    ”Killer is Dead”

    **The brisk air of the night rushed past Richard as he sat on the highest branch of a tree in the East Forest just outside of Magnolia. Even though the gust was minimal, the sound still pierced through the almost perfect silence. His face underneath his mask was as emotionless as ever. Richard had just taken a contract to assassinate a man that was cheating on his wife. The contract stated that the man would walk through the forest almost every night. It was like any other job he had ever taken... Straightforward and far to easy. But this was his favorite part of a job. The wait. It was so stimulating to wait for his target to arrive, when he has no idea of his fate that is to come. Richard continued to sit motionless in the tree, as to not make a sound that would alert his target, when he heard a noise very close by and tensed up. Someone was approaching.**

    It was a pretty quiet night. Though, what could one expect from a forest? Sure, it was next to a rather large town, but who would be out in a dark forest at this time of night? Well, one person would be a rather laid back Great Tree Mage that tends to lurk in trees and tonight was one of those nights that he wanted some great rest. The East Forest near Magnolia was perfect! Especially after a day of trying to get some pretty woman to give him a smile.

    It was close to 10 P.M. when he had entered a tree along a small path the Magnolian citizens use. It wasn't heavily populated during the day, but it seemed to be the main one when passing through the area. While he was sleeping inside the tree, he could feel someone on one of the branches. He waited, figuring it was a bird or some critter, but after an hour or so, it was clear it had no intentions on moving. So, in efforts to get a less weighted sleep, he decided to unmerge slighting, just so his face took a bit of shape in the wood, to see who it was.

    There was a man silently sitting on a branch that was kind of high up from the ground. Just waiting there like some weirdo. From what Jaeger could see, some sort of black and white based armor. Who was this weirdo?

    "Hey.. it's quite late and I am trying to get some sleep."

    **Richard tensed up when he felt movement nearby. After a moment of waiting and no further sounds being heard, he realized that the movement was at the base of the tree. He looked down from his delicate perch on the branch and noticed what looked like the face of a man within the tree. The face spoke from the tree and stated that he was attempting to get some rest. The implication there was that Richard was obstructing that wish, and that he should leave. Richard elegantly leaped down from the branch with his quiver of blades over his shoulder moving a bit. he drew one of his dozens of blade and pointed the tip straight at this man. This could not have been his target, Richard figured. The contract he had received had explicitly stated that the target was not a mage. Richard asked, "Who are you? You arent my target and i was told that noone stalked these woods at this time of night besides the man who is my target."**

    The man quickly got down from the branch that he was on with no fuse. So far so good, at least he wasn't arguing that fact he had to get down. Soon after landing, he spun himself around and aimed a sword at the Great Tree Mage. The unknown man mentioned a target and no one coming around these woods at this time of night. Technically, Jaeger wasn't stalking, he was trying to sleep. And The mage wanted to point that out. To do so, He unmerged from the tree and was now standing on the branch before him.

    "Firstly.... I wasn't stalking the forest. I was sleeping in a tree until some unknown weight was on one of the branches for a while."

    He said, covered his mouth, and yawned.

    "Next, what do you mean 'Target'?"

    Jaeger questioned with another yawn.

    "Lastly... My name is Jaeger. Now, Who might you be, Mister Knight?"

    He questioned again. Obviously the guy was weird, stalking the woods at night for targets. Was he up to no good? IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD?!? Not really a neighborhood, just an area. However, it was odd that he'd be in the same spot for a couple hours, very little to no movement, waiting for someone to come by.
