    Caster or Holder: Cast
    Description: Blood of Heros is a family style of buffing magic created and perfected by generates of the Eddearth family in line with their veneration of the Legendary Heros of the past. They believe that the point of magic is to bring the user closer to perfection and so Blood of Heros focuses on improving the user's abilities to bring them closer to the might of the heroes of old. As such it mostly contains buffing abilities, with a small scattering of defensive and other utility spells. Offensive magic is entirely eschewed, all users are expected to fight like the heroes they imitate instead.

    The way Aelfric uses it in combat differs depending on whether he is alone or working with others. When alone he generally stacks on as many buffing spells as possible early in the fight while engaging in physical combat. On the other hand, when fighting with allies he will split his buffing spells between himself and whichever ally seems to need them the most at the time.

    Strengths:

    • Blood of Heros is primarily focused on buffing magic and thus has a huge variety of possible buffing spells.

    • Its very fast to use, particularly when used on Aelfric himself. For other targets it just needs a gesture and the incantation, while for Aelfric himself he only needs the incantation.

    • Lack of Elemental Affinity - since it lacks any form of elemental affinity the spells cast from Blood of Heroes can't be eaten by slayers.


    Weaknesses:

    • Blood of Heros completely lacks any form of offensive magic, its designed to bring the user personally closer to the level of legendary heroes not for directly attacking others. This forces the user to rely on their physical combat ability to actually fight enemies.

    • Limited defensive variety - While defensive spells are possible via Blood of heroes the number the user can have is limited, they should only make up a small percentage of the user's total number of spells (maximum 25%).

    • Each spell cast with Blood of Heroes is obvious in some way, described per spell, which allows opponents to tell when Aelfric is buffed. Over long fights, a smart opponent would be able to link the external effect to the underlying magic thus allowing them to work out what buffs he currently has on.

    • Weak Point (from Lineage) - Aelfric has a point directly between his shoulder blades where if he gets hit he takes 200% extra damage and is paralyzed for two posts.

He received his strength not only from his father, but also from his step-mother Hera; who was tricked into giving him her milk by Artemis. Hercules was strong enough to lift the Argo into the ocean so it could set sail. However, Hera cursed him with madness that led him into a life of misery and anger. He performed 12 trials for the Gods to redeem himself, but his madness overcame him and led him to his end. Spartans claimed to be the sons of Hercules, inheriting his god-like strength.
    Ability: 100% strength increase and 50% HP increase but less agility.  Must describe a weak point on their body where if hit they take 200% excess damage and are paralyzed for 2 posts in their character app.
    Usage: Passive
    Unique Abilities:

    • Skin of a Hero - Heros are tough and generally don't take as much damage as normal people, as such Skin of a Hero provides 25% damage reduction to Aelfric. This applies to all damage unless he is hit in the weak point between his shoulder blades.

    Burst of Health is a burst spell that adds heals the user and allies within the aread for D ranked health. It extends outwards from Aelfric in a 15m radius (30m diameter) circle at a rate of 15m per second (and so hits the full around in 1 second with Aelfric being targetted immediately since he is in the center).

    Strengths:

    • A nice spell that can heal the user and allies within the area

    Weaknesses:

    • It has a long cooldown



    Armoured Skin:
    Name: Armoured Skin
    Rank: D
    Type: Defensive
    Duration: 3
    Cooldown: 4
    Description: Aelfric amours his skin with magic to defend himself from hostile magic. By chanting the name of the spell he covers his skin with an obvious layer of glowing green energy that can absorb up to 2 D rank spells before shattering. This is a single target spell that can only affect Aelfric.
    Strengths:

    • Covers Aelfric completely with a skin-tight shield, thus requiring it to be broken for him to be hit with an Offensive spell.

    Weaknesses:

    • Only targets himself leaving him unable to use it on allies
    • Only protects from magic damage, physical attacks pass straight through it.



    Advanced Spells:
    Magic Resistance (D+):

    Name: Magic Resistance
    Rank: D+
    Type: Supportive
    Duration: 5
    Cooldown: 6
    Description:
    A great hero is not struck down by magic, the only fall in physical combat. By chanting the name of the spell Aelfric covers himself in an obvious blue glow indicating that the spell has taken effect. Magic Resistance is a personal spell that can only target Aelfric and provides 75% magic resistance for the duration.

    Strengths:

    • Makes Aelfric very resistant to magic for the duration.

    Weaknesses:

    • Provides no protection from physical attacks, only magical ones
    • Can only be used on Aelfric, he can't target an ally with it.
