Dim Lights[Raiza's Secondary Training/Private]

Strange, she thought the explosion didn't hit her because she had no scratch on her, but the moment her immortal curse regenerated some of her health, she knew that something had indeed hit her. It was the same force that she felt she sliced with her sword a few minutes ago. She also noticed the young man's aura seemed to have declined after that attack. Could it have been that he had exhausted most oh his magical energy or was it something else.

While she pondered those thoughts, Raiza began to speak, using terms she was not quite familiar with but knew she had heard before.

Where have I heard those term before...

And as Raiza rumbled on about being a top tier mage and explained how part of magic his works, Alleria was lost in her own thoughts.

It was a world where the divine, the mortal and the unholy live on the same planet but on different planes. There she bumped with Staz, a vampire overlord who renounced his birthright so he can live freely, for his dream is to go to the mortal plane and visit the country of Japan be cause he said it was the birthplace of Anime and Video games.

Oh right, video games.

She thought as she eyed Raiza funny. And it was a good thing that her flash back was over for at the exact time the young man said.

Now we can resume.

It was then that she felt a strange aura. She was confused because the magical signature was different but it was coming from Raiza. Then she noticed everything around him began to decay at a rapid rate. Was this pestilence, no it can't be, pestilence was capricious and revel in the long and agonizing demise of its victims. This however was swift and clean.

Like death.

Alleria skid back, making sure there was enough space between then. She then turned to her two summons and said.

Sorry guys, something came up.

Before any of them could object, she flicked her fingers and a puff of smoke wrapped around the two summons. Out of the smoke two men came out. One wore a black cape and the other wore a a black sutana.

Hmmm, you rarely summon me my love.

The caped one then looked over to the guy with the long braid.

You even called Father Weeps a Lot.

The long haired summon pointed his scythe at the caped crusader and said.

Hey I'd watch my tongue if were youz pretty boy or id hack it.

Enough!

Her loud stern voice was enough to rein them back. She then pointed at the young man before her and the shadowy figure behind him. The duo in a crestfallen voice simultaneously exclaimed.

No longer paying attention to the field as the very tips of his clothing seemed to be slowly decaying away as if the life span of even the material he had was slowly being eaten away at. His confused stare as he looked at his clothes. For the most part they stopped aging but by the time they did it had looked as if each piece of clothing he wore had gone through the metaphorical hell and back as they had aged each many years, obtaining holes in some parts, or simply a lot of frayed ends. His body seemed to shift just slightly as a ripple ran through him almost losing his grip on the weapon he held, showing how confused he was just to the new power, or at least it's slow progression on him.

Only forced back to acknowledge the presence of now two new top tier magic sources. Now before him was Alleria, along with what seemed like her best summons, or at least thats what Raiza assumed, as they both were of the highest magical energy he had sensed so far. Not to mention, taking note in exactly how low Alleria's was now. However what he didn't understand was the strange symbols above Alleria, slowly ticking every second, almost as it it was a clock ticking down her death clock. Though... the numbers were in such an ancient text he'd never be able to understand them obviously. That and it didn't tick down like a typical clock, it went up and down by the looks of it. No doubt changing based on the actions of the world.

Even his strange gaze towards Alleria showed that some of his secondary magical energy was taking form, and obviously it was highly untame at this point, but none the less it was there, had unlocked due to his sudden release of all his other magic. Even his gunblade started to shift slightly to a much more stranger energy. His magical energy was no longer any type, but rather just that. 'energy', as his body started to show it too. "I don't suppose you've encountered this type of magic before?" Asking innocently at this point not to start the fight back up, as it most likely was already almost over but now he had to try and understand while pulling at it. Even the energy was circling his body trying to tell it to feed into it, almost as if it was a takeover style magic, or at least most of it was.

Yes im aware who that is person is Lelouch, thank you very much. Snorted the boy clad in a priest's attire to the boy with the long flowing cape, then he grinned and waved at the invisible being behind the Raiza.

So what do we do now? Do we attack?

Both Alleria and Duo looked at Lelouch and simultaneously said no. Alleria was actually stumped, but at least it was clear now why she felt what she felt earlier. It was a form of dark magic, no this one bordered between light and darkness, it death magic, she had encountered people who drew power upon the grim reaper. Some used notebooks to predict ones death, others used the cursed hot line to send other to the underworld and some are made vessels by the reaper.

I don't suppose you've encountered this type of magic before?

I suppose that means were on time out.

Alleria made soft rising motion with her left hand causing the earth in front of her to rise up, the she walked right up to it and sat down on the mound of earth. Her two summons remained close by, their eyes fixed on the apparition and the red headed boy.

To answer your question, yes I had encountered magic like that before. The lich had it, I had it, im pretty sure the guildless scarred man had it too.It's called death magic because well it causes death whenever it is used. However...

Alleria paused, she wasnt so sure if she should mention it or not, but the only way she had it was because it was loaned to her by the lich, and the lich had received it from an artifact that belonged to the creature that hovered behind him.

Hey I have a question for you first, can you see that? She asked as she pointed her finger at the strange apparition behind Raiza.

It wasn't long till his eyes began to strain from the new death gaze he had to some how see new things. Though his aura began to diminish even slightly as if it burns a lot of magical energy. It was almost as if it forced him into a limit breaking state. His aura only began to fade before this but once it had burned through most of his primary magical pool, he would start to show that his aura was now completely filled with death, a reveal to one of his future spells no doubt, yet he had no clue to it.

"Death magic...could this be linked to him..." Raiza mumbled to himself, trying to grasp a few variables, he understood the magic a bit. He fought along side of one before. What had taken him by surprise though was not that his magic was death filled, but it was supposed to be his second magic style? He once ran into death, in fact he ran into azreal by the description. Though the truth of being a decedent of the god of death wasn't accurate either. Raiza knew just by studies, he was the decedent of the reaper that in the end reaps even the gods of death.  

What now pestered Raiza was the fact he had zoned out for even a split second, sweat dripped from his face as his skin began to turn into darker shades. "Wait.. I know this transformation, but how?! I didn't consume bl---" cutting himself short as he looked up towards Alleria. His once black sclera would be pure white, along with the rest of his eyes as if there was no color to his entire eye balls, just white. The rest of his body began to fade more black.

Wwhat Raiza didn't know was it wasn't the same form as he used back before death revealed his true lineage. Instead his form was changing based on his lineage. The transformation was almost complete but before it did, it would change back entirely, almost as if it purposely had used itself to further drain Raiza's magical pool to alleviate more death magic out.

Finally he was back onto his hands and knees sweat poured from his body as he began to feel limp from the sudden rush of lost magical energy. This was lost magic at it's work no doubt about that one. His head turned but what he saw was only a fragment of what Alleria could. At least right now. Sure he saw the magical presence of what was there. Anyone with magical energy could see something in a realm that affects their own. Though he couldn't see the entire image. A faded aura was all he saw, that and the death clock but once again, that was something he wasn't able to truly even read yet, possibly ever.

"B...barely ...ah my head" trying to respond but only to reveal a minor headache from all the turn of events, it was as if his own magical energy was attacking his body until it got used to the new magic. The aura began to feel more controlled as the plant life where Raiza stood stopped dying off. "ughh.. this feels like my body is being crushed by it's own magic right now..."

The trio watched as dark energy flowed from the dark entity to the young man who was writhing in pain. Alleria cringed a little, she knew that feeling that the young man was in now....receiving magic from a cosmic entity really hurts like a bitch.

Nostalgic aint it? said the long haired summon.

Of all her summons Duo was the one closest to the grim reaper since he was a vessel of the entity of death, well he is still a vessel but only part time since most of the time he uses his power to serve her mistress.

Whats nostalgic about that? He's basically just dying only to be reborn anew. grunted the caped one.

Well yeah but you don't see it everyday. Besides its nice to see it happen to somebody else other than me.

The trio continued to ogle the spectacle before them until they notice that the energy flow from the specter to the boy started to stabilize. The flora around him also stopped from wilting and withering. And the aura that cloaked the boy seemed to change its color.

Hey did it just turn darker or what?

It seems Raiza's new found magic had an effect on their general vicinity. The already dark skies seemed to grow darker as dark clouds hovered the entire island. Lost souls trapped in the island also started making themselves known, creating an eerie symphony of other worldly moans and shrieks.

Alleria turned her attention to her guild mate and asked "You ok now?"

OOC: turning off my stats since its not needed but ill be rping with Lelouch and Duo for a bit.

What had happened thus far internally was Raiza being crushed by his own death magic. The form he had taken even for a moment was only thanks to his lineage powers of the reaper. Though his form had reverted back to the normal human looking Raiza, something was still off. The environment began to stable back, the place remained dark as the clouds had stayed, but it did not get any worse. Another thing felt off about him, almost as if cursed, no... that wasn't the right word for it, was it?

His magic felt tamed again, but looking at Alleria with his all too familiar by now black scelara, and red pupils. His gaze would be piercing, almost as if looking past her clothes and skin, but seeing something else. What was also messing with him was the fact that he was seeing a multitude of numbers from the gaming H.U.D. It was as if the two magics were just now beginning to get along with each other to a small degree that actually allowed him to simultaneously use the two.

Still in a mild pain he could not explain, his words came out shuddering in such pain. Even a member of the screams unit was able to be in crippling pain at times. "y-yeah..." he whispered just loud enough for Alleria to barely hear him. His own knowledge of his new found magic was low but one thing was for sure. This little reaper, loved to play games, but as all lost magic, most have a reason it was lost in the first place.

"I dont think I can use this magic Alleria. Its a bit more than I thought it'd be. I had an idea of what it was, but the real deal of it is much more than anticipated" Trying to even grasp his own thoughts right now was a lot harder than he had originally anticipated. His mind was still foggy as hell, and moving his body felt like trying to move in black sludge half frozen.

"Sorry, we'll defiantly have to post-pone our fun we were having till later. It was a good test to see how we both worked alone. I'm sure we'll be strong together in the future. It'll sure be fun, don't you think?" A soft chuckle escaped his lips afterwords as he staggered to a standing position, his body looked severely bruised and beaten by his own magic. The clothes he wore were full of tears and holes from the decaying death magic that had damaged them.

The trio were still wary of the young man before them, he appeared to have reined in his newly acquired destructive powers but knowing that the grim reaper was involved, it was better to be safe than sorry. He was even talking to her casually like nothing happened, it was as if no primordial cosmic being had graced them with its presence.

The braided boy was the first to break the silence of team Alleria.

"Hey dude, are you ok? You don't look so good." the braided baka said.

And it was true, his normally pale skin was even paler than usual. Not to mention his clothes were torn and tattered. Alleria's face turned as red as a beat when her eyes wandered lower than they should have. Lelouch must have sensed her distressed and threw his cape at the almost naked man.

"Cover yourself up will you." he growled at Raiza.

The long haired one warped his arm around Lelouch's shoulder and said

"What my buddy here means is we should leave you here for a while while you change into something less revealing." Duo stressed the revealing part and f or extra measures winked.

As the three left the young man to change into something decent, Lelouch swatted at the arm resting upon his shoulders and said.

"Get your filthy hands off me you low life!"

He even stressed in the insult for good measure, but it seemed that the other was not bothered by idle insults, in fat he revealed in it and provoked the short tempered one even more.

"Oh thank you! It was so nice of you to notice!"

The two continued on with their bickering while Alleria remained silent, yes she did blushed at the fact that she almost saw something that she shouldn't have seen, but at that close proximity she sensed something really odd about Raiza's magic...she found it really intriguing.

Vaguely even able to stand at this point, the youth would extend his hand out as the clothing was thrown in his direction. The misguided control he had over his new magic did put a tax on both the surroundings but himself as well. Though he barely caught a glimpse of the blush or red face if you call it that, though right now he was not in the mind set to crack an egotistical grin.

"yeah, because I totally meant to do that. Right? so thats why I deserve to be snarled at?". Even vaguely touching the spirit's cape made it fade a couple colors as if aged about a year, almost as if remains of the magic stayed on him until control was made more possible. Though at least all living things were safe for now. "Oh right... I should mention little spirit. Nothing is to be jealous about. " It was obvious Raiza though not feeling the best, was still able to snap back at the spirit that snarled at him in a way that he felt reasonable.

Even after wrapping the cape around him to stop being so revealing it wasn't going to do much in terms of imagination anymore. Then again guess it was payback for Raiza seeing Alleria. Though mentioning that now would only bring embarrassment, something Raiza didn't want to have to put his new partner through. "So where and what now? Return home or what. Sadly I do not think there is any civilized life here on this island other than the mythical creatures you capture to sell."
