Post by Chili Thompson 7th August 2017, 1:17 pm

Chili sighed as he leaned his head against the back board of his bunk. He could see the sun going down from the small porthole window to his right. Trying to calm his nerves a little. He'd never been a fan of the ocean despite the fact that he once found it beautiful and full of wonders. Contradictory as it may be Chili also found that for all its beauty it had just as much terror. After a certain month, long stranded venture Chili had never really been one for the ocean.
"Damn undead nightmare," Chili muttered in a hushed tone as he remembered the smell of the creature's unpleasant odor as it ripped the ship he had been on to pieces. The memory faded as he felt a lurch in the ship as it was hit by a large wave. Shaking his head Chili figured as long as he wasn't on a piece of drift wood he'd be fine, so he relaxed and let his head lay upon the pillow.
"The ship should be docking at Snowfall by the time I wake up. The captain already went over where I need to head once we make landfall. Now all I need to do is get some sleep." Chili went over in his head while he slowly let his eyes fall shut, and fell into a light sleep.

Having slept for who knows how long, Chili felt the ship pull to a stop, he fully arose from his bunk as he heard the captain holler. The small cabin he had been given barely had enough room to harbor the small bunk and the desk that sat to the left of it. Shaking the drowsiness from his eyes, Chili slid his legs off the mattress and let his feet hit the floor. Balancing his right elbow on his leg, Chili rested his chin on his hand. Looking down slightly Chili relaxed a littl remembering that he had fallen asleep with his shoes and clothing on, so he was already set to start the day. Grabbing his pack which was resting on the floor next to the bunk Chili got up and made his way to the door that was on his left at the back of the ship's room. Opening it he was met with a semi dark wooden hallway that led into the bowels of the ship. Turning right from the doorway Chili walked down the hallway passing a few other doors as he went before he came to stairs that descended further down as well as ascended upward to the deck. Going upward Chili shielded his eyes slightly as he made it to the deck, the sun was close to the middle of the sky and it was bright as heck out side. Once his eyes adjusted to the new lighting Chili walked to the railing of the ship ignoring the bustling background of the ship's crew and looked out into the whiteness of the island he had just arrived at.
"I would make a pirate joke but this is fishing vessel so it'd be inappropriate to do so," Chili thought as he noted the small cabin village close to the docks.
The two masted ice breaking fish vessel and its crew had done their job, now it was time for him to do his.
Following along the railing Chili made it to the boarding plank before he could take a step onto it though he was stopped by the captain.
"Alrighty lad, your destination should be a few hundred meters in a southwest direction. The map I gave you should have the exact coordinates. My men and I are gonna cast off as soon as you leave before our ship is frozen in place. We'll be back in a day to pick you up, so try not freeze to death." The gruff, short length wise bearded man said.

Nodding in understanding at the captain Chili, pulled out his compass as his breath hissed out in a steam while he read which direction he needed to head in and began to descend the plank. Walking off the ship fully Chili would have shuddered when he felt the cold wind that suddenly picked up, however, his uncle had made sure his resistance to temperatures well below freezing was as strong as it could get. Ignoring the inviting wooden cabins that were sitting near the docks by tens of meters Chili made a beeline for the edge of the forest, heading toward the coordinates specified in the job's request.
Crossing the tree line Chili was lucky to have his compass cause all he was able to see was snow covered ground and trees were everywhere around him once he was a good forty meters in. Just keeping to the compass, Chili pulled out the mini map of the island from his pack's side pocket and looked at it while noting the compasses direction.
"About three hundred more meters this way and I should come to the clearing where the figure was last seen." Chili speculated as he looked at the data he held. Continuing forward Chili just listened to the wind as it whistled through the snow weighed branches of the trees and the crunch of his shoes in the snow. It was slightly comforting to him as he went. About fifteen minutes later Chili arrived at the edge of the clearing.

The snow covered tree tops glistened from the way the light was hitting the trees, while Chili walked out into the open glade. He came to a stop in the middle of the thick snow covered field, he had been walking across and unzipped his pack. Putting the compass in Chili pulled out the request he had taken from the notice board he had found it on and read it once over again. Skipping over the description and just reading the coordinates for the most recent sighting of this ice creature that, was posted at the bottom of the page and compared it to the maps.
"Man the ship took two days to get here, then I actually manage to get to the location specified and now I have no idea where to go from here." He blatantly thought.
Turning in a slow circle, Chili scanned the surrounding area the best he could. Behind him was the forest he had just emerged from, to his left more woods, to his right a frozen lake, and in front of him a few meters was a rather large hill. He began marching up the hill. As he traveled upward the sky began to darken with amazing speed and by the time he was at the top, it was snowing. The temperature seemed to drop a few more degrees as Chili's breath was now a thick mist in the air. Trying his best to see through the snow, Chili was able to get a glimpse at a lone shack off in the direction that the lake had been. It was about a hundred meters south east of the lake. Cambering down the hill Chili threw the map and request in his pack and proceeded to zip it up as to not lose anything as he began to run a little faster. Back at the base of the bump in the ground, Chili turned left and made his way diagonally through the clearing and to the fifty-meter long frozen lake he was gonna have to cross.

It was so cold out that Chili was positive that the lake had to be frozen pretty solid, however, just in case he was wrong, Chili tested his footing as he went out ways beyond the lake's edge. Finding it to be solid he didn't hesitate to pick up his speed as he moved to cross the frozen surface. About three-fourth ways across Chili heard cracking as breaks in the ice started to appear behind him. It didn't appear to be spreading forward toward where he was standing however the crakes were growing in their current locations. Keeping his foot as he spun around and ran the last fourth of the way, Chili slipped as he got to the edge. Falling hard on his back and pack as he collided with the snow covered ground, Chili watched upside down as something emerged from the ice.

Splitting Normal Monster Roll into two Small.

They looked like ice mannequins that were more modeled toward looking like a woman. Quickly rolling into a kneeling position Chili barely had time to lean backward and fall to his back. Avoiding an ice spiked arm through the face. Swiftly kicking up from his back and landing on his feet Chili dashed backward away from the increasing number of ice sculptures. There were about twenty of them now. Chili hastened his pace as he did the required hand symbols to entire Hellfire mode. As his hands and feet lit up with hot red flames a stream of water came flying at him. Diving to the left Chili used his hand to balance slightly as he did a cart wheel flip and landed on his feet.
"They did come up from a lake....although that didn't really mean they knew how to use water magic, however, I can see they do now though." Chili thought as he took up a fighting stance. "Well, they are still made of ice so even if some of their attacks will hurt a bit more, mine will probably melt them faster than they can extinguish me."

Watching the approaching mini mob Chili focused on releasing some of his magical aura around him. Letting the hellfire slowly consume his skin, Chili was cloaked in a close fitting solid reddish orange blaze of flames that resembled a werewolf, its eyes a sickening light green color. From within the aura, Chili could see everything clearly. Although everything was now filtered through a black, white, and flame colored hue. The dark clouded sky now was a dark auburn color, while the snow appeared to be a light red, softly piling up on the ground, the snow covered ground appeared to be soaked in blood, while the trees were no longer green and appeared to be as if they were on fire now seeming to glow a weird orange yellow. The ice a weirdish pink color almost shimmering like a gem. He felt anger building up with in him, which was always an odd feeling to him, being a person to usually let his anger go replacing it with a similar yet healthier drive. Now it was all there under the surface. Focusing on his current task Chili wasted no time in putting a simple command into his thoughts. "Melt the ice sculptures do as little damage to the surrounding area as I can."
With that, he jumped up and over an ice spike attack from a mannequin. Landing a meter away to the left he dashed forward three meters to meet five approaching ice golems. Chili ducked underneath a flying ice pike attack, dodged an arm morphed into a spike, and managed to deliver a kick of his own into the side of the third sculpture.

Now surrounded by all twenty figures, confined to a six-meter radius circle, Chili could break through the thin crowd if he wanted but he preferred to be at the center. Dodging another ground spike attack by hopping to the right, Chili spun mid air and drove a hard hitting cloaked foot into a sculpture's head. A small smirk on his face as two tried to charge him, quickly pushing one's icy limb out leaving it wide open for a kick that sent it backward and cracked its frame slightly. The second one drove its spiked limp through the cloak and it managed to barely pierce Chili's left abdomen before its arm melted off. It jumped away from him and seemed to take a second to reassess Chili. Not giving it a chance to rest more than a few seconds Chili slammed his fist into the figure's center and drove it to the ground with the momentum of the hit. Melting a hole through it Chili couldn't waste any time as he had to roll to the side to avoid on coming kick. Choosing to go left Chili found himself hit by a water attack which the force of the water blast sent him tumbling backward a meter or two.

Standing up he let out a growl as he swiveled to the right to avoid another water blast and quickly grabbed on to an approaching arm, pulling the figure into his range Chili shoved a fist into its head and then kicked it back toward to the other ice sculptures. It melted from the kick and landed in two pieces not affecting much as its life less form was walked over. Chili sprinted a short distance as five more statues tried to water blast him and punched his way into the figures on the left side of the circle. Fully breaking the cracked figure he had kicked early as he went, Chili was swiftly met with three other figures in front of him and two on each side.
Kicking the middle of the three in front of him Chili changed targets and delivered a follow-up kick to the right side front one as well. As his foot touched the ground he bent down and turned to duck a punch from one of the two on his left, Chili used its momentum to lift it and hurl it toward the two on his right. As it collided with one of the two on his right Chili dashed forward and punched the figure that he had missed. As it stumbled back he grabbed a hold of its arm and pulled it back forward sending a hard upper cut into its torso. His fist melted the figure through enough for him to pull it in two and throw the upper half away before jumping out of the way of another water blast. At this point, three more figures had joined the fray while the others still continued to surround.

"I'll have to bust out spell if they keep using that water attack, it's becoming an annoyance." Chili thought as he jumped a meter to the left to avoid another ground spike attack. Landing near the two who had originally been in his front, Chili blocked an ice attack he hadn't seen yet, this one being a condenses cold ice spray. His cloak took care of it luckily enough, as Chili continued to grab the head of the one that had attacked and thoroughly melted it to a headless stump. Stepping away from the figure as the other one he kicked tried to stab him through space. Sending the back of the fist closest to the figure, Chili busted the thing's head in half sending chunks of ice into the air as it fell to the ground. Jumping over one more Chili broke out of the side while the remaining fourteen chased after him. He was running along the edge of the lake going in a more east direction now Chili, sprinted as fast as he could to get some distance between him and the ice hoard. Stopping once he got a good twenty meters away Chili spun around to face the ice mannequins. Lifting his arm into the air above his head, the claw like hands of the cloak began circulating fire in between them slowly growing a small ball of hellfire which would soon be something bigger than the current. As he did this the figures were only getting closer now with in twelve meters of him. As this happened more figures appeared from the tree line to join the ones he had yet to finish off, thus increasing their numbers once again.

Ice Mage's Greatest Work (Job/Solo) Empty Re: Ice Mage's Greatest Work (Job/Solo)

Post by Chili Thompson 20th October 2017, 3:31 pm

Chili grumbled underneath his breath as he watched ten more figures appear. Though these ones appear to have more features added to them than the faceless husks he was currently fighting. Not wasting any time, Chili flung the now small boulder sized ball of flames toward the still approaching mini mass of said faceless figures. The ball melted through the front ones and landed in the middle of the husks. The snow on the ground hissed as it was melted away by the blast, while the surrounding figures were sent flying in pieces in all directions. Taking a few steps back and turning to his left a little so he was now facing the new ice figures while still able to see if any faceless ones survived. He watched as four picked themselves off the ground, having been near the rear of the group of fourteen, these few survived. Chili chuckled least he had lowered their numbers a little, now to finish it. Rushing forward as the snow sizzled under each step, Chili delivered a fist through the chest of a husk. With his hand still in its center, Chili turned to an oncoming one and kicked the melted one into it. Spinning on his heels, he turned around and brought his right forearm up to block an incoming icicle arm slash. Swiftly dropping into a crouch position as he slid a leg out, flinging it sideways, using the momentum to spin and leg sweep the figure. He broke the legs easily causing the thing to come crashing to the ground. Rolling backward, narrowly avoiding a kick from the fourth one, Chili was grabbed from behind by one of the more detailed husks. These new ones were made to look as if they had free-flowing hair, eye sockets, and wearing some type of elegant dress rather than just a plan mannequin look.

Throwing his arms upward with enough force to free himself, Chili used that motion to reach behind him, grab the figure, throwing it over him and into the one with the destroyed legs that was still on the ground. "These things are starting to really come at me in numbers. Chili thought as he pushed aside a punch from the right into the path of another figure's punch from the front. Quickly pushing the ice husk into the other one and threw them to the left as he dodged right as another one tried to ax him in half. Accidently dodging right into an ice made morning star, that shattered to pieces upon hitting the side of his face. Chili growled audibly as the gashes that the weapon made on his face slowly mended back shut as he grabbed the husk by the throat, the thing sizzling against his touch as he spun on his heels, swinging the figure along with him before sending it crashing into the two he had dodged earlier. Causing them all to become sprawled out on the ground. While they started to get up the one with the axe came after him again.

He turned to counter it however he was grabbed from behind, it only took him a split second reaction to elbow the figure in the head and sent it off him to the side before hastily catching the ice axe that was swung at him sideways from the left with one hand. His right hand shot out grabbing the detailed figure by the throat and pulled it into very close quarters. Pulling his head back and reamed it as hard as he could into the figure's face a few times until its head shattered into pieces and Chili dropped the rest of its body to the ground. A grunt of either surprise or pain made it way through Chili's gritted teeth as one of the less powerful statues grabbed him while the other remaining one rammed a sharp armsickle through his left lower back hard enough for it to poke out through his abdomen. Clutching the head of the figure that grabbed him, Chili applied enough pressure to quickly crush/melt its head into nothing before using his left hand to break the armsickle in half as he simultaneously turned to send a kick into it and broke it in half. As the remaining nine did their best to encircle him Chili coughed a little as pain vibrated through his side, while his wound slowly began to close itself and he started to charge up for another attack not too worried about the strain it was going to put on his wound.

Turning Two Normals into a Single Strong

Chili could have sworn the wind and snow started to pick up turning from the calm snow flurries it began as into a furious blizzard, he didn't have time to really ponder on that thought as he used Flame Burst to zoom forward slamming himself into two of the remaining figures effectively destroying them both as he landed further away, sizzling the snow and melting it as he came rolling to a standstill. As he turned to face the other figures he had to take a double take as he swore that there were six more ice sculptures than there had been recent though they had appeared as if coming with the blizzard. He coughed a little as he was reminded of his injury as the vibrations irritated it, and the little bit of blood that was on his lips tasted of copper. A smile came to his face as the taste seem to set his veins on fire as the figures came rushing at him glad that his aura was keeping him from freezing.
"Despite how everytime I take a few of these things out more seem to pop up out of nowhere and along with the blizzard that is starting, I'm actually enjoying this, haven't been able to take on a large number of cronies in a while." Chili commented to himself in his thoughts off handly as he sidestepped a punch aimed at his face. However as he side dodged, Chili was able to see that behind the group of husks that had emerged from the woods all were contributing their ice making skills to make something. He was unable to see exactly what that was, as the one figure that had charged him tried again this time coming at him dual wielding what appeared to be Dao swords. It swung upwards as he stepped back barely managing to avoid getting his chin knicked as he also made a conscious effort to try and suck in his gut to evade the other sword that was swung sideways as a follow-up. After that, he ducked a swing aimed at his head followed by a downward slice then a swift jab. Which he manages to dodge in the few seconds that the attacks took place in by stepping back and to the left. As it followed after him and made another side swing for his midsection, Chili intercepted the attack, while he still had that stupid grin on his face. He pulled the husk off its balance as to make sure it couldn't continue to swing at him. As it came forward, Chili pulled his arm back and sent a punch straight into its head and shattered it into pieces before dropping the headless ice husk to the ground. Chili was about to turn back to the other husks when out of nowhere a giant ice club slammed into his midsection and sent him bouncing onto the frozen lake. Pushing himself up Chili was back up and standing in a second, though now he was able to see that the remaining six husks had combined their magic together to make an eleven-foot tall hulk of an ice golem complete with a seven-foot-tall club.

A low growl started to erupt from within his chest as the side effect of his aura finally started to take hold of his mind as rage started to cloud it. Chili would usually have concentrated on balancing the rage with focus. Sadly for the husks and the golem, Chili was literal in the middle of a frozen wasteland without any reason to hold back. An animalistic snarl left his lips as he sprinted full speed towards the golem. Seeing him do this the thing went to make a downward swing at him with its club. The golem was too slow however as Chili darted between its legs and used his aura clawed hand to swipe through its back left leg. The thing let out a roar as it sluggishly spun around, trying to use the momentum of the spin to make its club hit even harder. Chili braced himself letting his anger guide his movements and took the hit head-on against his abdomen as his arms grabbed onto it. The golem tried to move its club thinking that it could, however, the thing couldn't get it to budge as Chili who was currently ignoring a few bruised ribs, continued to put pressure as well as heat on the weapon until he effectively broke it in half. The sudden release caused the golem to stumble backward as it dropped what remained of its club, with a heavy thud to the ground. As the golem got its balance back and was about to return with a ram, though it was able to see that Chili had beaten it to the punch. Chili had dashed jumped up to meet the golem face to face where he sent a powerful roadhouse kick into it, before flipping right after completing the kick to follow up with a strong ax kick that sent Chili back to the ground. As soon as his feet even felt what was ground, Chili was already moving as he sprinted between the things legs again as it attempted to grab him with some type of tackling hug move. It succeeded as Chili was squished however this had an unwelcomed side effect on the golem as the heat from the aura's raging red and white flames, dancing together causing the stable structure of the aura's shape to look twisted as Chili freed his right hand from the golem's grasp and started to slam his fist against the golem's chest area as he attempted to break and melt his way to its heart. The thing panicked and raised Chili into the air before sending him back down into the ground with enough force to kill a small horse. Coughing and feeling not only the pain in his aching rips as he felt of the already bruised ones crack a little at the impact. Along with the stab wound, he had received earlier which was mostly healed now, however, it was definitely shooting with pain as he quickly scrambled into a runner position from the laying one he had been in a second before, taking aim at the leg he had already injured once Chili launched himself at it.

It did not take much power to break the leg considering how deep the slash on the back of it from the first attack he landed. The leg shattered into two separate pieces as the golem tried to balance on one foot before falling over like a tree and hit the snow with a soft thud. Chili still in mid-rampage jumped onto its chest with a savage growl and started to slam his fists into its chest. Aiming to finish digging to the things heart and ripping it out and he would have to if it wasn't for the fact an ice made cannonball came flying at him with the speed of a speeding train. Causing him to react as he saw another one coming out of the corner of his eye, as he rolled off the golem and manage to duck out of its way. Though this gave the golem a chance to reach out and snatch his leg with enough pressure to crush a boulder, however, Chili was lucky his bones could take it as he started to kick at the things hand, knowing he would melt it in a few minutes. Unlucky for Chili, however, the golem lifted him into the air and grabbed hold of his left arm. Starting to pull, Chili was only able to curse under his breath as he felt his arm give a sickening pop sound as it was pulled from its socket and then followed the feeling of his skin, tendons, and muscles being stretched beyond their limits. Before a not so nice ripping sound could be heard followed by Chili snarling loudly as his arm was literally ripped off followed by the thing hucking him twenty meters away as its last action before dying with his arm falling next to it. He stood up groggily, shaking the stars from his head as he felt the all too familiar itching sensation of his now missing limb slowly healing into a stub before it would grow outward into a new arm unless he was able to get his limb back and have his ability reattach either one would do. "Mother(bleep)ing golem just disarmed me! (Bleeping) literally disarmed me! I'm gonna crush these asshats into dust!" Chili angry yet humorously thought to himself not only pissed he lost an arm but also pissed he found it funny.

Fluidly swaying to the left as to avoid another barrage of cannon fire that came flying his way. He had to come to a skidding halt as one landed directly in front of him sending up a small cloud of snow and shattered into pretty large chunks of shrapnel. His aura manage to melt the shrapnel down to nothing before it could even hit him. Though he didn't really stop to take note if anything had hit him too busy changing course and charging the line of canons that the husks had apparently made while he was dealing with the golem. Aiming to get the golem in his path Chili was happy that they were in the process of reloading, giving him time to grab his arm before jumping over the golem and onto the other side of it taking cover so he could reattach his arm. Closing his eyes he focused on moving energy into his shoulder as he did his breathing exercises to speed up the healing process. Five minutes past along with a few more well-aimed shots that devastated the golem course. Once everything was reconnected, Chili had to admit a detached limb was definitely easier to heal back on rather than growing a new one in his opinion. Now ready he dashed out and began to head toward the firing line again his shoulder a little sore and numb however it was functional and would become more so as he used it again. Chili was about fifteen meters away from them when in mid-sprint he heard the canon directly in front of his path fire, and instead of dodging to a side he jumped over it barely making the timing. Landing on the ground he dove diagonally sideways as another canon came zooming at him. A third was fired as he came out of the dive roll on his feet and Chili was barely able to dodge it by stumbling to the side. If Chili hadn't been in a different state of mind he probably would have given a sigh of relief upon making it behind the firing line. Instead, he chose to flip the nearest canon straight up in the air before kicking it towards a husk with the right amount of power for the canon to hit the husk and then tip over on top of it. The husk was crushed by the weight of the ice cannon, while Chili turned his attention to the others before he dashed forward to me them head on as they charged him.

Meeting the first of the few head-on by ducking out of the way of a punch before following the dodge up with an upper he smiled as he heard another one shatter as his fist broke it in half before using his palm the launch to upper half at an approaching husk. He flames leaving a blazing trail as his arm came up in a stong block as bat came his way. Twisting his arm around to grip the bat, Chili pulled it away from the husk before headbutting it, destroying its head, followed by him gripping the shoulder of the body and tossing it in front of an attacking husk. It fumbled over its ally's body which gave Chili enough time to get in close and swung his elbow into the things head before kicking it away. He was focused on destroying these creatures while using what remain to block attacks though it didn't work all the time. As he quickly moved sideways to the left, avoiding a bazooka shot from the more detailed husks that look human compared to the dressed up mannequins he'd seen after the regular looking ones. They were almost perfect ice clones of a woman that time had long since forgotten yet the memory remained her frozen.  As the three remaining lesser husks came at him hoping to take him down or at least keep him stationary long enough to get hit. Grabbing on by the head he held on and swung it into one of the husks before throwing it into the other. Sidestepping another shot just into time, he wasn't happy to see that more of the advanced husks were opting for close quarters rather than long-range weapons. Quickly walking over and raising his knee up high as he could before slamming it into the head of one husk finishing it off.  Growling as two of the better ones approached with rather large weapons despite their small frames they could wield massive slabs of ice. Dodging a more than large broadsword aimed for his head with a sideswipe from the left by ducking under it as he moved leftward to be able to come up a few seconds before it recovered from missing. He delivered a swift side kick to its mid by quickly send on his left foot into the things side. Before kicking it into the one approaching with a battle ax. Rushing forward as they both stumbled back, he jumped and sent a well-placed fly kick into the figure. Breaking through it with an aggressive force and landed a slightly lesser powered kick on the one behind it. As he landed he clutched the thing's head and spun to one of the ice husk aiming a bazooka at him. Throwing it to collide mind air with the missile, Chili rushed forward as another missile barely missed him and passed behind him as he went after the currently reloading husk. Slamming his fist into the figure's face before crouching and twisting a little before springing into the air a little. Spinning as he went, Chili threw out his leg to land a double roundhouse kick into the husk.

Sending it to the ground in pieces as the one he used to intercept the missile to try and stab him in the back with a dagger. Hear its foot crunching in the snow behind him Chili spun around and grabbed the thing as he heard another bazooka go off. Spinning around to the other shooter he was able to yet again block the shot, however, the force from the husk exploding when hit and not blocking the full power of the missile pushed him back a few feet as it tilted him back on his heels.  It didn't do any real damage his aura do a good job of protecting him. The two weaker husks had recovered and were attacking him as the last three distance figures stopped firing and decided to take a whack at him. Leaning left as he moved in the same direction sideways, Chili dodged an ice sword arm from the right before his hand shot up and snatched the husk's head. Standing up straight as he turned hastily to his right to see the other on attempting a downward swing, Chili leaned backward and took a few steps back to avoid it. He dashed forward and grabbed its head with his free hand as well. As they struggled to get free Chili snarled savagely as he smashed their heads together with more than enough force to shatter them like glass.

Even in the blizzard, he was able to see that there was three left, though he still didn't know how many lay beyond his field of view. Ducking his head to avoid a thrust, moving it leftward along with taking one step to avoid the downward swing that followed, Chili then stepped forward and sent a punch into the chest of the ice figure. As it moved back a few feet from the force he sidestepped a rather quick ice trident downward stab from another figure. Sending a sideways backhand punch into the things face as he stepped into the attack to put that extra amount of force into it, Chili then swiftly stepped forward, lifted his leg, and sent a strong door breaking forward kick into the advancing katana wielding one. Crouching below a sideways mid swipe from the halberd, Chili put his hand on the ground and used them to give his spin a little more momentum as he sent a low sweep kick into the recovered halberd figure. As it hit the snow with a soft "thud" Chili rolled over into a kneeling position next to it, raising his elbow into the air before fluidly using his strength to crush the head of the husk. Dashing from his position on the ground into a standing position a few meters away, Chili turned to the last two as a wolf like a grin spread across his face, he was going to crush whatever came his way until these things stopped popping up and he was going to have fun letting lose til then.

Jumping at full sprint he hit the katana user with enough force from his kick to send it back a couple meters and fall onto its back as the trident user sent three separate jabs at his midsection. Stepping sideways left and right, as he moved backward, narrowly avoiding the jab before delivering a rather strong punch into the thing's head hard enough to crack the face of it. Following that up with a spinning his kick to its side he dispatched of the trident using figure by effectively crudely breaking it in half. The last one was coming at him at full speed taking a diagonal upward swing from the right at Chili to which he dodged by leaning sideways to the right. Lunging forward as it missed he grabbed its head and started to apply pressure until the head broke to pieces under his grasp. What followed next was the sound of the blizzard wind flowing about loudly through and around the trees. The melted spots from the fight already being covered by freshly fallen snow. Chili's slightly heavy yet even breathing as he calmed a little from the fight yet he could feel the need arising the stimulation of crushing bone and cutting lose filled him with a yearn to spill actually blood. He knew where to direct that urge yet that would be for later, for now, he needed to continue to investigate these husks or at least destroy them all before his aura runs out and he is given only a certain amount of time to find his way out of the blizzard before he freezes to death in the cold.

Chili was unable to think about this matter long as he heard the surface of the frozen lake begin to creak and crack as long breaks appeared in the glistening ice top of the winter wonderland frozen lake top. Letting his rage take hold again he smiled like an animal once more, he would worry about that bridge when became to it, for now, he had some more sculptures to smash hopefully a prize-winning one would show up soon.

Ice Mage's Greatest Work (Job/Solo) Empty Re: Ice Mage's Greatest Work (Job/Solo)

Post by Chili Thompson 10th November 2017, 6:00 pm

The figure that emerged first from the ice's surface was the most detailed and lifelike he had seen and it was definitely the only one putting off a higher level of magic than the others that followed it. More rose up to these ones a group of five moderately detailed to three finely with the single strongest one being extremely over the top detailed.  Exhaling a loud and gruff sound sigh, Chili's face turned into a toothy grin as the thought of crushing these new figures filled him with satisfaction. "Well might as well finish this quick, if I can." Chili commented to himself as he hunched over slightly as he crouched low, ready to speed forward at the group. His movements were interrupted when two pillars of ice emerged on each side of him, as they bent toward him with the single task of crushing Chili between them. Throwing his arms out to each side with his palm facing flat against the surface of each pillar, Chili managed to stop both his their track as he now kept them both from moving. This left him vulnerable as three of the figures dashed toward him while the others got to work making bows and arrows. "The strongest one is the one controlling the pillars and still is attempting to overpower and crush or hold me long enough to let the grunts do the work. Speaking of grunts looks like I need to cube some ice.......that was terrible" Chili thought gruffly as his aura was starting to wear off, giving him some self-sense again. Though he didn't have much time to think as the leader of the pack of three moderately created ones got to Chili, however, he was too fast to react and quickly dashed backward as he learned the same direction. Making the right hook that the figure was gonna throw at him with its icicle-like arm miss and making the two pillars crush said, figure in place of Chili. as he rolled backward from where he had been between the pillars and back into a standing position. Throwing his left arm up and to the side to block an incoming swipe from the number two of the pack who had just kept charging with three not too far behind. As Chili blocked, he swiftly kicked the inside of the figures right knee and cracked its leg slightly. Still gripping its arm as it was melting, Chili had to spin the down figure with him as he dodged a swipe from the third figure who had made an ax as it approached him. That's when the first of many arrows whizzed past his face.

Feeling an urgent sense to duck, Chili crouched down as he simultaneity slammed a diagonally downward aimed right hook into the kneeling ice sculpture's face. As he crouched two more arrows flew through the empty space where he had been only a second before. Chili quickly stretched his left leg out and used the momentum of him swinging it as well as his hands to help throw a backward sweep kick at the ax-wielding figure. He succeeded in swiping the things legs out from under it and sending it to the ground, however, he did not break its legs enough to keep it down long. As the third figure went to get up, Chili now in a kneeling position spun on his knee and ball of his left foot as he swung another right hook into the one-armed, broken-legged figure effectively smashing its head to bits! Turning back around as the one he legs swept got back up on its feet, Chili barely had time to slap his hand together in an arch over his head as he caught the blade of an ice ax a few inches from his face. Applying pressure as he amped up the heat of his flames, Chili ruthlessly broke the weapon! Before the figure could do much else, Chili's  right hand had already extended and clutched its throat in a tight clamp. An arrow passed the space between him and the figure and Chili was soon aware of the next few that were coming his way. Using the sculpture he had as a human shield to block three more arrows, Chili began advancing on the archer group.  As he got within about fifteen meters the lifelike one thrust its arm into the arm and the ground beneath Chili began the shake. Before he could do much as a forty meter in diameter pillar of ice erupted upwards from underneath his feet, Chili managed to keep his footing as he let go of the figure and shot his leg straight out. Connecting a heavy front kick to the figure a sending it off the pillar as it continued to rise!

Suddenly the rest of the figures joined him as the pillar stopped about sixty meters in the sky. Chili rolled his shoulders as noted "I could take a fall from this hight and walk it off in a few minutes though it would seriously hurt!....not to mention now that we are slightly higher the wind is worse. I don't have much room on this platform either so I'm gonna have to be careful."
Chili's thought was correct as he had to take a step back and lean to the right to avoid a swipe from a curved sword as he was backed closer to the edge. As the thing over composited when it missed thin are, Chili took the opening to grab the things arm and slam a heavy forearm blow into the weak part of its arm.  Snapping the arm in half with shattering sound, Chili followed it with a step forward as he thrust an open plan out into the figure's chest. This sent it stumbling backward as Chili himself took a quick step back in the opposite direction himself. Dodging an arrow aimed at his head as it whizzed through the empty air.  Swiftly turning to the side and taking another step back as he avoided a downward strike from a rather large ice morning star that was being wielded by one of the second strongest ice figurines. As the weapon hit the ground, Chili shot out a strong front kick into the hands of the figure which knocked the weapon from its hands before swaying to the right and taking three steps to avoid a few more arrows as he put himself in front of the one that had held the curved sword. Using the momentum from his sideways movement Chili threw out a powerful left legged side kick that landed square into the things head and sent it to the ground. He was lucky there were only three archers or this would have been a different story. Though one of them stopped as it formed itself a pretty dense looking ice staff, coming forth to try and take Chili town while another did the same only with what appeared to be dual war tomahawks. The weakest one stayed with the strongest one as they both fired at him again. Chili manages to turn around in time to catch the strongest figure's arrow which in all honesty was slightly bigger with a spiral twist to the tip.

"If I get hit by one of these anywhere in the torso there is bound to be internal damage." Chili thought to himself in a matter of fact manner as he simultaneously sidestepped and leaned to the left to avoid the other arrow. Tossing the strong arrow to the ground he jumped back a little, putting him only ten meters from the edge of the flat circulatory top of the pillar. Now putting the three advancing figures in his view as well as the archers. His eyes narrowed as he moved his head to the left in a flash, Chili had barely been able to see and process how fast that arrow had come at him. Though he didn't have time to ponder how he did it as the morning star figure returned with its buddy the dual wielder. Dodging a swipe at the head by crouching, Chili had to take a few steps back as well to avoid a lunged dual swipe from the tomahawks. That dual swipe was followed up by two more swings which Chili leaned left and right to avoid while also taking two steps back to keep distance. Before finally, he manages to block the third attempt at a follow-up attack and blocks one swipe before pushing it into the other blocking the figure's attack with its own arm. Chili was only able to do this as he narrowly avoids a thrust from a staff by leaning his head back a second, barely sensing it in time.  Letting go of the dual wielder, Chili snatched the end of the staff while sending a kick into the torso of the one he had been holding. As that one stumbled back the morning star came in from his right going for a left side way swing. Pulling the staff and the user with it, Chili was able to move the staff user into the way of the attack.
The figure stood solidly against the hit however with one recovering, along with the archers not having a good shot and these two stumbled for a second gave Chili the chance to obliterate them both! Kicking the staff figure further into the star one, Chili ripped its own staff from its hands, spun in a quick circle with it, and slammed it into the figures head. The staff shattered against the sculpture's head and as it broke Chili dropped as he dashed forward. Slamming his left fist into the staff wielder's head which he then smashed into the morning star wielder's head, taking both off their feet. Quicking turning his fist into an open hand, Chili snatched onto the face of the staff figure before flinging his arm and hand back to him. The figure was sent flying off the platform to its demise while Chili continued to follow up his hasty assault with a right hook into the morning star one's face. Bring his left arm back from where he had it, Chili delivered a swift uppercut to the underneath of the thing's jaw and sent the head flying off upward with an exasperated "pop!"

Now with a clear shot through the two archers began to fire as the tomahawk figure was now recovered and coming in for a backstab which it timed perfectly for when Chili went to sidestep to the left. He avoided the arrow but not the downward shoulder swipe that dug about four inches into his right shoulder. Not even registering the pain at the moment Chili slammed his elbow back into the face of the figure before grabbing it by the head with both his hands and flipping it up and over his shoulder. As soon as its back hit the ground Chili lifted his right leg and heavily slammed his foot into the things head with a loud "crunch!"
Hearing a whizz as the weak arrowed missed him, Chili let out another muffled grunt as the stronger one's arrow rammed its way through his lower mid left abdomen. Chili gritted his teeth together as the urge to spit up blood came on. Ignore it he quickly grabbed the arrow which had melted small enough to be removed from the hole it had driven into his gut. Throwing it to the ground Chili's face was now a grim line as he focused on ending this fight rather than the feeling of a few damaged organs mending back together. Putting a little strain on it as he crouched which cause some blood droplets to splash onto the glisten surface of the ice, dodging another arrow and dashed forward using up what was near the last of his speed to close the twenty-five-meter distance between him and the archers. The weak one stood in his way when he arrived near them, it tried to get in a close-range shot however it missed and was met by a jumping roundhouse kick to the head which not only shattered its head but sent it to the side. It was just Chili and the lifelike one. Chili was not that exhausted magically and his stamina was still fine, moving fast just kept putting the strain on the wounds that were currently healing themselves. The final figure forwent the bow and created an aggressively huge hammer and raised it above its head. Dashing quickly towards him in such the thing didn't have much distance to close as it appeared before him in a second and brought the hammer swinging downward to him. Chili thrust his right palm upward, palm flat to block the hammer by negating the blow with equal or greater force. He was successful in stopping the hammer before he lowered his arm a tiny bit before pushing with full force. Sending the hammer back into the figure that wielded it and threw the thing off balance. This gave him time to get in close and send a heavy kick into the inside of the left leg and followed that up as he sprung into the air and sent a flying kick into the thing's torso. Sending it even more off balance the figure made the hammer disappear as it swapped it out for two curved medium lengthed ice swords.

It came at him with a vengeance. Swinging left sideways first, Chili managed to block its sword and get a single punch into its chest before having to let go and duck beneath another side swipe from the other sword. Chili danced around the figure to its left as it sent another hit into where its side ribs would have been if it had had any. The thing spun and tried to get him with a sideswipe however Chili had jumped back just in time. As the thing over spun a little leaving its back unprotected, Chili moved forward quickly and as he came to a sturdy stop behind the thing and swiftly sent a hard side kick with his left foot smashing into the side of the ice clone. It spun around slower this time and only swinging one sword to try and nail him, though Chili dodged again by ducking. "All this dodging is really aggravating that arrow wound.....gotta focus on the fight for now and where to hit next." Chili contemplated to himself as the crouching of the duck did the very thing he was thinking about. He came back up to meet the figure face to face with a strong uppercut, Chili was able to follow that with a strong front kick to the thing's torso which did send it back as a crack formed on its center. The figure didn't waste time in counter-attacking as it tried to dash forward and hit him with a double side swipe however Chili had done something unexpected. Using a good amount of force he had half dashed half sprung forward to meet the figure with a gut push that took it off its feet. Now with both him and the figure air born and flying over the edge of the pillar, Chili grabbed a hold of the figure and positioned it beath him. " I would tell you to brace yourself but it doesn't matter.....at this point you are just an ice made human-sized buffer!" Chili yelled over the wind as they went falling through the air and back to the ground that the fight had started on.
Chili groaned as he rolled off the three separate broken pieces of the "boss" figure that had helped somewhat as a buffer, though Chili could still feel the few broken ribs he would have to wait to heal once he was back on the ship. Speaking of he needed to get out of the blizzard before his aura dissipated and he froze to death. First pushing himself into a kneeling position Chili stood up stiffly as his legs ached from the shock absorption of hitting the ground.

Now standing upright with a slight slouch Chili scanned the ground before him as his gaze swept around the clearing. He could make out the base of the hill and luckily despite the heavy snowing he could still see where his aura had melted the snow earlier. He'd be able to make his way back to the ship just fine and he was looking forward to a nice hot bath in an inn once he got back to the small village that was near the edge of the island. There he can wait for the ship to arrive and pick him up the next day. For now, though he needed to move and get to an inn. So with that, he set off in the correct direction for the port side village. He would have continued to look into the cabin however with his limited time and blizzard, retreating to shelter and warmth would probably be the best idea.
