    A Mother's Love [Invite Only]

Making his way back up the mountain ranges he used to play in as a child was fun. Every detail, every rock. He knew it. Even certain caves, he knew there were bears in. The thick woods and air reminded him of home the closer he got to it. Eventually, he passed a few people on his way up the range. He was carrying nothing but a travelers pack and himself. Rose elected to stay behind at the guild to help Sorano with paperwork as usual. Sometimes he wondered if those two got off on it or something. But he couldn't help but to love them both in their own ways.

Soon the road got more packed, and was bustling literally with people and wagons back and forth. Haru even began saying "hi" and "excuse me" to people as he made his way through the crowded road. Up ahead, a drawbridge as the forest broke into a huge city across from the bridge suspended over a huge canyon below.

Mountain Village. In the background, a city built on the tallest mountains in Midi fashion. His home, where he'd been raised, schooled, and grew up before running off to Fairy Tail months ago. Founded by the Fire King, a mage and past wizard saint and close friend of his families. In fact, he carried this man with him everywhere he went, as his middle name was in fact "Ardere" a nod from his mother to her Uncle figure and mentor. While he'd never met the man himself, as he'd been born during Infinity Hydra's last days; he always had looked up to him and the various bits of information he got from the town itself, and from the townspeople on him.

As he moved through Mountain Village people literally yelled at him from their houses. His neighbors, some of which had kids too around his age who he'd grown up with. Coming down to play from Terra Ignis with them from time to time. He smiled a rare smile at this as he waved back and socialized a little with those he knew well from his childhood.

As he made it to what some called the Steps of Fire, a wrapping staircase up a singular mountain to the city of Terra Ignis high above. He got nervous as hell. His mother was waiting for him up there. He didn't know whether he should continue or press onward. Deciding he couldn't stay away from home any longer, not being so close; he stepped one foot forward and began to walk upward on the stairs, up, up, and up he went.

"Here goes nothing." he said as he shrugged his bag and gripped it tighter with both hands as he stepped.

Finally, he'd reached the top and as he did; he looked up to the Midi Style temple gateway into the sprawling city. People were dressed in japaneese fashion as usual here, or in normal Tokyo like street clothing. God he missed this place. Off in the distance he saw groups of kids his age all socializing around the fountain that had a statue of Ardere at it's center.

They all exclaimed with various "YO HARU'S" and hoots as he waved at them smiling a bit. He had forgotten what it was like to be home.

"Well, well, it's Hera's boy." he spun around and met face to face with his grade school teacher. He'd been pulled from regular school when his magic started to manifest as most young kids were who were born with magic. They usually were shipped off to the guilds to learn magic, but Haru had been a special case. Leaving on a road trip he'd never forget; his mom took him all the way to Seven. A country filled to the brim with talking animals like Narnia. To introduce him to an ancient being revered in some places of the world as a God. The King of all Fire Dragons, Igneel.

"Good times." he said to himself as he made his way through town. Walking smack into his favorite convenience store as the clerk's eyes went wide.

"I'LL BE DAMNED! What've you been holed up at home for these last few months boy!" the clerk said, an older man but still somewhat young. He came around the counter to shake Haru's hand, rather than the usual head rustle he always gave him when he'd come here with his mom day by day. "You deserve this now." he said as he shook his hand. This caused him to actually grin.

"I've missed you man, how're things around here." he asked sincerely. Looking around the store, everything was still in the place he remembered. Chips here, hotdogs there, soda here. The clerk explained it had been business as usual except for him not being around anymore. However, his face got a little bit darker when he spoke about his mother.

"She, doesn't seem her usual perky self. Has everything been OK at home?" as soon as he said this, the guilt hit Haru like a damn train and he almost got emotional. Telling him he was on his way to check on her now, Haru rushed out of the store and began a full tilt sprint towards his house. As a mage he was unnaturally fast almost like a moving car, so he startled a few people as he ran but didn't care. Some clothes probably fell out, from his bag but he also didn't care. He could see his house up ahead now. His fence. His window.
