A small cobblestone path leading through the somewhat overwhelming vegetation. It was somewhat hard to believe that there actually was a village there, especially with the cursed ancient ruins that were nothing but trouble so close by. But Leila believed the man that she had met in the city and that begged her for help. And even if it would turn out to be false alarm, at least she got a nice walk out of it. And that was always something! Though he did appear to be quite desperate. He was not with her right now, as he remained in the city to search for more help, as apparently one mage would surely not be enough to do the job. And in a sense, the girl agreed with him on that. If he spoke the truth and his whole village was overrun by bandits, then having some sort of backup would be helpful beyond words. But right now, the girl just had to scout out what the situation really was like.

And soon, she found out for herself. It was just like the man said... even from distance, she could see the reinforcements at the gates, along with thugs walking about in patrols. It was kinda hard to tell, but there were surely at least couple dozens of them inside without a doubt. Even if they were bandits, they wouldn't be able to take over a village like that if their numbers were small. And that was the most worrying part of this new contract that the girl fell into. Trying to remain far in the distance, she waited. Not only was a desolate village like this pretty well defended, but there was also possible reinforcements coming. And the Eden's mage was smart enough to wait and see who she could rely on before charging in like a headless chicken and probably loosing that head of hers in the process.

Haia could not believe she actually decided to help a random man she met on the streets. Haia remembers the poor chump hobbling over after talking to some fancy looking gal in purple and telling her that Haia looked strongee and he was afraid she might be sending the girl to her death. Haia raised an eyebrow at him, as she recalled, and asking his reasons for doing so. But the long conversation was enough, she grabbed the old man and bursts into the air and stalked Leila from above, keeping an eye out for the village as well.

After much flying she spots the village. Spiked barricades were put up around the village, tall walls with sharp ends bordered the poor citizens. Turrets were erected and clearly the leader of these bandits had some leadership and tactical intelligence. Marauders were stationed near areas of possible entry as much smaller thieves ransacked houses and harassed villagers. Haia then spots Leila crouching behind rocks, trying to survey cautiously. Haia drifts a bit back before plunging down towards Leila.

And at the last few meters, Haia makes her a parachute and lands softly in the sands next to Leila, clutching a somewhat terrified old man in her arms. After putting the old man to a comfortable position, without a word, Haia looks at Leila and gave a deadpan scan of the girl, probably shocking her but gives no heed. After a brief look over, Haia concludes her plans.

"Hey, you were the girl who met an old man who told you to help save his place, well here he is, and I'm your help," Haia extended an arm in greeting. "Starstruck, Haia Illie Starstruck"

The waiting didn't have to be long, as the girl soon felt another's magical presence. And she didn't even have to search for it either. Another lady showed up just moments later from the air above, seemingly flying to this position. Hopefully the bandits didn't quite see that, as a flying person was always somewhat suspicious. Her introduction was quick and somewhat unique, making Leila stand up and strike a cheerful somewhat saluting position. "Name's Leila Vergious, a wandering mage of Golden Phoenix!" For some reason, she felt unused to introducing herself as part of that guild even though there really wasn't much of a gap when she wasn't a member for her mind. But that was something she would have to think about later. She was on a job right now, even if it wasn't quite a planned one. And she had to devote all her attention to it if she wanted to succeed!

Looking back over to the village the Eden's mage scratched her head again and sighed, somewhat ignoring the poor man who Haia bought along with her. "They certainly have numbers on their side. I can feel your magical energy pretty clearly, but I hope it will be enough." After all, she wasn't very confident in her own powers right now. She was weak and pretty much starting over. An enemy clear job like this? It could have very well been way over her head. But she had to try and having someone on her side this time helped her quite a bit too. If not in actual power, then at least morale. Now the question was just how would they enter that place and start clearing it out without being surrounded by tens of bandits at once? Or maybe that was the best strategy after all, it really depended on what skills this somewhat short girl possessed.

Haia cocked her head back to the village, eyeing what numbers she could spot.
Then Haia got up and stretched herself before placing a foot on the rock that they were hiding behind.

"Well if there is one plan I have in mind, its doing this!" Haia lifts her foot and kicks the rock down, causing it to tumble down at high speeds and crashing through their ranks from the sudden rock. But it did certainly reveal Haia, Leila and the old man with them. Haia then puts on a grin and stood proudly. "Leila allow me to clear them up, you protect the poor guy for me while trying to help villagers in need ya?
" Haia then runs in and draws her long bow, pulling on the drawstring with an arrow at ready.
The girl shot a marauder in the neck and landed a kick on a thief who tried to backstab her. Haia honestly would have been enough to clear the village on her own.

Slowly the girl had become swarmed by bandits and their like, with a big bruly looking man among their ranks commanding their everyone move. Haia grinned and quickly flew into the air, wings of blue and black taking her to the azure skies. Haia aims her bow downwards, flapping her wings to maintain altitude as energy bullets came at her. The light mage does an aerial dance to dodge the bullets that went her way before hailing an arrow and the arrowhead pierces a Gunslinger's hand. Haia looks about, making sure most attention was on her. If the plan was not obvious, it was for Haia to become the bait while Leila and others escape so the girk had free rein of the battle without having to worry about other's safety in battle.

Ah, so she was this kind of person. Leila could only somewhat blankly stare at the girl in front of her who just willingly moved the one piece of proper cover they had, using it as offensive tool instead that quickly brok apart potion of the village's defenses. And the moment she ran off to have her fun, the Eden's mage would sight out loud as the helpless men stood up next to her. It was a gesture followed by a quick smile as the girl extended her hand forward, a silver light forming a weapon of her own. She too was a wielder of a bow, though this one was far from anything ordinary. Arrows of magical blue light would quickly form in her other hand as she stared sniping down enemies from afar, those that didn't quite make it to Haia, and she didn't quite make it to them just yet. After all, it would be rather unfair it just one girl had to do all the hard work! Another big difference was that the magical arrows merely caused a shock and non lethal damage to one's body, making the bandits collapse as their minds went into state of slumber.

Once the path was properly cleared, she would leave the man behind knowing that none of the enemies would make their way towards this spot, as they were far too focused on the thread at hand. Sprinting through the chaos and steadily growing pile of bodies, Leila would locate several hunts that were locked with iron locks, erratic and panicking voices coming from within. Precise arrow shots were all that was needed to free the imprisoned villagers, who wasted no time at all running out and towards the one man who managed to get them this kind of help. Still, there were bandits that quickly turned away from the dancer of blue flames in order to re-capture the poor innocent souls. But those would have to go through the Eden's mage who was not having it, as a group of the bandits even managed to get trapped in the roots that she set up while everything was going on. She too was wearing a confident smile. "Can't let you have all the fun, can I?"

Haia stomped on the face on another marauder as she looked at Leila, clearly capable of fighting some foes herself. The comment only made her grin.

"If that's the case let's make the tims worth it then!" Haia smiled proudly as she brought and her hands together, a brilliant white bursting forth and a sword of light appeared in her hands. The blade whirled and delivered crushing blows to a Marauder and his band of bandits. The girl then spins and punches, only to miss and tumble on the ground. Haia cursed as all weapons were now pointed at her, and the girl is not risking blowing up.

A simple nod was probably enough of the answer. But there were problems ahead. The boss of this entire operation managed to get up from the ground as he was taken aback by one of the previous attacks. But now he was ready to fight. "Look at you two lassies messing up my plans. Guess I'll just have to show you what real power meas and then see if you can get me better price than all those villagers!" Magical power. He certainly had some of it, as his body suddenly became engulfed in flames. And it appeared that Haia was in not the greatest of situations as well. Leila had to use one of her stronger cards this time... and she planned to finish this whole ordeal with it as well. Instead of engaging the man directly, she started running around, having him chase her. Though he was also capable of using attacks on longer range, which made it much more difficult. But several burns and seconds later, the Eden's mage finally managed to alight the shot.

"Be judged be the wind that hates to be bound! And just like you bound those villagers... it's raging. This is the end! Wolf Shot!"

The best attack she currently had. Wind started gathering around her arrow as she released it, a line quickly being draw through Scourge. The arrow flew through him like a bullet, much faster than he could react. And the main point of it all was, wolf shot was capable of traveling through enemies and objects. And soon enough, the arrow would also the rest of the bandits that managed to line up next to Haia. That was the point of Leila running around like a dog without leash, because she only had one shot to down them all. And somehow, she managed to do it. Though at the cost of her skin being burned at several places, something that would be healing for quite a while. "We did it..."

Letting out a heavy sigh, she would look around. The village still looked mostly fine, safe for the bodies everywhere. One, two... at least thirty of them were scattered all over and done fighting for today. They would probably have to call for an entire squad of royal knights if they wanted to clean up mess like this one. But at least it was over and the girls could high-five for finishing the contract alright!

Haia felt relieved by the fact that she was saved. The girl got up and looked around, the mess was a bit, extreme, but it was no big matter to Haia. So there she was, Leila. Haia walked over to her and ruffled her locks, with much difficulty due to height difference.

"Good job, thanks for saving my hide, now let me do you a favor," Haia cracks her knuckles before touching one of Leila's burns and a white glow is produced. Slowly, Haia heals the burns on Leila's body and giving Leila a slap on the back.

    "Let's eat! I'll treat ya!"
