Lexa felt unhappy still, feeling quite unsettled that her big sister couldn't hear her. Lexa detested those moments where the people she liked were unable to have fun with her. She slowly drew her weapon as the anger began to fill her mind her magic circuits, markings on everything below the neck that look like a circuit board, began glowing pure black. Several sparks of dark, electricity like energy began sparking through the circuits originating from her core and sparking down her arms along the circuits. She gripped the blade tightly as she entered the field of magic negation. Lexa's magic circuits were a work of technological ingenuity, on top of it being stronger than Kuro's barrier, the two combined left the volatile girl unaffected as she walked through it. The dark electricity-like energy continued firing down Lexa's arm, leaking into her blade and continuing to the tip of the ornate weapon as she stepped towards the wardrobe, letting Seikatsu take care of the tiger. "You attacked Nee-san... I'll destroy you..." she said in an angry, hushed voice while looking directly forwards at the enemy. She kneeled down and placed her hand on the floor, removing it to reveal a black pillar rising from the ground. The blade began glowing bright gold, showing off its most holiest aspect as she began charging.

Lexa placed the blade in a striking position, causing it to glow further as the black energy sparked around it. Her eyes shimmered bright blue, looking confident and angry as she got closer to her target. Lexa made a slash at the disoriented target, the condition courtesy of Kuro's crystals, causing a golden light to fly from the weapon as Lexa disappeared. She reappeared behind the wardrobe with the light still exiting her weapon and disappeared a second time as a shadow, reappearing a second time inside the wardobe. A shirt was about to fly out, and Lexa vanished a third time, reappearing with the glowing weapon inside the wardrobe's back. The single Angelic Strike, through a combination of excessively fast teleportations became four attacks instead of just one. Lexa kicked off the wardrobe, which due to being an object and not a person, was still kicking but just barely. She took a few jumps backwards, moving closer to Kuro with each small step and landing in front her with her sword drawn. She refused to leave Kuro open to attack again.

I AM NOT A BAD KING

even though i do bad things

    VERY BAD THINGS

    such horrible things

With a flash of gold, a brilliant color that was associated with Gil and his magic, the beast had appeared in front of him. White leathery skin, poison tipped fangs, and wings fanning out in an aggressive manner. It was his Wyvern and it was without a doubt it was one of his favorite and most powerful summons. His first instinct had been to send the beast upon the quiet girl but karma had already came to her in the form of an oversized, moving wardrobe. He bit back a snarky laugh watching for a moment as the female mage flailed and the other blonde had to come to her rescue. Lexa's magic was strange, something he had never seen before and she was certainly strong enough to hold even his attention for some time. "I suppose I shall save the commoners in distress." He shoved his hands in his pockets, "Attack." The winged creature darted forward, claws and teeth latching onto the wood of the wardrobe, tearing gouges in it.

Gil was hardly interested in watching his Wyvern tear out chunks of wood, and instead hid crimson gaze fell upon Seikatsu and the tiger in which he was combating. The feline was far more suited to Gil's animal oriented abilities enough so that he was almost tempted to try and command the beast. However, the combat was within that aggravating negation field preventing Gil from entering it. Instead Gil stood back, far outside of combat as per his usual routine, and contemplated whether or not his Wyvern's poison would effect even a moving wardrobe.

The battle with the wardrobe ended abruptly, leaving the spotlight on Niyol who's blade just seemingly disintegrated upon tapping the Tiger's nose. He spread his arms apart, opening each hand with the palms to the earth as if commanding an orchestra. "Stand..." he said with a level voice. At that moment, twelve, pure white cylindrical pillars rose from the ground, rising to an impressive 15 meters high, easily towering 13 meters above Niyol and casting even longer shadows. Arranged as though it were the markings on a clock, the pillars seemed to have weight with the Tiger, as even though its mind was numb, its instincts told it that it had chosen the wrong opponent. "... and Dance, Tamashī Reitōko." he said with a soft voice, conveying no true enjoyment in killing the tiger. The pillars began to turn into a very fine powder, quickly doing so by having the particles at the top spiral off and have the pillars become short and shorter. The tiger began backing away, its animal instincts knew of the twelve blades of creation and told it to escape, but it was too late. Niyol took a single step forward, making a punching motion with his hands which was followed by an immense storm of white powder flashing past him. The blades encircled Raj the Tiger, forming a sphere around the beast. He shifted stances, placing his hands as if they were touching an orb at the tops, and began moving in as if the orb were getting smaller. Upon doing so, the sphere around the tiger shrank, and continued shrinking until the sphere bled. Niyol walked forwards, placing his hand outward to the bloody ball. A blue mist came from it, entering his body and became absorbed into the man, signaling he'd consumed Raj's soul entirely. He held out his hand as though a blade were already there, and began the motion for flicking it. When the motion was finished, the pelt of Raj the Tiger lay on the floor, bloody and severely cut up with its contents reduced to liquid from the high pressure. In Niyol's hand, was the pure white Katana, known only by the name Tamashī Reitōko... "Your soul is mine to do with what I will. However, be assured I shall do nothing short of deposit you to the netherworld..." he sad softly, almost lovingly while staring at the remains. He began walking towards the group with his blade still shown, but it was pointed to the ground instead of at them. He walked past the ground and stood in front their contractor, who had tears streaming down her face. "This task is complete. There was no saving your tiger, your own foolishness is what dwindled it to this level. In death, Raj will be at peace. For now, you promised something to those who aided you, fulfill this promise and then take time to grieve as you perfect that spell." he said looking at the elf, who was no longer bubbly. The elf woman dropped to the ground as a symphony of pain overcame her, causing her to cry beautifully before the truth Niyol had presented.

She reached a hand out as if that might stop the blonde girl from rushing into the barrier, and attacking the wardrobe. She wasn't sure what brought on this sudden aggressive behavior but at the least Lexa appeared to be able to hold her own against the wardrobe. It wasn't until Lexa had landed in front of her that Kuro realized just what it was that brought on her sudden change in attitude. "She's trying to protect me?" It was a rather foreign feeling, and it left a pit in her stomach. That was wrong, she was the one who was supposed to protect Lexa, to protect the public in general not the other way around. Not to mention Kuro couldn't quite figure out as to why Lexa was attached enough to her to combat the wardrobe almost on her own? Had the girl lost an elder sibling before or did Kuro merely resemble someone that she once knew?

A sudden roar snapped Kuro out of her attention as a bone white creature, startling in appearance had latched onto the wardrobe. It's claws and teeth tore chunks of wood out. Kuro had thought that perhaps that creature was another one of the magical mishaps of Hilda's but one glance at the smug blonde pushed that idea away. "He thinks he's all that just cause he can-" She had turned her blue eyes towards the tiger and Niyol only to see a bloody mess, and a crying elf. Diminishing her barrier Kuro rushed towards both Niyol and the elf woman tossing herself between them. "GO." She grit her teeth, a glare falling upon her visage all too easily. She had suspected him from the start but killing the woman's tiger was simply too much, she'd be hearing about this later from the higher ups in the Rune Knights for sure. Turning her cold stare away from Niyol, her blue eyes softened trying to figure out how to comfort the sobbing elf witch.

Lexa saw as the wardrobe was ripped apart, and then saw the tiger killed in one shot by the tall shirtless man. She walked inside the witch's house and saw a book sitting atop a table opened to a spell that looked like it was what she was doing. Lexa placed a sheet of paper on the page, closed the book and took it with her, also picking up one of the pieces of wood from the wardrobe. She passed by Gil and teased him saying "You really should keep your lizard on a leash, Nii-san." with a childish voice, knowing the comment would get on his nerves. Lexa walked to the woman just after Kuro yelled at the shirtless mage, and threw the book down, kicking it open to the marked page. "Is that the spell you tried using?" she said with a soft voice as she began writing on the piece of wood in the same method she wrote on the paper from before. The woman nodded, clutching the ground after she spotted the warning at the bottom of the page that was written in bold, underlined, italicized letters. Lexa shoved the piece of wood into Kuro's stomach and picked the book up. The wood said

'Don't you dare be mad at big brother, he did the right thing. The spell she used was part of a non-forbidden dark magic spell published BY the Magic Council. It's called 'Command Object' and does exactly what it implies. He killed Raj quickly, and painlessly. Far better than what any of us could have done! If we would have captured that tiger it would suffer in a jail-cell for the rest of eternity. And if it got out of that cell, we would have to come all the way back to do exactly what he did, put it down. According to this book, he did YOUR job.'

She then pointed at the warning on the spell in the book that read 'Warning: Do not use this on living beings, attempting to do so results in irreversible chronic hysteria, immortality, increased violence, and immense anger towards others. If used on a living creature, please contact your local Rune Knight base to either incarcerate, or put down the effected being.'

His wyvern had practically torn the wardrobe to pieces until finally there was nothing left to tear apart. The scaled white creature gnawed one one of the large chunks of wood, much like how a dog might gnaw on its favorite bone. It would have remained there for sometime but its master had sent it away seeing no reason to waste anymore of his precious energy on a battle that was over. "Hmph." He cast a glance towards what was left of the tiger, he had hoped to possibly take the creature for his own replacing his own tiger with this much large and much stronger beast. Yet Niyol had killed the thing without a moments hesitation once more proving his strength to Gil. "A worthy opponent, one worthy of my attention." Truth be told all of them were worthy of his attention in one way or another. Lexa with her curious magic, the quiet girl with the ability to stop magic, and of course Niyol's general strength. He blatantly ignored the little girl's comment on his so called "lizard" and instead proceeded on towards the home to take his reward himself,

"Well, I see no further reason for me to be here."

His voice cut through the air, sending an annoyed glance at the elven woman her incessant crying. The sound of others crying was an unpleasant one to him, especially if he himself was not the cause of the tears. The quiet girl had finally spoken, more of a shout than an uttering of words, apparently she was dissatisfied with how Niyol had handled the tiger, "Oh my how interesting." It was only half a lie, upon occasion even squabbles between commoners could prove to be entertaining to the likes of Gil. Yet with a broom, fire word as he looked at it, and a book in hand Gil was through with the place, he had yet to even deem the reward worthy of his time. There was no doubt that he'd end up using both of the items as kindling wood. With only a wave of a hand that seemed more like a dismissal the blonde stalked off with a sort of swagger that only he could have.

Niyol heard the yelling at him, though still a bit muffly coming from the girl whom he had no clue was deaf. He didn't feel like wasting air on her, and couldn't help but notice the text in the book Lexa showed her, and how she said it was Kuro's task to kill it. "Move pawn." he said to Kuro, gently nudging her aside as he kneeled down to the crying woman. "Madam, what would you do to spend but a few moments with your tiger? Would you sell your soul, your purity, your life, and all you own for just five mere minutes?" he asked in a soft voice. The question wasn't the price of his service, merely a test of how much she cared for the tiger. Niyol had no intention of taking anything more from the woman than she'd already agreed to in the job. She looked at him, eyes filled with hope at the question. "A-anything..." she said hesitantly through the tears with a crackly voice. She grabbed Niyol by the shoulders, her eyes open as she shouted "I-I'll give you anything! My purity, m-my home... I-I'd even forfeit my magic..." her voice became softer for the last offering to Niyol. He gently removed her hands from his shoulder, and then placed one hand to the ground. The demonic scars on his body began to glow black with dark blue, and crimson accents. "I, Niyol... Chief of the second tribe of creation, and the one who guards all souls calls upon a recently felled being. Send me the tiger by the human name of Raj, and bend him to my will." he said calmly. A magic circle appeared next to the group as the soul of Raj materialized before their eyes, though it wasn't attacking this time. "You have 5 minutes." Niyol said as he stepped back. He turned to the others, still unaware one of them were deaf. "I'd like to request we let them be. Our rewards shall not escape should we procrastinate slightly." he said. While he didn't know Kuro could read lips, the fact that he was looking directly at the group would put his lips within plain sight of her eyes should she decide to pay attention.

After about ten minutes, Niyol deciding to be nice and not bug her, Hilda walked up to the group with Raj. The large tiger walked up to Niyol, placing his massive paws on his chest and licking his cheek. Niyol didn't flinch, or even wince as if the tiger tried to pull something, he could force his will on the tiger. "I shall deposit your soul as soon as I return to my home." he said while gently rubbing the tiger's head. "Umm.. t-thank you." the witch said, still looking a bit sad. "Animals seldomly are punished in the netherworld. Beings with the ability of greater thinking, humans, dragons, demons, gods, wyverns... those are the ones that are judged. Be at peace, your tiger will be taken care of well." Niyol replied, giving Hilda some relief. She nodded and walked inside, passing out a book to each of the wizards, as well as a broom. Raj bowed to the group, disappearing back to the stream of life. "The-the books will help your magic. I-if you read them you'll be able to learn an extra spell equal to your power... Oh! T-those brooms were properly enchanted by my older sister. They'll take you back home much faster than the airship-"
Niyol had began walking away, deciding he'd linger in Seven a bit longer. What the other three did was of no concern to him, so he didn't bother to bid them adue.

Kuro caught the piece of wood with a slight, "Umpf!" before turning it over and examining the cursive like scrawl burned into it. She read over the lines quickly, her expression growing darker with each word. She had just finished reading both the writing on the wood and the line in the book when she was pushed to the side by the man who had killed the tiger. Something inside of the alchemist snapped, she wanted to scream but she was sure that her vocal chords would snap if she attempted to. All that she managed was stomping her foot into the ground, lacking the ability to explain herself to them, and cursing the curse that had been placed upon her. She'd have preferred the tiger in a jail cell rather than dead. Death was the easy way out and no living creature truly deserved it. Yet she couldn't explain this to them, she lacked the words or rather the ability to effectively utter them.

It was without a doubt that Kuro was one of the most ill-tempered Rune Knights. Her anger had a bad habit of flaring up with only a little provocation, and it was a complete pain to get her to calm down. Once, her irritation began every little thing was only adding fuel to the fire. Her hands clenched into fists as Niyol had brought back the tiger through means in which Kuro couldn't comprehend, even after all her training. A frown, and icy glare seemed to be permanently set upon her visage. There were too many people speaking at once for her to properly keep up with the conversation not that any of their words would have helped Kuro's current attitude. By now the arrogant blonde had stalked off with reward in hand. Despite their two different affiliations, the two had very similar tempers and even slight mannerisms. She had snagged a broom and book of her own after Niyol had departed, her expression showing that she no longer wanted to have any part of this operation. She at least managed to retain some composure when bidding adieu to their client, as always she appeared to be a chivalrous Rune Knight, until the elven woman wasn't looking. Departing without any farewell to Lexa, Niyol, or even the long gone Gil only one thought ran through her head,

    "I must become stronger."

Lexa felt a bit disheartened that her big sister was so angry, but she was smart enough to know some people are just like that. She was the last to obtain her reward, and the only one to properly say goodbye to the witch. She gave a courteous bow to the woman with the pointed hat, and turned around to face the direction of Black Rose. She looked at the broom she was handed, but didn't exactly feel like having another long flight back home so she decided to go ahead and activate her Dissipation Circuits. In a flash, Lexa had erupted into a bolt of pure light, blending in with the light from the sun and was able to move at the same speed. Withing a matter of seconds, more like one or two seconds, Lexa had reappeared at the guild hall. She looked at the large building, and then back at the direction she'd came from hoping her new friends would make it home safely. That included their arrogant blonde pretty friend with the pet lizard.

She found herself a place to sit, and began peacefully reading the book Hilda gave her. Taking in every word, Lexa found herself realizing she could learn an extra little trick to help her fight. With that knowledge, she want to go work on honing the new skill.
