Was I here before? zecarayus thought to himself as he walked down the neighborhood sidewalk in clover town to his next town. Maybe he had visited in the time when he lost his magic, as his amnesia was still pretty bad about that gap in time. He kept himself occupied with his thoughts until he got to the address in question. The house looked nice from here, and zecarayus questioned himself if he had the wrong address or not. But it was the right house, and the key confirmed it as it opened the lock. Zecarayus opened the door slowly and cautiously peeked his head in, once seeing it was clear, he entered and closed the door behind him. He put the pack down on the corner table next to him as he spread out his hands.

"All right, lets go ghosts!" he said aloud, and the three skulls in the air formed before dissipating to his summons; lantern, jackfrost, and mary. All of them were ghost'd and looking at zecarayus awaiting his command. "Do a quick search around the house and backyard, look for flies and dogs." he ordered. The three nodded and split up, one went to the backyard, one upstairs, and one around the main floor. Zecarayus sat down on the floor as he waited, having this many summons out was the quickest way for this, but it puts an incredible strain on him if he kept it up for even a few minutes.

A minute had passed by before all three ghosts came back to zecarayus, and already zecarayus felt like he was being crushed.  "What'd ya see?" he asked impatiently, wanting the weight to be gone as soon as he could.

"The top floor has lots o flies! It's like a fog up there!" Jackfrost exclaimed.
"The backyard looks clear of any dogs, though there is a hole in the fence big enough for it to go through." Mary stated.
"Ok here" lantern said quickly in it's eerie tone.
"Great! I call on ya if I need ya." zecarayus said in a hurry, satisfied with there answers
"But can't we explore the house please? Might be some fun spots in here." Mary asked, lantern and jackfrost nodded agreeing with her.
"No, maybe after the job is done ok? It's a lot of strain to keep all three of you out."

The three gave off a collective sigh as they returned back to the house, hoping zecarayus would let them have there fun later. Zecarayus gave off a sigh of relief and laid back on the floor, the weight was gone as soon as all three had left. He wanted to lay there longer, but he knew this jobs should be done today so that he didn't have to come back tomorrow and risk the owner showing up. He got to his feet and stood, preparing himself for the task at hand. He went to grab his pack and went to the kitchen counter. He started grabbing things and taking them out. A face mask, goggles, fly spray, and two sets of packaged thin steak. Zecarayus had planned out today and believed to have enough to deal with any problems he could reasonably encounter. The owner of the house was kind enough to let zecarayus use his tools to fix the hole in the roof, so zecarayus didn't have to spend a lot to get what he needed.

First thing that needed to be settled was finding this hole that the neighbors dog kept getting into the house with. Zecarayus realized then it would had been better if he asked mary where the hole was. But not wanting to get the ghosts hopes up unless he needed them. He began to search around the main floor of the house. A half-hour of searching yielded no hole to be seen, and zecarayus was beginning to wonder how this dog got in the house. Then he happened to take a look outside in the backyard and realized, mary had searched the backyard, not the main house. He felt stupid about forgetting about that, and went to go outside. Once outside the hole in the fence was as clear as day. He sighed to himself and decided to begin to patch up the hole. He noticed stray planks leaning on the shed and discarded gardening stones, and had a plan worked out.

He went over to get the planks moved to the fence when he heard a loud bark. Zecarayus turned around in time to see a big, big dog running towards him. "Jackfrost!" he yelled out as he began the summon. Jackfrost came out, and was quick on ghosting the dog as it nearly made contact with zecarayus. The dog collided with zecarayus, though he felt nothing. The dog still ghost'd, began to bark and jump on zecarayus, which would had floored him if it wasn't for ghost'd. Zecarayus ordered jackfrost to get one of the steaks from inside, and jackfrost was quick to do so(though the glass door was difficult to phase through with food at first). Zecarayus caught the steak that was passed to him, and took it out to wave in front of the dog.

"Who wants food? You want food? You want food!" zecarayus said in a high voice before throwing the steak over the fence, the dog, excited for the steak, barrled through the hole in the fence, which he would had caved it if it weren't for ghost'd. Jackfrost and zecarayus wasted no time to get the hole patched while the steak and ghost'd bought time for them to work. Once done, zecarayus heard the dog whine as he wanted back through the fence, but a rough no seemed to stopped him for now.

Zecarayus sighed as he let jackfrost go back to the house, before he began the next step in his plan. He unwrapped the other steak and began to cover it in bbq sauce that was found in the cubboard. At this point some of the flies had migrated downstairs toward the meat, and it was a sign to zecarayus of good things. Putting on the goggles and fly spray, he took the meat upstairs to the fog of flies around. He had barely entered the hallway of the floor when the flies flooded him. He put the meat on the ground as fast as he could before rushing downstairs. He had to shake himself as random flies freed themselves from under his shirt sleeves and collar. After a few minutes in waiting he grabbed the fly spray and ventured upstairs. The sound of aggravated buzzing became apparant and he slowed his approach to a crawl. Once he peaked his head around the corner, he could see the reason of the buzzing. The meat he had laid out was covered completely with flies, around it laid piles of dead flies. Zecarayus could only assume that they fought over the meat. But it was a unexpected boon, as it meant less flies to spray down and kill.

After a few minutes of frantic spraying and a can of spray, zecarayus made quick work of sweeping and cleaning up all the fly corpses and the infested meat. With two of the things done, the one task left was fixing the hole in the roof. He learned it was a small one, so it should be a easy fix. However there was one more issue. The ladder available to zecarayus was the worst one he had ever seen, the balance was terrible after the first rung. Zecarayus was not wanting to take the risk of falling off decided a better idea. He took a deep breath, then summoned out both mary and lantern.
    "Yes?" both asked in unison.
"I want you two to go up to the roof to patch up a hole in it ok?"
"K-k!" lantern exclaimed and flew to the top of the house.
"Do we have to? I don't even know how to fix a roof." She complained to him.
"It should be a quick thing since from what I was told it was a small hole. Besides I'l be there directing the both of ya!" zecarayus responded reassuringly.

With uncertainty but with faith in zecarayus, the duo of ghosts were able to nail the replacement tile in the roof. Both came down, lantern looking happy with its accomplishment while mary still looked unsure.
"It's that easy to fix a roof?" mary asked zecarayus while he began to put away the nails and hammer.
"Yeah, honestly the home owner will have to get it properly set in since were not actual pros at it." he answered.
Mary looked confused from the answer and looked to respond with a question, but then lantern interrupted with his own, "Scare time?!" Mary became equally enthusiastic at the thought of scaring others, and zecarayus realized that he was going to have to let them do something eventually. "Let me finish cleaning up here, then we can go by a park or a alleyway ok guys?" The two ghosts looked disappointed but obliged and returned back to there home. Zecarayus with a sigh finished locking up the house and left the spare keys inside. By the time he was done it had already become evening, the sun resting in the horizon. With a sigh he made his way back to the station, trying to think of a way to appease his ghosts who were wanting to cause trouble.
