Kiersa sat at the desk she'd managed to procure, several tomes and scrolls littered across it as she poured through them. Their contents ranged from things such as the Celestial Spirits, ancient battle reports from long gone wars, agriculture, and union rituals. The last one was what she currently had her nose stuck in, given that the blonde nun had a sneaking suspicion that such an event was close to coming by... and she wanted to be ready just in case.
She'd even brought out one of the few tomes that she'd managed to recover from her old convent and was running comparitive notes between it and this generalised tome of marriage ceremonies. Kiersa wasn't certain what kind of ceremony would be appropriate, especially given their differing faiths or lack thereof, but she would do her best to be as prepared as she possibly could. The thought that she may need to create an entirely new ceremony for this did cross her mind more than once, and each time it did it gave her a tremendous headache.
Kiersa had never once performed such a ceremony and given whom she suspected to be close to performing the nuptials, she really did not want anything to go wrong. Thankfully the library in the guild was somewhere she could find some genuine peace and quiet to herself. Her own chambers had had to be extended slightly to include an office for guild members coming to her for advice or job offerings, or to hand in paperwork... dear Maker the paperwork... and so the solitude the library offered seemed the ideal location to get some good research time done.
