothers, it was just that, she looked so young. However the girl was similar in appearance to her, maybe she was a young mother or older than she looked. Before his thoughts could continue, Masha addressed the girl. Addressing the fact she wasn't actually her mother, he grinned at the interaction between the two of them. Masha had played it so cool that night, it was interesting to see her a little rattled. He chuckled at the comment, "Daddy huh? Funny, I don't recall the process required to be one of those," His eyes raked her body for a moment before returning to her face, "And I sincerely doubt I would forget something like that." He said in a slightly husky tone, the thought of how much fun they could have experienced, if things had escalated that night.

Alas they hadn't, and Artemis wasn't even sure he would get to see her again, yet here she was right in from of him. It was a curious coincidence. "A dragon huh?" He said glancing back at the girl, "Cool," He had a strange feeling he was missing something right now. There was another familiar scent in the air but he couldn't focus on it right now. Having Masha in front of him was just too damn distracting.

Post by Amalie 23rd November 2018, 1:37 pm

The woman confirmed her identity as in fact the Guild Master of Silver Wolf. It was curious, she looked even more youthful and delicate up close, it was only her styled armour that suggested her fighting capabilities. But Amalie knew full well how easy it was for a woman to be interpreted as weak, it was a disgusting stigma created by men. Once upon a time, she had succumbed to it. Fortunately, she was a different person now, colder, tougher and unlikely to return to that pitiful state ever again.

"Pleasure to meet you," She said, it wasn't really a pleasure, at least not yet. This was more about business than socialising, networking as it were. "I understand our guilds are in a mutual alliance, yet my knowledge about the nature of the alliance is lacking. I wasn't curious to see if you could enlighten me," Of course, she knew the basics, but it was always worth collecting more information. Plus it was a smooth icebreaker of sorts. Amalie had always been sharp and she absorbed details with ease, she always had. Considering how much of a useless mother she had, she had never experienced any assistance in her education. Because her mother was never sober enough to know what the fuck was going on most of the time anyway. She had studied by herself, and her quick mind hadn't needed any help. It was her mind that gave her the confidence to know she could be successful without Wyatt. She could calculate each move with precision and accuracy, review the results and move forward. It was her tool for survival, and she planned to survive right to the top.

As they were talking Leona was bumped into by a young red-headed teenage male. Amalie glanced over at him with a look of disinterest, her eyes fell over his red hair and young features. However, the glint of something shiny drew her gaze, a pin with a sword in the middle and four lines pointed diagonally upwards from each side. That's the Dagger Corp. symbol. She thought, raising a brow. She had heard of the multi-billionaire corporation in passing, they were practically everywhere, albeit highly unnoticed by society, very wealthy and influential. Interesting, She thought as she watched Leona mention him looking familiar.

Ren hadn't been paying to much attention as he moved away from his older brother hoping not to be seen by him. Last thing he needed was the inquisition as to how he managed to escape for the day, but then it was normal for them to take part in such things or at least he thought it was. Regardless he was here now and wanted to enjoy the rare freedom he had been given before having to return home to the land of continuous studies and social events. When you were a kid it was kind of magical but then he was use to being an ornement for his parents to show off, he had to wonder if his elder siblings had went through the same issues as he did on that, somehow he believed they got off lightly. It was true that they all seemed to hold an unnatural gift when it came to something or other but he himself seemed to have been a Prodigy at everything he ever tried. Well except his families own type of magic, he could use magic and he could use weapons but he seemed to have difficulty melding the two into requip. This had bothered him to no end, he believed himself a failure due to it as nothing but perfection was expected, with such high expectations he was doomed to fall and feared he would be disinherited not that it would bother him.

Sure he had lived a privileged life but he could live without money other people seemed to do just fine, it was losing his family for something that was beyond his control that scared him. He had no idea what he'd do without their support and so vowed he would learn his families style of magic no matter what. "My apologies miss, I was inside my own mind." he said a gentle smile crossing his youthful features. To him he was the one at fault not the one he had bumped into, his blue eyes went over both Leona and Amelia taking in every small detail of their person and what they were wearing; that was until Leona spoke to him about looking familiar. "You have likely met my older brother Artemis." he said turning and pointing to the red head he had just walked away from without a word, it was then he had realised his own bad manners and rubbed the back of his head nervously "A.. ah, I'm sorry I should have introduced myself..." he said with an embarrased voice "I'm Apollo Rennard Dagger, I tend to prefer being called Ren however." he said bringing his hand down "And you both are?" he enquired at least wanting to know whom he was talking to.

"Our alliance is based on mutual interest. Since Independent Guilds don't fall completely in one status group, some people think we don't have any friends and are easy targets because of that. So we made our own alliance. We three look out for one another and provide support, whether it's information or help on challenging jobs." Leona said to Amalie all that could be said in public. There was a lot that could not be said in public. Leona wished that they were back in Tolgalen or some other secure location. Then she could explain more, or rather explain what she knew. That thought was put on hold because the red-haired youth who bumped into her soon identified himself.

"Apollo Rennard Dagger..." Leona repeated to him. Dagger. She recalled Artemis Dagger and his brief tenure with Silver Wolf. Artemis was here in this very crowd and Leona could see the resemblance between the two Daggers.

Woah! The brilliant geyser of vaporizing ice proved quite the spectacle in the eyes of the crowds, including Mura’s as well. Arcadia was wrapping it out with such a show, yet he had a feeling that she was having even more fun than the spectators. Her float was to be expected; Ice Magic, glacier. That gave birth to a rather irrelevant question; what kind of float would he have brought if he was there performing? Perhaps a huge, floating sword- no, maybe five tomoe’s tied together in a circle… or maybe just a huge, floating Kyuken. He figured that Zirconis had no interest in being showcased like that.

A shadow enveloped him slowly as he moved his focus away from the performances. That aura promised way too much for him to believe… was that- His thoughts broke right there as his head turned heavy in a few nanoseconds, followed up by the descent of at least a dozen kilograms of sweets, mainly huge lollipops. Soon, the shaman was buried in the middle of the crowd - as if he was mainly targeted for whatever reason (Mia is forgiven), sticking out for the other spectators. Some kids began taking the lollipops, one by one, until his head popped out. “Whew…” he let out in relief by the embrace of natural light.

He had missed some floats by now; crap… a bunch of Valkyries accompanied one of the floats that resembled a star… or was that an actual star? Either way, that was clearly Nessa’s doing, no doubt; she was the main lighthouse of Fairy Tail, but… if she could generate that much magic power, then why didn’t she perform better back at Enca?!

“-Oh shit, oh shit…!” he cursed under his ‘innocent’ breath by the presence of someone nearby. It was a very specific warning signal inside his head after what he had gone through a couple days ago, and now he felt a similar signature not too far away from his position. In anxiety, he began pushing his way through the crowd, approaching the exposed guild hall. He was getting away from whoever released that signal, consciously or not… he had been through enough.

“What the hell, Mura, you missed out on Arcadia’s lizard show-“ Kyuken blabbered to him as he kept maneuvering towards the guild. Spotting the entrance, he found himself close, but that was also when he spotted another person approaching the hall. That was… he was… Julius?! JULIUS?! IT WAS JULIUS!!! HE RETURNED!!!

Immediately rushing towards him from behind, Mura leapt and almost did a choking wrestling tackle on his neck. He was trying his best to hug the old fella, his eyes releasing waterfalls. “Julius! Julius, it’s you! You’re here!” he could barely speak, “*sobbing* It’s been so long…!”

Garnet had been away from the Guild for a little bit. But once he managed to get back to Magnolia, he was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a party going on. Well, more of a festival, if he had to judge from the sheer size of the event. What surprised him even more, was that it was his Guild, Fairy Tail, that was organising the event. He had a travelling messenger bag slung across his form, as he walked through the crowded streets. The amount of people that filled the streets really reminded him of home. With a smile he pulled out his phone and snapped a few pictures, to keep the memory alive.

The atmosphere reminded Garnet of the numerous Splatfests that he participated in. The loudness and general happiness that radiated around him soothed the bit of homesickness he perpetually felt. Along the way he picked up an iced tea drink from a street vendor. It was still tough for him to ask for things without saying anything, but he was getting the hang of it. Slowly, but surely. The Inkling pushed past the growing crowd. Eventually he come upon some familiar faces, but they seemed to be preoccupied with others. There was a number of other, unfamiliar mages aswell, from what he could see, but again, he didn't feel like bothering anyone. Especially since he had the glaring disadvantage in terms of his speech. He bubbly hummed to himself as he leaned against a wall next to a street food vendor. The Inkling didn't know what exactly was about to happen, but he was excited to discover that.

    Black

Slowly, surely, cautiously the chaos mage walked through the town he once called home. He was surprised thag so little had changed. He had been gone for so long, he was certain more would be different, yet it felt the same as the first time we walked through this very town.

Magnolia, he always liked the city, even if he would never admit it. It was refreshing to be back, once long ago he would have avoided the population , and waited until nightfall before making his way to the guild, quietly, unseen, fully avoiding contact.

This time however, it was different. As he walked, he let the light fall upon his body, and the wind blow his hair. He walked unbidden through the streets, heading in the direction of the guild. His dark hood was pulled up, his face hidden behind the cowl, only his hair came through, now longer it peaked down at his shoulders. His mind was thinking towards the past when he made a sudden turn onto the main street.

Quite suddenly, and very much unexpectedly, he found himself within a crowd surrounded on all sides, ripping him from his thoughts.  As he glanced about, he could tell the townspeople were excited, however he could not yet determine the cause. He could smell food, and hear music, he wondered if there was some sort of celebration…

The, he saw them, a shadow passed in front of the sun causing him to look. In the air were people, woman, wings, and light. Markus watched passively as they put on a show, only raising an eyebrow when he realized he recognized one. Nessa, the starlight maiden of fairy tail… he hadn't seen her since their job.

Markus walked forward through the crowd, watching the show. Only when he was close did he realize there was a festival. He could feel many magic users around him, and recognized a few.

Markus decided only then that returning to the guild could wait, besides it’s not like anyone would be there. Looking about he realized that there was an entire parade, and his own guild was running it. Looking from float to float he saw only one performer he did not recognized. Though this did not surprise him, Fairy Tail had to have gotten new members. They were all good, in their own way.

Markus reached out to grab a small sweat treat that was thrown into the around. He grinned looking about, he found a food stall and walked over determined to see how the festival played out.

Post by Masha 26th November 2018, 6:28 pm

Brilliant blue eyes watched from the crowd as Masha talked to Artemis. A pair of sharp fangs briefly appeared as the vampire let out a little growl. Those in the crowd around him took a step back. The cloud of icy air that surrounded him probably didn't help much either. Caius didn't have designs on his mistress as of yet. She was... pure somehow despite the machinations of her creators. The succubus struggled against her very nature to stand in the sun. It was admirable. Something Caius looked upon with great pride. He'd traveled with her on Masha's journey out of the dark. Anything she asked, anything she wanted from him was hers. His desire for her was kept under wraps until she could handle the intensity of his love. Seeing this jumped up little snot step into his territory... Caius wanted to rip into someone's throat. Masha's little flings didn't last long. Caius made sure of that. However this one... this one might be harder to get rid of. The sheer frustration of it was making Caius emit an ice cold cloud as he gnashed his teeth. Just wait, Artemis Dagger. She'll cast you off like everyone else. Then I will find you for a little... chat. Caius faded back into the crowd, doing his best to control his killing intent and magical powers. It wouldn't due to have his mistress find out about his love prematurely. Everything would be perfect for that first night. One that would lead to many more.

Masha felt the little points of heat in her cheeks from Artemis' words. Mercedes was looking from the succubus to Artemis, an evil little grin on her cherub face. Masha needed the child/dragon out of the way. She wanted Mercedes to stay innocent, or as innocent as she could be given her older 'sisters' whispering in her ear. The succubus was about to set Mercedes down when Dewi materialized beside them. The evil grin on her dragon's face made Masha suspicious. "I'll take Mercedes, darling." Dewi said taking the little dragon girl. Then she planted a big wet on right on Masha's lips. "Don't forget about dinner tonight. I'll be wearing something extra special" Dewi winked and flounced away to Mervedes' uproarious laughter.

"I swear, those two are tryin' ta sa-bo-tage me." Masha said watching them leave. She looked over her shoulder at Artemis while adjusting her short shorts. Best to get a better handle on the situation. "Let me properly introduce myself, mister Dagger." She made his name roll about on her tongue like candy. Then Masha pushed up against his chest. Her head stretched toward his ear. Her teeth scrapped across his earlobe as she spoke. "My name is Masha Dymenrel and I'd like to get to know you-" She pressed a kiss against the skin below his ear. "-much better." Her voice purred, a gentle sensation against the skin. Masha pulled back but only enough to look into his face. There was a satisfied smile on her face.

Before she could say anything, Aodhfin slammed into them. The phoenix had white flames flickering across his naked chest. A bottle hung from both hands. From the flush of his face, Masha was sure that he was drunk. "Didjah shee the pwetty wights, Mawshah?" Aodhfin hiccuped, pointing at the sky. A stream of brilliant white flame shot over the crowd. There were a couple screams and a few people ducked. The phoenix looked at his finger in confusion. Masha covered her face with Artemis' chest. "I might as well be a mum with all of you acting like children." Masha muttered, her voice muffled. She propped her chin on Artemis, peering up at him. "Would you mind helping me round up my 'children? Maybe we can-" Aodhfin shot another stream of flame into the sky. Masha growled. The phoenix was supposed to be the responsible one. Why had he started drinking? Where had he even gotten the alcohol? "I'll owe you one once we're done" Masha told Artemis, her hands sliding down his back. She cupped his firm butt. "That is if you help me." The succubus gave the hottie her best pleading look. She needed his help with this. Each of her servus were powerful in their own right.

Post by Artemis Dagger 29th November 2018, 3:19 pm

Artemis was enjoying the sight of the red-head in front of him, yet he couldn't help but feel like someone was boring a hole into him. Not that he cared, he wasn't tied to any guild-work at the moment, and as far as the family knew he was busy doing just that. Either way, he didn't really care, worrying about consequences wasn't exactly his style. Artemis blinked in surprise as a girl appeared next to Masha, a girl who could only be described as a biker chick, dressed in leather, and several facial piercings. The girl said something, took hold of the Dragon and kissed Masha straight on the lips. Artemis lips curled into a smirk, "Another friend of yours...?" He said with a teasing grin.

He listened as she introduced herself probably, allowing her to kiss him ever so softly o the cheek. He took her hand, leaning down he offered it a soft kiss. "Artemis Dagger, and I most certainly would enjoy that." He said before straightening up, it was weird officially introducing themselves to each other. Especially considering everything that had happened in the club that night. But still, Masha seemed like a pretty fun girl, wild but fun. It couldn't hurt to enjoy her company a little more, could it?

Artemis felt a body slammed into him and raised him brow, his fist instinctively clenching to see who had rammed into them. Eying up the topless orange top, only to notice that he seemed to know Masha. He relaxed a little, glancing down as Masha had buried her face in his chest. He thought about her question, in all honestly he would prefer to spend time with her alone. But maybe that would happen as a result, who knew. He shrugged, "Sure why not, Lead the way," he said in a smooth tone.

Leona proceeded to answer Amalie's question in a way that she could only describe as disappointingly tame. She was obviously keeping her information as neutral as possible, which was understandable. They were in a public place. Still, Amalie had hoped for more juicier intel. But still it was worth knowing, Amalie wondered if she would be able to source a wider variety of jobs if she took advantage of this said 'alliance'. Although it did mean she ran the risk of working with someone unpleasant. So far her jobs partners had been rather unpredictable. From the quiet yet extremely bloodthirsty Caimellier to the flashy and decidedly unhelpful Fairy Tail mages, whose name she couldn't bring herself to recall.

The younger red-haired replied to Leona by suggesting that she may know his brother Artemis. Before introducing himself as Apollo Rennard Dagger, confirming her suspicion of his connection to the famous family. Although she wasn't entirely sure where in the family tree this individual belonged, he could be anyone from someone in the head family, to just an individual that bore its name. Still, it would be interesting to learn more. "I am Amalie West, I am a member of the West Fiore Trading Company," She replied curtly, tilted her head. "You belong the that Dagger family that owns Dagger Corp. I'm just assuming based on your name and the insignia your branding." She said glancing at the pin once more.

She was only especially aware of the company because they had been one of the key donators to a hospital she frequently had visited in the past. Back when she was always getting injured due to what Wyatt referred to as 'clumsy' behaviour on her part. She remembered having asked one of the nurses about the symbol she kept seeing around the hospital, a small conversation that fortunately Wyatt hadn't been there to overhear. Wyatt didn't like Amalie making friends outside the family circle, she was to hang out with other wives or mistresses, and that was it. Even a brief interaction with a nurse had been a pleasant change of pace. To talk with someone outside of the family business, about something other than their dealings. A moment of normality almost.

    ☆FAIRY FESTIVAL BATTLE WEEK☆

Now that the parade was officially over, Arcadia  flew down to the platform Master Sorano stood on to address the crowds. The little slayer remaining invisible as she reverted to her human-self. Little Arcadia pulled her iLac from its specially sewn pocket, and quietly texted her friends from the Magnolia Theatre Company to stand ready. After nearly dying on a recent job that probably saved the company's biggest star, she figured they  would be owing her quite a few favors for awhile.  Arranging special non-magical fireworks to light up the skies over the designated  dueling areas around Magnolia was just a small beginning. They'd hang in place long enough to guide people who wanted to watch in person. Arcadia was pretty sure they'd look pretty boss on the screens set up for remove viewing too.

When Master Sorano finished her closing speech on the parade, Arcadia  let herself become invisible, and she walked  forward to introduce those who would be fighting.  She beckoned the floating microphone lacrima down lower, and let her voice be cast all over to be heard by all. ”Thank you, Master Sorano! And now... let me introduce all the those who dare to enter  the Fairy Ring!  We have four matches with brave contestants who will test each other's skill to the limits! Each pair have been chosen to ensure a fair and entertaining match! Who will win! Who will fall! Our contestants will not be just fighting each other, but time as well! If neither has won decisively before the allotted time has won out, our honorable, All-Saints panel of judges will confer and vote on the ultimate winner!”

Keeping her iLac subtly at her side, she texted the signal and fireworks shot up in all the designated dueling areas around the city. When the pyrotechnic rockets exploded their colors made the faces of the wizards who would battling in each designated area directly below.

”Just follow the faces in the sky to the matches that interests you most! Or watch them all the many screens set up  and down the main thoroughfare here! Refreshments, souvenirs and more are available at our sponsor's booths and don't forget the half-priced drinks right here in our own guild hall!”

Little Arcadia would go on to introduce each of the matches in no particular order:

Masha scowled when she saw the faces in the sky. Did she really wanna babysit? Or could she leave them all to their own devices and go watch Leona fight? Then there was Arty. She'd finally found the guy after months of dreaming about him. The succubus was torn between what to do. Search for her wayward- Another stream of flame shot over her head.

"That's it!" She snarled marching over to Aodhfin. "I'm sending you home and when I find whoever gave you alcohol, I'm tearing something off and shoving it up their ass." Masha slapped her hand upon Aodhfin's chest. Golden lines spread throughout his body before the human looking phoenix vanished in a poof of smoke.

The succubus sauntered back to Artemis. "Perhaps we can take a raincheck, hot stuff? Turns out one of my friends is fighting and I wanna go watch. That is unless-" She batted her eyelashes at him. "You want to come watch with me?" Masha hoped for it but no guy really liked to spend time with her outside of a bed or a job. No woman either. It was a sad fact of her life that she didn't know how to interact with people outside of a bed or job. The one time she'd kind of tried hadn't ended well. The succubus had wrecked that experience for both of them.

Regardless of Artemis' answer, Masha started toward the arena holding Leona and whoever her opponent was. The Silver Wolf guild master was a good fighter in close range. She'd seen the woman fight off angels with relative ease and go head to head with a giant angel. The redhead was sure it would be an interesting fight. If Leona got in close, it might very well be over for her opponent.
