    Details:

Mashyuu, Itsu and Imai sat around a table next to the job board in the Sabertooth Guildhall, laughing about a few jobs they had done in the past with one another and generally enjoying one another's time. Mashyuu couldn't help but continue glancing past Imai to the board behind him. Seemingly half the guild had stopped at the board, looked at the same flyer then walked away. Mashyuu slowly leaned forward and gently motioned towards the paper. "Itsu, give me that flyer right there." He ordered. The young woman, who was currently sitting next to Itsu reached behind her and grasped the page then handed it to Mashyuu. The brown haired Wizard let his glowing blue eyes scan the page carefully, then went over it again. "What's it about Mash?" Mashyuu glanced at Itsu and gave her a look, something that silently told her not to call him that while they were with others. "It's our next job guys. Turns out some folks have been killing people at the Oak Inn, taking on the guise of nobles and luring prey into the inn and killing them. Rune Knights want some Wizards to go in, clean the place out and bring the captives in for arrest." Mashyuu explained. He then stood up and patted the gold and sapphire scabbard that held Excalibur and motioned for the team to get moving....

The travel took one day but the team arrived at Oak Inn, the sun had just set when the trio came to the road that the inn rested on. At the steps leading to the front door was a man in a black hooded cape, sitting on the bottom step with his head bowed low as if he were sleeping. Above the door was a large piece of wood hanging from two chains that had a massive oak tree that had a door inscribed into it with the name of the place arching above the tree. The inn itself was made or a thick red oak, such as its name sake. "Well this is the place. Remember we need to get to the basement and find our way around. Imai, can you or your little buddy there move around inside and find the door to get us to the basement?" Mashyuu asked while the trio headed inside the inn.

Inside the inn, small tables, with enough room to seat four to a table were crowded with patrons, each talking about various things happening in their lives. At the far wall was a long bar, three women working the bar in unison to keep the customers happy while a large burly man sat by the front door, watching the patrons to make sure they all kept their wits about them. The room was lit with torches that were set up at every corner of the room, keeping the light low but bright enough to see everything. Mashyuu and Itsu both scanned the room to see if they could find any obvious door leading down but with four doors it was hard to tell one way or the other. Mashyuu walked over to a table and sat down then kicked out two chairs for the others to sit in while they went over their plans.

His soda kept reaching his mouth and he slurped time after time while having a nice chat with Mashyuu and Itsu. They were awesome company, and he couldn’t help but distract himself with some soda once in a while to clench his hydration. The Earth God had done hilarious things in the past, wrecking some dude’s head through walls as a marvelous example. Imai had, in other terms, been quite cocky when it came to memories. “Listen, listen, listen, listen, listen… I could’ve annihilated their butts and made them worship me if I had to,” he comically commented, while swinging the bottle up for another slurk. Mashyuu had begun to ask for a certain flyer, but as he analyzed every dot of it, a rather funny nickname that Imai hadn’t come up with was spoken. “*chuckle*… Mash…” he couldn’t keep his mouth shut.

Oh well, the flyer came with the information of a certain inn in a certain town, a place that Imai couldn’t recall. Perhaps he hadn’t been there before, in which this was the chance to take a first visit. Mashyuu was already on the move, and Imai responded by dunking his bottle at the table and proclaiming: “I’m on my way!” They then moved out of the guild hall, into the travelling areas that contained the route between their location and Oak Inn, and took a journey through that for about a day. Imai still held a bottle, despite leaving the other one at the guild hall; he’d gone thirsty once or twice or ten times during the route, so it was lucky to have some soda to the aid. Their mission was to clear out the gang that had gone on some bloody rampage here, and Imai was more than ready to begin. He quickly nodded to Mashyuu and moved in. “Oak Inn sure deserve their name, given by- ouch!” he let out during his statement as a splinter had been drilled into his middle index finger, “O-Okay, I got to be careful here…” He quickly scanned around, just as Mashyuu and Itsu did. Sei flew above the several other guests’ heads and looked for the door that they were supposed to find. A secret door was located somewhere in this hall, and if they found it quick enough, then maybe traces of the previous objective were there.

The door was well hidden, though. Imai found himself striving pass men, women, bartenders and other groups of people who just wanted to enjoy their break. His feet marked every corner in the room in order for him to search for that damned door, but luck wasn’t in his way. Saddened and tired of looking around, he rejoined Mashyuu at a table where two seats were prepared for him and Itsu. “Hummm… if there really is a door to the basement, then I don’t really see it showing up for me,” he complained with a disappointed sigh, “… perhaps if we ask the staff, then they can- no, that wouldn’t do. Who knows, those guys might have their connections with them…” His voice was lowered by many reasons, but he wasn’t exactly gone. In the staff room was what looked like a door downwards, but they had to get permission, somehow…

Imai walked around the bar and sat across from Mashyuu and Itsu, explaining that he couldn't find anything but he didn't realize how helpful his walking had been. It allowed Mashyuu to sense the vibrations in the ground all over the place up until the point where he could feel the way the base of the ground level floor was dug out for steps. Mashyuu leaned in close and motioned for Itsu to look at the wall that hid the door. A single guard stood there, his arms crossed over his massive chest while he looked over the bar to make sure nobody was getting to close to the door next to the bar. "Itsu, would you do us all a favor and go seduce that guard, lure him away from the door so Imai and I can sneak inside?" Since he had gotten his memories back, Mashyuu had become much more adept at thinking of plans and ways to deal with issues that didn't require his fist driving into someone's skull. The idea though caused Itsu to flush red as she adjusted the hem of her white body armor to pull snug against her. "fine, but if I knock him out that's on you Mashyuu! I won't stand for some brute trying to manhandle me!" She nearly yelled then calmed herself and stood up. She winked at Imai then sauntered over to the guard, pressed against him and whispered something in the mans ear. He blushed so hard his skin started to look like a tomato and he nodded up and down. Slowly he looked around and opened the door behind him and led Itsu through it. "Oh man, Itsu's gonna knock that guy out cold as soon as they get down the steps. Come on, lets get going." Mashyuu stated and with Imai got up and slowly moved towards the door.

At the base of the steps, Itsu was giggling at a joke the guard had said while she reached to the small of her back and drew her small black dagger. As the man dropped her guard Itsu swiftly raised her dagger and slammed the pommel of the weapon into the back of the mans head. The sudden strike knocked the man out cold. He grunted just before he smashed into the ground and the door opened up behind and above her. Itsu spun around and readied her weapon until she saw Mashyuu and Imai. She sighed and replaced her weapon on the small of her back then waved to the men while she walked to drag the guard away from the view of anyone coming down the steps. In the mean time Mashyuu walked down the steps and glanced around curiously. "Oh boy, this is gonna be rough. It's not a normal maze around here... Something tells me we will have to get to the center. So. Three doors, three of us. Do we split up or stay together?" Mashyuu asked while he pointed at three wooden doors that were set into the walls on any side of them.

Something in Mashyuu’s movement revealed that he might’ve got an idea or some kind of plan in the meanwhile where Imai was gone. When the Earth Mage motioned Itsu to the wall where a guard was found, Imai followed the trail with his vision. It was quite a huge guard, about a good amount of dozens of feet tall, and with crossed arms and a strong signal to brake people who were moving too close to the door next to his position. Sei popped up its head as it returned, looking the same way as Imai and the others. However, the Earth Guy’s plan involved seduction, a very awkward topic for the cosmic mage. “S-Seduce-?” he stammered with a flustered face. Man, he was barely mentally ready to even spectate such thing; actually, that was merely what he thought. It wouldn’t take much time until he actually looked forward to the scene… wait, was he expecting too much? Noticing his eager expression, he blushed even more and decided to hide his face under the table for now.

“If he tries to touch you… then give him a bad time like no other..!” the red-haired mage prompted Itsu, before watching her move towards the brute. Her wink was noticed, in which a lot of self-confidence was shown to him. … Yeah, she’ll have no problems, he thought. She even made the brute open the door like it was doomsday, in which Mashyuu warned Imai to get on the move. “On it,” he replied, before slowly making their way towards the staircase behind the door. It was way darker inside than out at the inn, but the dark mood would make it easier for Itsu to trick that guy. Now that Mashyuu and Imai had made it into the secret room, the atmosphere grew thick with tense. His largened eyes witnessed how Itsu had knocked him out with the pommel of her dagger, sending the man into his dreams. “!” He flailed his arms back at her turn, but luckily, she didn’t stab them down with the thought of them being reinforcements of the objective, “… Phew, I almost met my days there.” He walked alongside the Earth Mage while taking a good look around, and given by Mashyuu’s words, they would have a tough time finding around. He also stated about the next doors in front of them; Sei’s head popped out of Imai’s shoulder as they were asked. “Hm… I say… wait, give me a moment,” Imai spoke as he suddenly pulled out two bottles of soda. Taking a few 10 seconds in drinking the first one, he stood up again with the other bottle on his hand, continuing: “Okay, so… *burp* I say that we stick together. If we end up splitting up, and if there is only one way to the center, then two of us will most likely get lost-“ A large lamp appeared on top of his head, because apparently, his blabbering gave him an idea. The footsteps that were heard just briefly at that moment could indicate their next move, and if he tried to lure the enemies out, then they would reveal the way to them. The footsteps were halved afterwards, in which Imai came up with the idea… and BURP! Just as he burped a second time, his eyes were focused on the three doors. A few moments passed with absolute concentration, before he suddenly ramped into the one to the left, crashing into a group of knight-looking underlings. “This way, guys!!!” he roared in excitement, happy that his plan looked efficient… for now.

The faces of both Mashyuu and Itsu twisted in annoyance when Imai started to burp like a child, indeed he was one and sometimes they simply forgot that. After the second burp, Mashyuu then had to draw his blade and place the tip into the ground when is tremor sense started to go insane from every direction. "Imai stop!" He warned the boy who slammed into a door. After he crashed through the other two doors opened up and ten men in full plate armor with swords and shields came from each doorway. The Earth God winced at the sight of them all as did Itsu. "Shit!" Mashyuu whispered. "Mashyuu, its to crowded in here!" She called out. The Earth God groaned in an annoyed tone, Imai did good in a way, drawing everyone out now but being surrounded on all sides was a bad situation. Mashyuu dropped to a knee and dragged his left hand across the ground in an arc before him. "Earth Gods Molten Blast!" He called out as magma rolled up from the ground and washed over five men, melting their armor in the process. Mashyuu couldn't help but grin at the men who recoiled. Itsu followed up by inhaling a glowing burst of energy then spit it out at the group Mashyuu had just attacked. "Ghost Touch!" The resulting blast blew ten men backwards and into a wall, stunning them. This was it, at least for now, a heavy fight in close quarters. Mashyuu would be fine here but would the others? The God Slayer roared and pulled his sword back behind his back to block two quick strikes then twisted his body around and drove his left fist into the jaw of a guard. He pushed his blade up and rolled a weapon out of a knights hand then slammed his head into the guards face, breaking the man's nose, sending the guard reeling from pain. The Earth God jumped back to the stair well that he had come down a few moments ago. Mashyuu lifted his hand and snarled then shouted. "Get into a room! Secret Art: Earth Gods Sand Twister!" He commanded while opening his left palm. Itsu teleported behind Mashyuu just as he hurled a massive twister of sand through the door way, hitting everyone in the room repeatedly, knocking most of them out cold.

The battle was over and the duo of Mashyuu and Itsu rejoined Imai back in the room. Mashyuu did his best to pile the bodies up and keep them in a few corners. "Good and bad idea man. But hell, lets see what happens from here. Is that the door you want to go down?" Mashyuu pointed to the door Imai slammed into and let his body light up like a small torch. He entered the hall and walked down the bricked up area while he put his sword away, knowing it was too crowded to battle in at the moment with the long blade.

Okay, his plan would’ve sounded reasonable, because what was going to be revealed from the enemy was the way that they took. Behind the doors were long roads that appeared to hide very small holes in the end of what appeared to be a blind end. He couldn’t see the entrances from the two other doors, mainly due to the amount of obstacles in the way. Swiftly, he kicked them away with his left heel, sending them towards Mashyuu who had an Earth Spell ready. Soon, the room’s temperature increased by the lava that molted through their armors and left them unharmable. The main group headed for Mashyuu and Itsu, but they appeared to have things under control despite the surprise attack. That was when Imai moved further into the room to get in a safe area from Mashyuu’s next spell. “Tsch! T-The god is awaken… wait, what if-“ Imai suddenly conspired. Last time that Mashyuu was in a tight spot, he literally turned into a mental warrior. What if that happened again?

Strangely, the battle ended quite quicker than expected, and Imai could safely watch Mashyuu walk into the same room that he found himself in. Imai couldn’t but nod quickly at what the Earth Mage asked; even though a bad feeling developed. Just as he thought of this a brilliant, it yet had some flaws that could’ve been fatal for the mission. … I mean, it was still a good idea, man, he thought with a rather let down face, following troops with Mashyuu and Itsu. Sei was still grabbing onto his shirt on the back like usual, but at the moment, Imai wished to make up the flaws and actually show just how critical that he could be for the mission’s success. Clenching a fist with a little more confidence, he smiled a little and began drinking the other bottle up, noting: “Oh, don’t worry, I won’t burp like last time… hehehe.” The hallways were getting smaller as they approached, in which the star mage was getting nervous… was this some kind of joke? No way that the knights from before could’ve entered through such a- “Wait, that must be it..!” he spoke up again, “Big bro! Can you search for any secret entrances around here?” His eyes shone stars at the start, but as he was getting to the point, they turned into those of a classic professor. “*cough* As you might’ve noticed, these walls are placed too close for the knights to have any chance of moving through. No signs of magic can be seen from what I see…” He began taking glances at the ground below all their feet, “I saw a hole a moment earlier… they came up from below, so perhaps this maze is multi-floored.”

    ”Behind you..!!!”

An ethereal voice caused Imai’s eyes to roll back towards behind where the silhouette of a dagger was spotted. It was aiming at his face, but thanks to the warning, the star mage just caught up with a flat kick on the underling’s jaw, causing him to be launched up at the hatch, only to fall down again. He quickly got back up, spotting the cosmic mage on his feet and looking down at his face. The underling quickly spoke: “Y-You’re mine..!” and sent up the dagger towards his face again. Imai responded by turning to the left rapidly, grabbing the hand that was holding the dagger at that moment. A bluish, foggy aura enveloped his hands as the left one was holding onto the hand of the underling, its aura crushing the metallic blade in the meanwhile. While the enemy’s eyes were astonished, Imai clenched the other hand, sending a blue light fist up his jaw in a classic Mashyuu-style, sending him feet away from them. “Aaaaaaand our next enemy is approaching the down for the count..!” he commented with a commentator’s voice.

"Secret doors? Yeah I can find em. Give me a bit and I'll see what we can come up with." Mashyuu responded to Imai's question. Itsu stopped in her tracks and leaned against the now narrowing wall. Her deep green eyes fell shut and she sighed with a bit of annoyance at the job. She didn't mind at all the company but going to get lost in another maze just sort of seemed to bug her more than anything else. Mashyuu in the mean time started to tap on the walls with one hand and kept the other planted firmly against the stone work, letting his tremor sense do its job. All this however was stopped when he heard Imai get into a fight. As the boy did battle with a spear holding cultist Mashyuu's sharp ears twitched, the sound of a spear whistling through the air caught his attention and held it. Mashyuu stood up straight and extended his left hand. A web like bow of pure energy appeared in his grasp. He pulled a magical bowstring back and released it, launching an energy arrow out that smashed into a spear, splintering it in a single blast. The Wizard smirked until he saw Imai drive his fist so hard into a man that the cultist went sailing through the air and hit the ground. It seemed more were coming and Mashyuu really didn't want to deal with that many thugs at the moment. He wanted the big fish. Mashyuu's hand reached out then his elbow bent up as he spoke. "Earth Gods Rock Wall!" Before Imai, a large stone wall shot up and blocked off the path the Sabertooth Wizards were on. "Imai, I found the door but I need time to get it open. I'm gonna eat it, when that wall comes down take anyone who comes through out." Mashyuu almost ordered the younger Wizard. The man dropped down and started to eat the floor, large chomp after large chomp while Itsu readied herself to teleport when she would be close to the floor. Suddenly the wall came down and Itsu fired off a blast past the broken wall to weaken Imai's foes. Mashyuu continued to eat and swallowed a piece of stone that was the final peace to the door problem, a lock. Suddenly the ground under Mashyuu, Itsu and Imai fell out, dropping the trio nearly twenty feet into darkness...

After Imai’s devastating finishing blow of doom… or whatever you would call the uppercut, signs of more enemies were spotted. He could hear the footsteps approach them from the front. He quickly clenched his fists and prepared for the wave, when a huge wall was manifested before him and Sei. He was a little flustered by the interruption, but apparently, Mashyuu and Itsu had found the door that would lead them down. “Neat..!” he responded, while listening to the plan; the Earth Slayer was going to do his goody, little thing with rocks as Imai saved time by beating up those before them. “A piece of cake!” he proclaimed with a grin on his face. If it was about survival, then Imai’s blood longed for a battle.

Enemies flowed out from the opening as the wall fell, while Itsu engaged the first attack. The blast weakened their balance as well as health, while Imai prepared a spell of his… or, in fact, what about testing out the bey? Grabbing the launcher and bey, he prepared his very new companion to be sent off towards the wave. “Launch!” he roared as the metal spin cut several enemies in one strike, “Don’t waver! Just keep advancing forward!” The extremely dangerous toy did as commanded and broke a path through the group of knights, destroying small parts of their armors as well. Some of them dared stepping on the bey, but their footwear suffered a terrible fate because of those ignorant decisions. “Just hurry, Mashyuu-bro..!” Imai spoke to the God Eater, while that haired bastard was eating the floor up as if it was a buffet. His bey met sufficient challenges with the iron boots and armors from the knights, but perhaps he had to step up his game.

He couldn’t blast off the small room, so he suddenly balanced the spinning toy on his index finger on his right hand, slowly moving it around in a circle around him. Meanwhile, a yellow flash track was left behind its movement, soon to form a wide ring of bright light. “This attack will give you enough time, big bro!” he warned, before sending off the ring of light, “Galactic Donut!!!” The ring’s job was to trap the small group, while it shrank in wideness due to Imai’s hand movements. He was practically pressing them against each other, bending iron and most likely bones as well. He began sweating a little, but as he reached his limit, the floor sent the mages down into a pitch filled with shadows…

Mashyuu and the others fell to the ground and landed hard on a cold stone floor. The Wizard looked up and could hear more men coming. He reached his hands up and pulled them together and closed the seal up above them, blocking the fighters off from reaching Mashyuu and Imai. The young boy had managed to keep them off Mashyuu long enough for the team to make it to the basement level of the apparent dungeon without any issues. The Earth God could tell it was dark based on how the others were looking around and he chuckled for a moment. He focused on his Light Dragon Slayer powers and flared with a bright white light like an angel chasing away a demon. His body lit up brighter than any torch and lit up the room. They were in the mess hall, easily fifty men were in the room, some in armor others in robes with lethal looking daggers. Mashyuu shuddered with concern while rows and rows of people at tables stood up and pulled their weapons. "Ah hell..." Mashyuu swore under his breath while drawing his blade. He swung in through the air once and it burst to life, glowing with a bright yellow light. He already knew he was going to get hurt so focused on himself for a moment and screamed. "AHHHHHHH!" His body exploded once, the light that was waving off his body became golden, changing the color of his hair and flowing off him in thick waves while he narrowed his glowing blue eyes and watched the men all draw closer on them.

"Well if there was ever a time to summon these guys... Hewy, Dewy, Luey! Rise from your graves and defend me. Be careful and use defensive tactics!" Itsu cried out while holding her dagger out in front of herself. The blade lit up, glowing red and three skeletal Soldiers with massive great swords appeared standing before Itsu. The Sabertooth Wizards glanced back to Imai to make sure he was okay then went into a defensive stance as the team burst into action! "Imai, we need to get past these guys and to teh door in the end of the room! I can hear a girl fighting someone back there. I think someone else is getting eaten!" Mashyuu shouted as blades crashed together when Mashyuu blocked a strike while he drove his fist up as hard as he could into the jaw of a man and kicked his leg back into the knee of another. "Fuck this! Earth Gods Basilisk Wall!" Mashyuu shouted while flipping backwards and landing in the far corner of the room towards the way they fell from. His hand planted firmly on the ground and before him a massive stone wall jutted up and hit the roof above them, sealing Mashyuu and whoever managed to get behind him in. Four stone dog heads glared down at the soldiers and monks, turning all their feet to stone, holding them in place and set up a finishing blow for Imai to deliver.

The room below was totally dark for Imai’s eyes to even see his own hand in front of him. His bey soared through the hole that got sealed just right after that, landing on his readied palm that was going to grab it firmly. It stopped spinning, while the bluish energy from before faded away. The room was quite darkened now, but Mashyuu went into action as his skin literally began lighting up like a bulb. Imai held up his bey to reflect away the light that passed into his eyes. “I-I can’t see anything…” he mumbled a little due to the blinding light, but as his vision faded back to normal, they all appeared to stand in the middle of a gang. Oh, hell no…, he thought quickly, deciding to ready Pegasus again, “It looks like that we’re not invited to the beer guild down here, huh?”

Jumping over Mashyuu’s shoulder, Imai launched Pegasus right at the hoards, tripping their feet over as Mashyuu came in with uppercuts and blade-clashes. Itsu appeared to do something very interesting as well; her earlier dagger glowed bloody red and as his eyes were focused on that, three figures arose with giant weapons and skeleton-like appearances. “Skeletons?!” he let out in amaze, his eyes glowing sparkly, “So you’re a necromancer! That’s so damn cool, Itsu..!” His hype would distract him a little, but Mashyuu’s warned of a girl fighting at another room nearby. They had to go over there, but that required clearing out the knights. Normally, Imai would just rush in there and make it a lot easier for Mashyuu and Itsu, but a large wall of stone was arisen from the ground by Mashyuu’s Earth God Slayer Magic, in which they cut the space between them. Imai quickly ran towards the other side, spotting that four heads of stone dogs looked at the now frozen warriors. That was his chance!

His Pegasus had been waiting for something to do as their feet froze themselves, but now that Imai called for it, the bey was ready to synchronize with his next attack… oh, but given by the room’s size, it wouldn’t be preferable. Imai had to use another strategy. Bro froze them just for me… I have to think quicker!, he complained inside his mind. That was when he remembered his telescope; picking it, he would swiftly launch over a thousand hits with its edge, knocking the knights around like an arcade. “Take this, and this, and this, and this, and..!” he let out fiercely. That would last until he reached the door where the girl’s voice came from. “Okay, I made some space! You can-“ he was about to speak up. Sei suddenly pushed him to the side from behind, letting him dodge a light sword that came spearing through the door. In the blink of an eye, the door got cut away, and what was behind it was the armored girl whose voice was most likely heard from before. Her Valkyrian Armor had blood on it, and the scene behind her looked grotesque…

Mashyuu had frozen the knights and cultists to the ground with his Basilisk Wall spell, allowing Imai to jump up and make a flurry of attacks with his telescope until everyone in the room was out cold and slumped over in their stone binds. Imai made his way to the door and started to open it when the creature that normally hung out on his back pushed the young Star Wizard aside and saved him from a sword of light that rocketed through the door way. Mashyuu jumped over his wall, flipped through the air and slammed his sword into the blade of light, knocking it backwards towards the door way where a woman in plate and chain mail caught her sword and glanced at the Sabertooth Wizards. Behind her a woman laid in the corner with the same face as the woman standing before her. Mashyuu walked up to Imai and stood to keep the woman from attacking. He looked her up and down while Itsu and her skeletons made sure that Imai was fine. "Man, I have always wanted to fight someone else who used a sword of light like mine. It really helps that you're cute too. Tell ya what. If I beat you, you go on a date with me and my girl. She's gonna like you." Mashyuu glanced over his shoulder at Imai while pointing his blade at the Valkyrie. "There are others in that room. Imai, Itsu, you two go ahead and handle the others, this cutie is mine." Itsu nodded to Mashyuu then glanced at Imai. "Okay Skeletal Soldiers you heard the general. Lets move!" She shouted and rushed past the woman with the false face while the skeletal soldiers followed behind with luck trailed by Imai.

"You insult me Wizard, now I will make sure you don't insult anyone else when I remove your head." The woman, Isabella, announced. She flipped her blade of light around in the air and charged into the room, slamming her sword into Mashyuu's Excalibur, barely holding his own against the strike. Still he gave up ground, if for no other reason then to draw the woman away from his friends who needed to progress through the area. Mashyuu gritted his sharp teeth together and snarled. Isabella and Mashyuu were locked, blade against blade with neither fighter able to push the other back. Using a spell, Isabella waved her left and and a set of chairs from the mess hall floated up and launched at Mashyuu's flank. Mashyuu winced and focused on his own body, sand started to flow out of his back and swarm at his side. "Secret Art: Earth Gods Intercepting Sand!" The sand that flowed from Mashyuu's back moved in front of the chairs, batting them aside like they were little more than a few light sticks. "Earth Gods Extension!" Mashyuu shouted and swept his leg. The ground under Isabella rolled, and tossed the beauty to the side, sending her crashing to her back from the force of the blow as Mashyuu's blade crashed down into her armor, sending sparks of light through the room. Isabella grunted from the pain that ran through her but luckily her armor saved her from what would have been a killing blow. For whatever reason, Mashyuu wasn't playing around with the fight.

Bending his knees, Mashyuu jumped to the right, rolled into a ball and flipped twice then sprang off a near by wall and launched himself at Isabella while she managed to find her footing and raised her weapon. She lifted her blade high and slashed it down to try and catch Mashyuu's skull. The dual Slayer twisted in the air and opened his mouth, catching the blade and eating the glowing light as he rocketed past Isabella. He crashed to the ground and slid into a table to stop himself. Isabella looked at the weapon that now had no blade then back to Mashyuu with shock in her face. "No! You're a God Slayer of Earth! Not a Dragon Slayer of Light!" While she shouted, Mashyuu sat up and dusted himself off, his magical power now flowing off him in heavy waves of light thanks to the power boost that her blade gave him. "Oh, nobody told you? I'm a dual Slayer and you lost this battle the moment you attacked my little brother from behind a door like a cheat. Now, Let me show you one of my favorite spells. Light Dragons Domain: Transition." Mashyuu called out while his body started to flow with golden light. In an instant Mashyuu vanished and in his place was a chair that had been resting next to the woman a mere second ago. "Earth Gods Molten Blast!" He shouted while slamming a fist down to the ground at her side. A wave of super heated stone shot up and rolled over to the woman. Mashyuu kicked his leg out just to keep her from moving away as the lava melted away her armor in an instant. "Transition!" He shouted, flipping the two around in a single moment so that the woman who was just burned was now on her knee, the same way Mashyuu was. In her place Mashyuu was standing with his blade high over head. "Kings Cleave!" Mashyuu shouted and brought his blade down as it exploded with energy and sent the woman soaring into the wall behind her. Stunned and dazed from the flurry of strikes she wasn't aware that Mashyuu was rocketing at the woman with his blade placed in the scabbard. "It's over. Single Blade Style: Shishi Sonson!" He put all his strength into a single strike, drawing his blade partially, while slashing the fake Isabella's side, drawing a wave of blood that wouldn't kill her but leave her un-moving until the Rune Knights could collect her. He stopped at the wall and slid the exposed part of his blade back into the scabbard. As it locked into place the woman cried out and dropped face first to the ground. Mashyuu ran his hand over his forehead and glanced to the door. "Okay guys, it's up to you now." Mashyuu said and started to check on the real Isabella to make sure she was alive...

The Olympians in: Of Lords and Imposters! Empty Re: The Olympians in: Of Lords and Imposters!

    Post by Imai-chi 31st March 2017, 12:50 pm

The intruder with the Valkyrian armor was quickly overtaken by Mashyuu’s entry as they quickly went into combat. Mashyuu sounded to be eager for a battle with her, but what he challenged triggered Imai a little. “H-Hey, I bet your ’girl’ won’t like anything from that maniac!” he complained with both hands clenched and pointed down in protest. He was soon listening again to the fact that other knights were in the room from which the lady emerged. Apparently, Mashyuu would let Imai and Itsu take care of them, leaving this particular knight to him. That sounded more dangerous than at first thought; one knight for the Dragon God of Terra, and ‘others’ for Imai and Itsu. Well, they were two, so they had an upper hand in the end. No, they were three; his beloved companion, Sei, was always by his side… wait, in reality, they were four if one didn’t forget his ‘toy’ which had its own life. Taking a quick look at it, he smiled confidently and rushed to trail Itsu and her Skeletal Soldiers. “Alright, count on us, big bro..!” were his last words in that room, until he entered the next right behind Itsu’s back…

The next room looked larger than the previous one. Stone walls, stone floor, and pretty much everything was made of hard, grey stone. Even the pillar at the middle, in which Imai spotted a figure bound to it. “!” He slowly but advancing made his way towards what looked to be a dwarf tied to the pillar, having lashes all over his body, “What happened to you, old man?!” He suddenly kneeled and grabbed the ties to free the poor guy, but to his surprise, even they were made of stone. That seriously confused Imai a lot, since the term stone ties didn’t really ring any bells, nor did it sound normal. “Uhh…” he panicked a little as he simply touched the stone ties, “How am I going to untie him now… perhaps if I just break-“ His words were cut by a sudden footstep that made it into the room. Quickly, Imai’s face was pointed towards another dwarf with the exact same face as the previous one. Long beard that reached down to his belly, just like the one who was tied. Although, this other dwarf wielded stone armor and two stone weapons, one being a large-ass hammer. Imai’s jaw almost dropped by the difference in size between the dwarf stoner and the hammer. Stone armor…, the star mage thought, in which his gaze turned a little more intimidating, “So you’re just a faker, huh? You should try and be more versatile with your materials.” He slowly lifted up on his feet again, looking straight into the dwarf’s lower eyes. He slowly put on his bey into the launcher, in which the dwarf hissed. “As if..!” the little knight spoke, in which he quickly advanced towards Imai with the large hammer hauling at the star mage and Itsu at the same time. It had the areal to do so, if they would let him hit them.

A hand was suddenly lifting Imai’s up as a kind of way to try and block the hammer. At first, Imai was extremely shocked that he didn’t dodge, but turning his face to the left, an old, taller male looked down at him. A small smile appeared on that man’s face, while Imai was as confused as ever. However, turning his face back at the battle, the hammer was absorbed by his black hole that just appeared out of nowhere. The black hole from his spell quickly tried to pull in the dwarf warrior as well, but the small opponent was smart enough to let go of his beloved hammer and watch it getting sucked in. “M-My hammer!!!” he roared in extreme fury, “How dare you take away my weapon?! I’ll crush you all..!!!” In no time, a smaller axe was equipped, while Imai finally unleashed his Pegasus. Spinning towards the dwarf warrior, it suddenly circulated him and began building up speed. Even Imai had to cover his face with an arm for a short while as a bluish flame trailed the bey. “It’s getting faster and faster… what’s going on?!” he spoke up in curiosity. Although, a hand was laid upon his shoulder by the same old man from before, prompting Imai to ask: “Okay, who the hell are you?! And how did you make me do a spell without me even noticing?! And why aren’t Itsu noticing your presence-“

“I’ll answer your questions another day. Now, finish your battle before the table is turned.”

That was the old man’s only words, and Imai had to think for a few seconds before nodding softly. Then, he turned to Itsu and her two skeletons, saying: “Can you unleash your strongest long-range attack at him? We might be able to completely blast off his armor and all..!” With that said, he prepared by lifting up his hand, causing the room’s ceiling to break off like an egg’s scales. The bluish gust turned into a tornado, but the distracted dwarf began looking up at the clear sky that lit up the room, noticing nothing other than a minor meteor approaching. He couldn’t flee through the gust, and had to meet his fate with a loud BANG!

The room was quite heavily damaged now, but Imai and Itsu were safe. A huge crater was made in the hall, while the sky brightened everything. Imai felt like that he used some big spell there, feeling a little exhausted… rather, very exhausted. However, there was still a door left unharmed for some reason.

Post by redheadedstepchild 1st April 2017, 5:42 pm

Imai made his way to help a man tied to a pillar and Itsu and the skeletons headed towards the sound of battle where two preteen girls were battling, both looked the same and were throwing balls of magical energy at one another until the skeletons came into view. Like mirror images both girls jumped to face Itsu and the Skeletons and hurled a ball of magical power at them. One ball, from the left swerved away from everyone while the one at the right hit Luey, causing him to explode from the torrent of Magical power that surged through him. "YOU! GET BACK!" Itsu shouted to the girl at her left while she charged the one that had hit Hewy with a blast and destroyed him. "Phantom Speed!" Itsu shouted while she compressed her own magical power in on herself. Suddenly she vanished and appeared next to the preteen, then vanished again, only to appear behind her. Itsu kept this tactic up for what seemed like minute then appeared in front of the confused girl and smashed her fist into the fake preteens face as hard as she could. The blow sent the girl reeling back in pain while holding her nose. Blood streaked through the air as the preteen's head snapped back from the sudden pain that ran through her face. As she stumbled backwards Itsu tossed her dagger forward from her palm and used it as a hook, letting the cable wrap around the girls wrist. Itsu tugged hard at the cord and pulled the preteen back towards the Sabertooth Wizard. As the girl stumbled forward, Itsu teleported again, Hewy and Dewy both swept in, one high and one low. Their great swords cut through the air and clipped into the girls arm and leg, cutting her deeply without severing a limb, even they knew that Itsu wasn't out to kill. Instead they were aiming to make deep but mostly harmless cuts to wear the girl down for a finishing blow. The girl stumbled past the skeletons and went wide eyed when she felt a foot slam straight into her back, driving the air from her lungs while cracking the bone of her spine. The girl rolled forward and twisted to face the group, her hand pulled back as she shouted. "Thunder Fire!" She extended her hand out and let an orb of fire smash into Itsu, burning her before it detonated into a charge of electricity and dropped her down to her knees, smoke rising from her blackened body. Itsu's mouth hung open as she tried to figure out how the hell she could beat someone who's magic was so strong. Was Itsu strong enough to defeat this foe alone? She had been able to deal with most things that came her way but doubted she could beat someone who's magic was not only two elements but so strong it could drop her in a single strike. Itsu started to pass out and fall backwards when large hands caught her back and head and gently lowered her to the ground. "Ya did good, let me take things from here Itsu." Mashyuu said while he set her down and stood up to face the preteen. As Itsu passed out the skeletons faded away a result of the magical bond breaking.

Mashyuu stood, his body bruised from the battles before but mostly unharmed thanks to having the edge against Isabella. He had passed the other girl, the real one on the way to Itsu's aid. His fists clenched at his side while his upper lip snarled. "I'm gonna take you down before you ever get the chance to throw a spell at me." He warned the girl then exploded into sand. The girl took a step back and started to charge up another orb when Mashyuu's sand collected above her and he started to fall. "Earth Gods Extension!" He called out and swept his leg, causing the ground under the girl to roll, and trip her. As she landed on her back his knees dug deep into her gut, driving the air from her body. Mashyuu rolled forward and sprang up on his heels, jumping forward only to flip in the air and catch himself on his left hand. As his hand touched down he called out. "Earth Gods Combo: Part One!" The girl started to jump, to avoid but when three pillars came at you from three different directions it was hard to avoid. The three stone pillars smashed the preteen enough to throw her off balance. She flipped through the air and landed on the ground only to have it split under her. "Earth God's Combo: Part Two!" Mashyuu called out as the ground swallowed the girl up. He lowered himself from his hand stand and pulled his right arm back. Sand exploded from his forearm and formed a large scythe like blade on his arm as he took aim. As the ground stopped crushing the girl and pushed her up Mashyuu darted forward while swinging his arm. "Earth Gods Combo: Part Three!" His arm slashed across the girl, cutting her and draining the moisture in her body, knocking her out before the ground ever finished spitting her up...

The Olympians in: Of Lords and Imposters! Empty Re: The Olympians in: Of Lords and Imposters!

    Post by Imai-chi 8th April 2017, 6:09 am

Imai slowly limped towards the door, having released the poor, old man on his left shoulder. Given by the battle cries, another battle was burning at the other side of the doorway. “I-Itsu’s in trouble…” he mumbled to himself and to Sei who rested on his back. He could clearly feel the change in magic prowess over there. Someone were getting the upper hand, while Itsu’s magic power decreased. Despite his condition, he had to join her and aid with what he got left. However, it was difficult with the old, passed out male on his shoulder, in which he quickly looked for a safe place to put him at. Before he got to find that specific area, Mashyuu passed him and moved towards Itsu, revealing his back filled with cuts from the earlier battle. “Rock..?” he stammered a little, “… hey, wait for me!!” He began halting a little faster towards Mashyuu and Itsu’s battle, feeling his fighting lust give him new strength and ignoring the pain from earlier. He even ignored putting the man down again.

As he entered, the two opponents appeared to be girls around his age or smaller. However, at first sight, they both appeared to be enemies of the gang, until the very same figure showed up beside Imai. The other, old man laid a hand on Imai’s shoulder and pointed towards one of the two girls, whispering something. The red-haired mage caught the message quickly and called: “Mashyuu! One of them is actually the real deal! Don’t hurt her too much..!” With his right hand, he pointed towards the one girl that was the original victim of this doppelganger massacre; unlike the two other hostages, this one was under some kind of illusion. She wasn’t tied up or anything, but even moved around and ‘assumed’ to fight the Saber Cats. However, thanks to that strange spirit from earlier, Imai could clearly distinguish the real one from the fake by the look at their magical structures.

Luckily, Mashyuu was attacking the exact target that Imai pointed at; to his great luck, the enemy’s confusing tactics weren’t to her luck today. When Mashyuu finished her with quite the combo of a true Dragon God, Imai rushed over to the real girl. She had clearly fainted from getting free of the bind, in which Imai also tried to lift her up along with the old Frank guy. “Hnnnggg…!” he hummed in struggle as the two of them were quite the deal to lift for such a small build that he had. He wasn’t a mountain nor a gorilla, anyways…
