Althea walked down the streets of River Village, slightly confused about what she should be looking for.  The Magic Counsel had called for wizards to investigate towns with mysterious magic circles in them, but she couldn’t see anything at all that even looked like one.  Navigating River Village wasn’t too hard, but the problem was in finding your way around.  Each shop sold the same things: fish, jewelry, icecream, clothes repeat.  They were all staples of the area, the village being the center of it all.  Taking a whiff of the air to pick up some sort of magic at all, Althea was determined to find the magic circles.  But, she immediately regretted it because the air was full of the thick, overwhelming scent of fish - scrambling her enough to be unable to separate the ethernanos from the fish.

Not wanting to go back to Magnolia without having investigated any magic circles, Althea scaled a nearby building, assuming a bird eye’s view of the village.  She balanced herself precariously on top of a flagpole, shielding the sun from her eyes with her hand.  Surveying the land below, Althea wasn’t exactly sure what she was looking for.  She was half-expecting it to be incredibly obvious, maybe a large crowd in a certain area or it being located in the middle of the street for all to see.  But she didn’t see anything that caught her eye, only the typical villagers walking by and the occasional foreigner.  Sighing, she jumped down, taking up the Magic Counsel’s request once more.

Then she saw it: at the bottom of the white sheet of paper was a line of small black text.  Pulling closer to her face, Althea squinted to read the writing.  “Circles located at 1543 Dace Drive…”  She said, reading it aloud.  Without another thought, Althea clutched the paper angrily, annoyed that she had put in all that effort to find the magic circles when it was printed right on the request.  It was like the Magic Counsel wanted her to get lost in a village she had never visited before.  Eyes on the street signs below, Althea moved towards the location via the roofs of River Village’s buildings.

It had come to the attention to the guild the young angel had found herself currently aligned to that their seemed to be what could only be described as an invasion of creatures. Lamia Scale easily jamp on this, they where monster hunters and so specialised in this kind of thing, she however had gotten the news of this mass attack while coming back from Rose Garden where she had obtained her passport so she could travel freely. Her kind tried to keep their presence to a minimum so that meant she wouldn't be flying to often which was a bit of a bother if you asked her, at the same time it was the rules and she didn't go out of her way to disobey orders if it could be helped. At the moment she was on foot taking a walk, she knew she would also be expected to do her part to help keep Fiore safe by her guild, her race and more so her family; so no pressure..

She knew that she was near a place called River village so sent word back that she would investigate the place, even offering help to others whom may have found themselves there due to the state of emergency that had been called by the council of magic. Entering the village her eyes looked over everything, seeing the flaws she couldn't help but cringe as some of the buildings could really be doing with some work on them but walked in none the less not to sure what to expect. As the place was a village it was relatively easy to navigate around, in the pit of her stomach however he she had a bad feeling that this was going to take more than herself to deal with whatever she was feeling. Due to the way here eyes worked she couldn't really tell what each shops were exactly, the one thing she could tell was that the place had been deserted and quickly by its inhabitants. "What could cause the mass exodus of a village." she asked herself as there was no others to ask or so she thought.

That was until she got closer to the centre the village and seen some of the population but they where acting so very strange in her opinion. "What in the sweet graces?" she asked as she started to feel sick, her wings sprouting from her back as she jamp in the air "They... they're dead..." she said in disbelief, she knew it was nothing to do with necromancy, but she could see something inside. She couldn't believe what she seen, it really did want to make her vomit "Is that a... wasp?" her voice showing disbelief as she had been taught there was only a few animals that could that and sure as hell was hoping it wasn't what she thought it was. It was then she seen something stranger than the wasp infested corpses, if something could be classed as stranger than that and it was a person on a flag pole. The young red head could only guess this was another mage and so flew quickly towards them in the hopes to give them information. Along the way she seen things scurrying around, she however couldn't tell if they were large rats or small dogs, either way there where a lot of them.

Sophitia flew quickly towards the other that seemed to be jumping from rooftop to rooftop, she winced however seeing a bright energy "What the?!" she called out loudly shielding her eyes from the energy of the seal however the moment of sudden brightness caused the youth to almost nose dive towards the other mage potentially bringing her to the ground if she didn't get out the way "Look out!" she called out in the hopes the to give the other time.

The spell that was expected never came - or at least it was halted by another equal force thjat drowned out the light into shadow behind themselves. As the light subsumed, the woman could now be clearly seen however the strangest part of it was when her 'skin' cracked and shattered and shards of energy scattered to the ground. This clearly brought distaste to the countenance of the woman, who the two would likely get a close look at now. Silken curls of black hue frame the beautiful woman's countenance and fall to the mid of her back, crimson-hued irises focusing intently at the point of her short curved nose. Luna stands at a trimmed and lithe build with a height of five feet and eight inches, thin shoulders paired with vivacious curves and well-endowed physical assets. Luna wears a two-piece consisting of a loose-fitting gi atop and a skirt down to just below her knees below, both with matching black and crimson hues. A brown leather corset provides some protection to the maiden along with a satchel strapped to dangle off one side. Finally, black lace stockings rise high paired with long black leather heeled boots. A smile crept on her face as she now turned about heel to fully face the source of the attack; her magical power starting to swelter around her.

"What has happened here... everyone is dead or consumed by those creatures. I will not allow such a face to continue. After all, I am the blade that will vanquish all evil. Luna said, before turning slightly to observe the two, "You two alright? It appears that I was at the right place at the right time, well... I'll deal with the big bad, and then we can decide how best to defeat the others. By the way, you can just call me Luna. Well then... I'll be off."

At that moment, Luna released a momentous cry that began to shake the ground around her and stir the sky for miles on end - any cloud-cover drawing to one particular spot, to surround the chamber high high in the sky. At the same time, she was releasing a large amount of magical power as her body seemed to change. Her hair, once curly and silky in form, almost seemed as if it was a flame of pure midnight hue. At the same time, wings of pure might hue were formed from the back of Luna with similar little winglets at her wrists and ankles. The very ground underneath the slayer cratered in a convex underneath the awakening of her God Force. At the same time, crimson irises focused forwards and locked gaze with the source of the magic. Wasting no time, the black wings surrounded Luna as she moved, forming the outline of a black dragon as bits of light connected and filled the illusion. At the same time, she had finally left her spot however where she had gone was difficult to discern as Luna was literally gone in the blink of the eye.

"Sky God Secret Art: SEMA CRACKER!!" Luna chanted as she emerged from high above the sky and flew down at high speeds, she was surrounded by a layer of 'hardened' black winds with a form as if wearing metal armor with a pair of black angelic wings and finally a blackened halo behind until Luna hurled themselves at the victim - matching along with the changes due to God Force so she now has four wings. This releases into a gargantuan lance of black winds that cut away at the victim and caused a series of magical ruptures out of their back - creating a convexed crater down into the earth itself. At the same time, this lance seemed to be surrounded with an 'air' of pure magical force that also slammed into the victim and finally dealt the killing blow all in one motion. There was nothing left of it after she was done, moving down to ground level and releasing a rippling wave of air that would serve as her 'eyes' in this particular case. This particular ability acted similarly to sonar but was far more detailed.

As the wasp-mutated dead started to shamble towards Luna, she stomped down hard onto the cratered ground underfoot, releasing a particular magical circle that she placed directly between herself and the other girls. The magical circle reversed the flow of wind within the area, creating a spherical center in a 100m area with arms of black wind roaring around the midst of the spell with a height of 50m, as the vacuum folds upon itself several times to create a massive space devoid of even light. Those caught within Dark Twister suffer the pain of being torn apart. Many of the beings caught within were torn asunder, however the spell itself unfortunately wasn't one of her best. Even with the power of God Force, only a third of the total swarm was destroyed in this manner. Luna only hoped that the other two could pull their weight, the slayer couldn't handle the whole horde by herself especially since she had just used nearly a good quarter of her magic reserves. Luckily, wounds wouldn't have much effect on the group if Luna had anything to say about it - she had placed a simple regeneration spell on both of the lasses previously.

Eventually, Althea caught sight of the location specified on the request, located right at the heart of River Village.  But, she didn’t even have enough time to survey the area for anything suspicious before she saw a bright light coming from the ground, shielding her eyes instinctively.  She reckoned that it was probably coming from the magic seals that were supposedly there.  But the weird thing was that the light only kept getting brighter as if it was headed straight for the wizard.  Then, a voice called out for her to “look out”, causing her to look for the source instead of what she was meant to be looking out for, letting down her arm just enough to see past it.  Finally, she saw the person it had allegedly came from: a redheaded youth with… wings?  They were the feathery type, ones you would expect on something like a dove, but not a person.  Processing the sight for a moment too long, they inevitably barreled into Althea, bringing the her to the ground.  She was nothing less than surprised, I mean, who randomly gets collided into by someone with wings?  Only being able to squint as the white light intensified, the wizard soon met the ground.

But then, the light simply seemed to vanish, causing Althea to blink in wonder, looking around at her surrounding whilst getting to her feet.  She would the take notice of the woman standing in front of her, strongly emanating an unfamiliar magic.  “Oh yeah, I’m fine.  My name’s Althea - but just Thea’s just alright too.  Nice to meet you Luna, and you too.”  She said, turning towards the redhead with her last words.  But, her expression openly displayed a sliver of surprise.  Not at the two new people she had just came across (although they didn’t seem like your run of the mill kind of folk), but at the mention of everyone being ‘dead’.  Realizing that she actually hadn’t seen anyone at all from entering River Village to that very moment, Althea figured that it was sadly true.  If she had seen someone, she would've asked them where the magic circles were meant to be.  Anyways, she wasn’t too happy about most citizens apparently dying, but would take the time to have a proper look around her surroundings.

Then she saw what she was apparently up against, a seemingly endless mob of staggering people and creatures whose smell managed to trump over that of the fish.  Taking a closer look at each, Althea managed to spot a multitude of hornets flying about the people, causing much confusion.  Did they attract the insects?  And why were they so huge?  Taking a closer look at the person themself, the mage noted that they were very much dead, probably being controlled by the wasps themselves.  Neither parties looked all too friendly, so Althea wasted no time assuming an offensive stance.  But before she took off to fight any monsters, she took note of Luna’s apparent transformation, stars filling her eyes as her magical power shot up exponentially.  Wishing that she could do something as cool looking, Althea focused on the impending battle.  But before she leapt into action, the girl cast a small buff spell for her newfound allies.  It wouldn’t last very long at all, but it would get the job done.

Wasting no more time, Althea charged right at a group of the foul smelling creatures that roughly resembled a rat.  As the group turned their attention to the incomer, she could see they had been gathered around what was presumably a corpse, now reduced to a pile of bones.  Yellowed teeth barred, several scurried to meet the slayer.  The first one to reach her made their way straight for her unbandaged arm, much to the wizard’s distaste.  These things had just eaten, but they still craved for more?  Unfortunately for the creature, Althea was rather quick on her feet and simply dodged to the right.  Finding the opportunity ideal to strike, she rose her left arm, bringing it down heavily on the creature’s skull, leaving it to crash into the earth.  She kept moving, doing something similar with the next one except that she kneed it into a nearby building.  Then the next, and the next.  Craters formed under the force of her blows, cracks and hisses filling the air.  Althea had only made her way through a section of the rats she had approached, many more still stood in front of her.

Cursing herself for not having too many spells that affected a large area, deciding to work on that when she could.  Doing the next best thing, the mage first cast a self buff for the spell.  After all, she wanted all of the flea-ridden creatures to be defeated as quickly as possible and her magical strength wasn’t nearly as great as her physical one.  So, she came to an abrupt stop, first taking in a deep breath.  Moisture accumulated in her mouth from both inside and out of the wizard.  Then, exhaling, an array of bullet-like water droplets shot out from her.  Taking several steps forward when the rats began retreating, Althea managed to hit many of the vermin, leaving them incapacitated.  Sighing, she recovered her breath, not too impressed by her handywork.  But, she had managed to clear out many of the rats, although a multitude still remained.  Looking around the cavity ridden town, Althea noticed that Luna had also cleared out a good chunk of the wasp-infested corpses.

It was then, in the midst of fish, holes, rats, and wasps, that the wizard realized that both Luna and the redhead had saved her in some way.  One by warning her of an incoming blast of light and the other by blocking said attack.  Either way, she decided that she might as well take out a few more creatures to thank them, so she continued with her head on assault.  Charging straight into the crowd of rats, she pummeled any that leapt up to her.  The scent of disease was incredibly strong with them, so Althea was especially careful to not get bitten.  But, this slightly hindered her attacks, bulldozing through them with a few still dizzily getting to their paws.  Eventually, she had made her way through the crowd, but had simply cleaved, not cleared.  Many of them still remained, hopefully her allies could take care of that.
